The bar and Starbucks were very nice. Valet was extremely overpriced, $160 for two nights. Staff was friendly and room was relatively clean. Disappointing for a Marriott the outdated rooms and bathrooms.

Location. Was close to the activities. Room lighting is terrible. No ventilation in bathroom. AC was very loud and was difficult to maintain good temperature. Police visited room next door that ended in some sort of confrontation that left us in the room wondering if safe to come out.

Location was excellent for attending events at Bridgestone arena and for bar hopping/restaurants on Broadway Hotel is obviously older and the rooms while clean were quite dated. Very very small counter space in bathroom, not adequate for one person, let alone two. Room was quite small but clean.

The hotel is in a great location, right next to printer alley. Only a five minute walk to Broadway. I was very surprised you couldn't hear the music of a day or night. Beds where comfortable and rooms where spacious plenty of room for four people. They don't have a safe in the room but you could leave valuables to reception. I would have like a safe on the room. Especially with the hotel being an old bank, I did think they could have made a feature of having safes in the rooms. We didn't have much light in the room as the window faced a wall, which wasn't great. We had room 223. I would stay here again but you request a higher room. Price was good for the location.

Welcoming and helpful staff, clean room and common areas, Starbucks conveniently located within the building as well as a gorgeous restaurant, Gannons. Easy walk to local attractions (The Ryman Auditorium, Country Music Hall of Fame, The Frist Art Museum, and Broadway).

I reserved a king and got a 2ned twin and they wouldn’t even accommodate me. And toilet handle was broken.

Loved our room! The room was nice and quiet which is a plus if traveling with kids. The location is ideal if you want to check out Broadway or Printer’s Alley. Highly recommend this hotel. Perfectly situated around great tourist attractions.

The room was very basic - air conditioning was extremely noisy - our room looked at a building across an alley was dark and felt like a dungeon. The bar restaurant- Ganon was fantastic the owner Dave was super nice and very attentive.

I always stay here when I come to Nashville. The rooms are always clean, the workers are always so friendly, and I love the proximity for walking downtown and the cart service. This visit was upsetting because even though I am a Marriott Bonvoy member, since I used hotels.com for my reservation the king sized bed I reserved multiple months beforehand was downgraded to 2 queen sized beds. I was told this was because the hotel was totally booked and I used a 3rd party vendor. I did not appreciate this.

The ac was not working and it took the a long time to attempt to fix it. Then the incidental hold placed on my credit card was not credited for 2 weeks are we checked out. The hotel was the worst Marriitt I have ever stayed in. In addition when asked for a refund they denied the request due to third party.

Tried to charge me 65$ a day for valet parking! That is insanity. I’ve never heard of a hotel that doesn’t provide parking. I drove to the hotel just to find out I can’t park there. What a joke. And that price is insane.

The second night of our stay our room had a toxic smell. When we called the front desk they informed us they had been epoxying the tubs on other floors. This odor was causing dizziness and headaches immediately. We were given a new room on a higher floor. The odor was so strong we had to prop our door open while we packed. The smell remained in the hallways and in the lobby for the next two days. We had to cover our faces when we left our room and had to exit the hotel immediately. When we spoke to the front desk about it again they told us it was paint fumes. My husband is a contractor it was not paint. We also had issues with housekeeping skipping our room and requests for fresh towels when unanswered for 5 hrs. We were given Marriott points to compensate fo the odor, but I would preferred not to have slept in toxic fumes.

Did not eat there Price is very high parking should be free for that price. Did not use the or pool if you had one just spent the night. I can go to other places all over the country and they are not that high in price. I can get a sute in vagas cheaper than Nashville.. even reno san antonio tx downtown

Our room was clean and spacious, nice view of Church street and 4 th. Excellent location, we walked everywhere. It’s an old bank so it has its quirks! Loved the fireplace in the lobby, spent every evening there relaxing after busy day. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only downside is parking. Had to move car around daily but saved $$ by not parking at hotel.

Rooms were clean but lighting is terrible, the shower felt like it was going to pull out of the wall and something was terribly wrong with the AC - at one point our room was 84 ! Hallways were hot too. Hard to sleep- many customers switched rooms but it didn’t help much.

The service from Olivia was great, and the valet guys were amazing. Also, the hotel is beautiful and has a great ambiance. Highly recommend it

Staff was great and property was nice and clean. Close to Broadway and Printer’s Alley. The only issue was there was only one valet worker so it took over 30 minutes to get our car.

Perfect location for walking to Broadway and Printers Alley. We were greeted great and the check in was fast. We valet for a large fee but worth it to have our F250 kept right out font for us.

The front desk representative Nathan is beyond unprofessional. There was an incident which occurred over something small and he challenged us being the guest. Marriott holds high standards in their hotel chains and I would not expect this behavior to be acceptable.

The TV makes no sense being on the wall it is on. I checked in via the net and got a reply back in all asian writing. Called the front desk and was told all was good, but ended up having to check in at the desk anyway. I asked for extra towels via phone call and never got them. On checking out, I had someone else's address on my receipt.

I love the location. The place was very clean but the hotel is dated the room was very dark with limited light from the windows as it abuts a building. I had to put my face close to the window to see the sky.

Close to broadway, big rooms and comfortable bed. Only one of the three elevators was working and we were on the 9th floor.

Room was clean and comfortable They did have elevator issues but the resourceful staff offered the service elevators to accommodate the visitor needs

Only 1 of 3 elevators worked the entire weekend we were there. Room seemed muggy. Fridge did not work. The area was quite convenient for our stay so huge plus.

The hotel was nice but OMG the noise all night. People drive up and down the street revving engines until 3:00 am. That is my only complaint.

It honestly didn’t realize I booked downtown Nashville. The parking, lack of, and the busiest of that area was too much for me. I needed to stay and additional night but booked somewhere else. The bath tub had rust inside clear sign of the history.

We have stayed at this Marriott before and LOVE how close it is to both Printer's Alley and Broadway St. Clean, comfortable (we stayed on the 8th floor, so not sure if the quiet had a little to do with being on the upper floors) and walking distance to everything fun in Nashville downtown. Parking is PRICEY but nice to just drop off your car right in front of the hotel and head inside. We also love that the property's restaurant Gannons has awesome jazz music nightly! After a day of walking around Broadway, it's nice to head into Gannons for a drink before heading to bed. Will definitely stay again!!

My only complaint we arrived early around noon and asked if and when the room would be available. They said they would check on it and call, but I ended up having to ask the front desk several times and wasn’t granted access to the room till four. I understand that the check-in was at four, but I have almost never had an experience where I was brushed off until the exact time to check in.

The hotel was very nice, however, the housekeeping was very spotty. On our first day housekeeping came at around 9:00AM but we weren't ready to leave and told her not to bother cleaning that day. Subsequently, the next two days we had to request towels and the room was not cleaned.

We liked everything about our stay. The front desk was very knowledgeable and made things easy. Our only complaint is your parking. $157 for two nights is outrageous. After getting a decent price on the room then hit with that charge kinda shocked us. We’ll know better next time.

I stayed for a concert. The Valet was superb as usual and helped us ladies with our bags to the room. The desk staff was wonderful as well. The only issue was the air was blowing right into the bed and made it difficult to get comfortable to sleep.

Great location!! The only downfall is the restaurant attached to hotel, you cannot collect Marriott rewards. Only in the grab n go pantry.

Air conditioning blew directly onto the bed. Had to turn it off, then the room got too hot. Not a good nights sleep and that’s the reason we stayed there.

Stayed here while in town for a wedding. Great location close to Broadway and easy to get around whether walking or driving/ubering. The staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciated the Starbucks in the lobby. Our complaints - the valet was incredibly expensive and their website/app for requesting your vehicle was glitchy. All of the furniture was fairly uncomfortable from the couches to the beds so we did not get much sleep. Hotels in downtown Nashville are expensive but I didn’t find it to be worth what we paid for our room. I would’ve rather paid more somewhere else for a more comfortable room.

The hotel is beautiful and it is only 5 to 8 minute walk to the Ryman. The room is clean, there are bottles of water in the room, and the valet parking is easy to get into / out of. The clerks and valet parkers are amazingly sweet and so helpful.

Probably the quietest and darkest place I've stayed...

The property is located inside an old bank building with many original architectural elements remaining. Easy walking to the Ryman, Broadway, the Country Music Hall of Fame and many restaurants yet far enough away from the noisy part of town so it was quiet at night. "Gannons" restaurant on the first floor of the hotel has a great bar. All in all a great location!

Booked King room but told none available so ended up with double beds. Parking is valet only but there’s parking garages nearby. Overall the location is great and would stay again.

This property uses a 3rd party vendor for parking (not noted) and most parking had height restrictions which did not meet our needs! Overnight parking cost us over $100!

I've stayed at this hotel before and each time, the service at the front desk is responsive, approachable, and willing to make sure I'm squared away.

Hotel staff is 11/10, every employee interaction was great. The room was super lackluster, the bathroom door did not fully close, pipes were clearly bad as well. My room was booked as a king sized bed, no possible way it was king sized. It says these rooms are newly renovated, but I think they skimped on paying for quality work. For the price, and location, I expected a lot more than what I got.

Hotel was conveniently located. Our room was on the 2nd floor and had a close view of another old building - no view at all and no sunlight into the room - making it very dark. The hotel needs to add lighting to this room. It felt very much like a dungeon. It was clean but dark. The air conditioner was old and noisy. Our friends had views and bigger rooms - so it must have just been our floor and room and maybe the fact it was Expedia booked?

I enjoyed my stay. It was a little noisy due to being so close to Broadway. I knew this when booking and expected it. It doesn't to all night.

The hotel is in a perfect location for concerts at Nashville Municipal Auditorium!

Room had been updated so everything appeared clean. (needed to be vacuumed - raisins from previous guest still on floor) Renovations completed were on the cheap side. No place to plug in the one cup coffee maker, which really was just a cheapy water warmer. Fridge too small, could barely fit two small leftover containers - seemed not to have proper ventilation like it was an afterthought on a quick flip renovation. Requested king bed, it was most definitely not a king. Slightly larger than a queen but smaller than a King size. Parking for 60 a night is a joke - found other parking. After paying taxes, hidden fees and averaging close to $300 a night for a seven day stay - meh. Probably will not stay here again.

Very friendly staff. Location was perfect for us, a 10 min walk to Nissan Stadium and just a couple blocks to Broadway. Half a block to Printers Alley. No included breakfast, but there is a restaurant accessible from the lobby with breakfast and happy hour options.

I loved the convenience of walking to and from wherever I wanted to go. The staff was by far the best staff at a hotel I've ever had to talk to.

At $240/night the $60 per day parking fee is outrageous and, on top of that, the parking ap they give you solicits tips...if you add $10 for out and in per day, that makes it $70/day...and tax too. Then there is the $5 a bottle for water. Never use a Marriott again without shopping around. And, the valet service was slow and didnt get my car once even though the app said they were "hustling" my car...more like hustling customers
