    This was a wonderful hotel! The ONLY thing I missed was a microwave in the breakfast area so that I could reheat my coffee....added my own milk and thus had cold coffee. I WILL DEFINITELY STAY again!

    The room was very spacious and had a couch, desk, king sized bed, large dresser, big screen TV, small cabinet outside the bathroom w/sink, area to make coffe and microwave and fridge. Had a nice breakfast area. Staff was very personable and helpful. My only complaint was the showerhead is very high up in the bathroom and difficult for short people to reach. A hand held shower piece would be helpful! Highly recommend!

    He acted like they go through a lot of them , which told me it is a common issue that the tub drains have no way to keep the water in . He tried saying must be people steal the mechanism that usually lifts to plug the water. That is clearly not the case . That piece in the tub looks undisturbed. It just looks like it never had the correct piece on it to begin with ,,, so instead they hand out a rubber thing at the front desk if you complain about the tub not working properly . I’m pretty sure if I went there a month from now , it would not be fixed . Also , no fan in the bathroom which is pretty old school . The property was clean , and friendly service , but definitely has some maintenance issues .

    The exterior of the property is beautiful; well maintained and very clean. The lobby is clean as well. The room I stayed in was out-dated but fine. The big tub (which is in the bedroom portion of the suite) seemed to have a broken faucet so water sprayed wide and was taking forever to fill the tub so I gave up. The shower is TINY so be ready for that. The breakfast was just okay. They offered (powdered) eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles, yogurt/granola, danishes, toast, coffee and several juices. I wish the eggs had been actual eggs. The staff at check in and check out were all very nice.

    Had room cleaned every other day. Breakfast was pretty good. My jewelry went missing out of the room and I have contacted Best Western waiting on reply. My family member forgot her cell phone in the lobby when we left for airport, I called the hotel several times and left a messages for a call back and now 6 days later they have not called me regarding these issues. Staff not very friendly.

    When we checked in our room the door to the hall way would not lock. You could push it open with your hand. The staff laughed at us about the security of the room. We were staying for 3 nights. My spouse is a Carpenter by trade. He put a Screw Driver under the door frame so the door would lock. The jetted tub did not work. It did not have a plug to fill it up. The shower leaked water all over the bath room floor. We had to put down two towels each time to take a shower. The staff still laughing told us that they could put us in a double bed room but they could not reduce the rate because we didn't book directly through them and that wasn't their problem. they did not speak good English which was another problem. Their breakfast wasn't good either. The eggs are powdered and the bacon was so thin and over cooked it had no taste and was like eating paper. i will never stay at a Howard Johnsons again no matter where it is located and if I can't get help from Expedia on the cost of this room I will never book through them again either.

    Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Something was not working right with the coffee machine at breakfast, but we added hot water to make it better. The nice lady working there said that an order for repair was in the making. Adding hot water did dilute it nicely and made it much better.

    The hotel itself was very clean. The staff was helpful with setting up the shuttle rides that went downtown and any other questions that I had. The ladies that operated the breakfast bar were super nice and helpful and kep things clean and well stocked. I didn't use the pool, but it looked very clean and properly maintained. The shower in my room looked a little dated and the tub had a stain in it, but the water pressure was excellent and the water stayed hot the whole time. I used the microwave and fridge without any issues. The television was big and was very nice. The air conditioning in the room was easy to use and kept things comfortable. I also like the fact that the room had a safe that I could use when I went out for the day instead of keeping things in my car. The only thing that I didn't like was there wasn't very much parking in the front of the hotel where you could keep an eye on your car, but there's not much that can be done about that. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I come back to Nashville.

    Good breakfast options, they offer scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon in addition to the regular hotel breakfast fare. Beat the downtown traffic by staying in Opryland and do a ride share for a day or two downtown. Easy drive to the Opry, Nashville Palace near the BW a great genuine honky tonk.

    Breakfast items were inedible. The coffee coming out of the machine looked like a colonic mess. The water is mixed with a coffee concentrate but it is blended as it is pouring so it looks like a clump of brown spilling into the water as it is pouring into your cup. Nasty visual and worse taste. Even the yogurt was squirted out of a machine. The fresh fruit in its own skin/peels were fresh, however.

    Hotel was perfect for our trip. Great location to Opry Mills, Grand ole Opry and the Gaylord hotel. Short drive into downtown Nashville but there is a shuttle that goes downtown for $15 per person round trip. Lots of great restaurants near the hotel too. Staff were very helpful recommending some to us. Will stay there again.

    Accommodating check-in. He gave me the floor I asked for. Check-out is at 12 pm, but at 11 am, the housekeeper banged on my door nonstop loudly. When I answered, I told her check-out is at 12 pm. She shrugged her shoulders and walked off. I was sleeping. That was a rude, interrupting awakening. Otherwise, decent stay. Housekeepers need training on respecting their guests' stay and departure time.

    We checked in stayed 15 mins which was long enough to get to our room. When I checked the bed it was a filthy stained mattress that look like it had been brought in from the dump. Staff was very nice and gave us another room and it was the same. Unfortunately we booked thru hotels.com and could not get a refund but there was NO WAY I was sleeping on those beds. I have always relied on hotels.com ratings but this time they failed miserably. This hotel needs a complete overhaul and was rated as wonderful on hotels.com. We paid $180 for a room we did not stay in. Not sure I will trust hotels.com again

    Nice property. 7 min drive to Grand Ole Opry. They also have a $15 shuttle to downtown Nashville. We drove there and parking for the day was $50!!! Room was remodeled and clean. Breakfast had many options.

    This hotel was perfect for our visit to Nashville. The location is amazing for attending the Opry, the General Jackson Showboat cruise and doing a little outlet shopping. It was very clean and the room we had was very large. The staff was helpful and kind! Will definitely stay here again!

    Regrettably, our stay at Best Western has been marred by a series of unfortunate events. Bedbugs plagued our room, necessitating an early departure from the premises. This experience has left us uncomfortable and has led us to reconsider our future reservations at Best Western. We have several marks all over our body from the bed bugs. While looking for bedbugs, we took the sheets off and we found a gigantic stain on the mattress as well, completely unacceptable.This is by far the first experience for us to be in this situation. The hotel comped our state due to this unfortunate incidents.

    The room was spacious, clean and bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge, microwave and tea/coffee maker. All in excellent condition. Breakfast was included and was better than many places I have stayed in. There was ample and small changes daily along with the staples. Nothing to complain about and the coffee was excellent. Note coffee was available 24/7. Overall the property is in spectacular condition. Anyone that thinks differently is just wanting high-end desires on a low budget. Congratulation to the Best Western for excellent amenities and room sizes, for a decent budget friendly price band. Location was what I needed and I even walked to and from the mall (about 25 min walk if you're average speed) and Grand Ole Opry a few times. I enjoyed the walk and got to see more of the area because I wasn't rushing in a car. 100% recommend

    We were travelling as a family. We booked a room with two full beds, but got an extra large suite-type room that had a folding couch bed, sitting area, etc. Everything was in working order, clean, and neat. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

    The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast. Menu consisted of waffle maker, scrambled eggs and they rotated between sausage links and bacon, some pastries, bread, cereal and they offered instant oatmeal and a yogurt machine. Biscuits and gravy or another hot option would have been nice. Now for the room…we were assigned a handicap room and it was spacious. Bathroom was large but lighting was a little dark. The hotel does provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash located in the shower. The bed was too hard for my liking and made my body ache and I suggest you bring your own pillow. Their pillows were not very comfortable. They were small and very soft so for me not much neck support. The location is good out by the Opry. The staff when we checked in were not overly friendly or welcoming. Information about shuttles going downtown should be provided at check in as not all people traveling know about them. I asked because I had stayed at another hotel that told us about them. The shuttle also stopped running early (4 or 5pm) and the cost was $15 a person round trip. Staff stated it was winter hours so we just Uber’d or used Lyft to go downtown. Overall it was a decent stay for the price.

    I really hate to leave negative reviews however I feel as if I’ve been pushed into a corner. We checked into 2 rooms on Thursday the 12th of Feb. we immediately left for dinner. We were in bed about 9:00 pm due to an early morning. At approx 1:00 am I started coughing horribly. I called the front desk to see about leaving early due to an obvious sickness. I was advised I could leave but would not get a refund nor credit. I attempted to stick it out because I didn’t want to wreck my friends and my brothers trip and primarily because I hated to just lose our money. I went to a Dr in Nashville and was advised to go to the er but again I tried to stick it out til the next morning. My friends gathered me up around 11:00 pm and carried me to a hospital where I was admitted to icu. I attempted to contact the hotel numerous times to no avail and finally contacted BW corporate. After a week of n hearing nothing I called corp. again and they advised that I would have to call Hotels.com since I booked through them. Hotels tried contacting the property and were told the manager was not available ( same story they gave me). The hotels guy did offer me $25 credit to one key. I make this trip yearly and always try to stay at BW but never again. If they can’t take care of their customers better than this then I will no longer be their customer. I can’t say the room did or didn’t have something in it that contributed to my illness but I spent days in icu with multi focal pneumonia and sepsis

    You get what you pay for. Cleanliness left a bit to be desired. Rooms need a deep clean, dust and bugs alone the corners of the walls, bathroom tub was very slow to drain and I don’t know about you, I’m not having my feet submerged in hotel tub water. The mattress in our room was so worn out that you just sink into it. The front desk is the only reason for 3 stars, they were so friendly.

    The rooms are very comfortable, excellent breakfast and excellent position to the Gaylord Hotel where our conference was. I would have liked to open the window for fresh air, the curtains need a wash and the sun block curtain does not close possible. But all the rest was great!

    Hotel was fine, as expected for the price but service was poor. Advertised continental breakfast starting at 6am and when my husband and other guests walked down at 6am they were rudely dismissed and employee literally said “Sir, there’s nothing even out yet. Why are you in here?” and employee walked off. Tried again at 6:20 and lights were off and door was closed with no person around to give an ETA on when it would be available. When we checked out at 7am for the event we’re in town for, they were finally serving.

    The window unit did not work, no heat, air, fan, nothing. The buttons did not work. I did not notice until late and I was about to lay down. I didn't want to be hassled trying to repack and go to another room. When I was checking out I told them it did not work. There was no apology or even acknowledging this was an inconvenience. They just said, thanks you are checked out.

    I enjoyed my stay. It's a very quite hotel. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Especially the young lady that does the morning breakfast. I almost cancelled my booking because of some negative ratings. I am glad I didn't. For the amount of the stay it's a great hotel. I have absolutely no complaints. I will stay there again.

    The room is clean, just the right size for me and my husband. Plenty of parking spaces and is close to the places we visited especially the Opry. They have a nice & savory breakfast to choose from and the lady that’s managing the breakfast is nice and checking on the guest and she’s by herself and she was great with what she is doing.

    The room was OK but the bed and pillows were hard. The tub in the shower was rounded so it was hard to stand on (don't know why they even make these). The shower stream was harsh and actually hurt and it could not be adjusted. The one bright spot was the lady in the breakfast lounge, she was extremely friendly and always wanted to make sure we had what we needed.

    There was also an odd scratching sound in the outside wall. We finally discovered it was the tree planted at the corner of the building scraping the outside wall. It was a very annoying noise to try to sleep through. Overall the hotel was clean.

    Imagine expecting to have a relaxing time only to receive a call in the middle of the morning reporting that our vehicle had been broken into. They stole items from everyone's car that stayed in that area This lack of security ruined our entire trip and left us feeling unsafe and violated. I would not return unless I am staying at a location that offers professional 24-hour security patrol or a locked parking garage. Be warned: there is a serious security issue here.

    While the stay was comfortable our car was broken into the in the early morning hours. The hotel made no effort to notify any of the guests that there had been break ins. We heard about it from the person managing the breakfast area. The only thing the hotel could say was they let the police know when someone told them and while they have cameras all around the property apparently no one was watching this cameras.

    I emailed them on nov 9 the following message and to date have not heard anything: I had my stay mixed up I was thinking Sundaywas the 10th and didn’t realize it until Igot to the next hotel. I checked out a day early! Is there anyway to get a refund on the night I didn’t stay. The guy at the hotel who checked us out did not say anything about helping out early or I might have caught the mistake. I am now paying for an extra night at the next hotel.     Room was fine, very close to what we needed at a great price, parking was very easy. The staff that were handling the breakfast on Saturday and Sunday were amazing. There were huge busloads of students in for some conference and it was CHaOTIc. But she kept a smile on her face, everything stayed filled and it was a good experience for what it was.     I checked in later one evening and found a very spacious, quiet room once arriving at my destination. At breakfast the next morning, one of the ladies taking care of area told me about a shuttle to the city. That was an excellent bit of info. The shuttle(15.00 R/T) leaves hourly beginning at 10AM and drops you off at the Country Music museum(a must see!) in the heart of the city. it takes about 15 minutes. I also took a shuttle to the Opry which was only 10.00 R/T and took about 7 minutes.and drops you right at the venue. The Opry is fantastic, a must see also. The fellows at the desk of the hotel were wonderful and even helped me set up an Uber to head back to the airport(about a 15 minute ride) A cab cost 55.00, Uber around 16.00. One fellow in particular was very knowledgable about Country Music so an added bonus. The hotel price was beyond reasonable. A great stay!.

    King room had a loveseat and a desk chair, a comfortable bed, microwave and fridge in room. It was clean and the shower had great water pressure(also the shower head wasn’t wonky). The breakfast was good, staff friendly and there was a shuttle you could utilize to hit down town. I did not rent a car and could walk to at least a 1/2 dozen places to eat all within a mile or less. I used the shuttle (small fee) to get to broadway to do a bar crawl. Went to museums, listened to good live music and hopped on/off the trolley to get around once I was downtown.

    Great Staff, quickest check-in I ever experienced! During breakfast, a staff member let us know about the $15 shuttle to Broadway. Ice was easily located. Staff always greeted when entering and exiting lobby. Would stay here again. Walking distance to Santa Fe BBQ, Cooters, Willie Nelson Museum, and Nashville Palace. Short car ride to Grand Ole Opry.

    The staff was very courteous and the hotel was in good shape. The room was big, had an odd smell, but thankfully the window opened. The toilet was oddly low to the ground and very shallow, almost fell a few times at night trying to locate it, be forewarned, plus the lighting in the bathroom was horrible, just awful.     Check in was easy. Free parking a plus. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and comfortable. Only problem we encountered was that our TV did not work the first night. The desk attendant came and tried to fix it but couldn’t. The maintenance man wouldn’t be able to come until the following day. The desk attendant said they would give us a $40 credit on our stay for the inconvenience. We booked and pre-paid through Hotels.com so I guess we’ll never see the credit. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would return in the future.

    We were traveling through Nashville and wanted to stay close to the Opry. This is a perfect place. Well taken care of Hotel. Breakfast was really good. Renee was working the Breakfast area and she was the highlight of the trip. Just such a warm person and cared about the people. Hard to find someone who can interact with others in a personable way. The room was great. The pool was great. Parking was safe and well lit. Overall a definite 5 of 5 stars.

    The hotel was nice and the room was spacious and for the most part newly renovated. A shower instead of a combination bath/shower would be a great improvement. The front desk person was not very friendly when I checked in and the lobby looks a little rundown but the room made up for these problems.

    Our room had half finished repair projects, the hallway stairs from 1st-2nd floor was is need of a serious cleaning. We had no remote control in our room. Our bathtub drained very very slowly, and has standing water most of the time. Maintenance never showed to fix it.

    I wish I’d gotten his name, but the guy working the counter was super friendly and nice :) Our room was clean and comfortable and most importantly it was quiet. I was also glad to see that they keep snacks and emergency supplies like toothbrushes for guests behind the counter. I will absolutely be booking a stay here again.

    The property was extremely clean, and the staff was very kind. It was in a quiet and safe location very close to Opry Mills, and the grand old Opry. The hotel was old and several of their furniture and fixtures were very worn down. Although it was extremely clean. The room was dark and needed additional lighting. It did have a very large fridge microwave and a little sink, which was very helpful. Overall, it was a good stay.

    When we first arrived the lobby had an oder. The people at the desk didn't like me saying that. They was not very welcoming. I enjoyed the lady that did the breakfast she was pleasant and helped and kept every clean. I have to tell you about the shuttle bus (music city) the front desk called. They took us down to music row and gave us instructions to call or someone will be in the spot to be picked up call the number they gave us no answer 1030pm. So at 12am we had to take a cab back to the hotel and costed $55. So they are not a good shuttle to use.

    This Best Western is a hidden gem. The hotel was extremely clean and very nice. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the entire hotel stayed. I stayed from Thursday through Monday morning and never had a bad moment.

    The room was nice but it seems like there isn't an inspection before the room is rented. We had to call down for light bulbs to be replaced and the refrigerator really did not work well. Also the towels were a bit rough and thin. Those were the only detractions from the stay.

    This is the third trip we have stayed. The hotel is so convenient. The staff is friendly and everything is generally clean. This trip though our door didnt shut very well, we couldn't adjust the ac, and the curtains were broken. The room needed some TLC just want to make note of it. Overall the stay was fine. The hotel is quiet, clean, ans convenient which is what we need when we travel.

    The hotel was in the location. Had a problem in our room and the guy was there in 2 minutes to fix it. The lady was great that handled the breakfast area. But there were very FEW items to choose from. There is NO microwave to heat up anything so you had stale pastries. I would stay there again though.

    The TV is not a Smart TV, the remotes are archaic, the printed channel listing was not related to the online listing of channels. The bed mattress was very soft and clearly well worn past the date of good quality. the jacuzzi tube did not work at all. The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff were terrific, personable, and helpful with information about sites to visit. The location was excellent for access to the Opry House and show. The price for the room was excellent. The room was a large suite and given the shortcomings listed above, acceptable. I would however be willing to pay more for more upgraded amenities, a firm mattress, working WiFi in the room, and a SMART TV.

    Had to be moved to a different room after the first night due to the musty smell. A/C was not working correctly and putting out so much water that our hanging clothes in closet were wet. New room was better but not great. Carpet throughout hotel is very dirty. Would never stay there again.

    We had a terrible experience with this hotel. We had reserved three rooms for a family trip. One had a broken air conditioning and it was the beginning of August. They did nothing to help. Another room had a foul odor like mold smell. We asked for an extra blanket or bedding in order to use the pullout bed in the room and we were treated terribly. We were told they don’t do that and then we were questioned on the amount of people in our room. We only had 4 like we had stated in our reservation. Too make matters worse we were over charged $100 per room on our card statement and had to call to get it fixed. They were very rude and very dishonest as well as not accommodating no at all. We were supposed to stay one more night but opted to lose the $400 because they refused to cancel our rooms that we were supposed to use 2 days later. I would NEVER reccomend this hotel to anyone. I have also lost my trust in hotels.com after being told one thing and not having it happen. They were not much help when we called and it was very hard to get in touch with a live agent. I am so frustrated after this trip.

    The room was fine but the beds could use new mattresses. Also, the air conditioning unit was just a register that I couldn’t control. One time it was freezing and then the next it was warm so I don’t know what they’re setting is, but it’s not something you can regulate. Also, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, which is irritating. Otherwise it was OK. I think it’s a little expensive for what you get.

    . I speciicall rented this hotel because it said they had help with tours and tickets. The two people I interacted with had no idea about anything. They said the shuttle showed up whenever. Not true. He came every hour they were open. The front desk were very unhelpful. The woman running the breakfast knew more than they did. I still gave excellent Mu sister and I had a great time.

    The continental breakfast was decent, the swimming pool was great. The fitness room needed a bit updates and the lights there turned off every half hour automatically even people were in there.
