B&B La Certosa di San Martino

Wonderful stay in a beautiful part of the city with the most amazing views. The host was extremely welcoming and always happy to help, going above and beyond. I would 100% recommend staying here, and we hope to stay here again at our next visit to Naples!

Very clean …Bedding and towels changed often. Good shower and wiFi too. Nice croissant amongst the breakfast supplied. Short stroll to the Metro underground which gets you into the city centre within 4 to 5 stops. Very little although Duillio the owner does like to be present at breakfast and will do your toast for you and pour your coffee from the machine when you could easily do that yourself but that’s just his way of doing things and not a real criticism. He speaks broken English with a strong Italian accent so can be a little hard to understand sometimes though.

The host was very attentive and helpful. Location was convient to mass transit and sights.

Amazing location in the Vomero—close to both funicular lines and the Vanvitelli metro stop. Excellent for strolling and taking in the view of the bay from the piazza in front of the Certosa, a two minute walk. Also excellent breakfast and Duilio is a wonderful host. I liked everything, and have no complaints.

Exceptional

I loved everything about this property. The room was really big, bright and clean. The bed was really comfortable and there was brilliant view from the balcony. The owner was really lovely and helpful. He cleaned our room and changed our sheets everyday. He was very friendly and accommodating. He did everything to ensure our stay was great and that we had everything we needed. There was nothing I didn’t like about the property.

Location was good - easy to get to places on the funicular or metro. Near lovely castle, nice bars, restaurants & shops. Nice room, good size. Owner very helpful. Good value for money. Sound proofing of rooms maybe could be improved as we could hear neighbours talking in next room & they probably heard us - but it was not huge issue as they were not noisy at night time. Could benefit from a full- length mirror very important for most ladies I would think.

Beautiful historic building in one of the best areas of Napoli (Vomero/San Martino). The owner is one of the sweetest persons you’ll ever meet. Highly recommended. Nothing/Niente

Quiet and very safe area. The breakfast was good and most importantly the host (Duilio) was flexible about the food choices and also when to have it, asking us in advance what kind of food we prefer. So a bit of dialogue will make everything being the way you want it to be. Also every evening when we got home there were two bottles of water waiting for us, one in the fridge, one outside. He also gave us metro tickets when we had to leave early in the morning. Since I speak Italian I had a lot of interesting discussions with the host. He is a cultured person and very knowledgeable regarding Naples and all the places around it worth visiting. The room had everything advertised for (and a great view) but we didn`t have the time to admire it too much as we were always on the move. Good wifi as well. The weather in August was a bit hot for me when outside but obviously that is nobody`s fault. Good AC though when at home.

We spend beautiful days in this apartment. Perfect location not far from Vanvitelli station. Very good and safety district. Fantastic view of the city from our balcony. Diulio is an amazing, sweet and involved host, he really did everything for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Room was cleaned every day, breakfast is to be bought for you from your choice, beautiful panorama from the room and a safe neighbourhood. We have stayed here for 9 days and we could have done the double of that. Funicolare time is until 10PM, you have to take stairs (good work out) after that. Nothing about the B&B: that was perfect

Amazing place to stay during your Napoli visit! The apartment is very nice and clean and has a convenient location in a lovely area of Vomero, with the most amazing view of the city! AC and a small balcony is a great plus, especially in the summer, and the breakfast was just perfect! Most importantly, the owner is extremely nice and helpful and makes the whole stay very enjoyable! We highly recommend this place! Nothing, all was perfect!
