Trash, the room would make your skin crawl, sticky wet carpet, the mattresses were so stank we slept ontop of the covers, the front dest double rented our room, at 11pm we had 3 people bust in the room on us. After arguing we finally got the front desk to fix the issue at 12am. Then the police woke us up at 3am with nonsense, a hooker staying at the hotel had blocked in a uber driver. A fight broke out at our door the next morning. And a couple had sex infront of my kids in the pool a The next morning. We paid 871.00 for a room everyone else paid 125.00 for . We did find a couple that showed us they booked with bookings.com and got the same weekend as us for 59.00 a night. Our family vacation was ruined, and let's not talk about the run around I recievewhen I tried to cancel, multiple times Everything. The bookings.com was absolutely no help, they rented us a drugged out hotel horrors, and let's not mention how nasty it is there!!!

Absolutely nothing. Everything!! This was the worst place I have ever seen. Nasty! Didn’t feel safe staying there. Asked for a refund and they refused. Ended up going and getting a hotel elsewhere because we didn’t want to end up robbed or catching something. Not one to give bad reviews but this place needs to be shut down.

The people was nice and the pool was clean. The room had roaches and old out of date stuff, I had to buy towels and stuff to make the room suitable to stay but overall if they fix up the rooms it will be a great place to stay.

Nothing BEWARE after booking when checking in they will charge you ANOTHER $40 to “cleaning fee” if you push about it. They then say that booking.con keeps half the money you pay that they have to charge you more……….front desk person throw my ID across the counter when I refuse to pay extra then they want ANOTHER $100 refundable deposit on top of everything else. Rooms smelled like smoke and beer. Cigarette burns on almost every flat surface in the room.

I wiped down the room and it was clean Before I booked they tried to charge me $1300 for 3 nights. I got in the room, no remote to the tv, the inside door handle was broke, and never received my $100 deposit. I'll never stay there again.

Very dirty.. staff wasnt very helpful. The room they put us in had no toilet paper. No towels or wash clothes and dirty linen was all over the floor. It looked very rundown.. we told the front desk and they did move is to another room that at least had clean linen.. but room service never came with fresh towels the next day not asked about cleaning.. just very unprofessional.

We found roaches. Towels were stiff and abrasive. Tub constantly leaked. Couldn't use balcony, water dripped constantly splashing you. Balcony had algae growing. The pool fronted the entire hotel, so noise was constant. The $20 deposit wasn't recorded at check-in, so I didn't get that back. Woman at check-out desk was rude, lacked people skills. I didn't expect much, but I got less than that. Won't be staying there again.

If you choose to stay here, bring lysol and an extra set of junk sheets you don't mind pitching and plastic bags to put your belongings in to protect them from the bugs and dirt. There was security on the property, which made me feel safer.

We actually didn't stay at the Wayfarer Motel. We got there and realized that it was not the type of place one would take their family. It is located in a less than desirable area of Myrtle Beach, is in poor condition, smokey, moldy tiles, rusty bathtub etc. We took one look at it and said, "No, thanks!" Unfortunately, I had pre-paid and am still trying to get my money back. We found a cleaner, more suitable place down the street. Never having been to Myrtle Beach before, I had no idea that there were places like this. At the time of booking it was rated as a 2.5 and we needed at cheap & cheerful place to stay near the airport for our last night. Totally disappointed.

They didn't even have a room for me when I arrived. It would have been nice if Expedia had told me that by booking same day the hotel wouldn't even get my reservation in time. I had to go to a different hotel last minute. This hotel was in a sketchy area anyway.

$90 a night was extremely overpay I would rated at a $40-$45 hotel wasn't the cleanest. There were armed guards in the evenings outside patrolling The hotel it made me very easy about my safety and security.

Walked in the first thing you see is rust and dents on the frige..., burn holes in the carpet, the beds were made but looked like someone had slept on them. Worst stay at a Hotel I have ever experienced! Would not have stayed if we could have found another place...

One of the worst motels I've ever been in. Was not on the ocean like it said it was in the email. Bathroom door did not work, towel rack in the bathroom was broke, toilet paper holder was broke. There was some kind of crud all over the bottom of the bathtub and the worst part was when we seen roaches crawling across the table beside the beds. I would never recommend anyone staying at this motel!!

Where do I begin? When we arrived we were expecting a hotel on the beach, this hotel ended up being across the street from the beach even though the hotel discription and picture gave the impression that it was on the beach. The manager/owner seen how upset we were and told us they could book us in their sister hotel across the street on the beach and then retracted that statement 10 minutes later saying because we paid online we could not switch over due to billing issues online. We spoke to the owner of this "sister hotel" and she told us they had lied and they were not the sister hotel of the wayfarer. In addition to all of this there were cockroaches which the owner tried to tell us were just "palmetto bugs" which we looked up and found out that a palmetto bug is just another name for an american cockroach and the owner told us that there was "nothing they could do about them, all of the hotels have them along the beach". The only thing good about this room is that it was so bad that it kept us out doing anything we could to keep from going back. We did have fun in Mertle Beach but dreaded going back to our room.
