We booked 2 rooms, they placed us in rooms side by side. The lady who cleaned the rooms was very nice and left extra towels. Unfortunately, the positives end there. The rooms were not clean. The floors were so dirty that the bottoms of our feet turned black. The bedspreads had burn holes and curtains had holes too. One room(205) the door was falling off the hinges. It was clear that previous repairs were attempted. The door was hard to open/close, when requesting a different room because we didn’t feel safe, we were told maintenance had to inspect it first. When we returned, they said it was fixed and refused to move us to another room. All they done was tighten the screws. To make it worse, they took the pillowcases/sheets and never replaced them. When we left, the door was difficult to open/close again. The bathroom light in that room only worked by flipping the switch multiple times. The TV remote barely worked and the batteries were taped in. There was an ironing board but no iron, no coffee pots and no hairdryers. The pool was poorly maintained. The pool floor was covered in sand/shells and the chairs around the pool were broken. Overall, the property is in serious need of cleaning, maintenance, and updates. While the housekeeping member was kind and helpful, the condition of the rooms, lack of basic amenities and the dismissal of our safety concerns made for a very disappointing stay. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here!!

Property is poorly maintained, dirty and looks nothing like photos. This property was listed as non refundable. Probably because if it were, most would want a refund and go elsewhere. The only good things I can say is there was a beach and we didn't get any bugs.

It wasn't the nicest room but we knew that when we booked. The check in staff was very friendly and let us check in 3 hours early so we got more time at the beach that day. For $200 and beachfront on a holiday weekend I was happy with it.

I like that it was near the beach I didn’t like room floors was not clean and shower was dirty. Also it was sand and cigarette holes on the covers ( was suppose to be a non smoking room) and a guy walked up to me and told me my life was in danger and then he was looking in my car when me and my son was getting our stuff to leave .. as a single mom I was on edge the whole time

Had to book at the last minute for a birthday get away. They came in clutch. Manager was super awesome, upgraded for free after we told him it was a birthday trip. We are smokers and the option to smoke on the balcony was a big plus. Great view of the beach. All in all, if you need a place at the last second and want direct beach access. Go for it.

I paid for my hotel room through the app. No extra fees or anything. I was told that I had two options. Move from the room I am currently in, into a different room. But have to check out until 4pm and come back at check in.

Very outdated hotel. They should be ashamed charging what they charge for a 2 night stay! The only good thing I have to say is the bed was clean. Lots of arguing, screaming and loud noises during the night There was a blood trail on the balcony, police came 3 times, saw 1 person get arrested! An ambulance showed up, and the gas was siphoned out of a truck parked next to their parking lot. Sketchy people loitering around, begging for money, not a very nice neighborhood. Stressed me out staying there. Not what I expected for a short weekend getwaway. This property is in dire need of a complete overhaul and upgrade! Don't stay there! It's not worth the money!!!

We checked in and immediately checked out they tried to show us other rooms but they all were trash and smelled like smoke and BO. Then they are refusing to give a refund even though we didn’t stay. I have a two year old and not even 5 minutes of walking around with no shoes on her feet were BLACK. There was no toilet paper holder, stained and cig burned blankets. Stained chairs floors had old used plastic spoons. Old food. It was absolutely awful and to not offer a refund is absolutely absurd. This whole place needs to be shut down

There were roaches and pool was close and dirty. Sheet and towels were dirty. Had to keep going to the office to get clean towels and sheets.

This place was absolutely horrible. Door wouldnt lock. Room door wouldnt close at all. Area surrounding the room was absolutely trashed. The overwhelming smell of urine and drugs everywhere. Nothing at all like it is advertised. We were there about 20 mins and that was 20 mins to long. I will never recommend this place to anyone

The Twilight Surf Ocean Front at Myrtle Beach at a RAT hole. The room was terrible. Sand on the floor, no comfort. Beds are hard as a rock. No cups, no coffee, no soap, lotion and no room service. THE WORST

Originally I had a completely different property booked but then property canceled and placed us into this one. On our arrival the hotel and the surrounding area were very sketchy multiple police vehicles in and out continuously! Through out the evening. Our first night was interesting we left for dinner and came back with a giant leak over the toilet the room itself was very dirty and un kept stains in bed and bed sheets. We then request management to relocate us to a new room which they did with no problems. The new room was much better cleaner and nicer. Not worth $1292 I paid for three days much better options out there. Good view of the beach and the pool

There was a used needle on the balcony. When the front door is shut you can see light all the way around the door. There is no elevator so is you are on the 3rd floor you have to walk up the stairs and carry your luggage. This hotel needs a serious upgrade or close down.

No one was there for me to check in, granted it was late but NO ONE WAS THERE FOR ME TO CHECK IN. I had to spend the night at a different place the first night. Got locked out of my room 3rd night. No one was at the front until called by security.

The room was filthy, the mattress cover had a burn hole and was covered in blood spots and the owner/operator didn't care one bit and refused to give a refund. The entire area reaked of marijuana, dogs in rooms barking and howling all night long. The housekeeping lady gave nothing but lame excuses as to why the room was filthy and it took her over 4 hours to clean the room. Air conditioner barely put out any air at all. Didn't want to stay but had no choice since they refused a refund. This hotel should be condemned and shut down and demolished.

Not a very good location even though it was ocean front. Lots of criminal activity.

Property was filthy, room was dirty when arriving, balcony door lock was broken, pool was full of bugs, also had other guests enter our hotel room, twice because they were given the same room and keys.

The second room was good! It could have been cleaned better but it was good enough. The front desk staff is super nice, let us check in early. Police were there 5 different times in the 2 days we were there. There are some questionable people around there.

Felt unsafe as soon as I got to the property lots if drug use and sellers on property atmosphere was sketchy.pool was dirty overall unsatisfied.

Room was over all disgusting did not look like it had been touched other then fresh linen, it smelled of cigarettes. I had to clean and Lysol everything before my kids could touch anything.

The rooms were terrible. Floors was dirty. We were put in a room with an unclean stove. The manger made it right tho.

It was very old and dirty. The pools were in no shape for anyone to be in. It was dirty with torn up patio furnishings. Within 2 hours of being there, we saw one person being taken away by an ambulance and a car load of people taken to jail. All in the parking lot, outside of my room. Its not private parking and no parking pass is required so EVERYONE is parking there. Service was horrible. The front desk attendant sat on a couch in the back room while smoking a cigarette and waving at me. He clearly saw me and made me wait until he was finished. Dirty sheets. Bath tub was dirty. Floors were really dirty. Very gritty. Never again. Ill sleep in my car.

The floor was dirty, limited hot water, drug deals going on. Being that we paid $500 dollars I would expect that we would receive d clean wash cloths and towels and possibly the room being cleaned when we stayed but that didn't happen and I had to Walk all the way down 3 flights of stairs to ask and receive wash cloths and towels. And the constant smell of drugs being smoked had to put masks on my kids wife and I nose. Definitely never staying there every again

Hi I recently stayed at this hotel. The reason I didn't like it is because the floors were dirty in the hotel room . There was only one lock on the door. Some of the cabinets had no knobs on them they were laying on a table. Couldn't tell if the sheets were dirty or clean holes in the curtains or should I say rips. Bathroom didn't look that clean and I got one bath mat and two towels no washcloth.

Too much you can say about this place. Sheets was dirty , ac didn't work. Floor was dirty and sandy.

Not good for the family. Too many homeless people were around, they were keep coming in and out of the hotel property. Found some roaches and let the manager know but he said that roaches were coming out because of the bug spray was performed by the exterminator earlier. These properties make a lot of money from their costumers but they cannot spend some to make enjoyable for them. In short, go somewhere else other than the Myrtle Beach. I thing the whole area has become a slum because of the drug dealers and poor liberal minded management. Drugs have multiplied homelessness in the area. People go to tourist spots to relax and enjoy but this trip left a bad taste.

The manager was the only thing (person) we liked. He was very nice. The door to the room was not very secure. The first bedroom had no full curtain to shut out lights or make the room where u could change clothes in. The bathroom water never got hot, but warm after running it for 15 minutes. There was no room to store your personal products in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. Not enough hanging space for clothes. The floors had sand on them. Some of the drawers were missing knobs. Plenty of cabinets but no dishes nor pots or pans. Should have had tv in other bedroom. The heat/a/c unit was extremely loud when on. Had to keep it low to hear tv. There was no comfortable chair in the rooms, only dining room chairs. Had bad cigarette smell in room even though there was a large sign in office stating no smoking in rooms. Large amount of homeless people around hotel and beach. The deck on the sand was overtaken by them. The parking was tricky.

The hotel is right on the beach, it's tough to beat that, especially if you get an ocean facing room. It's a pretty killer view. The hotel itself is very old and run down. The furniture is in various states of disrepair and the bathroom is very outdated. BUT, you're right at the beach and again, if you get an ocean facing room, dynamite view.

The place was not clean and very nasty and there was too much noise and I was not happy with my stay.

Did not even get out of the car, the pictures were deceiving. Did not feel safe getting out of the car because people were fitting in the parking lot. The place look run down. Very unhappy overall.

Limited parking spaces, more often than not was blocked in by someone that didn't reside there; parking spaces were also taken by the same. Always noisy, floor was dirty, people were always knocking late night or early in the morning, you would think for the hefty price I had to that the security could keep the heads at bay. Definitely sticking to chain hotels after this one. Worst piece of feces infested garbage. I've ever stayed in, Gastonia had nothing on this one. It's so terrible and the managers of it don't even care. I would give it less than one star if I could. Really, truly, awful...I wouldn't recommend mend this place to anyone. 1st revision since they don't want negativity lol.

If you love roaches, this is the place for you!!! We complained about the roaches right after we got there. We were handed a can of Raid. No refunds!!!! He tried to extort more money from me when we reported the fridge didn’t work. Wanted $102 more for a new fridge. He jipped me laundry money and there was one a/c in the wall over the kitchen sink. It was hot and that a/c unit couldn’t keep up. We had to sleep with our doors open to our room because there was no central air. The floors were sandy when we got there. Roaches, roaches, ROACHES! RUN AWAY!!!

The overall appearance and environment of this hotel in my opinion is not suitable for children! There are plenty of what appears to be drug dealers and addicts hanging on the premises, which also appears to be outdated to say the least. On the flip side the manager was as accomodating as could be given the circumstances. In short I wouldn't revisit or refer anyone I love or care for.

The room had roaches the beds had sand under the covers and when I asked for extra towels and wash clothes I wasn’t giving what I asked for! Dog poop was everywhere in the parking lot. No phones to call down to the office!

Keep clean the room and bedding materials. It noisy as well!

Outside needs an upgrade, pool area isn't very secure and was dirty with trash everywhere. Whole hotel felt kinda shady with the amount of people just hanging around outside staring at you, and random cars going in an out all day. Inside of our room was clean, what looked like new flooring, and plenty of space.

Nothing looks like the pictures and the rooms are horrible and infested with roaches and bed bugs. Toilet kept getting clogged up had to clean room myself and sheets had it was just beyond and also I feel I was over charged for the room 1,200 for 2 days for a room like that. Please choose wisely I will never do this again.

It’s right on the beach so that was nice .pool was warm ,we did find two roaches and people was outside at 1am letting off fireworks right by the rooms.lots of people hanging out didn’t really feel safe.the price was the cheapest we found ..it had a stove but no dishes was told there’s a Walmart down the road.

This property would be great if it wasn’t for the people that are under the influence of drugs. Burn outs everywhere around this hotel and surrounding. Definitely couldn’t let my teenage sons walk by theirselves to the beach or back to the room. Under the beds were dirty. Definitely don’t leave anything on the railings they will be thrown out. It’s a must you bring own dishes and cooking materials. Our room had kitchen and stove. It doesn’t cook evenly. Our refrigerator didn’t work so after a day the owner brought us a brand new one. Perfect place if you are an adult not for families with small children.

We rented an apartment and the only things provided were bath towels, hotel soap, hotel shampoo, microwave, stove and refrigerator. We had to go out and buy plates, silverware, pots and pans, cooking utensils, coffee pot and toaster just so we could make meals in the apartment. The bedrooms stay hot unless you leave the doors open to them because the only a/c unit is in the kitchen. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely terrible. Also you couldn’t walk anywhere around the property without smelling marijuana. Overall considering the amount of things we needed to buy that I think should have been provided, it wasn’t worth the money that we paid to stay there for 5 nights.

As soon as we checked in to our room, it was not cleaned. Balled up dirty sheets on the couch, bed was not made. The room was just dirty. We got a room with a kitchen, no utensils or pots and pans to cook with.

The properties in a pretty great location. Lots of traffic in and out of the parking lot because they have paid parking right next to the parking for the hotel. If you have a vehicle make sure it's secured because there are some unsavaries walking about. The staff are very nice people I enjoyed my stay.

Stayed one night, got ate up by bedbugs. At one AM, I was itching and covered in bites. And I starting looking and found several bugs crawling under the mattress on the fabric that hangs off the bottom of the bed.

First of all…I asked for an ocean front room and got the room directly above the office. The sheets on the bed AND pull out couch were dirty and had sand all over the place.

It was an awful place, we felt unsafe and we had to walk through an alley behind the first section of the hotel that was dark and unkept. The TV didn’t work at all… why wife and I would never want to stay there again.

Absolutely the worst hotel and staff I ever experienced!!

Me and my family was locked in room 303 for 4 hours. The deadbolt was stuck we had no number for the front office and had to call the fire department to get the door open. The lady had an attitude the entire time we stayed.

The lady in the office was very accommodating concerning the fact that we have difficulty with stairs. We had booked for 4 people, however, 2 backed out on us. They would not change the price for that and my receipt still says 4 guests. No, there were only 2 of us. Said because the room has 2 beds. There was no outlet in the bathroom. Just fyi, No hair dryer nor coffee pot provided. Luckily, I brought my own. I cleaned the dirty microwave, no big deal. No bugs at all in our room. Bed linens were clean. Bathroom was clean. I would stay there again.

The guy who runs the place is amazing. He was super sweet and upgraded us a suite room from our standard king for free! The location on the beach was the best part for us. The worst would be all of the people that would walk around, clearly dealing drugs, at all hours of the night. It sucks because it definitely doesn’t feel very safe in that area and twilight surf has alot of potential to be a 5 star place. If they could get rid of the drug dealing, I’d be willing to bet they would thrive. Staff is super friendly too and always appears to be working hard. Overall we had a wonderful get away, and I want to thank the man behind the counter- he was absolutely kind. I really hope that the people around there don’t take the business down!

I was charged more than I was supposed to pay there was no place to park and I don’t know what’s going on at that place, but there were cars pulling in and out of people that didn’t even have rooms it was extremely noisy people, yelling, screaming, and hollering all night and day Was very disappointed

The place was filthy, run down and completely drug infested. I booked for 2 rooms for 3 adults. When I got there they only had one room reserved and refused to give us a refund. There was a hypodermic syringe on the ground and blood drops on the sidewalk outside the door. We felt very unsafe. No way we were staying there. Had to find a last minute hotel that was half hour from the beach. It was a huge hassle and setback to our vacation. Nothing but a drug dive used for nafarious purposes.

I’m not enough parking

The sheets were dirty owner argued with me moved rooms no lights sheets dirty doors would not lock and owner closed office doors had to move to another hotel same night.

This is my very first trip to Myrtle Beach and I'm 67. The staff here has been great. After an 11 hour drive and it being night I can hear the ocean and see the waves breaking on the beach from the balcony. I will be back!
