Property was pretty run down. Appeared to have a lot of activity in the parking lot.

Not on the water. They have it written 2:00 pm check in! We got there at 2 they said rooms weren’t available until 4:00!! The room was ok and clean.

Close to everything Very sketchy elevator/rickety with boards on the wall and took forever to open and close and move,a lot of yelling outside,definitely wouldn’t stay again,pool had algae all in it for the first 3 days we where there

It was nothing like pictures. Burn holes throughout even though the room was nonsmoking. Very shady activity going on outside and non sober people living in the rooms next to us. My husband was offered substances twice and we stayed there only one night on our way through.

The room itself was quite clean and comfortable, but the hallway and elevator and almost everything else needs fixing or cleaning.

Gentleman at front desk was super nice. Very convenient to everything. We loved the 2 bedroom suite. Kitchenette update would be awesome. Would love to come stay a week and would use the kitchenette, but would appreciate an update first.

Room patio door was not closing properly and we had to hear a lot loud noise from outside all the night. Hotel did not offer any concession as well after complaining.

Stayed 3 nights with friends who had rented another room. I never felt unsafe. The pool was questionable however we still went for a quick dip. The walk to the beach was quick and we could see the ocean even being across the street. All in all it was a get what you paid for experience and the hotel was solely used for showering and sleeping while the beach was the main attraction. We had friends staying another room and they had minor issues with the microwave and TV. And I'm not a Debbie downer however I didn't like the fact that the rules for smoking were in place possibly a state law thing but once you open your door to leave it smelled like straight weed. There was a plunger belonging to a needle in one of the stairwells. The elevator worked until the last day it completely quit. But I understand beach life and alot of workers or locals do long term living in hotels. Again I never felt unsafe the locals were kind to us.

Clean room I didn’t like the basic TVs no Roku TVs and sometimes the toilet wouldn’t flush but overall worth the money

I work front desk at a hotel myself, so it was extremely obvious this was not some “system issue” or innocent mistake like they tried to make it sound. They realized they could try to get more money for the room and thought I’d cave. When I didn’t, suddenly my reservation became a “problem.” Very obvious pattern this hotel has of screwing people for more money.

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing trip. I also appreciated the quiet atmosphere and affordable pricing compared to other places nearby. While the hotel may not be super luxurious, it was a solid place to stay for the value. I would definitely recommend Quail Inn Hotel to anyone looking for a simple, budget-friendly stay in Myrtle Beach.

The location was great. Walking distance to the beach. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean. Beds very comfortable. Full fridge, stove and microwave were useful and functional. Noise level with facing the beach is definitely not a good idea if you have babies to try to put to sleep or if you are sensitive to noise. The motorcycles that are constantly cruising ocean Blvd are very loud, even with the patio door closed. Not a deal breaker for me, but maybe if the patio doors were sound proof, that would be better.

The entire hotel was filthy and looked as if it was falling apart. The room stunk the sheets were dirty. Hair on the shower walls elevator did not work. Pictures associated with this hotel online are not of the actual hotel. The pictures are of the quality inn.

The toilet in the room above us was broken and water was pouring down into our bathroom flooding the floor. We went down to the office and they sent someone to check. He was going off duty and informed us that there wasn't anyone to clean the bathroom. I went back to the office and he said he was the only person there and there weren't any other rooms that would accommodate our group. He suggested that we could clean it ourselves. The ceiling was so damaged and coming down which made it unsafe. When I notified Hotels.com was not helpful at all.

A great location and place to stay.

The room was clean, but it didn't smell good; it seemed as though someone had smoked inside before my arrival. By all indications, the $100 deposit is not proving effective in preventing guests from smoking in the room—and the smell was not that of regular cigarettes.

Rooms are very clean it is very accessible to get towels and sheets and other things you may need for the room. Also I stayed here a couple of different times and I left and came back and I was able to keep my bike locked up here it was safe very safe around this property I trust the employees. And it is very affordable to stay here I use hotels.com so I always got a good deal. Overall I get it a five stars

Elevator doesn’t work, got stuck more than once, when we opted to take the some of the stairs are broken at the base which is a huge hazard coming down or going up from the 6th floor carrying items. I had a room with two beds, and one of the beds has something black at the bottom of the sheet, our balcony door did not slide open easy and had to be pushed open with force, bathroom door is way too close to the toilet where you can’t open/close the door all the way, staff was friendly. Pool was not open and looked under construction.

The location was close to airport and very close to the ocean. Was very old and somewhat rundown. The elevator to get up with luggage was difficult to use and was very slow. Once in the room it was small and the bed mattress was worn out with flat pillows.

The air conditioner was only cold. Settings and other functions were not working. The room smelled. The air conditioner was very dirty. It was a very bad experience, we just slept, we got up and left in the morning.

Took grandkids on a mini vacation loved the family suite with private room for adults only thing we were disappointed in was the pool wasn’t ready. it had a great access to the beach. Just wish it had been warmer.

The bathroom was very nice. The room was small but clean. The elevator was not working and I was on the 7th floor. Difficult to lug a 47lb suitcase down the stairs.

Yes the room is very clean and they keep the whole hotel very clean there is a Keurig with delicious Walmart coffee and powder creamer The office opens at 9:00 they are very accommodating. Raymond is the gentleman at the front desk and he is very very friendly a commentating helpful as well as says he the new girl the front desk The maintenance and housekeepers do their jobs excellently they're there every day they go the extra mile.

The property is run down. Our biggest concern was the elevator. It did not work 3 out of 4 times. Our room was on the 4th floor and we had to use the stairs numerous times. We are in our 70's and this was a hardship. The room was okay, clean and everything worked but we will never stay there again.

THE FACILITY WAS VERY CLEAN. STAFF WAS VERY NICE. WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE BEACH. GREAT PRICE FOR THE ACCOMMODATIONS. ICE MAKER NIT WORKING. COFFE MAKER, MICROWAVE, AND FRIGE WERE ALL WORKING WELL AND CLEAN.

The shower itself was clean, but the shower head was broken and only produced a very small stream of water, which made showering frustrating. The balcony doors in our room were blocked shut with a stick, so we weren’t able to go out on the balcony. Even if we had been able to, the balcony itself looked unsafe. The biggest issue, however, was the noise. The family staying below us had several children who began playing hide-and-seek in the hallways around 11:00 PM. There was constant screaming and running up and down the halls until about 2:30 AM. I did call the manager the next day and things improved somewhat, but the following night there were other families being just as loud. Unfortunately, the lack of sleep made the stay miserable and we ended up leaving early because we were completely exhausted. In the end, you really do get what you pay for.

I travel for culinary school from NC to Myrtle Beach Monday-Thursday and I choose to stay here because they treat you like somebody and it feels good knowing I’m safe! For my late night study munches they have a good snack machine and Mt Dew in the side machine my favorite. Don’t even have to take your dirty clothes home dirty cause the washer and dryer work great and $2 a load! Thx Quail!!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room was very neat and clean. However, the property itself was very nasty looking. Smell of pot was strong. My biggest complaint was the elevator was taken out of service when the office closed at night.

I was able to visit a old place I used to go to when I was a kid, and my don’t like I will not de back again.

It’s so quiet down here now that summers gone but sometimes that peace and quiet is just what you need to regroup yourself and clear your mind! After a hard week of working and going to school it’s what I needed! The ladies had cleaned my room and made me a fresh bed to sleep in it’s nice to no that the staff go above and beyond!!

Since I’ve been staying everything and everybody have been great! I’m traveling to attend Culinary School at international culinary college in Myrtle Beach and have all my schoolwork everywhere and there’s pity of room in the Business suite to be able to do that!

ABOVE AND BEYOND!! I stayed in 1 of their business suites and had penalty of room to do all my schoolwork! The room was great it was very clean, had a peak view of the ocean but if your higher up it would’ve been great & overlooking ocean blvd! If you cannot brave the elevator make sure to look at the deep and penetrating rust on the stairs especially on the structural sides of the stairs. Technically the property does have a pool. If you are okay with being in the center of the parking lot. Oh and if you book through anyone but them they charge you $10 per night before they will let you check in.

The futon was a rock. The door didn’t lock. The tv wouldn’t work and didn’t have buttons to turn them on. We had to Google how to program the remotes to them.

Even the main door and sliding glass door were extremely hard to open and close!!! Had to pull up hard just to open and close it. Would never stay there again. Pretty low end area. Very noisy at night.

Overall it was ok. The room reeked of cigarette smoke even tho they claimed to be a non smoking hotel. The couple beside us argued until 4:30 in the morning the first night. Other room beside us ppl was smoking weed & it traveled to our room. Elevator is very suspicious too. Definitely outdated.

Run down, mold in rooms, ceiling leaking. That was the first room got moved to another. There was no mold or ceiling leak in it. There was a hole punched in the door. Elevator is small with no air or fan and we got stuck in it 3 times in 4 days. Hotel is hot except for the rooms itself. Staff is friendly, right across the street to the beach maybe a 2 minute walk if that. Pool is cleaned daily which is nice. Ice machine didn’t work. We was on the 7th floor so when the elevator was down you had to walk all 7 flights of stairs in the heat. Needs updated

1st needed to use restroom when checking in after driving for hours. No bathroom. Elevator no AC, smelly, and felt like a death trap. room was clean, but old. TV didn't work, remote dead. bathroom towels stained/old. At 5am someone pounded on my door. probably wrong room. I called front desk for help & they basically asked me what I wanted them to do. person came back again and tried getting in. I had to scream from my side of the door "WRONG ROOM" People can just wonder onto the property and in the hotel. no locked doors in front or back. Sketchy characters all around the hotel

Unsafe, dirty, scam, security latch busted, a light that never turned off, comically bad. Room was hot all night. Not sure how this hotel has any good reviews. Ended up with one full sized bed when paid $189 for a three queen suite two weeks in advance. $189 for a room that was disgusting and unsafe, put furniture in front of the door before going to bed. Shoes were sticky from walking in there, They tried to cancel our reservation after having spoken to them earlier that day. Confirmed when we would be checking in at midnight (more than once) and they said no problem, then on our way at 11:45pm they called to say they were fully booked. My guess is they sold our room for a higher rate? Leaving us stranded without any options after confirming many times of the check in time, had to literally beg for a room. They found one? said they would refund for the difference in rooms and NEVER refunded the money. Gave the run around. Hotels.com were the ones that finally refunded. The room had a forced entry, broken safety latch, with one FULL sized bed. Seems like the place is a scam? If The pool had no furniture only two plastic chairs. I am really confused how this place had any good reviews. I’ve never left a bad review like this and I’ve stayed at many 1 and 2 star motels. This was really bad. They fully screwed us over

I booked ocean view. I have a view of the hotel across the street. Charged a resort fee which was paid through the booking and I showed them. Their response it’s a different fee. Also charged a $100 deposit. Which in the ad said no deposit. Room dirty with mildew.

Not sure how people gave this an excellent rating. This place is dirty and everything is broken. I had an ironing board in the room with no iron. When i asked front desk, i was told they would get me one and it never happened. Balcony door could barely open and close. It was horrible. Everything about this place was just horrible and im from NYC and definitely not picky..but on a good note, i love myrtle beach.

The property was in poor condition. There were liquor bottles and trash on the stairwell. The upper area smelled like pee. The elevator smelled and seemed dangerous. Our room was on the roof — literally. A plus - it had a beautiful view of the ocean.

Was the room clean, yes but the furniture was broken, and everything looks old and kinda nasty. Please just update the property and get rid of broken furniture. And fix the elevator please!!

Well, what can I say? We got stuck in the elevator, which caused me to have a terrible anxiety attack. We were in an elevator for about 10 minutes. Stuck in a hot elevator. The pool had lots of hair in it. The staff was OK. The room was really good though it didn’t stink, but my main concern was that elevator is very unsafe. The room was clean. The beds were cleaned. The air conditioner worked great and also they told us we had to pull our sheets off of our bed and take our own trash out and set it at the door. And the toilet was stopped up, but I can’t say that they did bring us a plunger we had to plunged ourselves about 20 minutes. They took to bring the plunger because supposedly whoever does that was not there till 9 AM so we had to plunge your own toilet.

This place should be shut down. The elevator gets stuck multiple times a day and wouldn’t even stop on the 6th floor half the time. There was a leak in our ceiling and they refused to refund or to move us to a different room. The plumbing is garbage and the toilet wouldn’t work yet they never sent maintenance up to fix the toilet.

When we arrived to the condo the place was in deplorable condition. The pool was nasty, palmetto bugs EVERYWHERE, manager told me they didnt have a working restroom. "Someone" had came in and did a number on it and it wasnt gonna be fixed. We didnt even check in. Staff was rude and i came for an enjoyable day and it was HELL!

It was a nice room and everything the people that works there are very great. But it was really noisy and we had people kept banging on our hotel doors that was kids that were just staying there

Good affordability with easy beach access

With that being said…… This place is very old very dirty and very out dated. The location has druggies in the parking lot sleeping. The elevator is junk and I got stuck and had to call for help. They walls are paper thin , I walked out after staying one night to find 2 used needles on the ground

It was good and all but once we got in our stove and TV was not working and we could not smoke in the room or balcony but other then that is was ok

Dangerous, nasty, pricey, noisy, bad environment. White stains on the couch, hair in the bed, hair in the bath tub, tissue box with 7 sheets left in it, half roll of used tissue, tv cable channels suck, theres a door in your room that leads to your neighbors room. I had to pay $25 just to get in my already cleaned room, and the biggest surprise i had to pay $100 deposit, for a 1 star place.

Outside less desirable needs updating. Pipes frig all rusty handicapped Ben h mildew however rooms were surprisingly very nice clean was worried when I saw outside. Clerk at front black gentlemen deserves a raise he was the most pleasant and helpful
