Midtown Inn

You really get a bang for your buck here. If you’re on a budget and want a decent hotel at Myrtle Beach and be within a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk and strip this is a pretty good deal. Restaurants, entertainment venues and the Ferris wheel is minutes walking distance. The hotel rooms were tidy and clean and have a cute kitchenette. At night, it’s very quiet and also they have a working swimming pool.

Had a great stay, the staff make you feel at home. Everyone was extremely nice. Great location, walked across the street and was at the beach.

It's terribly noisy

We stayed four days before the big country music festival, so the area was very busy and noisy with workers and vendors setting up right next to the motel. That said, this would be a great place to stay during the festival because of its convenient location. This is an older, dated motel, but to us that just felt like a place where families and travelers have made a lot of happy memories over the years. If you're looking for a luxury, high-end hotel experience, this probably isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in a great location, it fits the bill. Overall, we had a good stay. It's close to everything and just a short walk to the boardwalk. There were a few minor mishaps, but nothing that ruined our trip. We enjoyed our time there and would consider staying again.

Buena localización el hotel no es de lujo si buscas algo para pasar la noche dormir y descansar esta bn pero nada de lujo es un hotel viejo pero como mencione esta en buena localización cerca de la playa caminando llegas comida cerca todo muy cerca y accesible otro detalle con vista al mar significa que estarás en el último piso y no tienen ascensor hay q subir y bajar muchos pisos les recomiendo 1 o 2 piso

The kitchenette was just right for the place. Parking was ok. Check in and out of place was great.

We cleaned our own room. It was pretty nasty, however where else are you going to stay during on season for two nights for $118. The shower had hair all in it. The floors were caked in dirt and sand. Overall, after we cleaned our room it was not a terrible time. NO BUGS were seen so that was definitely a plus. Mattress were not bad either. Its a great place to shower and sleep for the night. Size wise, room was small but two beds fit well. Stand up shower worked as it should. Mini fridge did not get the coolest. Staff was friendly. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Decent room for the price. Was a last minute decision to stay an extra night in Myrtle and they were available. Was impressed. We will stay here again

If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel, that’s not what you’ll find here. But for what it is, I give it 5 stars. Budget friendly, close to the beach and walking distance to food and shopping. Rooms were clean despite the dated furniture. Our toilet was running, but shower had great water pressure. Looks like the pool was just being opened, so we didn’t get in. It’s clear that the owners and staff care about the properties, plenty of outdoor seating, giant checkers available, and even some pool floats. I would stay again for a short visit (because no kitchen).

Good cheap place to stay right by the beach. Definitely a sketchy clientele and you don’t get much amenities with the room. When the uber dropped us off I thought we were in the wrong place. At least it was clean.

Although the pool was out for 3 days (emptied, cleaned, repainted and seating replaced) it didn't take long with all that they did.

Inside the rooms the floors are literally disgusting. I had to leave my room but Clorox to clean up before I would let anyone using it cleanliness: 1/10. I was scared to take my shoes off.

Other than that not being stated until we arrived the stay was alright… close to the beach and you get what you pay for.

On a tight budget, room was ok, the light switch near the bed stopped working, no land line phone, the parking lot wasn't that great, couldn't use the pool because the motor wasn't working, not sure if I would stay here again but I guess if you are on tight budget and want to stay in Myrtle Beach without spending a small fortune for a room it will suffice..

Pictures on the website does not match what the facility actually looks like. No staff member on the premises. The outside of property looks junkyard style. Pools were nasty. The location horrible. Noise all night long.

The location to the strip and beach was great. However, the pool was closed the first 2/3 days we were there. The towels were very little and most of them had stains on them. The room wasn’t cleaned very well (there was sand and dirt on the ground that could’ve been swept up). All these things to say that we didn’t have high expectations in the first place considering the price.

The staff was very accommodating. The only thing to mention, the shower floor is very slick. If our room was marked "Handicap" there were no grab bars.

Our first room smell so BAD, the beds, the AC was not working, the microwave was not working, we were moved to another room and the smell to cigarette and WEED was to strong.

You get what you pay for. Pictures with filters don't tell or show the true property. I was sadly disappointed when I arrived.

The ad looks lot different than the rooms and property and no balcony no view unless you walk to the beach I was mis informed about the location of that motel no elevator on the ad ocean front what I want it with a balcony next time i stay at hotel I know about

The rating was misrepresented by Trivago at above seven, but I wouldn’t even give it a four. There were three middle of the night incidents, one of which were the police got called to quell the situation. Initially, we were put on the fourth floor, but there’s no elevator, so we switched to the first floor, but the room was in the back facing away from the ocean, and the only way to get there was across a sandy dirt lawn area. The bathroom was remodeled well and the room was clean, but the bed was very lumpy and overall it is not a place to sleep.

Parking was great, location is awesome. And it is very clean. Very happy with my stay there. The coffee machine lacked some sort of filter so we couldn't use if, it was our last morning there so I didn't even ask staff maybe they would fix it (no phone in room to call them). But fir the price those are pretty acceptable things.

This place was clean and safe. The location is very close to the beach, but NOT on the beach. It is 2 streets away, but still convienent. There are a few small charcoal grills and a small pool. This is a much older facility, but VERY clean and maintained.

Pictures on hotel sites are not anything like the property looks. 1. Rooms are small 2. Beds are not comfortable 3. Microwave was not clean 4. Floor in bathroom and kitchen was so dirty. Do not walk around room without shoes. 5. Pool was dirty and very small 6. You heard every sound from every room, outside included. Walkway is very small and each room has chairs outside so if someone was sitting they had to get up for you to walk by. 7. Lots of construction in area. 8. Doesn’t seem all that safe of an area 9. There are signs everywhere that say no smoking! Only allowed downstairs at tables. Well no one follows this rule! Everywhere you walked smelled like an ashtray! We turned on bathroom vent and was overwhelmed by the smell. People standing by their rooms smoking. 10. It was seems to be a party place people drinking, dragging chairs, being loud at night. Smoking marijuana right on walkway in front of room. Not to mention the male cleaning staff was also smoking while they were cleaning rooms?? How can it be no smoking if cleaning staff is smoking in room. I will not stay again! Very disappointed! Beware! Don’t believe pictures you see or reviews posted they can’t all be legit after what I experienced. I also had other friends staying because we were in town for an event. You will see their review soon!!

Had issues but loved location

The location was great being close to the beach and the boardwalk. Decent place to stay if you don’t care about look and feel. The property itself looked rundown. Small kitchenette. No closet. Pool area is small but quiet. Not too bad for the price and convenience.

Suited the needs was looking for, reasonable priced place to stay before our group showing up few days later arrived.

Location is perfect. We walked to everything for our entire stay - breakfast, lunch, dinner, shopping, beach, bars, etc. When we checked in, our room had a leak. Randy in the office was very nice and moved and upgraded our room immediately. We would visit again!

The location is in walking distance to the beach and you can see the ocean from the motel. The staff were very nice. The room needed to be mopped. The pool looked inviting, but it was too cold for us to get in. Overall, we were very pleased with our experience at Midtown Inn. The rooms are non-smoking, but picnic tables and chairs are provided outside which was really nice.

I have nothing much to say about the property itself, it’s as expected which is a pretty decent property. Definitely suggest staying if you want clean property, unpaid parking, good staff and a nice pool area.

This place is a great bang for your buck! The staff were friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. It’s just a short walk to the beach! We had a very pleasant stay! The only thing I would have changed was more pillows but that is just a personal preference to have 2 for myself so I swiped the extra one from my daughter’s bed.

Really dated rooms.

We arrived later than expected due to travel delays, after the office had closed, but they made things easy by leaving our key, parking pass, and clear instructions in a lockbox. We were able to settle everything the next morning, which we really appreciated after a long drive. Our original room had a bathroom leak, but they addressed it right away by moving us and upgrading us without any hassle. The second room was more comfortable and included a small kitchenette with dishes, a stove, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. They also honored our request for a first-floor room, which was important for mobility reasons, even after the room change. The location is great, within walking distance to the beach, with plenty of parking. The pool looked clean, although we didn’t use it. There was some nighttime noise and thin walls, but that’s fairly typical for beach properties. Overall, we appreciated how quickly they handled issues and made sure we were comfortable. Their customer service really stood out.

Good: free, secluded parking with tags. Staff is polite and helpful. Not so good: property is old and showing its age. Shortage of cleaning staff makes it dingy. It’s 4 floor hotel without elevator, and is leaking at all places including washroom.

A place can be old but be a good place to stay. Not this one . Room wasn’t clean. Appliances needed replacing. Staff was friendly. They( midtown) was painting the place while I was there. But I don’t know if they were going to address anything else. You get what you pay for in some cases.

The linens were clean but the rest of the room was not. I was hoping to be able to save some money by using the in room kitchen but it was honestly disgusting. Our room also had a lingering smell of cigarettes, it was bad enough that everything that came with us had to be washed when we got home because our stuff smelled like cigarettes.

Everything in the room was very old. The toaster started producing smoke as soon as we turned it on. Didn't check any other appliances, but they looked very old. The refrigerator, however, worked well.

Location is perfect for access to the boardwalk and downtown area. Staff is so nice and helpful. Don’t let the old exterior fool you- room was nice inside and had everything we needed during our week long stay. Love this motel- will come again

I'm from San Diego CA and spent the weekend in S.C. and V.A. For the price this place is great. If you're used to staying at name brand hotels and you spend more time in the room than out exploring this might not work for you. Our room faced the beach but wasn't on the beach which was good because it was a little quieter. You could sit outside and see the sunrise/set or just open the curtains and see if from the bed in the room. We booked a double room with kitchenette. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was clean, there was a small kitchen, an eating area for 4 and a small mounted tv on the wall. The bedding was a little worn but it was clean and felt fresh. There was ample parking and a pool that looked clean but we didn't utilize it because we were short on time. We checked in around 5pm and front desk agent that checked us in was very polite and knowledgeable of the area and gave us some good suggestions on what to see since we were only staying for one night. The hotel is within walking distance of some of the main attractions like the Beach, SkyWheel and the boardwalk which were both fun and if you're old enough and don't have kids with you there was local bar called the Browery which was a chill place to end the night at and within walking distance. The area felt very safe, we walked back to the room around 2am with no issues. It's about a 10 minute drive to The Broadway/Promenade which was also a fun spot.

We had difficult weather the pools were not opened. This is a perfect hotel for low income persons and very courteous employees. I plan to return in a couple weeks. Older furniture but clean/stable!!!

It was ok but no elevator and they want to charge you to put you on the lower floor. This should not be done to someone that is older or with disability. It is a sketchy area but I only was there a total of 5 hours took a shower with shower shoes as the shower was in rough shape. Bed was comfy and no creepy crawlys

The property and surrounding area was quite unattractive. My "ocean view" in my room was about two blocks away from the water. Attractions were within walking distance. The owner had lots of rules which showed he cared about the property.

Was fine. Oceanview. The only thing was that the toilet ran,slowly, the whole time. Took a bit for the shower to warm up. Not big problems; just an extra expense of water for them.

It reeked of cigarettes smoke which gives us instant headaches. We left and never stayed there. The staff was very nice to leave our key after they had to go home for the night but unfortunately we didn’t use the room.

I was a solo 18 y/o female traveling through SC (I was 15 hrs from home), and I never felt unsafe. The staff were super friendly too! It was a great location, less than 5 minutes from the boardwalk which I loved!!

I asked the early-morning desk clerk if it was possible to get a refund for the two unused nights. He fumbled around for a while and then asked me to call someone else at the hotel he said would be in later. I took my wife to get medical attention. I called later and was told I needed to speak to "Randy" about the refund. I was told he'd be in later. I called later and he wasn't in. I went ring-around-the-rosy on this for a few days (at one point the clerk promised to have "Randy" call me -- he never did). I eventually gave up. I figured they must have needed the $220 more than I did.

There were no elevators so since I’m disabled I asked for a ground floor. I had to pay an extra 25.00 for that. A shame disabled people have to pay extra.

FOUND BEDBUGS! Checked out early & are still waiting on a response from the hotel on a refund. We do not have photos; have videos though.

After returning home, I spent two full days washing and cleaning all the clothes, bags, shoes, and even the inside of my car that I had used at the hotel. Even now, I am stressed and anxious, worrying that bed bugs might have been brought into my home. The bites all over my body are still itchy.

The location was great, this is a 60’s hotel showing her age, room was clean, hot water, felt safe. If in the area again I would stay here, great for price.

This place was horrible! There was a rat hole behind the bed. No shower curtain in the room, the air conditioner looked like it had not been cleaned in years! The floor looked clean but when you walked on it your socks were filthy! The 2nd night the light in the kitchenette area would not come on and it was dripping water! This place needs to be bulldozed like the others around it have been. It ruined our stay at Myrtle Beach where we will NEVER come again!

The only issues I had was my neighbors smoke, outside but I could still smell it. The water pressure sucks, making it very hard for me to wash my hair. Over all a very pleasant stay, I would definitely stay here again. It’s very close to the beach!

Aside from the noise and cleanliness issues, everything else was okay. But I wouldn’t stay here again. Even for the price, peace and basic cleanliness should be standard.

Great place, great vibes, nice staff. Seriously if you're looking for an inexpensive place to stay that's close to everything everything the strip has to offer, this is the place. Would definitely stay there again.

Steve and I really enjoyed the property and the staff. Randy was amazing and Jimmy and Leslie were fantastic!!!!! They made our stay comfortable and perfect! The rooms are great, clean and beautiful! I highly recommend staying here! Kudos y'all from Tennessee and Virginia!

Very friendly staff. Room wasn’t ready when we got there so I told them it was okay we’d go look around for about 30 minutes and come back. Beds in this particular room need to be replaced very very springy sounding. But convenient to have stove etc in unit. Within walking distance of beach and close to the sky wheel and everything close to that. Looks like they’re tearing down everything around it, hope they don’t block the view from outside balcony if they do build in front of it. Wouldn’t matter about back side where there’s not really a view. Turned out it was bike week, but the bikers there were older and very respectful, they usually stay at that location. Only thing I’d complain about is the chairs on balcony, while looked comfortable needed a good cleaning, had stains all over them. The TV volume had to be turned up to around 32 or more to be able to even hear it, while most people go to beach to be at beach not watch TV, that’s not me. But my best friend and her sons love the beach. Needless to say I’d stay here again because for the price you can’t beat it. Very reasonable

The room I stayed in was cozy. The outside wasnt your typical look but it was quiet. I was hoping to have a oceanfront but it wasnt on the ocean but only 2 blocks away. The staff was very nice and had grat customer service skills. They accommodated us very well.

Not really a pet area, and the pool looked/stayed clean everyday and the staff was friendly. The hotel was within walking distance of the beach as well as the boardwalk, and not far from broadway at the beach, and other popular tourist attractions.

The staff is very accomadating. The hotel was built in the 40's which provides plaster walls that keep the noise level room to room and outside to a minimum. The kitchenette has everything you need to prepare grilled, baked and microwave meals. Towels, face clothes, soap and dish towels are replenished immediately as you use them. Outstanding and pleasantly surprised as the location is 1 block back from the beach but has views from the front rooms.

Check in was easy, very quite and beach is at seeing distance. Room was clean and bathroom was stocked with towls, unlike many hotels that only give you two.

Location was good building was run down key didn’t work well in the door blankets were stained no shampoo conditioner or body wash in shower no hand towels no soap holder

There was black mold and pink mildew in the shower, tooth paste on the walls in the bathroom, puke on a chair, the floors were disgusting. When I expressed my disgust (respectfully) all I got was "I'm sorry ma'am, we didn't know it was that bad."

Built in 1972, Midtown is one of the few landmark family owned local motels. I stayed there one night to reconnect with my childhood. I was not disappointed. It is in the heart of Myrtle Beach and has retained that precious vibe of yesteryear. Just good friendly people who care about every customer. The place is a simple, basic motel with the amenities you need, including a small kitchen. It is clean and secure. There is coffee in office but you can't get to it in the morning since the office is closed. Just steps to the ocean, I would stay again.

My husband stayed there overnight to enjoy fishing, but the air conditioner wasn’t working, so it was too hot, and he couldn’t sleep properly.

The place is filthy. I paid $143.00 and preferred to loose the money rather than stay there. It's a building from the 50s that is rundown and dirty. Four floors and no elevators. I was fooled by the good reviews on Expedia. I reserved an ocean view and got a city view. But that doesn't really matter because there are buildings in front of the ocean facing side. Do not go there unless you like dirty $20 a night roadside motels charging five times that. They tried to charge me $25 more for a room on the first floor after the reservation. That's when I found out that there are no elevators. I am fit and don't care about no elevators but they should let you know before you reserve.

My stay was good. The location was excellent close to the event I attended, walking distance to the beach.

This is a basic Hotel that's convenient to everything in Myrtle Beach No Elevator so expect stairs also the rooms are basic as they come the best thing is the TV that's about it for the money u won't find anything that compares Its definitely doable and I will definitely stay there again If I attend Waves Of Praise because it directly across the street from it!

It wasn't the cleanest, but not the worst. Located close to the boardwalk.

It was a good hotel for a last minute trip. The room was clean for the most part except that there was food crumbs in the drawers and the coffee pot was dirty. The bathroom was clean but the water pressure for the shower was so low. Hotel was close to the beach and stores so we just walked for the most of our stay.

Staff here are all really sweet and wonderful! Just had a few instances that were a little scary. Like the people next to our room smashing thier whole window of their room out, glass everywhere, police and staff questioning us. The woman claiming to not know the suspicious man walking around her room. It was definitely not the best experience.

STAY AWAY! Dirty, old, unmaintained motel. Upon check in, the front desk clerk advised me they do not provide any cleaning services durring your stay, they only will swap out towels and they need a days advance notice... When we got up 4 flights of stairs as there's no elivator, we found our shower had not been cleaned after the last guests. There was a quarter and soap goo on the shelf and long hair on the floor. The place smelled dirty, the AC is old and dusty, some cups were dirty in the caninets, the side table light wasnt plugged in, moved it and found old spilled coffed underneath, there were only a two maybe three outlets. The door doesn't have a prooper seal so the AC was useless and our room was humid. There were also large holes in their blackout curtains.

This is in my favorite part of Myrtle Beach. I thoroughly enjoyed our few days here. Plan on staying there again.

First off, its a motel and not a hotel. Make sure you have low expectations when booking here. We booked for three days. After the second day we had such a horrible experience that we chose to leave one day early. There was hair on the shower wall and hair in the wash clothes. We didnt know prior to arriving that the grassy area beside the motel was being used for a two day concert. The concert was so loud that you could barely hear the TV at full volume and had to yell to talk to my wife. The sound check music went on till 10 the first night and the concert went on till 10:30pm. During the night we heard people yelling and cussing, about to fight, and heard people that woke us up several times throughout the night. After the second night we checked out at 7:30am and requested a refund for the night that we werent staying. After two days of being passed between six people we were told that we should have been okay with the concert because it was Gospel music and that they checked the cameras for our floor only and didnt see anyone (as if sound can't travel beyond a single floor). We were also told that even if we did hear the yelling, its the beach and people come here to have fun. I was in MB for an event and my wife was using the room to hang out while I was in the event, but she felt too unsafe to stay. In all, I can only assume that the owners realize how horrible a place they have and are hanging on to every penny they can scam from customers.

The staff is extremely courteous and professional. We enjoyed time with them talking about the area. Very informative; they made you feel welcomed and 'part of the family'. Thank you.

Very, very noisy!!! ,- door does not shut tight, allows all noises to enter. Did not get much sleep during our stay. It seemed under staffed. No staff between 10 pm- 8 am.

The area was so convenient and close to the beach. The only staff we interacted with were nice. We were told we could buy drinks in 114 but it was locked majority of our stay. You had to use your room key to unlock it and only once was the deadbolt not locked. The key only works the knob not the deadbolt. The hotel was clean and maintained and the staff worked on the area outside constantly. But the activities around the yard are old and look weathered. It is an older hotel. The air conditioner did not cool the room much (making it hard to sleep or get comfortable) and the beds are hard. There is very little water pressure and it made showering a lot longer process. We were on the 4th floor and there's no elevator. All in all it was a good stay and I'd stay again if I need to. I would give the location 10 stars. It's less than a block to literally anything you could need.

I usually don’t have a problem with the hotels that I’ve stayed in. I didn’t like the way the hotel looked in person it didn’t look anything like the photos that they advertised on the website. There was mold on the ceiling and on the lamp shades. I paid extra for the ocean view, I was told that the hotel was beachfront and it wasn’t, it was 2 blocks away from the beach. You could see the ocean from the hotel. The pictures also showed a full kitchen and a large fridge and that was also a lie. Me and my family were really disappointed with our stay. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel. 😡😤

It was good to stay over for a night. Clean inside. Building outside was a bit weathered. Pool could be cleaned more often (could use a robo pool vacuum). Was at the outskirt of MB but close to everything.

HORRIBLE hotel. Everything is old. Everything stinks. It stinks of sewage, the pool is dirty and apparently you can get infected in it... the territory is located not badly. But! from staying in this place you probably will not want to visit this city again! The cleaning in the room is disgusting. Dirt and sand everywhere. The bed linen is relatively clean. The air conditioner can't cope because it's very old! We had a reservation for 3 days. But we left after the first night!!!

Look, I'm gonna be honest, I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights for less than 1100. So i wasnt expecting the four seaons or anything. And overall, the hotel wasnt awful. The beds and bathrooms were clean, and the super tiny "kitchenettes" had clean dishes. But, the floors were gross. My 10 month old grandson was crawling around in my older daughters room as they were getting settled and his knees were black. Like really dirty. And the pool was more of an aqua green color than the blue it looks in the pictures and the baby pool/hot tub(?) sized pool was completely unuseable. Idk if id stay here again, but i also cant say I absolutely wouldnt. The staff was nice. The towel exchange was easy, and overall, we got what we needed out of the stay. If I was keith lee, I'd give it a 5.9 out of ten.

The staff was nice, but needs lots of updating . Circuit breaker should be protected with saftey cover. They need to get cleaner towels, wash all bed covers including the skirt of the beds. They have mold on their cellings i became sick because of it. Also I had to take a shower with my shoes on.

We stayed in the upstairs seahorse cottage for a week. We loved it! We had a fantastic time. The cottage was perfect for my family. Everything was in walking distance and my kids loved the pool. We will be returning and would love to book the same cottage next July 4th again. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cottage was clean and the AC worked great. The kitchen does have slim supplies but still everything I needed to make meals daily. Thanks Midtown for an awesome stay!

So we weren't in the room a lot but it was very dated and musty smelling. the furniture was very stained and dirty so we just kept it covered with the sheets that they did supply. They wanted us to get our own towels from the office and take our used ones back to the office. The pictures were nothing like the room. The view was amazing we were by the beach and when we sat on our porch it was quiet and we had the whole courtyard to ourselves which was amazing Donna the housekeeper was attentive and very very welcoming she talked with us every night she made sure we were comfortable she made our stay very enjoyable. A 10 minute walk from the Atlantic ocean, Ocean Blvd. And amenities. Midtown Inn used to be right next to the Historic Pavilion and Pavilion amusement park, please watch a YouTube video of the old pavilion and Amusement Park if you are not familiar with MB history. We brought bicycles, as MB is a bike friendly area. We were in MB for the week at Ripken baseball a 15 minute car ride up an down 10th Ave (aka Mr Jos White Ave). A 30 min bike ride to Ripken. Night life and entertainment is MUCH more vibrante around the motel and off ocean Blvd then off Hwy 17. Many older motels are coming down the city has a revitalization plan. Long live the memories made at Midtown!

We never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get help (THANK YOU! :). The room had the basics: bed, dresser, side tables, TV, mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. There was a small clothing hook in the corner that could hold 5 garments if needed. Note: bring your own iron or steamer if you need things like that. The walls are paper thin, so I would recommend it to couples and groups of friends that are there on a budget, definitely not light sleepers. The Decor was cute and beachy and The room looked like it was recently renovated. Now, the LOCATION! We were able to walk to the beach and boardwalk in about 5-10 minutes, and less than a 10 minute drive for places to eat and things to do away from the strip. The area felt pretty safe, as it was a common destination for everyone visiting. I would stay there again, I really enjoyed my stay.

I stayed in the cottages which were clean and didn’t have any major issues. The front desk staff were always very friendly and helpful. The location is close to the boardwalk and beach which is great considering the price range. The bathroom was clean but the shower was short and most people would need to bend down to wash their hair.

Called the week before our visit to confirm our cottage - when we arrived they had bumped us from our cottage to a standard hotel room - no communication. That by itself was inexcusable with no affordable alternatives and most.other hotels sold out. I appreciate mgmt getting a newly acquired cottage ready for us, but there were roaches and flys in the property and no wifi available so i could not work in fhe evenings as was my intent. Mgmt should have moved the visitors they bumped us for in the othwr property and honored their commitment to us - i will return to myrtle beach to be sure, but will not be giving this property my return business - very disappointing and handled completely wrong

Six beds and a couch, had plenty of room with a full working Kitchen. I will be renting this place again!!!

great office staff helpful . quick check in.. greatloaction close to beach, restaurants and activities. Needs a little TCL paint .. I would return

I thought I paid for the room drove all the way up to the beach and the man had an attitude and was saying he didn’t get it and didn’t have any rooms but there were rooms open

The overall family necessities provided was perfect. Our entire family members got to stay over. I love that the cottage had dishware. the location is great, munutes from tge beach and stores. The locals did not bother us. Parkinv was right in front of us.

The location was perfect for going out. Easily within walking distance of a lot of restaurants.

The area was great as far as walking distance to beach, stores, and entertainment. The cleanliness of the cottage wasn’t the best and the picture was a little deceiving as far as the couch is in 1 of the bedrooms and is extra bedding. I thought there was an actual living room as well. Overall I would PROBABLY stay there again only because of its location,

Would not recommend this place. The pictures online are deceiving. This place is located in an area with drug sales and prostitution. I was sitting on the porch with my granddaughter and witnessed one prostitute attack another prostitute. A lot of shady people hanging around as well.

My sister and I stayed here in Starfish 4. It was clean and the folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. There was no wifi though. They should stop advertising that it has free wifi as one of the workers said they never get wifi. Otherwise it was super close to the boardwalk and easy access out to 17 to get to other areas. Airconditioner worked well but was pretty loud. Interesting locals come out after dark - we didn't venture out after dark.

The staff at midtown were gracious, understanding and kind. Friendly from the moment we walked in the door. We were able to walk to almost anything we wanted to do. The room was clean and served its purpose. Anything i needed to cook on was there. If you can get past some of the beach bums lingering around you will love it here. We will come back again!!!!

First, it is in a really bad part of town even though it is only two blocks away from the beach. Would have been nicer if it was on the beach. Secondly, we paid for a room with a kitchen/dinning room and free WiFi. When we got there and checked in our room was just a really small bedroom with a small bathroom and we did not have WiFi all week long. We also have never got our refund back that they said we would in 2-7 business days. I would not recommend staying here at all. You are better off paying more for a hotel or condo on the beach.

The evenings were filled with people watching from our balcony. There were some undesirable sights after dark, however, the local police patrolled the area very routinely, so I never felt unsafe or at risk.

Such a great location to stay! We had a few downs though. We went through hotels.com and our room was never confirmed with the hotel so when we got there it took forever. Please remember this was not the fault of the hotel itself.
