First off the surprise fee for parking was uncalled for, if you pay ove $1000 for a stay parking should be free. The lazy river stayed yellow and dirty all 3 days, the pool was very dirty on the third day. Some outlets in the room didn't work. Only 1 remote for 2 tvs.

The pictures of the property are deceiving. The property is outdated and dirty. This is a place for young people on spring break who just need a place to crash. Very disappointing and will not go back.

It was pretty nice; the pool was dirty both inside and the outside one. Our blow dryer did not work at all, and the beds were hard to me. But overall will only come back for a short stay.

My room was clean and looked recently remodeled. We did have an Ocean front room. Not sure why so many bad reviews about this property. Our A/C unit was not working when we arrived so we called the front desk and within an hour they had installed a brand new A/C unit. Everything was great. We are not to hard to please. Great stay at Hotel Blue. The only thing negative would maybe be all the pot smell around the property but that's because of the guests. We did stay during biker week. Overall it was a great stay.

Room was clean. Rooms need updating furniture worn and mismatched. The three different types of tiles made it look dingy Pool had hair and stuff floating in the water. Staff watched my brother in law grab the skimmer bag and clean the pool. He asked them if pump was on because there was minimal skimmer movement. Direct dumping of liquid chlorine into lazy river by staff shows signs of issues. Good thing it was beachfront and we could swim in the ocean.

Staff is working hard on doing updates to rooms and a fresh look. Room 1408 great views and clean and fresh.The fridge seal is leaking and they needed to clean top of cabinets and headboards of beds. Great price quality and stay. I will book again.

Our room was standard double queen. We requested "ocean view" thinking we would be looking at the ocean. Instead we were looking directly at the hotel next door. The description of the hotel boasts about a swim up bar, but we did not see a bartender once during our 6 day stay - of which we spent every evening in the hot tub out by the pool. And that hot tub is disgusting! It's just filthy. The hotel next door is where you will want to stay instead. They had a party by the pool every night- which I had a clear view of from my "ocean view" balcony.

The room was clean. The staff was nice. Beach view was excellent! Did not use the pool because it needed a print job…the pool ground looked dirty and it wasn’t appealing to me. The lobby needs a print job and new furniture. It was dark and gloomy! I would not book that Hotel again…it gave me and my husband the blues!!!

I would not recommend this hotel, especially if you are accustomed to the standards of Hilton or Hampton Inn properties. The only positive thing I can say is that the location was great.

And the manager? She came out looking like she walked straight off Little House on the Prairie—except way less put together—with a nasty attitude to match. It took her forever to even come address my concerns, and when she finally did, she was dismissive and rude. She offered another room like that would fix anything—absolutely not. If the first impression is that bad, there’s no way I’m trusting anything else in that building. The outside was just as bad. The parking lot looked filthy and neglected, with strange black marks on the walls that honestly made the whole place feel unsafe and unclean. I refused to stay and asked for a refund, and they still wouldn’t give me my money back. That tells you everything you need to know!

Not a great view- the parking lot! Even though we checked in during the week and there wasn't hardly any guests, we were pu5 on the 5th floor instead of the 1st. Also, the parking garage is the way into your room. You drive into the right floor and you park in front of the room door. Kinda weird.

Nice pool area with swim up bar. Loved that we could park our car next to our room… did not know we would have to pay to park. A/C in bedroom is quite noisy.

We stayed at the property for Spring Break. Very affordable but Checking in felt “inconvenient” to the employee. She didn’t even crack a smile, she was talking so low and had an accent I could barely comprehend what her questions. When I asked to repeat she made me feel as if it were such a problem. Pool was nice, overseeing the ocean you could see the building is older. The halls had a bad stench. We did make the best of it and had a fun family trip. 50/50 on if I’d stay again but price wise, very affordable.

Overall, the space felt neglected and unsanitary. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, and this property failed to meet even that standard. I would not recommend staying here.

Everything was convenient. Over priced and The pricing at the time of booking does not include all the information needed for the extra fees. Not enough pool space and the pool didn’t go up to 6ft for adults only was 3ft and dirty

Beds are in a lower quality level and wall bed is very uncomfortable. Staff are friendly but there is no care or restaurant neither is there any bar. There is small counter space selling coffee.

Everything was good but the price. I thought I was offered the best price on hotels.com then the day of my trip y’all lowered the price of my room by 50.00. Would’ve been nice to receive that price to help cover the $15.00 a day parking that wasn’t mentioned.

This is always our go to with the kids 2 or 3 times a year. Hotel Blue never fails us. We did go a week before actual spring break for Myrtle Beach so we missed out on alot since the season hadn't started and many things closed within the hotel but we still loved our stay!

I stayed in 326, the stay was horrible from start to end. After checking in around 10:30pm the key wouldn’t open the room door. 1st Maintenance man had an attitude, 2nd guy was great. Heat in bedroom wasn’t working so no one was able to sleep in bedroom because it was too cold. Balcony door off track in sitting area. Hair dryer did not work. Tv channels did not match guide channels. Jacuzzi was dirty 1st day with no water the 2nd day. Inside pool had the top open up the whole time while cold and windy making kids cold and sick. I doubt I’ll be returning!

The room/bathroom and balcony were clean and very comfortable!! The housekeeping staff were kind, hospitable and on point I never had to wait for what I needed or ask twice! With basic necessities covered such as a microwave and small refrigerator. I was also very impressed with the guest laundry room they had it was very convenient, so make sure you bring laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets. They had multiple pools and a lazy river and a hot tub which I did not use because it was too cold. This particular area is very nice and well maintained from what I saw. It would’ve been nice if they had beach chairs for guests. Things that I did not like were that the lobby was closed and I being an out of towner, had a hard time finding the location of where I needed to go to register and the lobby was closed my entire stay. So if you needed something you had to walk somewhere else. The customer service was basically “sorry but you’re on your own”. So be prepared for that. Also after you book the room you will get notification of a $250 hold on your card which is refundable or a fee of 39.99$(not refunded)for a deposit for any damage done to your room. If you don’t have either you will have spent all that money and still not get a room so include that in your spending money budget. But overall, I would recommend this place for others to go. It’s literally gorgeous and peaceful and and relaxing and a very nice time once you know what to expect!

They let me book a room that wasn’t open. If the entire hotel is closed don’t have it as an option to book. I drove all the way (4 and a half hours) to nowhere to go. I didn’t get my money back and ended up spending double at a different hotel because it was late.

Rooms were very dated and dingy for the price. Floors were slimy and slippery. Everything was old and hasn't been updated for quite some time. We actually paid for 2 nights and ended up leaving after the first night.

First every time I had contact with the front desk the associate didn’t seem to care. The rest of the staff were great and seemed to care about our stay. Our first morning there was about a 30 second power outage, but it took till early evening till the tv came back. Not a big deal bc we didn’t spend the day in the room. We did enjoy our stay.

This property is not what it looks like online!! Its is very old, dated and dirty! No restaurant or any food offered at hotel! The only bar is the pool bar which closes at 5 pm. And the service is terrible and bar is dirty! Front desk service is terrible, its obvious as soon as you check in that they could care less about customer services! I won't stay here again by any means!

I also had to either put up a $250 deposit that I'll get back 3-5 days after I check out or buy a ins policy for $40 for damages. How many ppl go to the beach and tear up there room? You would expect with all the deposits and ins policies that the room would be in great shape, again not the case. There was holes all over the walls, the TVs are old and what I call dumb TVs, couldn't call the frt desk for anything because the phone didn't work in the room, and finally it's a good place to stay if you wanna smell weed and get a contact high from the ppl in the rooms around you that are smoking weed and getting high.

The indoor bar/ breakfast is closed. I qas given dirty towels the manager send up free breakfast coupons for a nearby place and got even more dirty towels. People left their balcony doors open causing loud howling sounds. The local pizza places aggressively place flyers in your door a million times a day making it sound like someones trying to break in the way they slide it into the door jam. If you need an elevator you have to wait 5 minutes everytime. The building is confusing to navigate.

We have to leave a day earlier then we book we lost money because it not a very good room my kids started not to feel comfortable and the night before we leave there was an incidents where a young women running and screaming for her life inside the hotel. Over all it isnt what they charged it. The price they charged they need to lower it or get more attendant or pay attention. I paid nearly 1400 for 6 days plus 180 for parking again they should have provide this for the amount they charged for the room. And lastly they charged nearly 1400 i cant even get house keeping to exchange towel or clean the room. Most hotel they clean your room daily if you wanted or once every two days. Staff over all is horrible...

Pictures are decieiving. Hotel is run down, dirty out dated. Employees at front desk so miserable hating life and their job. Highly reccomend looking elsewhere, rooms are small, carpet filthy, hair in bathroom from apparently previous guest. Stay away.

The view was fantastic. The room was very nice and clean , the problem was room was very damp from humidity, floor was actually wet from humidity, staff that answered checkout call was bad , no personality, should be replaced , gives hotel bad vibe when it is a great place

Oceanfront was amazing

Great rooms. Nice and clean. The beds weren’t to comfortable but that’s a chance you take anywhere. Pool was nice and cleaned daily.

Bed uncomfortable. Rented premium ocean view and barely could see the ocean.

Cockroaches in the staircase, patio doors that do not open easily. Need to be repaired. Pots and pans are garbage. Weird noises throughout the night. Dirty floors. Stained linens. Sticky counters and appliance handles.

The hotel was adequate for the oceanfront proximity and views. However the loud dj at the pool was not to our liking. And sitting on the balcony was uncomfortable as there was cigarette ash floating down onto me. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The garage parking is scary to say the least. But booking within the week and for a couple nights I really can’t complain. The price was right and I caught the best sunrise and sunset from the oceanfront balcony. I could see the family down at the pool and out at beach. We were really close to everything as far as restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Hotel is actually a motel. Deadbolts have been deactivated. (I had maintenance come up to see why it didn’t work). VERY DIRTY! Every part of the hotel was dirty. The rooms, the hallways, the pool area, etc. The cafe, including coffee, was not open the entire week. The pool bar closed at 5pm. I would not recommend this hotel, especially because the price is ridiculously high for the poor condition it is in.

Good quick getaway experience

It was dirty. Furniture was old. Furniture was dingy. Marijuana use in public areas such as entrance to the pool. Exit to the beach in the lazy river. Which was extremely dirty. It looked brownish green. A little cleaner, but I dare not get in it. Can enjoy your balcony because all you smell is marijuana the entire time. Beach access is not secure. Anyone can access from the beach. Pool bar that they advertise was only open one day for five hours. Coffee bar at the advertise, it was never open and it’s a sign up stating not slated to open anytime soon. Hotel staff not friendly. The best part about this hotel was the parking if you are good at bumper cars making those terms in and out of the lot. But the parking is attached to the hotel so that is a plus and the only plus of the hotel at $12 a day. I had a one bedroom suite with a partial ocean view, which was seeing the ocean off to the left of the balcony. The view was fair but again you can’t enjoy it because of the drug use the living room furniture was so bad I wouldn’t even put my luggage on it let alone sit on it. Lighting in the hotel was horrible. The hotel room was very dark. There were random lamps scattered around in odd places, and even with all of them on it was still very dark. The bathroom was extremely tight. You stepped out of the shower and you were in the toilet, no exaggeration.

Hotel blue check in was a disaster. We were put in the wrong room and it took them 4 hours to get us in the right room. Mind you we had reservations. No room service, you had to beg for towels, fridge door was broken and the balcony door was broken. I will never stay there again

The hotel was a great stay however the fact that had to pay for parking per day additional to the price of room seemed ridiculous.

I don’t understand why this hotel says “top ten swim up bar in the US” It literally looks like a dump. Expensive drinks for no reason and closes at 5pm. Also, I feel like they need to have more security around. There were people dancing nasty, on top of that kids are there watching! There was vomit on the side of the pool for hours and no one there to clean it up. One of the lights that goes inside of the pool was just hanging out of the pool, super dangerous! Also when we got to our actual room, the toilet was overflowing, the bathroom looked like a pool & they were not able to give us a new room, they just had a maintenance guy fix it and he cleaned up the toilet water with their towels! That’s disgusting if you ask me. I was ready to get out of there the minute I walked in, but obviously didn’t because I paid my hard earned money. Terrible vacation sadly.

To be honest, I almost not even did a review because my experience was not up to par. Safe to say that I won’t be staying at this hotel again. The hotel had decent amenities but the customer service as terrible from check in to housekeeping not bringing fresh linens upon request.

The only complaint I had was my husband and I had to leave a day early because of a sudden death in our family and I couldn’t get refunded for the Monday night I did not use. Not even a rain check date to use. I was told since it was booked through Hotels.com they couldn’t help me.

Bad

When i called service desk to get extra pillows nobody answer,so i had to go myself to them,not enough toilet paper,onecroll for like 6 people.the last night there the room got flooded,i had to usecall the towels and somecof my clothing.i told that to the receptionist,and they acted like it was normal,they said because it was windy theres a bunch of cracks on the walk sorrounding the ac unit facing the hallway.the ac unit got all wet almost shortened out.puctures attached.

I was greatly disappointed upon my arrival and stay at this hotel. The staff was unhelpful and rude, the curtains had burned holes and stains, the bedding was thin and uncomfortable, poor internet connection, no toiletries, additional fees such as parking and security deposit, inadequate parking, “swim up bar” wasn’t always open, and their indoor “cafe” was closed as well

Great view. The foyer looks sad. Floating river looked green. Bar was not open but one day. Small bar. Blaring music

Property was very noisy all day and night they played loud music. Parking is a garage and the spaces are tight.Somebody hit my car.

Fast service

The room itself was decent and clean. But down at the pool there was A LOT of marijuana smoking around children. Staff were very much aware of this. Even witnessed someone sitting at the swim up bar smoking it while signing her check. The “water park” is a joke. No slides like shown online. It’s small splash pad for the kids and a few random pools. Most definitely NOT family friendly.

This hotel is exactly as advertised. It’s in a great location, it’s clean, and our bed was super comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The DJ at the pool was terrific. We will definitely stay here again.

The swim up pool bar was the best part. Ocean front. The rooms were very dirty but doable.

lobby looks like a auto mechanic shop there bar/care was out of service lazy river pool brown water and rough bottom causing my son to cut 2 of his toes, 3/4 elevators were not working laundry machines do not all work but take your money carpet in front of room was drenched form a leak and had to step on it my whole stay and brought wet floor into my room parking garage door for exit was broken so had to use entrance to exit causing unsafe situation with oncoming vehicles

Relaxing, friendly staff

Ceiling fell apart onto the floor in the room. the floor was disgusting when we came in, took off our shoes at the door and our feet were covered in dirt and grime after just walking in the small room. There was still left over food from the last guests in the fridge. The towels had hair on them. The shower

This place was Amazing!! The Staff was amazing. (Expect for the young lady that checked us in) The other young lady was great at the desk . I’m trying to give her benefit of doubt she New . Everyone else was 10++ I will be back!!

Customer service at front desk terrible, no daily cleaning of rooms, and front door room card lock to does not open properly, vending machine overcharge for using cards and it’s in a unsafe location and no clue information about local restaurants , being that we made our reservations on Expedia we were treated like we were third class people when we asked for services they said they couldn’t do anything for us and they referred us back to Expedia and I felt that that we 11 o’clock at night we just arrived 3 Hour Dr. and just rude nasty and they know that you have nowhere else to go so they treat you any kind of way

is very inconvenience for me. I couldn't find my debit card because I never used it. All I use is Apple Pay. The lady in the front was very rude. Didn't bother to help me and she said there was no other way. I looked in my car for about two hours finally found it. I brought it in another lady helped me which she was very nice. Then she said is that her card doublecheck I was very frustrated at this point because she was accusing me at least I felt like she was accusing me of using somebody else
