I like how we walking distance to everything I didn’t like how the toilet paper roller was rusty refrigerator had a smell to it the door to go out to the outside balcony. It was pretty beaten up. You could hear every sound outside bird poop everywhere in the morning the dubs come and sit there and they poop all in front of the front door we couldn’t even go out there due to it and enjoy it.! it could use a better table for the microwave and coffee. It comes with no coffee no filters. I would’ve been nice if they had that in the room but everything else was good. The staff was nice. The housekeeper was nice..

There was some kind of construction going on, on a floor above us. We were woke up to banging noises which was really annoying. A heads up would have been nice so we didn’t think people were just banging on the walls. Our outlet be side the bed make a big popping noise and turned black so we couldn’t use it BUT the staff did upgrade our room and made it right! So we greatly appreciate that. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay.

Loved the staff! Very friendly and willing to help! I was told by the front office lady that if I needed to go to my car late at night or early morning that one of the men would gladly walk me. That gave me a huge piece of mind!! Bed was comfortable. Even had extra pillows. Room was VERY clean! Fresh towels daily, just put old ones in hallway and they'll leave fresh ones. The ocean front balcony was great!! The housekeepers are ALWAYS working!! I really only encountered 2 employees and they were both AMAZING! The lady at my check in was super sweet. She was a Georgia girl as I am so we had nice conversation. There was also an African American gentleman that works there, every time he sees someone coming to the door he makes sure to open the door for them and speaks to them! Not allowed to vape anywhere. VERY strict no smoking policy. Which I guess is cool cause I didn't smell marijuana during my whole stay. Rooms are a little dated but it's taken care of.

I like everything about the stay The property needs some fixing up to do like no door new concrete u can see a big hole out side on the patio the property just need renovated. Also have cleaner come in everyone room and take out the trash etc because our stay in the wrong til we took it out room cleaner should clean the room everyday other then that I would recommend this hotel to everyone

we love staying here each year with our friends and family some of the new rules are a bit excessive, the smoking on property for guests going to the street but the staff and maintenance can stand on property and smoke anywhere they would like, and the handicap parking is an issue . And I don't smoke but my husband is a smoker and handicap parking also. The rooms and appliances can use an update

Very clean room great view of the beach. Location is awsome for walking the boardwalk and restaurant and businesses. Stayed 5 nights never got in the truck once.

It’s a great location. You’re right there on the beach you walk the boardwalk you feel safe all the time I was traveling alone with my granddaughter and never once did I feel unsafe staff there at the hotel was awesome. Everybody was very helpful and was a great experience.

Have stayed here many times the best place we have stayed in myrtle beach

The parking was almost non existent. Had to use street parking, usually not close to the hotel. No house keeping, trash not emptied, towels not taken out or replaced. We had to stop at the desk if we needed anything from the hotel. Indoor pool on our side was filthy, hair floating around. Elevators and halls were wet. All in all not a very good stay. Could not recomend this hotel.

Staff was fantastic from check-in to check out. Pools were cleaned every morning. Staff was always on site making sure towels and toilet paper and everything else were stocked. When we arrived The room was very clean and smelled very freshly cleaned. If you needed anything you could call front desk and they would bring it up. The property was always being cleaned and always smelled clean. Balcony ocean view was beautiful. You could walk to anywhere on the boardwalk! Very good price for the stay as well. I will definitely return.

I went during Black Bike Week so it was what I expected. Nice staff, clean room, awesome pool and hot tub. I would go back!

First the bad. Outdated, rusty fridge, microwave was new but the door only opened a quarter of the way, toilet was overfilled when we got there and maintenance looked at it and adjusted the fill valve but 3 times in 6 days it still overfilled and had to clean up water, peeling wallpaper and inside of door in bathroom, very noisy elevators, you think twice about getting on them. The good. Great views, clean towels all the time, close to everything and the staff were very friendly. There was also one other bad thing and all I will say to this is check your pillow case top one and inside one.

Upon arrival, because my room wasn’t ready, the staff upgraded my kitchenette room with view on the ocean to a bigger one. I really appreciated it. During my stay, everything was perfect, the hotel on the beach, the view, the staff was extremely freindly and helpful for any of my request. If I can, I will return next year.

I loved it. It was a good day. The beds were really comfortable. I loved the idea I was on the fifth floor and could see the ocean really well on the beach. I think the hot tub in the pool and lazy river were awesome. The only thing I would have a problem with was the park, but that was because I had a bad foot, but other than that, the staff was awesome. The people were so polite didn’t even ask for towels and they was out on the in front of the door in a bag so I mean to me what a great place to stay and the price was a great to my book so I appreciate y’all and thank you so much, Charles.

Slept on my beach towels and pillows from home. Indoor pool and lazy river water was. brown Parking was two blocks away Beach view was good if I could get the Balcony door open, would expand due to humidity. The outdoor pool was on the far side of the other building Left two days early

I had a wonderful time staff was very helpful and friendly. Building was well located to the beach room was comfortable and clean bathroom.

They allowed us to check in early which was extremely appreciated after a long night of travel. Once we were in our room we noticed the balcony view was obstructed by a deck, and they front desk staff were great and allowed us to view other rooms and switch to one that suited our needs better. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The hotel is right on the beach and the beach was clean and not too crowded. Great location between 2 piers and close to lots of shopping and dining options. Great deal for the price. I would definitely come back again.

Great location on the boardwalk. Beautiful ocean views. Parking is across the street, restaurants are only in one building, this was not an issue at all. Room was clean, they dropped off fresh clean towels every morning. Rooms are dated so if that bothers you stay somewhere else. I stayed for 7 days and will definitely book here again.

The staff was more courteous and accommodating than at many of the more expensive lodgings on Ocean Blvd. The do a good job of trying to maintain the facility , but many repairs are needed. The location is Ideal !!!

Every staff member I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. Lazy river and hottub were awesome. My only complaint would be that the air conditioner, although it worked quite well, sounded at times like a helicopter taking flight. Other than that the stay was quite enjoyable and more than likely I'll return there on my next visit to Myrtle Beach.

Excellent accommodation, affordable price, Best location. Big and clean rooms, lots of storage space. Don’t look further.

Can't beat the price, but if you want a place to relax pay the little bit extra and upgrade to an efficiency room. The only furniture in our room was the bed, a desk with two small drawers, a floor lamp, full size refrigerator, and a desk chair. There was a 12.cup coffee maker (plan to bring your own coffee and filters) a toaster that accommodates bagels, and a microwave. We brought the two plastic chairs and small table in off the balcony to use as seating and bedside table. The staff are friendly, the hot tub and pool were clean. For $60 a night on the beach in the middle of the grand strand boardwalk its definitely doable.

I really loved the location of this hotel, it was right on the beach and a short walk to all shops and activities! The hotel itself was gross, I could tell handles and buttons in the elevator were wiped down once in the morning due to the smell of cleaning projects however cleanliness is not something they pride themselves on, or at least the building with the kids pool area. Our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. There was mold on the walls, the floors, the curtains. The vents and AC had thick black gunk covering them. The staff were nice and helpful.

The shower was clogged with someone else’s hair. The toilet was absolutely dirty. The floors were filthy. The handles on the shower were green and moldy, and I am allergic to mold. I will never stay at this place ever again pigeons on the balconies going to the bathroom on the balcony with pigeon crap everywhere terrible smell smells like ammonia.

The staff is absolutely amazing! We were originally booked in a room with one king bed and sofa and we ended in the north tower, when we checked in, the ac was leaking and they got maintenance to come up right away and fix it. Into futher look into the ac there was mold found the staff at the front apologize many times and they ended up moving our room to the south tower in a suite that had three queen bed, two TVs and a full size kitchen. I promise I will be back! We have a toddler and having all that space in the upgrade was. The maintenance guys were on sight everyday and made it feel so family friendly! Let’s also mention we went from second floor all the way to the 9th floor and an amazing beach view!

The staff was awesome and available 24/7. I had no issues. I would recommend. Myrtle Beach has a curfew for kids, so that is very helpful. Parking is across the street in 4 different lots, but otherwise it was pleasant.

This hotel is not as advertised. Hair everywhere, on the towels in the tub. I had to get clean sheets on arrival. Stains/hair on the sheets. Kitchen clean bathroom old fashion but clean just the hair and mole in jacuzzi jets and around tub knobs. Indoor pool so dirty, the water look yellow/brown. Pool need to be drained and cleaned. The owner (Garrette) was very nasty. I left and item in the room, he said it must've gotten thrown away and he don't care he's not arguing about it! and hung up in my ear. After calling 3days straight before even getting to talk to someone. I will NEVER EVER stay here again. 1star overall, the pictures definitely lied on the website. Kitchen was the only thing good.

The hotel is very nice and the staff workers are respectful and very helpful. The hotel is a very clean place you are able to smell bleach as soon as you walk in your room which is very nice. The hotel overall is a very nice clean place to stay and the restaurant on the 2nd floor is very convenient if you don’t feel like going out on a business night. It was a 10 out of 10 and I would definitely recommend.

Our room did not overlook the ocean. We were on the Boulevard side, but we were right above the pool. All of their pools are heated, indoor and out. The room was clean and every day they brought a bag of fresh towels and set it in front of our door. The staff was very pleasant. And when I had a need, they took care of it quickly. They do have shower chairs. The buildings are older, but right behind the hotel was a boardwalk to walk along the ocean which was really nice. We didn’t want to pay the price of a high dollar motel so it’s pretty much what we expected.!

When we first arrived it took forever to check in. When we finally got our room key and walked over to our building the hallways we gross! Looks like they hadn’t been vacuumed in a week! The rooms were filthy! The ceiling fans had about a quarter inch of black grime on it. Pictures over the bed looked like kids hocked loogies on them! I had to have them send someone up (not even the same day to come clean). They never one came to clean or empty the garbage. They gave us towels, but wrapped in a garbage bag thrown outside our room. Parking was terrible! The place was very dated and needs an overhaul badly! Even after my complaint and them cleaning there was zero follow-up. My bathroom door had a hole in it, the shower knob came off, the room divider was torn, and out door did not close properly! I had to throw my body weight into it! The pool, hot tub, and lazy river need to be drained and cleaned properly as they were filthy.

Our room overlooked the city, room was clean but small, the hallways and elevator could use a good cleaning. For the price it was not too bad..

The hotel was ok but the room was dirty. The shower had a bunch of long black hair in it I had to go buy bleach spray and clean it and I had to buy a blanket because the one on the bed was filthy. Would definitely spend more money next time and go elsewhere.

The staff upon arrival was pretty friendly, but i have to say i was a little underwhelmed with the cleanliness of the room. The floors were sticky and there was hair already in the bathtub upon arrival. It is pretty close to everything so if you are looking for that and affordability then this will be okay for you. The parking lot is a game in itself in waiting to see if someone moves so you can be able to get a spot so that you won’t have to park down the street or at a meter. Must mention the rooms are pretty spacious.

The rooms were simply furnished yet super clean. Bed was comfortable. The most notable big plus was the staff who were helpful, kind, professional, and responded quickly from the welcome to the check out and all requests in between.

The property was alright. I did not have high expectations based on other reviews I had read before booking. Upon arrival, the front office staff was very kind and helpful. Parking is across the street in one of three lots based on availability. The room was clean, though it definitely had signs of moisture damage needing repair. I had reserved an ocean view room. We were placed on the first floor, which does have a walk-out door from the room to the patio; the view was obstructed by trees, tall natural grass, and a fence line on the beach. Each day, towels were left outside the door of the hotel room. There is no housekeeping during your stay. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool, though it was small in size. The shallow end was much smaller than the deeper end, so the pool can become crowded quickly. There is access to a lazy river, a small pool, and a hot tub in an adjacent building across a small parking lot. The lazy river did not have a flow to it, so my kids quickly became annoyed and bored. There is a nice concrete walkway that you can take to local restaurants and shops. We were there for three nights, which was a good time frame.

The room is dated bad, the floors were nasty so was the bedding the back of the toilet with out reason leaked all over our room, the staff was very prompt. The hot tub water looked black and very foamy.

As previous postings said-it is in need of an update. Our view was JUST BEAUTIFUL! Again another plus! First time we stayed on the ground floor-Just to open up those big drapes and see the Ocean thru the large windows-GREAT! Had problem with a/c, heat unit-didnt even bother to tell them-we worked around this issue-we complained about the faucet in the bathroom and water in tub wldnt go down. They fixed the sink faucet that day and tried to fix the drain in tub-but we still had standing water while u showered but..we didnt complain again. Clean Staff, Pat, was so nice and helpful.. We stayed 8 days. Each day YOU put out your garbage in the hallway-it was picked up promptly. Same with the dirty towels-and a fresh bag of towels was left outside the door for you. Ice machine worked GREAT! always working, some other higher star hotels we have stayed at-had problems with the machine. Hallways are just old and need paint/etc. Again, we balanced that out with THE VIEW!! Walked on the Ocean every day-just beautiful. Oh-you have to park OFF SITE! They have 4 lots-across the street-we were told RARELY wld u park in #4-which is a hike to the hotel-guess what? yes-we had to park there 3 times! Parking in 1 or 2 was ok-but 3 or 4-that is far when you have packages, weather is raining, severe wind. Even after all of the above? would we stay there again? I think we would-price AND the View!!! location, location. Not in a busy section.

They stay was average. The items in room was run down and needs to be replaced. Our shower floor has stuck on dirt. We had to wear water shoes in the shower. The air conditioner didn’t work to great. Needs a heavier blanket on the bed. Good location

The staff was nice and courteous. The building is older on the ocean so it does require some TLC especially inside. Our room had 2 Queen beds which were fine and comfortable. We had a small stove, full size fridge and microwave, a small sink and counter area. The cupboards were very old, 1980's style, very few dishes and cutlery but enough to make due. We also had a table with 3 chairs which was great. We had a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. The bathroom was fine but again, needs some updates. The cleanliness of the room was okay, certainly not spotless. Good T.V. with cable. Overall, the room was okay for our needs as we are not too picky. We got the room really cheap so I am not going to complain as I would probably stay again if the price was right. Also, there was an indoor and outdoor pool and right on the beach with ample parking.

This hotel was disappointing. Other than the location, price, and friendly staff I would not recommend this hotel. The room was outdated and not very clean, all of the linens were stained. The bathroom was very dingy with the wallpaper peeling and floor tiles cracked. The A/C would go on and off. The bathroom sink drain stopper was broken when we arrived but front desk staff was super helpful and maintenance was quick to fix. They don’t clean rooms during your stay but they do leave towels outside of the rooms which was nice. Parking was good but I could see it being an issue during busy season but had no issues during our stay. Overall if you are not bothered by the cleanliness and outdated rooms this wasn’t the worst place to stay but I would not stay again myself

The staff and check in people had a great attitude, fun and were really nice. The rooms are a little small but did exactly what we needed for a family of five. They also have a restaurant on second floor which was really good! Quiet, close to a lot of fun attractions and great view. I recommend Bring toilet paper if you are gonna use more then three rolls on your stay! Also band aid the lazy river does a number to your toes.

Room was nice and big. It had a beautiful view no ocean front pool so there was a pathway, a walkway and a lot of trees which was very nice. The pools indoors were very dirty. I picked this place because it had indoor pools as a getaway in the winter and was not able to use them. That was extremely disappointing and the office staff did not seem to care when I asked them about it.

Smoking policy seems to be only targeted to “specific “ groups considering it smells like weed throughout the entire building…and sometimes weed in the jacuzzi area as well alcoholic beverages in the jacuzzi area given it strictly states no alcohol or any sorts of smoking …I love the place but if it goes for 1 ..it should be for everyone…including employees..other than that VERY friendly and easy to work with given the snow storms impacting areas of heavy travel ..for people out of state

First of all, the customer service was excellent.I let them know that I was coming to celebrate my birthday and not only did they bump me up to the top floor but they also made sure that as far as any guest that would be there, they were able to check in and out with no problem.And also, they put my name on their billboard, for a "happy birthday" announcement. Made me feel real special! Definitely will stay here again! See ya'll next year👋

The room was filthy. There was cockroaches. There was dents in the bathroom door and the walls. The decor was broken. Someones clothes were in the dressers. The back down had cold air coming in. When we tried to address it with a manager they weren't there. Then he decided to call the day before we checked out and said we were harassing his staff and he wasn't going to do anything for us then hung up the phone. Horrible hotel and staff

Room was clean, great view, nice staff. Air/ heat worked well. I liked the big fridge. Also plenty of towels and toiletries provided. Would be nice for a thicker bed comforter. Was quiet and relaxing. Only wished they had a few parking spots right at hotel. There was free meters parking beside hotel and ample parking across street. Also enjoyed non smoking policy.

Given the price is so low, one does not go in expecting much. It is convenient and adequate. The building is aging, but the room was functional, and the heating and hot water worked fine. The TV turned on but was not connected to anything....but I don't generally watch TV so didn't complain because it was fine with me.

The check in was easy and the young man who helped us friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean but had an overpowering smell of bleach.the kitchenette was clean but overt old. The view was wonderful. Bed comfortable. There was no room servicing just a plastic bag outside the door with clean towels daily. Had to go to reception for coffee as they only supply when you ask. Overall we had a good experience and would stay there again.

Staff was friendly. Hotel was dirty and old! Pool was more of a pond in color! Disgusting! Good beach access but not safe after dark!

I could write a book on my stay but I’ll try to keep it short. First off, the pictures are contradicting. They forgot to add the rust, grime, and pubic hair. Not to mention the BLACK MOLD, spiders, and roaches. After unpacking and trying to settle in, I suddenly had trouble breathing, I went to use the restroom and found not 1 but 2 roaches playing tag with each other. When trying to catch these love birds, behold I found black mold.. something I’m highly allergic to! But why should the property know this? Do I have to put that out there just incase? This is awful. And don’t get me wrong, the staff were kind and did their best to accommodate us. They moved us over to the “suite” with the jacuzzi that had pubic hair galore. The entire place smelled like a sewer. If I wanted to lay down in filth, I could have just slept outside on the sidewalk for free. I am thankful for how the manager comped me for the night.. and didn’t charge me to move.. (I should not have had to pay anyhow).. and gracious to how kind Expedia was to help resolve my issue. But this was the worst experience during any of my travels. I did not sleep a wink and this was suppose to be my down time as a single mom. lol. But of course that did not happen. Do not stay here. Do not waste your time or your travel plans. Do your research and don’t trust the pictures. That’s all. I guess this was a book.

Room was pleasant the staff sure went above and beyond this is the only hotel I’ve stayed at that had towels waiting for u the next morning in a bag at ur door I not once had to ask for any new ones and I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels in my life time I for sure will stay again at this one

Our room was very clean. Small bathroom had to slide between toilet and counter to close the door. Did not have breakfast but that is stated. Not a bad thing but had to drive elsewhere to get food. Outdated but a clean outdated facility. The staff is very very pleasant and friendly. Very accurate.

Staff was amazing and helpful. We got fresh towels delivered to our door daily. The room was clean and fairly spacious. I wish there was an added security lock (either a chain or flip out stopper). Also, the pools and hot tubs, while technically clean, they could use a good scrub. There was ample parking off property and location was ideal. For an older hotel, it was pretty nice.

The hotel was very outdated, with no noticeable upgrades or accommodations. It advertises itself as a hotel, but the experience was more on the level of a motel. It definitely needs significant updates.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well stocked as an efficiency room. The hotel is obviously older woth some chipped plates, rusted stove, and other signs of use. The outlet in the bathroom didn't work and the oceanfront window was not properly sealed letting in cold air. The staff was thankful I let them know about the room problems. I would stay there agsin in the future. The only thing I didn't like was the heavy amount of chlorine in the hot tub. It made too many fumes and even foamed in the water.

Staff was great, very clean room. I would have liked to have coffee for the coffee maker. Being on 7th floor it took a few minutes for water to get warm. Next time I will book oceanfront. Great hot tub, but never found indoor heated pool.

The price was right! And there’s a full stove oven a full-size refrigerator and a balcony overlooking the ocean and there’s Christmas lights being set up with a beautiful walkway so I’m definitely gonna have to come back in December. This is also a microwave, coffee, pot dishes, pots, and pans and a toaster.

I walked in and was very disappointed Room was dated, They didn't offer any coffee in lobby, and if your room is in the first tower you got to walk over across parking lot to other building to pool hot tub if its cold out ur freezing! Cheap 20 dollar metal frame on bed glad it didnt break. Plus a extra 100 dollar deposit on top of room charge i never ever paid for a security deposit on hotel room ever! Very poor hotel room smelled like straight up rubbing alcohol when u walked in. Idk, maybe its just me but i will not stay there again.

Everything was great however I had to leave a day early and never got my deposit back I paid that in cash but I got told it was still pending and that it would go back to the card I booked the hotel with and havnt received it yet and struggling right now with everything going on .

Room clean except for bedspread which was very stained or dirty. Balcony seating good. Indoor pool needs cleaning. Room whirlpool did not work, balcony door would not lock. Big fridge. Not a complete set of dinnerware. Pool heated but pool area floors left open so breeze

This was our first time staying at this hotel. Views were amazing, cleaning staff went above & beyond and we were impressed with the hotel restaurants food. Even their pizza was good!

For the most part, this hotel is good. It is older and could use some updates, but it is clean and the staff is nice. Very close to the boardwalk and beach and places to eat nearby. Liked the hot tubs too. The oceanview rooms are the best.

Smokers in the stairwells (fire escapes) day and night (loud talking and smoke getting in room at 3:00a.m.) and chain smokers along the 1st floor with chairs lined against the building with continuous smoke floating upwards to balconies above. The people at the front desk said they"could'nt do anything about it because the city's property went to the edge of their building." I went to our room and cancelled our reservations for 2 rooms in June 2026. The parking shortage will not make you happy if you stay at Holiday Sands North, either.

Great view

The beach view from my balcony was amazing but the strong smell of bleach and cleaning products when I checked into my room was a bit overpowering so I had the door open to the balcony my entire stay. There were patched holes on the ceiling as well as by the baseboards to the balcony. But check-in and checkout was so easy, great staff up front and they even have a restaurant in the south building that will deliver your food to the door. I’ll definitely be booking again when I decide to do a solo trip :)

Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean and affordable. The only thing we had an issue with was parking. We had 2 vehicles. While i understand only 1 parking pass is issued per booking. I had to pay for parking for both of my cars Saturday night due to all 4 of the parking lots being full at 9pm.So my car with pass didnt even have a space available to park in.This wouldn't have been an issue if there wasnt car trailers and motorcycles taking up vehicle parking in the lots.If there is only one parking pass issued per room booking ,there shouldn't have been trailers allowed in the vehicle parking spaces for the guest parking .Other than that, our stay was wonderful and we will be back !

Horrible place and stay!! Would NEVER choose again!! Attention and priority given to visiting BIKERS not handicapped elderly patrons. Rooms old with stained ceilings, non working outlets and very dim lighting. Trash not picked up !! Staff not helpful in finding handicapped parking without crossing 4 lane road to overflow lot! Just awful!!

No handicapped parking near entrance to building. What parking was available the staff covered over the handicap painting on the ground to allow for BIKERS motorcycles to park there. We handicapped had to cross 4 lane highway to extra parking without help! Awful situation!! Lighting in room was very dim!! Few plugs for charging phones and half did not work!! Trash never picked up over 5 day stay!! Would NEVER go back or recommend this awful old hotel. With all the beautiful hotels in Myrtle Beach, we picked the absolute worst choice ever!! Very disappointed!!

They do have pool area open till late however, late evening, you'll see roaches moving around near pool/hot tub so we could t relax. Towel service was nice that they just gave us set of towels especially near beach property cuz we'll take more shower. Overall, for the price it was good.

Property is nice and everything was up to par. Homeless people were hovering around but not on hotel grounds. Be careful about leaving the hotel. I will return next year and thank you for your hospitality.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Walls were dirty, garbage can was full, old broken box fan, and a filthy, leaking air conditioner. It looked like a crime scene, and the elevator was just horrible.

Our room was facing towards the road which was fine, but the weather didn’t align right with our trip this time. However, the hotel was very clean, staff very helpful and nice. We were impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and our room. We stayed at a different hotel our last stay and it was the worst place we’ve ever been in our life. False advertising at its finest. Stay away from South Bay in and book with Holiday Sands North. It’s a great place for an affordable price. You feel safe and comfortable. We will be booking a room with them again in the future. Thank you for your outstanding service!!

Hotel could use some updating or freshing up. Other than that being on the beach was what i was really looking for. Reaort staff were great. A lot of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Private balcony right on the beach, with a 1 bedroom suite (plenty of room) for the price cant beat.

Booked a king room. Upon check in was told their system over booked the king rooms. The man who checked us in said he would give us a room with 3 queen beds at no extra charge. Mighty nice of him since a queen bed is smaller than what we booked. Nice view of the beach. Interior of hotel is rundown and filthy. Room was fairly clean but rundown. The beds are a joke. Its a mattress on a flimsy metal frame. Definitely will not stay here again.

This property was not as advertised. In fact, we left and went to a different hotel. It was outdated, depressing and decrepit. I am going to reach out to AMEX to see about disputing the charges.

The staff who checked us in were very kind and helpful. The property photos were pretty misleading and we ended up not staying here for the duration of our trip. The halls and pool were dirty, there was no deadbolt on the room door or a working lock on the balcony door- a big issue when traveling with small children.

The pool looked as if it had not been cleaned in years. The sides of the lazy river were covered in what looked like algae. My daughter refused to get in. We looked forward to swimming but never got in their pools.

The property is in need of some updating. I believe they are in the process now. The staff was outstanding. They were extremely friendly, available, and helpful.

This is our second stay here. Easy parking across the street. Hotel is in a convenient location. Staff is nice, housekeeping is good.

The room it self was okay, it was clean up on arrival. The entrance was a little weird and confusing, it didn't look like a normal hotel entrance. The bed was hard and the comforter was very light, I'm glad I brought my own blanket from home. The pillows could have been better also. The bathroom was a super tight fit and the way the door had to close was weird and tight. The balcony was the best part, it was a beautiful view. The front desk staff are super unprofessional, loud and having personal conversations while trying to check in. We went back later to ask where the breakfast cafe was located and the lady was super rude. Said there wasn't one , and when I said I seen it on the website she told me there was no mention of on the website and got argumentative with me. Just extremely unprofessional staff. Very old building.

The indoor pool,lazy river, and hot tub definitely need a good scrub down and not just chemicals dumped in them… on a positive note the customer service was wonderful and the price was great. The room is small. When you enter you see a full size rusty refrigerator. The bed is a queen not a king. The noise from the street makes it very hard to sleep. The air conditioner is old and very loud.

I thought the indoor pools was going to be warm but they was cold. Not to clean and the light on the balcony shined in our room all night the beds was hard. We heard all the cars that passed by really loud. The dishes had food all on them.

This property looks NOTHING like the advertisement on the internet. It was very deceiving. We passed the hotel several times while driving because we were looking for the hotel we booked. Nasty, musty smellling, dirty, and horrible conditions. I would not recommend to anyone.

If you are looking for a quick getaway and you won’t be spending a lot of time at the property it will do. The amenities are very old and the hallways are very dated and not very cleanly. However, the staff was nice and they stocked us well with towels and clothes. The bathroom was small and outdated, but served its purpose. The bed was not comfortable, but once again a few days it can work. It had easy access to everything and was affordable.

Great trip! First time staying here and I will def be coming back! Check in was smooth and easy. Parking is free and you get 4 lots to choose from. Room was clean. Smart TV. Balcony looked out at the ocean and the boardwalk. Close proximity to bars, food, activities. About 5-10 min walk to Ripleys and the main strip. Bed was super comfortable and black out curtains did their job! Both indoor and outdoor pools, lazy river, and 2 hot tubs. Highly recommend staying here!

Everything was fine the family had fun really enjoyed our stay. If your an AC person and love a cold room the room can definitely get COLD and is obviously changeable to your personal preference but we had a blast only thing i wish they did was clean a bit more

My husband and I stayed there from August 19- 26, 2025. We were celebrating his birthday! The staff there is outstanding. Very attentive to all of our needs. We had a beachfront balcony, and the view is absolutely beautiful!! The beach was so close, just a few steps away! Great amenities here! We enjoyed the pools, hot tubs and lazy river very much! Very family friendly here. We saw families with young kids as well as couples of all ages. Many seniors too. Everyone was super friendly and having a great time here, just like us! Very conveniently located, right next to all of the fun things to do! We love this hotel and we will definitely come back!!

Being close to the boardwalk and the cement walkway and both piers the staff that works there is very personable and respectful good for older people

Hotel was ok for being an old hotel. Could definitely use a deep cleaning and cleaning crew to actually clean.

We have stayed at Holiday Sands for over 20 years & it has always been a great experience. The owners are friendly & it is always great to visit with them. The rooms are very clean & comfortable. Our granddaughter enjoys the pool and hot tub. We would definitely recommend this place to stay.

The rooms were nice , beds killed my back bc they have metal frame and bar that goes directly under ur back so makes it really hard to sleep …cleanliness was good , everything worked as it should , showers cld use an update

I have ocd, so I cleaned/sanitized the room before we brought our things in. A blue light revealed alot of missed areas. The bed was lumpy, but other than that we had a great time.

The staff was very friendly. Our room was extremely small and did nir look like the photos online. The bathroom floor was dirty and there was some type of filth on the shower wall that had not been cleaned. Location was great.

The office staff was friendly. However, the cleaning staff was absolutely lazy, would walk around face timing while pretending to clean. There was trash all over the place, inside and outside. My son's bathroom flooded in his hotel room. My mother in law could not use her balcony due to it falling apart and being absolutely disgusting. We were all moved to the other tower. We appreciated the move!! The rooms were cleaner, still not to my standards, but better. There was mold and rust throughout all three rooms. The ocean view was the only great part of the hotel! My son said the restaurant had great food. With how dirty the rest of the hotel was, I wasn't risking eating at their restaurant. They did refund us some money for our troubles, still not worth the stay.

Mold under the bed. No air flow with dirty box fans for the room. Toilet seat had a nice big foot print on it. Pools were green and would probably give you some type of infection. Beds had a cheap frame with only a mattress. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

But... It's cheap. It's right on the beach with a balcony. It's walking distance (5ish blocks) from the main boardwalk area with shops, restaurants, and attractions. Taking that into consideration, the room is fine for what it is. A roof over your head in between time spent at the beach. We didn't have noisy neighbors. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. The beach is wonderful. All the other hotels will be either far worse, or almost 3 times the price.

I really enjoyed my stay, they kept me and my family right next to one another since we had two rooms. This was the first time that we stayed there and was happy that we got the oceanfront view. I wanted my family to have a great time and they all did. Wish we could of stayed longer.

It is an older building with many up grades needed. The halls smelled bad. The room was clean but needed some repairs. The mattress on the hidabed was smashed down and yellowed. The staff there were very friendly and accomidating. They had a new mattress by the next morning.

Great location, kitchette was old but microwave, refrig and coffeepot were really clean. The worst part of the room was the ceiling. Dark stuff all over it, I talked myself into thinking it was just old, dirty and paint was missing, hopefully instead of mold. Won't stay there again.

Beds were horrible as well pillows, air unit old loud and undeperforming.Microwave could only open 8" due to poor installation. Bugs in hallway old nasty carpet in room ,punch hole in bathroom door.Poor water pressure in unit.Rusty refrigerator and stove.Great views of beach, pools older but clean,staff friendly. Room not like pictured, ripoff on-going.

Ok hotel if you are on a budget. Rooms are in need of updating. Very friendly staff.

Third year staying at Holiday sands north I will be booking in February for next yrs vaca!!!

Not enough parking space, But overall stay was great

We have stayed here three times and have been pleased with everything about Holiday Sands. My daughter and grandchildren love the indoor pool and lazy river. The people at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to our next visit to Myrtle Beach and staying at the Holiday Sands.

Room was clean and comfortable. Disliked that everything in the room was designed for someone 6 foot tall. Couldn't access the safe, or make coffee without assistance. With the air conditioner running, the street noise was minimal. Overall a good location and decent amenities. Property could be better kept

Staff was friendly, rooms and hotel are old and out dated. Restaurant was drity food was good tho.

If you're looking for a fancy place this isn't it. Although once we got settled in everything was just fine. We had a great view from the 5th floor and it was quiet.

The bed is small and noisy.

The team went above and beyond. We had an issue with our room. They immediately gave us the best available. Great communication and very friendly staff. All on point. If you are looking for a Marriott, this is not it. If you are looking for a clean room at a fair price, they got you.
