Staff was very helpful and on point had no problem with them but the building is old and really need to be worked on and updated.

Beach access from hotel was closed for maintenance but was not told this before booking. Air in room barely worked.

Kitchen was just right and very clean. Loved the full size refrigerator! Great ocean view and easily accessible to beach. Many walkable options for dining

Just old property staff was super nice though the view was perfect for the ocean front room and for the price can't beat it. I would bring some of you own things to cook with if you plan to cook.

Well the construction going on stop me from getting to go to the ocean unless I walked a mile or two of the beach or down it couldn't get no sleep because of the construction going to late hours of the night and then starting right back up early hours of the morning but other than that it was a good view from the room on the balcony hotel room was pretty clean but they was no towels ever brought to our room if I could get a discounted price I would go back this fall from the 30th of September to the 4th of October

The room was not clean at all we stayed for a weekend my husband and I. The sheets were dirty, floor was dirty we had to take the sheets off and sleep on the mattress cover that’s how dirty the sheets were. We had requested housekeeping come in the next day and we came home that night to the same mess and dirtiness. We had to ask the front desk to get us clean sheets and towels when we arrived back around midnight. I definitely won’t be going back

There was nothing unique about Gazebo Inn Oceanfront I booked this place because was suppose to be an oceanfront unit I checked in around 4pm with my 8 year old daughter and walking to our room seem like we were going into a basement Everything from front desk clerks area throughout this property was very out of date and cleaning service must have missed room 1112 that was given to me because walked in refrigerator had not been cleaned, oven not cleaned floor was not swept or mopped dirt and something sticky on floor.trash was in bathroom trash AND old food in kitchen trash . When I say nothing was cleaned I mean nothing and Oceanfront yea okay when I opened room door there was a door leading outside to the pool straight in front of me and I could hear people clearly I opened that door and pool is literally soon as you step out that door and the entrance doors did not look secure.okay so now I am disgusted and upset because this was definitely false advertising and they have the nerve to charge a $12.00 resort fee and a $100 deposit if customer causes any damage.well my daughter wanted to get in the ocean so we had all our luggage in the room because i didn't think there would be any problems until I opened room 1112 door.well my daughter wanted to get in ocean, the only reason she wanted to go to Myrtle beach.i had about 3 bags of luggage so I put all of our things on one bed and got our swimwear out changed and we walked down to the water and did not go back in room for a

Got no rest because they were working on the beach outside the hotel.this went on all night big spotlights and machines beeping and banging.the elevator got stuck twice on the fifth floor.so I had to carry my luggage up 4 floors.couldn’t check in at 3 .was able to check in at 4,but they weren’t done with the room yet.

The only complaint I have about my stay is I waited all day to get towels,I just would like to be able to get towels whenever I need them especially if I put my dirty ones outside the door at 9 am and don't get clean ones almost 12 hrs later.

This is one of the nastiest hotels that I have ever stayed here at Myrtle Beach. Weed smell so strong that I couldn't sit on the balcony drugs sold out front. I voiced this to the people in the office but nothing was done about it. Stay as far as u can away from this hotel. U will regret it if u stay here.

Right on the beach, good price, had a clean pool, my room had 2 fridges, everything was in working order (although i had to plug in some lamps and reset the bathroom electrical sockets), staff was very sweet and helpful even after just getting reamed by someone when her room wasnt ready right at 3pm on a transition day (weekdayers to weekenders), etc. Hot tub was a little small (but that's not unusual from what I've seen) and I do wish I'd been told how to make the sockets work before i spent time stressing they were broken. But those are small. I got everything I was looking for.

The room was excellent The housekeeping people was very nice but one woman front desk worker she was a white lady. She worked all day long. She is very terrible. She shouldn’t be working as a customer service because she don’t have no good skill serving customers. She have very bad altitude she don’t answer your question on time she pretend like she’s on the phone. Who knows if she is or not she ignored my question we were supposed to book in at 3 PM, but we were delayed even then I have to engage with her argument if we could go ahead and clock in or go into our room that need to be corrected as a God‘s fearing person I forgive her, but I think she need to be addressed that the way she treat customer she shouldn’t be so rude

The staff was nice and it was right on the beach. The odor of marijuana lingered constantly around the hotel and the rooms, parking can be an issue when they are full.

For it to be a last minute book, everything was nice.The location was where everything was.We were 1/2 mile from the boardwalk..The staff was good.Everything was pleasant.We even stayed an extra night.Definely will be coming back.♥️

The staff was friendly the entire stay and very helpful when I accidentally locked my keys in the room. The room and pool area were clean and very comfy. Can't wait to be back next year!

The room and the view were both beautiful! Check-in was pretty slow but the front desk attendant was very nice and apologetic. We also didn't receive any towels our entire stay even though I did ask twice. It was a busy holiday weekend for them and I can understand mistakes happen sometimes. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to future guests.

It was a great value, and I especially appreciated having the kitchenette. The front office and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient to downtown and right on the beach, which made the stay even better. The property is not new and could use some cosmetic updates, but the lower cost more than makes up for it.

Nothing. Shut this place down I called over 40 times trying to get into my room. I arrived around 12:15 trying to get into my room that I had booked. I called ahead of time because I knew I was going to be late due to traffic and road work. The lady on the phone said it would be fine and that we could just come and ring the doorbell whenever we arrived. I should have known once I called and someone was in the background telling the woman I was on the phone with to hang up on me multiple times. Checkout is supposed to end at 12:00 but I got the go ahead to come. When I arrived, nothing went right. No one was at the front desk for the whole hour I was there. There had been guests there who were already checked in, trying to get help from the staff. No one was around since 11:00pm. We spoke with them for over 30 minutes trying to wait it out but no one came. Don’t waste your time or money. Luckily I was not charged for the room but having 1 year old child in the car trying to get into this room, it was never going to happen. Your best bet is to book elsewhere.

The hotel has a fantastic location, and the staff is very friendly and helpful The hotel is noisy, and there seems to be little control over the guests.

View was great. Front desk very helpful. Property is rundown and needs a total makeover. Our room was not clean. Price was what brought js in. I guess you get what you pay for.

The location is amazing. Staff is fantastic. Facilities are a little run-down, but if you are going to be on the beach, who cares! I would not stay here during peak season. The property is small, and sound carries. Lots of smokers. For a weekday stay in the off-season, this was fantastic, and the hot tub while looking at the beach is phenomenal.

Building was not up to date, and was dark. TV did not work, and the refrigerator was not cold at all. My king suite was on the first floor, and opened up DIRECTLY to the pool, and the pool was open until 10pm. Needless to say, we didn't have much privacy.

The door had alot of cracks you could see through and it wasn't dusted .I also found trash under the bedside .no phone to call front desk at all.

I didn't feel safe on first floor, back door was not stable. View was of alley cats and parking lot. No pillow cases on pillows. Remote no back didn't work. It was replaced. I canceled my next night.

I did not like anything from we went in we taught we had the wrong hotel. I have always booked through Booking and because they did not take my mother into consideration and gave a refund this is the last time I book with them. Noise dirty and people smoking pot outside our door. My mother has Cancer and we went to relax so my mother would have a nice time and she was up all night. it was terrible. We had to leave the next day early.

Good for the price, the rooms are decent. The hallways looks like a horror film, didn’t enjoy the parking garage but again good for the price. Front desk lady was kind, cleaners were as well. Was noisy at night, but kids will be kids. Parking, noise, hallways and elevator needs updating.

We was there 3 days no room service we took out our own trash had to wash our own towels had to ask for toilet paper we was told we only supply that every 3 days but here gave us two rolls when we checked in we only had a quarter of a roll in our room pool was cold which was expected lot tub did not work when we questioned it they said it had mold in it and they couldn’t fix it . Lots arguing and a man tried to get my daughter and her in my car while I was checking out and another one tried to give me a hug that looked like he was strung out on some kind of drugs . I do not recommend this place !

Even with the lower price, cleanliness should still be a basic standard, and that was lacking here. I wouldn’t stay again, and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you absolutely have no other option.

Walking to the elevator you had to walk over puke to get down the hall. Saturday morning after the pool boy cleaned the pool,we tried to enjoy the hot tub, it was nasty and didn't heat and jets didn't work. Pool deck pots were full of cigarettes....and had at least 4 cats roaming around the pool deck. Parking lot was nasty with trash.. The only 2 good things were Ms. Betty at the front desk...she was great and the bed was comfy.

Was supposed to be "newly renovated," had holes in the walls, the door leading outside to the balcony was separated, trim falling off in the halls. Had drug addicts across the hall. They give you a paper when you checkin with numbers on it to call for noise complaints.I tried to call but it was just dead air. The paper said dial 0 for the front desk but there was no phone. I tried to call the hotel from my phone, no one answered. I went down to the front desk and they have a ring doorbell for after hours and no one answered it either.

Just somewhere to sleep honestly that place needs to be fixed asap I enjoyed the balcony and waking up to ocean

Room was falling apart sheetrock plaster falling off the ceiling. Floor was dirty enough to turn bottoms of feet black walking barefoot in the room. I pulled my bed sheets back and found a orange peel under the sheets so I slept with my clothes on with no sheets. Area reaked of marijuana. Wouldn't stay here again. Guess that's why the nightly rates were so low.

The hotel staff are really great—very polite and courteous. Every day, they go into the bathroom to clean and replace the towels. The service is exceptional. I have nothing but gratitude.🙏☺️

Room with kitchenette but cookware was dirty, cupboards were dirty, shower liner was cracked with holes, holes in wall, housekeeping was sporadic, staff was friendly when we had a request. (Extra toilet paper) both room door and deck door were swollen and hard to open and close.

The Gazebo was nothing like the pictures. It smelled like cleaning products mixed with dirt, mold & weed. We were shown a room that was on the pool level. The whole floor was covered with cardboard & duct tape. The room was dirty & the furniture was old & the paint was chipping off the walls. The room on the main level was just as bad. There were tenants that looked like they should be on some kind of watch registry list. The parking lot was destroyed with little available parking. We ultimately found another hotel. We felt it was unsafe & unsanitary. Expedia contacted management to get us a refund since we didn’t stay. According to Expedia no one at Gazebo relied to their request. Expedia told us there is nothing further they could do. So we are out the money. Expedia advertising for this place is an issue. It’s false advertising. I will no longer use Expedia & am disappointed with the whole experience.

My husband and I used to use Travelocity frequently, but after this, I'm not sure that we will be able to ! I was left five hours away from home trying to figure out where to stay after a long days work ! On Valentine's Day !!!!!! No one even asked me my email in order for the manager to be able to communicate with me and the lady at the front desk for gazebo and was not helpful at all in fact, she was rude ! Check in was 3 but had to wait til closer to 330 for room to be cleaned. Took at bath only for maintenance to knock and say I had to drain it due to leaking in floor below. Would have spent a little more and stayed somewhere else next time. Half of parking lot is under forever construction so only choice is park blocks away and walk

Wanted a room on a higher floor. Our room was in the basement. Constant doors slamming and staff talking loudly in the hall. Room could use a major upgrade.

CONS: The wood floors were sticky and appeared to have buckled in several places. Maybe wood-flooring is not a great option for the beach. Also, all metal located in the room had excessive rust. The door leading to the balcony had an additional wood pc attached. From the other side, you can see where someone mustve kicked the door in as well as the ac unit, smh. While the laundry smelled clean, everything had stains, towels, wash cloths sheets, and pillow cases. The door to the balcony also didnt close all of the way. A chunk of the floor was missing. We did not find bed bugs, but I did see a roach on our last night. Also, the room, for some odd reason, had collected a few gnats on our last morning. The stoverange hood was dirty. PROS: THE VEIW!!! The apt sized fridge looked new. We went to Walmart and go 91% alcohol and sprayed down the beds just in case there were bed bugs. A generic swifter to clean the floors, disinfectant to clean all the surfaces. I pd $108 for 2nts. Other than the store, we did not leave the rm. Will try to add pics.

I don't know why this place has a 6+ rating because this was not an ideal place to stay minus the view, beach proximity and price but I got what I paid for I guess. I wouldn't stay here again unless someone paid me a lot of money to. Stay here at your own risk because phew! There's mold, destroyed and unrepaired doors caused by salt, thin walls, room was fairly unclean and not fully wiped down. I had to clean the bathroom and I don't go on vacation to clean up. The walls were not insulated enough because we heard our neighbors partying through the door oh and smelled their smoke even though there were no smoking signs everywhere. I killed a bug on my bed night 1 but it seemed to be the only one thank goodness. However we slept with the lights on both nights to feel comfortable. I knew driving up and seeing their "gazebo", signage and parking lot we were in for trouble. This place is needs a serious overhaul honestly!

The people here are amazing, very sweet, very patient. The condition of the rooms could use some more work but EXTREMELY reasonable for price point. My only real complaint is that ramp going underneath the building for parking! It is extremely narrow, tight, angled and scary to get in and out of. Other than that my gf and I had a great impromptu day at Myrtle and enjoyed our stay (:

I knew before booking the hotel that it is an older, family owned hotel, so I didn’t expect 5-stars. The decline in quality/cleanliness from my stay two years ago to now is huge. We could see daylight through the doors, the coffee pot was covered in rust and dust, and the sheets were old and stained. There were more issues, but those just came to mind.

Rooms looked far better than the hallways. Price was cheap. Room was in need of updates but clean, View was amazing, walls are very thin. You can hear conversations in the next room and in the hallways. Woman at front desk was a bit abrasive and didn’t seem to appreciate it when her tone and attitude was mirrored back to her.

More annoying were the doorways. Door to balcony was so expanded/damaged you had to disturb your neighbors each time you opened and closed it. The front door was only slightly better. The pool cleaner arrived Monday morning but the water was cloudy for Sunday arrivals. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Winter rates are a bargin especially for oceanfront. A little investment would go a long way.

You could see the beach from the balcony. However, the balcony looked like it was going to crumble. The bed sheets had hair all over them. The shower scum was built up on the shower. Table has sticky all over it. The desk people were nice enough. Half their parking lot was closed down and they had vehicles broke down with flats on the lower level. The maintenance in this place has been neglected for a very long time and it shows.its been a week and still haven't seen our deposit back

The air conditioning unit was leaking water over edge of the balcony. The pool appeared to be not cleaned in a very long time and was murky. I stayed here because it is cheap.

Horrible after driving 6 hours they refused our stay because we still have local ids. The lady at the desk was very rude. Word of advise dont stay here. Made a reservation we got to the property they would not allow me to check in to my room because I was a local person work was being done at my home and just needed somewhere to be for overnight terrible I still haven't gotten my money back they say I have to get it back from Expedia I'm just at a loss

The area was not a safe area at all. The fridge and microwave did not work, we asked about it more then once and it was never fixed or addressed. There was black mold all over the beds. The staff were not friendly.

Very dirty the property clearly hasnt been kept up the photos are very much not what you get. The parking is a joke especially if you drive a larger vehicle. No toilet paper in the room. The floors where dirty i thought our bed was going to break you move an it sounded like you where jumping on them. Only perk was it was a true balcony. I could go on and on was very disappointed.

Light fixtures in the rooms are old and rusted. Furniture worn and chipped. Mattress could use an upgrade. The hot tub and pool were NOT clean, there is trash around the exterior of the hotel. Just a little TLC would go a long way. We booked based on pictures on expedia. These pics were not taken recently. Stayed one night…. Wouldn’t stay longer. The property had no towels when we requested. The shower was literally cracking and falling apart. The room smelt like smoke. The pool had sand all in the bottom like it had not been cleaned in weeks. It was very noisy in the hallways at night and just overall trashy. We were embarrassed to tell people we were staying there when asked. You get what you pay for.

The lady at service desk literally took 1.5 hours for 4 customers to check-in even immigration line at JFK airport or any line at DMV takes less time than that...this shows their low quality outdated service. Then we were informed it might take few hours more because rooms are not ready..whats the point of 3 PM check in time and 11 AM checkout time if they were unable to deliver room on time. There were no towels in rooms. Imagine coming from a beach to have shower in your hotel room and there were no towels.

This property was the most disgusting place we have ever been at. It was filthy, mold on the walls, no towels, thr comforter was so stained and we were blown off as if it were normal. The hotel reeked of marijuana inside and outside pool area was loud people jumping off balconies into pool, drinking and smoking pot. Music blasting until 3am. No parking at night. People double parked in lot, staff didnt care. We were told to park in a unlit area accrossed the street. Drug dealers and prostitutes all out front of the hotel. This was the worst experience ever! Do yourself a favor and dont ever even think of staying here.

Stayed one night and walked out sick with itchy eyes, runny nose and sneezing. Had a balcony which overlooked The Twilight Hotel in witnessed prostitution and drug activity all day and all night.

The reviews were okay but it's not good at all. The elevator is small, the parking is horrible especially underneath in the garage it's very small only 1 car can go down or up at the same time very small bad place to turn in, constantly smelled like marijuana inside an outside of the the hotel and or room an I had 2 kids with me it was horrible I will never ever ever stay there again. Literally don't stay here if you have kids or don't smoke because you constantly smell marijuana an cigarette smoke and there was homeless people hanging around. Didn't feel safe at all. When your walking to the beach from the hotel it smelled like people used the bathroom in the sand. There was a homeless man set up a little tarp an stuff an was sleeping an changing literally beside the walkway to the beach it was so bad. The only good thing was how big the TV was in the room literally that's it.

Picture on Expedia are misleading and not a true representation of the facility. There was the smell of Marijuana coming from downstairs so we could sit on the balcony We were to spend two nights but we checked out the morning of our second day there. I contacted Expedia regarding my concerns and requestesd a refund. I was told by Expedia that the Gazebo denied my request. I contacted the Gazebo directly about my concerns and my request for a refund. I have yet to hear from anyone. Overall it is the Hotel from Hell. DO NOT stay here!

Wouldn’t recommend this place. The twilight surf hotel beside it had nothing but drug addicts and ALOT of drug activity going on. Police constantly coming in the parking lot. It was chaotic. The hotel itself was uncomfortable. The beds are hard as rocks. Also, I had my room changed and it was the same. So it wasn’t just one room like this. My back is hurting so bad. Also everything is very outdated and wasn’t cleaned well. I wish I had spent the extra money and gone somewhere else so I could come in and feel comfortable in a clean, safe space with my 4 year old. I would not come back here again to stay for my vacation. Some of the people were nice to me. Get a hotel on the north side! This is the south side and not a good area at all.

The parking was a river and you couldn’t fit a suv in if you had to,, the property is not kept near and clean at all the tub was filthy I cleaned it but still felt dirty the house keeping staff didn’t do nothing to assist me in cleaning my room, I never got a trash bag for my room. I never asked them to clean I cleaned myself but I had to go to front desk both morning and ask for clean towel and wash clothes and never received a trash bag. The windows were filthy on the patio. I seriously don’t think the tub had saw any cleaner in a month or more ,, need more and better parking and why have a elevator if it is going to stay out of order,, the pictures shown for the property are EXTREMELY misleading..

Front desk clerk was not very friendly when we arrived. Room was in need of a deep cleaning. Paint chipping, smelly & most of the outlets in the room did not work. No way to take a bath since there was missing parts to the tub. If you just want a place to lay your head then have at it otherwise I would not recommend.

The hotel is the oldest disgusting, dirty neglected, it's scary to sleep there, I left that place with my little children in the middle of the night and drove back home 3 hours to sleep in a safe and clean place, it's unfortunate that companies like Expedia show these shabby places with something suitable for families is a pitiful motel for drug addicts, disgusting.

Checked in early Gwen was amazing with gettin us in a room. After seeing the room we decided to onto Walmart to purchase mop and disinfectant wipe. Every surface we cleaned was dirty on the wipe. Mopping the floor was horrific and it was black when rinsing mop. Pool chemicals were not cleaning the pool and had a cloudy white film on top of the water. Parking isn’t safe entering and exiting bc of the location.

House keeping people are removing towels daily but not replacing them. Need to followup to get new set of washed towels. For the price we are paying its not worth.

Don’t expect to check in when they say check in is. We get there at 3, they say the room is not ready they’re doing a final sweep now and they will call us shortly. We have groceries and it is 97 degrees out, after an hour we go back in since there was no call. They tell us the exact same thing as before just with a huff. 5 pm hits, we go back again. After two hours of sitting with groceries, car running. My partner finally says “don’t worry about it. We’ll find a different hotel” magically they’re “upgrading” us. From a two queen bed room to a single bed room. So it took two hours and saying we’re done for this to happen? Knowing we were sitting and waiting in the car with food for two hours, telling us they will call shortly.

This was HORRIBLE nothing like the reviews or pictures online. We took our own photos. Couldn't use the shower, had no towels, lots of damage, drug addicts and homeless people outside. There was limited parking- the staff guided us to a ramp below which made us hit a brick wall destroying 1 of our vehicles. We arrived at 5:30pm and the rooms weren't ready. At 10:50 the housekeeping was making us get out (early) pool is dirty- green and have my daughter a rash! Do not go here! Only good thing was the view.

Had a wonderful stay at the Gazebo Inn oceanfront after the 4th of July weekend!! The staff was super friendly & attentive. Our room was very clean, and the balcony gave us the view we wanted, along with rainbows!! It is an older hotel, not too expensive, and everything you could want or need was within walking distance or a very short drive. The pool & the hot tub were clean, and there is easy access to the beach. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay, very relaxing, Thank you!!

Overall, the hotel is older, but has been taken care of. The view is great. The room is nice and clean. Comfortable. My only suggestion is a cleaner pool. Might just be me, but the pool was very cloudy.

We decided to come to the beach a day early and booked this room for one night. When we got there parking was terrible and there were no sheets on the bed. The bed kept moving, found a dirty sock on the floor no towels. My daughter called it a Haunted Hotel.

For the price, it’s decent. It’s old and definitely no bells or whistles but the staff is friendly, it’s ocenfront and our room was clean. The bathroom shower needed to be cleaned better, the drain was filled with hair. The front desk lady, blonde hair, super nice and helpful!

My deposit was taken for a pea size bbq stain that could’ve been removed with bleach I will NEVER stay here again and I will inform any and everyone the same

I was a fan of its location on the beach, but it's like being in the hood and living in the projects. I wouldn't recommend it for families with small children. Bring your own cleaning supplies, as the floors hadn't been mopped in the room in a long time. There was hair and trash on the floor, and the walls were dirty. The staff were all nice and helpful, but it's very typical for the price - you get what you pay for.

This is an outdated hotel. The room I stayed in was supposed to be ocean view, it was actually a partial view to see the ocean, seen more parking lot and hotel beside me.The balcony door needed replaced as it was hard to open and shut, the railings are not safe for toddlers as my 1 year old tried to go through as soon as we go there to take a look. The pool’s color was not normal, more greenish than clear or blue. The a/c unit didn’t go below 66 and I wasn’t comfortable the whole time in the room. The floors in the room, you had to keep your shoes on or your feet would be black. Beds were comfortable and I didn’t seen any bugs in the room. Hallways were so hot and humid, you would sweat as soon as you stepped outta of your room. Parking wasn’t the greatest, main upper lot had half blocked off and never able to park there. Lower parking lot was for smaller cars, two broken down vehicles parked one with flat tires. I was glad for the elevator as this would have been a nightmare if not since I had 3 kids with me. One way in and out of lower parking deck, not really safe in my opinion. Tv remote stopped working all a sudden, but it was handled quickly with a different remote. Tub was stained and had some patched work visible to it. Ice machine wasn’t working either. The housekeeping and maintenance staff were amazing, very friendly. The front desk staff in the am was good but the night one was not really detailed on arrival and I had to ask a lot of questions.

And the owner and her husband were very nice people wonderful service. I definitely recommend this hotel I will be visiting again very soon.

Lady at front desk was rude . Pool was not open needed parts hot tub was broken so it didn’t work . It’s went downhill a lot after they got new owners .

Last year was wonderful so we came back again this year, new black lady at the desk I'd never seen before was extremely rude to my wife and we also had to wait in line for 30 minutes just to check in. Only reason I didn't make a big deal out of her being rude was for the sake of the people in line behind me; will be finding another hotel next year.

On the outside the property is dated, however the rooms are spacious and clean. Front desk agents are top tier and very pleasant to deal with. The beach is steps away from the hotel. I will book this every time because of the cleanliness and the cost just adds a double cherry. I refuse to gatekeep this diamond in the rough. You won’t be disappointed

Beware at booking here. The pictures used are obviously from when they first built it. VERY RUN DOWN AND DIRTY. THE POOL IS GREEN AND THE HOTTUB IS A JOKE! My picture of the green pool doesn’t due justice because by the time we checkout it was getting dark. But assure you it’s nasty. No one would even get in it. The rooms appear clean until you look closer. The microwave in our room was rusty the door jams were filthy. In the description it says a coffee pot in the room. And …..NO COFFEE POT in the room. Most disgusting place!!!

Employees were very nice, I will give them that. I was visiting from Connecticut to see a family member. Driving down staying the one night and diving back up to connnecticut. If I hadn’t prepaid I would not have stayed there. It needs upgrading and is very dirty. Uneven floors and seems like the building is falling apart.

When we checked in they wouldn’t let me check in because they said I needed to be 21 but Expedia didn’t tell me that. And when we got to the room there were holes in the wall and the sink was falling off the wall. The room smelled like cigarettes. We also found food in the microwave. They also never gave us our security deposit

After waiting several minutes to check in we got a room. Mold in the bathroom and floors turned the bottom of my feet black. The view from the balcony was a guy changing his van oil hitting his dog and screaming at his kids running wild and people peeing on the side of the building holding large bottles of alcohol in their hands. The hot tub was so gross I wouldnt let my toddler in it. The ocean access was perfect and parking was free. The location a block from walmart was superb. It stormed and my ceiling was leaking with small chunks of plaster falling down. Had to insist they switch me to a different room instead of water and plaster surrounding the bed my 3 year old was sleeping in. Some stains on sheets. Next room had no mold but the floor was gritty. Checked out just fine EXCEPT there was an unauthorized charge for $41.04 on my credit card - it took me calling for 4 days, leaving messages, and speaking to multiple people to get it removed (I had booked through hotels.com). I would not stay here again or recommend it to any travelers with children.

Its was so dirty. The bed had stuff all over it like crumble and stains. Everything looks good broken and Rusty. I didn't stay we checked out soon we look at the room

The property is very poorly managed. I can see the mold in the curtains and the balcony is also dirty with broken chairs. I think its the building that makes a terrible stay. Also had to spend an hour in registration just to get the room even if i already made a reservation through expedia. I suggest go for spending few more bucks on descent hotels if you want a pleasant stay.
