    The staff is excellent with great services from night to day but my rooms thermostat did not work as soon as I walked in the whole room was humid and went the fridge was leaking and no matter if you had the heat or cool on the floors remained wet it was to the point my clothes I left on the chair for the following day were moist that’s how humid the room was you get what you get for the price which I should’ve known but I didn’t expect to have such an experience again this has nothing to do with the staff but everything with the upkeep of the building and the room itself

    Stayed here for 2 nights as what one would call a “staycation”. The hotel itself is located in a rather industrial area, certainly not the prettiest area to look at, but it was easy to locate & parking was abundant. I was immediately greeted by the front desk staff, Micaela, who was AMAZING! My boyfriend and I had reserved a king size room, which we were disappointed once we entered the room, it felt almost like a “motel” on the parking lot side. The room smelled HORRIBLE, like they were trying to conceal a musty/mildew odor with cleaning products and heavy bleach, which caused an instant headache. We kindly approached Micaela at the front desk about the issues we were having and we were immediately helped and the issue was quickly resolved! On the river side, it was much more welcoming and felt less like a “motel”. The hotel overall was clean and upscale & perfect for a weekend stay.

    The rooms were swampy wet from humidity the staff were rude and dismissive when I complained about the room the restaurant next door was noisy a horrible experience and stay I cut my stay by 2 days because of how bad it was I would not recommend it to anyone

    The hotel was way over priced for only 4 days 3 nights! In Expedia my receipt total is $478.24 but the actual total my card was charged and the total Fourpoints emailed me on their receipt is $482.54. My card was charged $50 twice for the hold so it's pending $100 instead of $50. I checked out Sunday the 17th and 1 of the $50 is still pending. The halls smelled bad like urine. The walls were really thin! I could hear people next door in both sides of the room. The breakfast was just ok cold hard biscuits.

    Nice friendly staff. Food is overpriced, but that is kind of to be expected. Pool area was nice. The rooms need tlc. My shower door kept opening up in the middle of the shower. I had to prop it with my foot, or get the entire bathroom floor drenched. Some of the trim on the doors needed replacing. there were sections missing and bad drywall repairs done throghout the room.

    Mikaela at the front desk was so nice and had a huge smile when greeted me! Room super clean, great view to watch the boats pass while drinking coffee on the deck or inside. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the amenities and property was because the pools were being renovated and the gym was small. Other than that great place to stay!

    The room and staff are just ok however, I was extremely disappointed in not having at least a free continental breakfast! Sure, you can buy breakfast for $15 but considering the price you pay to stay here, that’s ridiculous for a Four Points hotel! I’ve stayed at Four Points before and had a much better experience than this one. I will not stay here again.

    The lobby area was nice and I liked that there was plenty of seating. I sat by the windows overlooking the canal and read, while I waited for the rest of my group to be ready to check out. The room and the bathroom were updated. I loved the coffee bar and liked that there was a bar in the hotel, although I didn't have the opportunity to go since it was a short stay for us. There was trash on the floor in front of the check-in desk both when I checked in and when I checked out. When I checked in it wasn't busy at all, so the front desk staff could easily have taken the time to sweep the area that welcomes guests. The walls in my room were a little dirty. I didn't love the sliding bathroom door; although it locked, it didn't feel very private - I felt like the rest of the people in my room could hear me in the bathroom.

    The state of the elevators, halls, and rooms was poor. Our room had painters tap on the wall and was in a state of disrepair. We were also kept up through the night by loud noises coming from both the hallway and the room next door. It’s a good hotel if you need a cheap place to stay a night or two and don’t plan on being in the hotel much. It’s close to things to do, so that was a benefit.

    The tv would not work and when maintenance came to try and fix it he suggested that we change rooms because it was going to take him a while to figure out what happened. He called the front desk and they told him that they were sold out. We packed out belongings to go downstairs and once we were about to get on the elevator he called back to us that he did something and got it to work. This to me show that they only cleaned it and didn’t make sure things were working properly before assigning it to a guest. Now we had to bring all of our stuff back to the room.

    Clean There was this guest talking in the hallways very loudly n rude. It was about 10 at night. It lasted at least an hour. We could hear in our room even with our door closed. We told the staff at front desk about her. I was too tired n fell asleep so not sure if anyone took care of the problem.

    Over all a nice place to stay. Staff was great. It’s a bit dated, but nothing horrible. Clean and comfortable.     I was honestly surprised that this hotel had such great reviews. On the surface it looks like a great hotel upon walking in, but we encountered many problems (and we aren’t picky). When we were in the lobby we noticed staff wearing gloves and spraying the walls to wipe them down. When we got to the first room we were given, the walls were “sweating/dripping” and when we pulled back the covers to lay on the beds our backs got wet! Wet! The room was extremely damp and soggy. We immediately grabbed our stuff and went back to the lobby where we noticed a freestanding air-conditioning unit in the middle of the lobby. It must have been there because they were having problems regulating the moisture levels. The second room we were given was also damp but not as bad as the first one. All of us woke up with sore throats and coughs from the room, but we didn’t switch because we were moving our daughter into college and drove 12.5 hours to get there. If you have asthma or are allergic to mold you will definitely be exposed due to the dampness.

    This was one of the most disappointing Marriott properties I have ever encountered. The lobby AC was either not functioning or not functioning properly. The lobby was hot, stuffy and sticky. The room was not clean. There was a dirty hand towel that had been left on the floor in the closet. There was what looked like a blood stain on the sheet of one of the beds and there was what looked like blood stains on the duvet of the other bed. There were obvious chips and cracks in the shower, the shower door was not completely secured and there appeared to be mold on the ceiling. I have pictures of all of this. After a long day of travel, switching rooms was just not what I had the patience for so my son and I slept in his campus housing. I attempted to have dinner at the "restaurant" which was nothing more than microwaved bar food. I ordered the hummus platter and was given wilted veggies and store bought hummus. It was so disappointing. I will never stay at another Sheraton and I'm seriously reconsidering any future stays at Marriott affiliated properties.

    Completely False Advertising by Expedia!! I love to soak before bed and booked this room only because Expedia advertised this property has “deep soaking tubs”. They DO NOT. I was checked into two separate rooms with only showers (front desk was clueless) and finally checked into one with a standard tub.     The property was very humid. The rooms have small refrigerators in them that leak condensation if the room is not kept at a low enough temperature. I asked to have the refrigerator removed as it only added to the humidity in the room. The first room I was assigned smelled musty and had black mold hiding behind the curtains. I alerted the front desk staff as soon as I realized there was mold in my room and they immediately assigned me a new room that smelled completely different and clean. I am shocked that the hotel staff (cleaning and maintenance) who are in and out of the rooms every day did not raise an issue with the way my original room smelled compared to other rooms. Or perhaps they had raised issues but the hotel management chose to rent the room anyway. The second room I was assigned smelled better but also had a small amount of mold in the bathroom and had such a high level of humidity, all of my clothes felt damp. I would not stay at this property again, nor would I recommend it.

So told front desk and the two ladies just stood there and said ok...didn't offer to get cups or anything. I stole some from the lobby coffee station.     Room was okay. Limited outlets. Staff at check-in were very accommodating and nice. Staff in morning.. complete opposite. Hotel is located in a rundown area polluted with graffiti, litter and some shady (kind word) people. Had your typical hoodlums in 80 degree weather wearing hoodies with the hoods up and pants hanging off their bottoms walk pass me while staring me down trying to intimidate me, not wanting to share the sidewalk walking into the property as I was walking in the opposite direction. The place seems to cater to this population as it is located in this type of neighborhood. Not a safe or inviting place.

    What I had to go on when selecting a room in this hotel was the photos and the rating. I was expecting an above average hotel. I believe the rating was at least 89 and the pictures I’ve previewed of the room were excellent. The room was plain, and nothing to get excited about. My main issues are. The use of the secondary AC unit on the floor. In the bath room There was a broken baseboard tile that looks like it might’ve been molded. The bathroom floor was painted black. And when, using the shower, the water leaked on the floor. The two points Sheraton was a waste of money.

    This hotel was so refreshing! We were greeted by such a clean smell, unlike the last place...skunk weed! I recognized the renovations as the same in the Convention Center. I love the minimalistic scale of the furniture (does anybody ever really use all those drawers?). Nice river view (could use 2 chairs on the balcony) This time to hot to sit there. Only slight problem was need more coffee. I just asked the staff and was provided more, however, the next day none was replenished. Definitely would stay here again!

    Came with my husband as a sort of honeymoon. The room was super clean. The bathroom was very clean and very nice. The bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony wasn’t very exciting but it was still nice to sit out on and watch the sunset together.     Everything was great. The staff, the facilities are great. The only improvement would be an electrical outlet near the head of bed. Everything else was great.

    Needed some serious mopping and visitors in the other room were extremely loud and marijuana smell was everywhere and people were so loud up until midnight to 1 o’clock in the morning if not later.

    Staff was not wearing earbuds this time. They were very attentive and friendly. Even put a note in to housekeeping, to not disturb us. The young dark headed bartender was so nice and attentive. Sorry, i forgot her name. The food was a little disappointing. I expected more. The mashed potatoes had no flavor real flavor. The salmon was alright, ive had much better. The sauteed spinach was VERY GOOD. I still give them 5 stars. The place is clean, beds are THE most comfotable ive ever slept in. Its quiet and off the beaten path!

    Downside-room had musty smell. Glad we had room air freshener. Our “riverview” blocked by roof covering indoor pool. And outlets not updated and convenient for phone/ipad chargers.

    Check in was a good experience, the lobby, bar, and restaurant looked nice and clean. Nice looking pool and exercise area, but I did not use. The room was in ok shape, the carpet was at the end of it's life and the wallpaper looked like it was installed to cover a poor repair. The lighting in the room was poor and needed upgrading. On the better side, the bathroom was nice, good shower, sink area, and was clean.

    The hotel was great-the rooms were great and comfortable the hotel is actually on the water so if you are looking for serenity and peacefulness this is that hotel. If you are looking for a bit of the night life - you can walk over to the restaurant they have live music. If not stay in the hotel and go down to their restaurant and bar -the food was great and so was the drinks.

    Love this hotel! Stay here all the time for business! Love the balconies and The View. Wish they would fix the mold problem behind the wallpaper near the balcony doors. Sometimes run out of coffee in the mornings which is not convenient but not the end of the world. I love the bartenders at the bar and the food! Great place, I'll continue to stay there!
