    Room was clean. Nice selection for breakfast. Only complaint was we stayed 3 nights and they didn’t come in and check the trash, change out our towels, or make the bed. We had to track down housekeeping to get a few wash cloths. Staff was friendly. Overall a nice stay.

    Bathroom is VERY small, as in, no counter space for a girl’s toiletries and makeup!! The outlet in our bathroom was a little hinky, so I was careful to watch with my hair dryer, so there would be no fire. The room itself was good!!

    Unfortunately, that’s where it ended. There is no way that this facility should be included in the Fairfield or Marriott portfolio. It was dirty, beat up, not well maintained and smelled horrible. I literally left and found somewhere else to stay.

    This property is a very good value for the money. The staff was very friendly, the bed and pillows very comfortable, room was clean. It is obviously an older style hotel, but freshly painted outside the building and inside the rooms. The Sunday breakfast was very good, the scrambled and hard boiled eggs are cage free. They offered turkey sausage and regular sausage patties. The coffee was good too, fresh and hot. I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

    I thought it was a great hotel. The people who serve you are friendly but their problem lies very seriously in the rooms. They are not clean. They smell very bad of a lot of dust. My husband and I absolutely love the mattress. The king is amazing. Breakfast and coffee, the pool was super clean and warm. Truly top notch hotel. And price was perfect

    Our stay was horrible. Smelly room, damp, broken bath fixtures, ice machines non-opertative, and just a poorly maintained room/property. This is one hotel that we couldn't wait to exit from. The location was great in proximity to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment, but that's all. The staff was friendly, professional, and cordial. This property's lack of any kind of upgrades/ repairs/ remodel needs to be addressed by the owners. I was so disappointed in our accommodations.

    Made a reservation a month ago and called yesterday to say we would check in early evening. Hotel said ok. Got there and was told no more rooms left in our class. Given a handicapped room. Offered to pay for a better room and was told no more rooms available. AC made a whiny motor sound like birds chirping. Guy tried to fix. Made sound all night long. Could not sleep so left. Very disappointed as we normally like the Fairfield. Feel like we should be compensated.

    Super old. No upgrades. Pictures of this place were filtered. Very deceiving ! Moisture was at such high levels the carpet and our beds were damp. Room smelled like mold and chorine. Bathroom outdated. No plug in bath tub. Just gave off a nasty feeling. Didn’t eat breakfast. Only good part was the staff at the front desk were very professional and extremely welcoming. We did not complain to them because it was not their fault that the building was crumbling at their feet and had major maintenance issues that were not problems they could solve or they could do anything about. Never coming back nor will I ever recommend anyone to stay there.

    The bathroom was dirty with long black hair all over the back of the door and in the bathtub, and within 2 days, i saw large bugs/ roaches 3 times. I Avised the staff at the counter as i was leaving, she did not seem concerned. The toilet wouldn4 flush when i areived at the hotel and i had to fix the chain that connects to the flapper. i additionally showed a picture of one of the huge roaches to the lady, and she didn't seem to care. So as far as ratings, great location, good price, but that proce is for a very good reason folks.

    The website is VERY MISLEADING! I have stayed at this same hotel a few years ago and it was beautiful! The hotel has now been painted white with a blue streak across the front of it. The rooms now have grey and black carpet with red and orange sheer curtains with no curtains in front to shut or block out the light and the bedspreads are orange. The room smelled musty. We were in a handicapped room which somehow I clicked on by mistake. The sink in the bathroom was screwed into the wall with 2 pieces of wood holding it up. No counter space to put any toiletry items. The pipes were exposed. When you get off of the elevator, you are greeted with a fan blowing down the hallway. This DOES NOT represent what MARRIOTT has always been known for. I will say that the room appeared to be clean in spite of the unattractive look. Also, the hotel was not full. This was not a good sign considering the busy weekend. I will not be staying there again.

    Mattress were not comfy at all and seen some ROACHES in room and the toilet was unstable. When asked for an extra towel waited for few hrs nothing was served so we had decided to leave the hotel day early :(

    My stay was okay! The rooms were not ready at check-in time! There was a musty smell in some of my family's rooms. A small amount of mildew in the shower that was just caulked over. Not my worst stay but not the best either! Star was wonderful though!

    On arrival the surface area (desk and dresser drawer were dirty) and the sheets had red spots. They were only able to accommodate with a room change the next day. And the new room was awful too ( the tub paint was peeling, body soap was empty ). Building condition poor( elevator ceiling lights missing, scratched up surfaces) . Luggage carrier falling apart. Not at all worth the money!! Front desk phone not working. Horrible!!

    Well there was hair in the sink, toilet and tv stand. Then the next day the towels had hair on it. Then one of the hand towels and hair tangled up on it this was the third day.     Our first impression was "what a great hotel". After being in our room for nine days things changed. Firstly, the door to our room was impossible to shut and to open. My wife found it impossible to open after we had left and returned to our room. Secondly the accounting for our room charges were definitely questionable, not only from Fairfield but from Hotels.com. I will NEVER give my credit card number to a hotel it will be cash from now on. Apparently, a guaranteed hotel reservation at an agreed to price meant nothing. Room service also needed improved. In nine days, we had our room serviced once and that at our request. In our opinion Fairfield is poorly managed and in dire need of some major renovations.

    There was nothing I liked about the property and my experience with the night employee Jesse was beyond worst nightmare. He was rude and unprofessional. Jesse seen that I paid with a different employee named Karen and then he said that I didn’t pay gave me the run around told me he couldn’t help meI mean it just was a lot. Especially for me to drive 10 hours with my children. The room was dirty the water ran from the toilet all night. And Inwas told the hotel was ocean front and come to find out it was no where near the ocean I was told the hotel had a kitchen in the room it didn’t so it was false advertisement as well and I would definitely like to receive my money back.

    I never made to the hotel because when booking the room for some reason the date was wrong. I call the hotel in order to change the date and they said it's not their problem and I should contact Expedia that was even worse.     I feel violated after paying to stay in such a filthy hotel. I have stayed at this exact location several times though the past 10 years. We expected things to be outdated and settled with this location to keep our young children away from broadway at the beach chaos. I’m shocked that this place is legally able to stay in business as I feel it is a health hazard. I booked through a third party agency so I could not get a refund. The filth was over the top. Old guy in my sheets. Hair in the bed. What appeared to be mold behind the mattress on the corner of the room. Missing molding. The carpet was black looking and the entire place smelled like a wet dog. I didn’t even bother to take a shower. The hotel was loud. I could hear people flushing their toilets. I wanted my money back so badly as I could have had a better experience at a motel 6 for half the price that I paid for an overpriced filthy hotel. The issue was not anything other than filth. You can have a hotel that is needing to be updated and still maintain cleanliness.

    The staff was outstanding: professional, welcoming, and helpful when we questioned our placement in a room that was less than acceptable. Tub in need of repair,,open drain and no shower curtain! This room was located on the 2nd floor while the rest of our family were placed on 3rd floor. Their rooms clean, appeared freshly painted, very clean. Room on 2nd floor dingy and ill-prepared for guests. Th manager on duty acknowledged our concern and moved us to a third-floor room.

    Great AC, old hotel. Our room didn’t have a shower curtain but our stay was a quick sleep so it didn’t really matter. Certain the staff would have kindly fixed it, they were incredibly friendly at all stops. Breakfast was great and ran till 10a with no quick clean up or rush out.

    The free breakfast was a plus, it ended a little early, but still a plus. Our only issue was on our last night there we requested room service (new towels, bed made, etc.), and when we returned after a long day our bed hadn't been made.

    Beds Should be Queen beds at least and the Receptionist had two color contacts One White one tan. I asked her if I could get a container of milk for my Grandson she told to go to the Kitchen and help myself I had to go thru the Refrig. myself

    The hotel is ok. Needs tlc for sure. Our stay overall was ok but we got roll-in shower which kind of off expectations and we were ready to leave as early we could. Since they were completely booked we had no option to change room as well.

    Stayed for two nights. Nothing particularly special about the hotel itself. The pictures are a little deceptive the place has some newer renovations but isn’t as nice as the pictures make it out to be. All in all a decent stay for the price and good for a couple night stay.
