Good stay overall! First time staying here, Staff was friendly and made check in easy! Only thing they need are individual microwaves in the rooms! I don’t know if others come with one but ours did NOT & with little kids this was a bit inconvenient being on the 3rd flood having to gather them as well as food to go down to the main lobby to warm anything up!!

The staff were absolutely amazing! Every one of them we encountered! The room was clean and the AC worked well. Breakfast was okay. Lots of variety and loved the mini waffle option. Our room was directly above the front door which was automatic so it was pretty loud when it opened and closed but that was our only issue.

It was equipped with comfortable bed, basic toiletries, TV, pillows, and clean sheets, duvet, or blankets, fresh bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash or soap, and lotion and air conditioner.

Almost everything. Jacuzzi looked a little scary although it might have been alright. Breakfast was definitely weak compared to quite a few Holiday Inn Express and others that feature but better than the bargin hotels. Price was definitely up there for non beach accommodations but that is the norm these days.

Check in was prompt and courteous, room was clean and comfortable. The only minor thing was that the shower was a bit slippery buy the water pressure and temperature was very good. Breakfast was good and well attended. This is a good place for a longer stay

The people who give this hotel five stars are delusional. There is nothing excellent about it. The best part of the stay was the interaction with the staff - they were all helpful and friendly. The hotel itself needs major updates; everything is dated. What attempts at up keep are not executed well as they really just applied fresh coats of paints. The room had a musty smell to it. The bathtub floor was stained brown. The hot tub was so gross looking even my child wouldn’t get in it. The pool was gross as well. Most days, the hallway reeked of pot. The breakfast (waffles) were good.

The pool and the hot tub were closed. They were being painted. I specifically booked the hotel because of the pool and hot tub and the location. No compensation was offered by the hotel for this inconvenience. The room was OK. It smelled a little bit like mold. There was hair on the wall of the shower that had not been cleaned. The breakfast was good. The manager at the front desk was exceptional and was so vivacious. The location was good. The room was very quiet. The blackout curtains worked fine. Hotel had enough parking spaces. I checked for bedbugs and there were none. I would stay there again, but only if the pool and hot tub are open.

The stay at Fairfield was average. Breakfast was average. Staff I feel could have been a bit more helpful when asking questions about places to eat. Parking was good.

Had a very nice day at the hotel. It was quiet the rooms were clean and the bed was ultra comfortable. I enjoyed the breakfast and eating it by the pool or by the pond in the back. Plenty of wildlife around and close to the beach and Broadway on the beach. I was there too is it a family member but I also made time for myself as well. Nice day would definitely come back. Love the 24-hour free coffee as well 😁

The breakfast. It was just the sausage and gravy it was too soupy.

Location was great! Facilities were clean. Beds were uncomfortable. Breakfast was so so but they start pulling all items at 930am promptly. Witnessed someone making waffles and they pulled the syrup before she had a chance to use it, when she asked the attendant for syrup, the employee gave her an attitude. Hallways were warm. A lot of teenagers hanging around at night in the lobby and outside making it very uncomfortable. Parking lot lights were not very bright in the parking lot.

Excellent facility and will stay again. Breakfast was great with multiple choices. Room was well presented and all items for usage were supplied and accessible. The body lotion, the shampoo and can not comment on conditioner because I didn’t use. Body wash lacked suds and feeling it was not cleaning. The bar of soap supplied was better than the liquid body wash. Shampoo lacked the same feeling as the body lotion.

This property was okay! It seemed a bit dated and had a smell. Staff however were very kind and polite!

The hot tub had black residue in it. I asked for room on 1st floor and one that had grab bar by toilet due to a hip and back issue but was given room on 3rd floor with no grab bar. Asked to be moved and was told nothing available. Beds were very soft and uncomfortable but housekeeping was wonderful. Breakfast was same every day… no variety in 5 days. Parking was great and plentiful. We booked a suite but was told that since we booked through 3rd party they could not upgrade rooms even though all I asked for was 1st floor and accessible.

They need to keep things replenished as well. Plenty of towels in the bathroom, hot water but the toilet kept running after flushing. The area is walkable to Broadway at the Beach. There are restaurants and shops. Close to theaters in the area as well. Would stay here again.

I called down the day before I booked and specifically asked if the hot tub and pool were open the person I spoke to said yes, both were open and after driving 700 miles come to find out that both were closed and I stayed there for three nights and never once was brought fresh towels or even the garbage picked up from the room during the entire stay

The lady at fairfield in saved me from a night of sleeping in the car after being scammed by qauil inn down in myrtle beach. I showed up at 11pm at night looking for a room abd she was so nice and got me in a room in no time for a reasonable rate. Great room service. will stay there next time as well!

Staff super friendly! Hotel very nice looking and clean! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was the shower there wasnt a seal at the bottom of the shower door a water was all over the floor had to use xtra towel to soak it up.

The hotel was walking distance to the boardwalk.

Tv did not work properly .no internet working. Air conditioner unit was loud n didn’t shut down. Big bug crawling in bathroom and dated rooms. Disappointing for a Marriott line

We stayed at this hotel previously and it was nice, so we figured we would stay here again. Stick with me here, you might read something interesting. We checked in and the desk lady was nice. We got to the room and it was not the king size bedroom we booked. I double check my booking at it said king room. Went back downstairs to speak with the lady at the desk. I politely asked why we were put in a double queen room and not a king. After a chuckle she said they didn’t have a room for that night and my booking through Expedia must be wrong. I showed her my booking invoice. She then told me that was all she would do and contact Expedia to resolve the issue. I went back up and chatted with the hotels.com online agent. They called on my be half which was kinda cool. Apparently she told them that this was an upgrade from what I paid for. Not the case, a king and double queen booked at the same price when I made the reservation (no cancellation policy too). So she lied to the poor person on the phone and all but laughed in my face. It was pretty clean. One pillow case was kinda orange and there was some sort of stain on the the other beds fitted sheet. You don’t get very good cell service in your room, even with all the cell antennas over broadway. Hotel.com gave me a 25 point credit, that was nice and I appreciate it. So thumbs up for hotels.com and thumbs down for the desk lady. So, first stay brought us back, but this one has run us off. This might be a isolated case but beware.

It was close to all the attractions we wanted to go. Also close to my family for visiting. The room was very clean. The staff very friendly and gave us good advice regarding dinner planning and attractions. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

I was depending on that sleep because I had an 8-hour drive ahead of me. Due to the ongoing noise and the stress, I had to leave early and ended up driving with a major headache. I wanted to bring this to your attention, as it significantly impacted my stay and travel experience

The hotel was nice and everything was good. The room clean the bed goes sheet clean the pillow every day they change the sheets and they’re so good nice hotel. I recommended a lot of people to all my friend.

This hotel wasn’t horrible but it could have been better. The front doors get stuck as you walk into the lobby. The hot tub water was literally brown and the pool water was cloudy. I booked this hotel for the amenities but we weren’t able to use them. Our bathroom sink had a putrid smell coming from it. So bad that we couldn’t stand to brush our teeth. Luckily we only had to endure for one night. The room was clean. The breakfast was decent but the lady cleaning the bar was extremely rude. You could tell she hated her job. Front desk staff were very nice and friendly though!

Well, at first property was fine. Then they had a fire going on which scared the life out of me inconvenience me my sister 79 years old was staying there and it was not a good thing. It really made her pressure go up and made her not feel good after that. The alarm went off not once, but twice made her go out her room two times with a scare of her life so that’s what made it not be good so I would like to know if I can be compensated for that

Definitely not up to the standards I look for with a Marriott $268 for one night and the place had a few attempts of updating but definitely not Marriott worthy. Corporate please upgrade this facility . Who is in charge of the appearance. My headboard was shorter than my mattress… the bathroom sink is outside the super small bathroom. My goodness, the place reminds me of a motel that someone tried to turn into a hotel. It was the worst property with the Marriott name that I have EVER traveled to and, and I travel a lot! Please, if anything remove the terrible blue off the front of the building. I can’t believe how half complete this location is. So much I want to say but will not. Others who stay here who ARE familiar with a Marriott property … prepare yourself! However for those who stay at a motel typically, you will love it.

Easy access to all areas of interest for our trip. Breakfast was decent. Waffles (long line to make), pork sausages, oatmeal, eggs, gravy, yogurt, milk, coffee, etc. Will definitely be booking again

We were graciously checked in a few hours early which was so appreciated especially with 2 young children during a holiday weekend. I do wish they would shampoo the carpets or renovate and put in tile. Our one year old was crawling on the floor and the tops of her feet/knees were black. Overall, breakfast was good and staff was very accommodating.

2. Room very humid so towels don't dry. Temp has to be 65 to combat the humidity. 3. Room refresh was spotty. I requested towels daily because they didn't dry. 4. Most staff were friendly. 5. Great location being just across from Broadway at the Beach. 6. Fireworks every night from 10-10:15p bothersome if you're an early to bed type. 7. Breakfast palatable but no meat variety. I was there for six breakfasts. For four, the meat was only turkey sausage. The other two, a low quality pork sausage was added. Powder eggs only. No grits.

I enjoyed the front desk staff especially Joe and a very friendly African American young lady they were both very jovial and I felt welcomed by them. The interior of my room had a torn curtain in which I had to keep the heaviest curtains closed for security purposes. Otherwise, it's a nice property and I will visit again.

Was walking distance to Broadway at the beach lots of dining options, attractions, etc. Staff was amazing. Especially Kenyetta. I arrived several hours before check-in and she went out of her way to accommodate us.

Poor customer service

The staff and the hotel lived up to the ratings it has recieved. The staff was very accommodating, the grounds, lonby and rooms were well kept. The only thing that could be improved on is the breakfast. But we arrived to breakfast late so that could have been part.of the problem..

This was our second time staying at the FairField. Even though the rooms need a little upgrading, it was comfortable for our one night stay. We love that the property offers free breakfast and it is walking distance to Broadway At The Beach- which has live music, shops, activities, bars, and somewhere for the kids to play while we sat back and enjoyed it all. We’ll definitely be returning.

Front desk staff very friendly and prompt. Bathroom door placement poor, had to close the door to access shower.

I guess I accidentally booked the wrong night and had to pay for another night that we actually stayed. Not a good start to a weekend.

Typical hotel. Standard double bed room with a fridge and decent TV. However, customer service was lacking. I purchased a $5 20 ounce soda, from the front desk. It ended up being a month and a half beyond the expiration date. It was flat. Even though staffing does not have full control of guests, kids did knock on our door and run, in the middle of the night. The worst part? The breakfast was decent, but the staff was not. As I was making my plate, a staff member barked at me, in a very rude manner, about where to put the tongs after I was done. I understand it can be frustrating when a customer does not place the tongs back into the provided tray... But don't get ugly with your customers. Definitely when they have done no wrong. Our two night stay was changed to a one night. I decided to lose the cost of the second night and find a much better hotel. I'm thankful for the Hampton, right at Broadway. If Marriott supports this level of poor customer service, they do not deserve your money. Maybe this employee just had a bad day... But it's impact is everlasting. Marriott did nothing to help resolve the issue. They claimed they would document my issues and work on making things better. So stay at your own risk. Like I said... This could have been a once in a lifetime thing, but it did not set well with us. My small kids were right beside me, as well. Not good...

Is in a location right across from the broadway and kits 7 miles away from Myrtle beach. Good for families.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was just little things like some of the building on the inside needs to be repaired. There was a crack in the wall above our shower and loose mirrors hanging off the wall. Our room was very clean though and all of the hotel staff was nice to us. Especially Anita when we went to check out of our room. The ladies in the kitchen were very nice as well. The breakfast was nice but I feel that there could have been some more options. I would stay here again if we went back to Myrtle Beach in the future.
