Reviews
The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating its location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. However, there are complaints about hidden fees, poor customer service, and maintenance issues in some rooms.
- Great location, especially for beach access
- Clean and spacious rooms
- Hidden fees and extra charges
- Poor customer service and communication

Great for families with children, my grandchildren loved it.

I was most pleased with the property’s location. It was situated on a quieter part of the beach, which made for a relaxing experience and allowed us to enjoy peaceful, safe walks along the shore. --- The property was extremely outdated, and the rooms were not clean. I paid for an ocean-view room on the 19th floor, but the overall condition did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, I was informed that there would be no housekeeping service during my stay and that I would need to call the front desk if I needed anything. The carpet in the room was old and visibly dirty, and the bathroom floor was sticky. I ended up using my own cleaning supplies just to make the bathroom feel usable. I did not feel comfortable sleeping under the sheets at any point during my stay because everything felt unclean. The lack of cleanliness extended beyond the room. There were food particles on the hallway floor that remained there for three days without being cleaned. This level of neglect was very disappointing. To make matters worse, I never received a summary of my bill via email, which added to the frustration of the experience.

Breakfast offered many food choices, including omelets made to order. Beautiful facilities and resort area. The staff was friendly and helpful. The ocean views were fantastic. The pool was wide and inviting, with plenty of poolside spaces. The small extra charge for outside parking was unnecessary, but not excessive.
- 2/5
First off when we got there we got there with the impression that we have rented one particular room which was facing the beach when I went to the front desk the person said we have this room or we have their room you only have two choices and that's how we have seven of all the carpets are dirty third of all the rooms are idated and are small for us to be paid $1,000 for two days it's not worth it . The only thing display has going on is the pools and the slides and the beach that's the only thing that this place has going on other than that save your money

Breakfast was good Smelled Marijuana alot. Bad smell.
- 2.5/5
I liked that it was private/secluded location. I did love the breakfast, there was a lot to choose from & the staff did a great job keeping up with wiping tables and getting them cleared off for the next person. The view was great and outdoor pool was phenomenal and I loved that there were pool towels to use on property. I hated that we didn’t have clean towels when we needed them the next day, so we had to use our beach towels, thankfully I did bring several. Staff wasn’t very friendly except the one lady working the checkout stand near the gift shop, an older lady with blonde hair. We had a bad experience at Black Drum but I will say they did give us a discount to try and make it right. Getting through to hotel staff on phone was an absolutely nightmare!!! I’m still trying to get ahold of someone to find out why my full deposit was not returned. It’s $67 additional dollars to stay here per day for resort fee & parking fee, I expected some but that was quite a bit. Other thing I called the day after we left & left a message with the gift shop and call still hasn’t been returned, it’s been 4 days. Our drains were clogged in shower & sink and there was a clear plastic bra container under the dresser when we got there. I work in a hotel myself so I try to never complain but when you’re paying $1400 for 3 nights, I expect quality everything.
- 4/5
We had a great stay. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Good service. I only feel that the hotel rooms and hallways could have been cleaned better. I cringe when I see dirt on baseboards and this was seen everywhere. I let that go and really enjoyed myself. Beautiful hotel and activities. Everyone seemed very happy and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. Have recommended this place to several friends already.
- 3/5
The location, the views, the staff was super friendly and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. The room was old in appearance, stains in two different spots on the carpet, mold by the each end of the bathtub and the kitchen table was deteriorating across the top...I wouldn't buy it at a garage sale. The locks on the sliding doors to the balcony didn't work at all. We had to get someone to bring us wash clothes and towels the last night because our room was not tended to for the entire three night stay. Definitely not what I expected for a $400 a night "Resort".

We loved the pool and the shuttle service!
- 5/5
Great location. Everything we needed was right there. We loved it.
- 5/5
Excellent resort all around.
- 5/5
Everything was great! Property showed its age but wasn't that big of a deal. Our family had a great time and enjoyed the pool immensely. Only problem was having 3 young kids the water slides looked awesome but none of my kids were tall enough to ride a single one. We booked solely because of the slides but in the end we still ended up having a great time.

Superb
- 5/5
Our room was clean, the view on the 14th floor, pool side - ocean front beach view was phenomenal. The hotel staff were all really great, and the breakfast was amazing! We will most definitely have to go back!! We had so much fun!
- 5/5
Awesome stay!
- 2/5
The room is small did not have a full kitchen . Room was next to all axhaust hood of the hotel kitchen make a lot of noise and smell. Book month in advance but still get the worst room, check in was 4:00 pm but have to wait until 6:30pm. Would not want to come back or recommend to any friends.
- 5/5
We were upgraded without asking. The bartenders were wonderful. All the staff was great

Everything Service and food quality at the Black Drum restaurant.
- 4/5
The breakfast was excellent. So, many choices and a lot of seating. Our beach view from our room was perfect. The three sliding doors was a great touch. The elevators were slow and at times there was a long wait to get up to our room and back down to the lobby. Overall, we would come back & stay there again. Highly recommend this place.
- 5/5
The grounds, hotel and pool area were great! Staff was very friend and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was a bonus. Cleanliness needs a little work, food was left in the elevator lobby on my floor for 2+ days on a table in plain sight. Other than that, I would go back.
- 5/5
One of the best breakfast you can have at a hotel. The pool was nice. Our view was a great view of the beach
- 1/5
Clean and good place for vacation.
- 5/5
Nothing I love everything!
- 5/5
Everything! My fav place to stay at when I visit myrtle beach! Nothing I love everything!
- 5/5
Great property location with easy access to the beach. The pool and resort style amenities make you feel like your on a island vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The breakfast chefs were extremely efficient and super attentive. Will be definitely going back again and have recommended to others.
- 4/5
Had a personal pillow removed by cleaning staff that was not addressed or returned which was disappointing. Had a car for transportation otherwise quite a distance from main attractions of Myrtle beach. Hotel quiet. Elevators often had lengthy wait times to get to your room.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Everything was presentable. Did a great job getting the cops to remove th e drunk from our floor after he fought with a child. Had to ask maid service for basic essentials. Also hotel didn't notice someone who was drunk wondered to the 18th floor.

Those place is too busy and everything cost extra that is not explained clearly when booking. Hotel is way over priced, ac doesn't go below 71 in the room making sleeping uncomfortable if you like it cold when sleeping . Will never stay again

- 5/5
The amenities were amazing. Great room and all the staff were so kind and helpful.
- 5/5
The cocktail reception & the breakfast were both fantastic! Loved the options & the helpful & friendly staff
- 3/5
This should be a 3-star hotel! Nothing about this place except for the ‘no noise’ AC in the room makes it worth spending extra money on this property!
- 5/5
Everything was nice and clean. Staff were excellent. Pools were clean.

Great for a weekend getaway. My kids love it ...
- 5/5
My boyfriend and I came down for a night to go to the House of Blues. We were arriving early so I called ahead to see if we could check in early. Check in was a breeze, I wish I knew the front desk ladies name to give her a shout out. She was so accommodating. The room was breath taking with amazing views! We stayed on the 16th floor with a wrap around view. I loved the windows in the bathroom, such beautiful lighting. Since we got to check in early we were able to go check out the restaurant by the pool, Black drum. We got a pizza and the Mac n cheese topped with shredded chicken. We arrived back to the hotel after our concert around 10, we stopped by the bar downstairs to order a snack off the late night menu. It’s a very small menu but it was enough for a late night snack to hold us over till breakfast. The tenders were really good! Sunday morning we woke up and got down to the breakfast at 7; a lot of good options the food was really fresh. Best continental breakfast I’ve had! Since we came down for the concert we didn’t have time the day before to enjoy the beach or the pool, so after breakfast we went down to enjoy the hot tub and walked out on the beach before check out. We really loved the atmosphere and look forward to coming back to be able to enjoy a longer stay.
- 4/5
The beach was beautiful. Staff were great and the concierge was great too.
- 1/5
Staff waa completely unhelpful, rude, and misinformed.
- 5/5
My family and I love this resort. We started coming here April 2025 and we’ve now been 4 times. Is an amazing resort, the staff is very friendly, food is good, all the amenities are very well maintained.
- 4/5
A little outdated but overall a nice stay. The breakfast and complimentary drinks were a nice touch. Great view. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
This is the only hotel we will stay at when we travel to the beach. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and all of the staff was helpful and super nice.
- 5/5
The breakfast was the best I have ever had. The lobby was very clean and smelled wonderful! The pool area was beautiful!
- 5/5
Thank you so much for listening and for being such an amazing manager Mary. Believe you me, if I’m ever in Myrtle Beach again, I would definitely stay here. I just wanted to make sure you were aware of what’s going on with the room!
- 3/5
Breakfast was great. The pool was good the outside pool. But the inside pool the chemicals was very strong couldnt take it.
- 3/5
The breakfast was filled with candy for the kids to load up on no nutritious options. The candy is shoved in their face at the entrance and also there is a whipped cream, sprinkles, chocolate syrup, marshmallows, and gummy‘s for breakfast. It wasn’t worth a fight with the kids. They instantly loaded up on all the sugar. I think it shouldn’t be offered for breakfast.
- 1/5
Once we checked out we was told that the hold would be released as long as there was no incidentals in the room. 2 days later the $140 post to the account there is still an outstanding charge of $40 that's pending. This is my concern your parking should be a flat rate and that should be disclosed to each person that comes in when they check in so we know the exact amount per day how much is parking along with your resort fees that should be a flat rate as well that amount should also be disclosed per day how much you're being charged to give that person an estimate of how much their card will be charged for those two things. I feel like that information was misleading because
- 4/5
Breakfast was great and beach plus pool experience is the best deal.
- 5/5
Free breakfast is a plus. Best part of embassy stays is the made to order omelets. Property amenities were great for our birthday family trip!
- 5/5
The hotel is part of a very nice resort neighborhood that is close to a lot of interesting locations. The service was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
- 4/5
Very nice rooms and hotel
- 3/5
Good breakfast and good ocean front views, but hotel still is a little outdated even tho they just got a remodel
- 4/5
Clean room, great breakfast, nice pool and access to beach. Parking is a little annoying and scarce due to shipping containers. Overall, a great stay.
- 5/5
Breakfast was nice, loved the views and openness in the dining area. A little lack in favors and some items weren’t as favorable for kids. Overall enjoyed our breakfast experience. The pool area was great, certainly one of our favorite experiences at the property. Unfortunate that the seating areas were taken during the earlier part of the day. The DJ experience was nice and suitable for the kids/family. Certainly coming back for our next vacation.
- 5/5
Best resort I have ever stayed at on Myrtle Beach. By far!!!
- 4/5
Very Busy popular location- nice view of ocean
- 3/5
Dated and overrated
- 5/5
The room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was amazing.
- 4/5
Breakfast was excelent! Pool was amazing! There is an additional hotel fee of usd40 dollars per day, charged in the hotel.
- 5/5
Our room smelled a little mildewy. Otherwise everything else was perfect! Breakfast was great. Amenities fun and clean. The staff super friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Todo excelente excepto algunos empleados q no eran muy amables
- 4/5
Front desk workers were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet, outside and inside amenities are wonderful. The rooms, however, are very small/tight for it to sleep 6. The furniture in the sitting area is dated and the entire suite could use a DEEP cleaning. Between the cost of the room and the additional resort and parking fees, I would have expected a CLEANER more MODERN setting. It was not bad...but it was also NOT worth it. I would choose Ocean Enclave and prepare or pick up breakfast.
- 5/5
Resort was perfect. Check-in was simple. Room was spacious for our family of 6. Views of the water from the bedroom and living room were beautiful. Breakfast buffet had so many options and filled us up. The main pool is right off the lobby. Kids loved the waterpark and adults loved the hot tub and proximity to the bar at Black Drum. Happy hour drinks included with our stay were a bonus. We ate dinner at both the hotel restaurant and the Black Drum. Both were delicious and kids asked to go back to Black Drum every night. Ocean/beach access right off the back of the hotel was very convenient. Boardwalk along the water to other pools and properties were great. Indoor pool is a short walk to the fitness area where you can work out, play pickleball/tennis. So much to do right on the property that you never need to leave. Walmart and outlet mall is about 5 minutes away - perfect for shopping on rainy days. An easy drive into Myrtle Beach for tourist attractions and other restaurants. Will definitely be back in the summer with golf clubs!
- 5/5
It's was a great experience for my family especially the kids. The breakfast was awesome and condo beach hotel we stayed in was nice!
- 4/5
The property and staff was beautiful, kind, & helpful. No issues whatsoever. I was a bit picky about certain things like smudges all over elevator doors my bathroom door FELL OFF THE HINGES, we called maintenance and it was fixed within 20 min. Room was clean but I always do my own cleaning and found a hair or two in bathroom and some hidden small dirty spot near microwave. Other than that, no complaints
- 5/5
Very nice everyone was friendly

- 5/5
Breakfast was very fresh and we loved both pools. Clean and inviting. Pleasant staff.
- 5/5
Breakfast was fresh daily and staff were amazing. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The pool area was incredible. Parts of the hotel were very old and you could tell but the staff was amazing.
- 2/5
First when I got there took them over a hour to find us a room and tried to give a room which we didn’t book which was a price difference then when I got in the room noticed the ac didn’t wanna cool off which I called front desk and said they were looking into it… second day still hot so called again and they forgot to let anyone know the day prior so they came and made it where it got cold but the rest of the trip couldn’t get the room to heat up when the cool weather came through no matter how high we turned the temp… being this close to the beach amazing amazing pool… black drum is phenomenal… but the hotel is so far from everything kids wanna do that unless you have a car uber is gonna tear you up

Great place to stay
- 5/5
Clean room and the breakfast overall i had a great stay
- 3/5
The quality of service is really going down .
- 5/5
Amazing stay! Very clean, friendly staff. The buffet breakfast included was probably the best I have ever had. Great variety. Happy hour was great for both the adults and kids. Great snacks during that time. The waterpark and pool area was beautiful. The hardest part was finding a spot. The pool chairs were taken right away. The restaurant/brewery next door was really good. Nice atmosphere. The free shuttle service was great for heading into town to grab some things we forgot. Would hands down stay again.

- 3/5
The heat / ac system in my room rattled, vibrated and sounded like a train. The hotel sent someone to check it and he said it recently had some parts repaired and it would take 1 - 2 months for the noise to subside. He worked on it to try to reduce the noise, but it became louder. It was very difficult to sleep. Also one of the elevators didn’t work most of the time and another elevator provided a bumpy and noisy ride. I tried to speak with management, but was unable to. I left messages and still didn’t receive a response from management. My family and I stayed in their condos for Thanksgiving and the stay was excellent, but this one was not!
- 4/5
Great hotel with a great location. The rooms, particularly the bathroom area needed to be cleaned better.
- 5/5
clean room /staff superior/ propertyy great and very clean
- 3/5
The shower was rusty! My bedding had the fitted sheet on top even though it had a fitted sheet on the mattress also. My towels were wet feeling. I’m glad I had my own with me. We have the valet money for parking not realizing it would be charged to my account and come out of my checking account also. This place has too many fees.. parking, resort, incidentals, etc!!! Geez! I typically stay at Embassy Siites but not this one anymore!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay for friends and families!
- 4/5
Wonderful view
- 4/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was pretty typical. Property was beautiful.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing the hotel was beautiful! We went in the winter so they had all kinds of lights and decorations! The indoor pool has a splash pad ! Great for family’s !
- 5/5
Bacon days at the Embassy Suites are the best breakfast days! So crispy and delicious! This is an older property but it is clean and well kept with excellent service and staff. You can see and hear the ocean and sleep soundly. The suites are large and comfortable with plenty of privacy in the design.
- 5/5
Everything was great......
- 2/5
Like it was never cleaned. The sheets had a huge stain on it like the my just pulled the sheet back tucked and didn’t worry about changing the bedding. I’m very disappointed about my stay being we come here all the time to have run into a mess like this. Couldn’t change to another room. They had no more king size beds. I’m going think twice about coming here again.
- 5/5
Wonderful Staff, Beautiful location, Hotel was amazing and so beautiful! Of course not much beats a suite on the 19th floor overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Everything was top notch from check in to check out. Breakfast was very good with a very wide selection offered. I would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
The room was great. Hotel was clean and breakfast was wonderful. We arrived on a Saturday evening before 8pm, and the indoor pool and all other amenities were already closed. Also, we had a lot of luggage, and the only way to get a trolley was to pay the valet.
- 4/5
Quiet and nice view
- 4/5
Beach view nice sunsets. On site restaurant Black Drum was great
- 4/5
The staff was awesome and you have all the amenities you need in the hotel.
- 5/5
Quick check in, informative front desk staff. Good overview of what was available as part of stay.
- 4/5
Where the stay fell short was the room. It wasn’t dirty, but it definitely looked worn. The carpets, décor, walls, and doors all looked tired, and there were small details like peeling around the bathtub and a spot near the floor mirror that made the room feel outdated and not truly clean. This was surprising because the lobby, bar, and outdoor areas were very well maintained. The holiday decorations also looked cheap and felt out of place.
- 4/5
The hotel was very nice. Staff was very friendly everywhere and having a good restaurant right next door was icing on the cake.
- 5/5
We had great stay at Embassy suits...the room was very clean, delicious free continental breakfast, family friendly, beautiful beach...we'll go back
- 5/5
Beautiful property, comfortable and clean!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect..

We have started staying at this hotel this past spring. We been 3 times since. Absolutely love it. My family looks forward to it now. We hope it stays the same or improves. We are already looking forward to next spring.

Deception on oceanfront hotel? when majority of rooms do not face ocean. Ocean views ? Consider as partial or full are misleading. Expected more from a 4 star hotel rating. This place should be a 3 star. Rooms Not updated as noted in 2023.
- 5/5
Great view, shower, breakfast, and staff.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Lovely location with beautiful views of the expansive beach.
- 5/5
We had a beautiful view of the beach. We knew it would be raining but we didn't mind it. The king bed we had was very comfortable and the room was clean. We cannot wait to return to enjoy the pools with our children.
- 4/5
Great view of pool area and beach. Suite was clean and very comfortable. We didn’t realize we would be charged $20/day for parking plus $40/day for resort (pool, beach etc) until checking in. We elected it would be worth while.
- 5/5
Great access to the beach and pool
- 2/5
The ocean view, breakfast, and the complimentary drinks were good.
- 5/5
The beach View was fine. The room we had was 613 it was located above the air conditioning units which were fairly loud. Couldn’t hear the ocean very well because of the air conditioning units. The room was facing North.
- 4/5
I absolutely enjoyed my stay at the Embassy suites. My room was very spacious. I had forgot that I booked a suite so to walk in and see a seating area a separate bedroom and then my bathroom was amazing. The view was outstanding. I could look right out on my wraparound balcony and see the ocean. I will definitely be back again. let me add that the complementary breakfast was amazing. As well as the cocktail hour.
- 2/5
King Oceanfront Corner Suite While the view and beachfront location were nice, the overall stay was disappointing given the price. Parking was very limited, especially late at night, and the property is about 20 minutes from most main attractions, which was inconvenient. The Jacuzzi hours were inconsistent—it was supposed to close at sundown, yet I saw people using it around 10 p.m., and during the day it was filled with children, making it less relaxing. I was told the fire pit closed at sunset, so I avoided it in the evenings, only to learn on our last day that it actually stayed open until 10 p.m. My room had cleanliness issues, including hair in the sink and rust on the showerhead, and shortly after check-in, maintenance entered with another staff member to address something, which felt disruptive. My sister’s room was not ready until 7 p.m., while mine was available when we arrived around 1:30, delaying our plans. The $40 daily resort fee felt unreasonable, as I was told it only covered pool access, and the two drink coupons were only valid from 5 to 6:30 p.m., a time when most guests may not be present. There was no assistance with luggage, and I could not reach the front desk directly, having to call the main number to request towels and sheets. Breakfast was average, with the made-to-order omelet being the best item while most other options were cold or soggy. Overall, the service, cleanliness, location, and amenities did not justify the price or the “resort” title.
- 4/5
Very close to the beach. Pool area very clean.
- 5/5
Safe and quiet
- 5/5
You can find almost anything you want at this location. Excellent staff who are incredibly helpful. Rooms comfortable, clean and quiet. Good dining on the premises and bar/grill for night life. Beach access is easy and very short walk through dunes.
- 5/5
Our stay was perfect. We will return again VERY soon.
- 5/5
My husband and I had our mini moon at the embassy hotel, it was my first time going to the Myrtle beach and we had a such a great time there. The resort is so beautiful and super relax, the staff is super friendly. I would definitely come back for vacation. Our room was amazing and the view so beautiful.
- 4/5
The Spa, fitness center and shuttle service was excellent
- 5/5
Amazing stay at this hotel. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
The breakfast is the only area that could use a bit of improvement. Most of the buffet items were a little bland and not hot enough, though the omelettes were delicious. The grits could use a longer cooking time and a bit more seasoning, and all buffet items would benefit from being served hotter. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend it.
- 5/5
Excellent room. Very comfortable. Clean. Nice view.
- 5/5
Love the location and area. Pool and beach area and very nice and clean. Only thing was the bathroom in the suite. Hated walking through the bathroom to get to the bedroom. No other door on the toilet area. Also need towel hooks in the bathroom.
- 5/5
Everything was organized and structured nicely
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay

Great beaches, clean, organized. Hotel room was great ocean view and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Enjoyed my stay here I had an ocean front view which was amazing! One thing I was surprised by the TVs were not smart tv so that was a fail but besides that it was great
- 5/5
It was great. Always stay here
- 5/5
A very friendly and beautiful facility!!!!
- 5/5
I loved everything about the property except the carpeted rooms.
- 4/5
I like having access to the beach and pool.
- 5/5
The renovation at Embassy Suites are outstanding. We love the new pool and kids area. We are ate the Coastal Currents Restaurant inside the hotel and the food was delicious and great quality cuts of meat with great sides. We also ordered some food from the Blackdrum and that was good as well and offered a nice atmosphere for a date night. Overall the resort is beautiful, safe, and convenient to the main Myrtle Beach Attractions. I strongly recommend if you’re looking for a more relaxed, quiet, and safe resort in North Myrtle Beach.

The hotel property was very nice and breakfast was excellent. One thing that could be better is the cleanliness around the pool area. Trash was overflowing and guests would leave food around their chairs. Besides waitresses didn’t see anyone picking up during the day. Also, hot tub was cold all week.
- 4/5
The property was clean, safe and the customer service was great. The only negative thing was the heated pool was not functioning properly during my stay.
- 4/5
Otherwise, the location of the property is great easy access to both north and south Myrtle Beach and shopping areas and restaurants. As always, breakfast is wonderful!
- 4/5
Love the hotel some stains on the floor concerning for kids with so many sicknesses it could carry yet over all loved hotel. Hotel so busy I’m sure hard to clean carpets after each check out
- 4/5
Pool and outdoor area is awesome and what you pay for. Room was not cleaned well and heard same from other guests.
- 4/5
it was nice to stay in the embassy
- 4/5
Embassy Suites was nice enough for a family vacation. The pool and water park for kids were excellent. Literally something for all ages to be entertained. The poolside food and bar was over priced and very limited. The breakfast buffet was great but not enough variety for kids (pork bacon only; no strawberries/grapes/bananas/thick dry waffles most days/etc.). We ate out at Drift & Blueberry most mornings. Some room renovations but cheap paint job chipping on balcony, tub, etc. Nothing to ruin the stay. Can’t beat beach front location and daily complimentary happy hour.

This is the dirtiest and filthiest hotel room we’ve ever stayedin Given it’s a Hilton Brand! Stains are everywhere in the room, carpet, sofa bed, chairs. Hair on the bath tub, dirty tile grouts. See pictures for reference! The only positive here are check in and check out was smooth! Pool amenities is good. Other than that, definitely will not comeback at this hotel! And the fact you have to pay resort and parking fees that was never stated here.
- 1/5
Very disappointing stay at Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach. The “ocean view” balcony was unusable due to loud machinery noise, the property feels old and outdated, and the front desk service was unprofessional with no follow-up or apology regarding my room change request. On top of that, my room keys failed multiple times at night, and even the hallway emergency phone did not work, which is a serious safety concern. For the price paid, this hotel fell far below Hilton standards.
- 4/5
Nice place but they charged for pool and said it’s Black Drum pool service which is a restaurant in the property
- 5/5
This resort is really amazing. We enjoy our stay with family.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for families. Wonderful staff and location.
- 3/5
The hotel is good, but not the best option to eat around the complex. There’s a sport bar near the hotel but the food is not good in my opinion.
- 5/5
Very nice place, safe friendly staff i will be going back there again in the future
- 4/5
Limited food options on site but close to all the popular area restaurants. The hotel was very clean, very nice staff, lots of amenities. The only feedback I would give is the pool should stay open until 10p like the Hilton. On vacation, it’s nice to swim later in the evening after the sun is not as intense.
- 5/5
There are plenty of amenities, including a coffee shop (the with Starbucks coffee), a couple restaurants, bars, gift shops, pools, easy beach access, and free breakfast buffet every morning. The biggest issue I had with this location was the fact that there were only 3 elevators for the entire building, and staying on the 20th floor was a significant hassle to go up or down - especially since the staircase only led to the 3rd floor or outside. If you wanted to go to the lobby, you had to take elevator down from the 3rd floor. There were a few minor issues like the toilet paper roll holder being very loose in the wall (which was annoying), and the very strange sound at night that sounded like a wood chipper chipping wood every 5 minutes for thirty seconds. All night. Every night. Also, the television only seemed to have a few channels and we couldn’t figure out how to find pay-per-view options. Smart phone TVs or fire sticks would be a nice option. All around, though, it was a very lovely stay and we enjoyed it!
- 5/5
The food options at the Black Brew were really good. The room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
I did not like that parking and resort fees are now being charged. This was not done on our prior trips to this hotel, Embassy in Myrtle beach.
- 4/5
I was told my booking came with complementary snacks for the nights I was staying but they did not give me any. Even though I told them. Also my room was not cleaned during the day. That’s all’s overall I would stay here again.
- 2/5
Pillows were not comfortable, food was okay when you could get service, water leaking into our room was not a concern of the hotel. Rooms are showing age, updates are needed.
- 5/5
All staff was really friendly and helpful. Great place for a family vacationm will definitely be coming back.
- 5/5
We sent our parents for a mini vacation. They both raved about the property and staff
- 4/5
Great stay
- 3/5
The room was gross! Carpet had stains, the furniture was old and stained, painting chipping off the walls and railing o n the balcony. Shower had hair in it. Lines outside the elevators anytime you needed to use one (10-15min wait). Rooms definitely need renovation (room 1204).
- 4/5
Everything was fine until I found out that I have to pay for the amenities(include and the outside activities) and parking. Parking I’m OK normally with other hotels- don’t charge for the parking until you get there and you check out, but but having to pay for the amenities, which is $40 a night is too much it should’ve been included in the booking price already. The housekeeping was terrible. I would ask them daily to vacuum… one day I asked them to clean my room because my room wasn’t cleaned our beds weren’t made and it wasn’t vacuumed. All they did was take out the trash and leave the rest on me which I find it very abnormal, I thought I booked a five star hotel with housekeeping included—not an Airbnb where I would’ve done it myself.. when I checked in the front desk clerk was rude and uninformative. She just handed the vouchers. I found out that that 21 are eligible for
- 5/5
Always a great time at this wonderful hotel! We especially love the pools and waterpark that are included!
- 4/5
No walking distance to other places at beach. Also I would think the resort fee included parking, but I was charged for parking each day. Which I was unaware of!
- 5/5
Everything was top tier! We wanted to stay longer!
- 1/5
Adequate service and they double charged me. Would not recommend.
- 3/5
Stawere excellent
- 5/5
The suite was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We loved the beach access and the pool. The attention to detail and service made our stay memorable.
- 3/5
The hotel could use some updating. Paint on the balcony was peeling and paint on the tub was peeling. They have an excellent breakfast buffet. Beds and room decor were ok
- 4/5
Nice, fun property.
- 1/5
Elevator usage was a nightmare.
- 4/5
The amenities were great, pool was fun, beach access was great. The breakfast and evening free drinks were also a huge plus. The rooms were nice enough. The pool water wasn’t exactly clear but the area surrounding the pool was very nice and the kids slides as well. Elevators were a bit of an issue with breaking. My kids had fun and that’s what we were there for!
- 3/5
Great beach location. Black Drum restaurant was nice. Elevator broke down 4 days dueing our week linf stay. Pool was shut down due to over chlorination. Pool was nice but extremely crowded. Included breakfast was nice, cocktail reception drunks were good, snack were terrible. Staff was very courteous.
- 4/5
Very relaxing atmosphere although a little busy around the pool area. Would be exceptional if you provided a kid free pool space.
- 3/5
My daughter got stuck on an elevator, and I was unable to contact the front desk from an outside phone. I am still trying to contact the property from an outside phone to contact the front desk and it’s impossible to get them on the phone. It is the most frustrating communication system I have ever had to deal with ever!
- 4/5
Sehr schlnes grosses Zimmer
- 1/5
This property is way too expensive for “motel-ish” bathrooms and such. The staff unhappy and rude. Check in was ridiculous. The girl was complaining shout Myrtle and said she couldn’t wait to leave and move back to GA. Happy hour staff so rude and not inviting. Worst embassy I’ve ever stayed at. Bathroom such bad shape. broken tub plug and grimy. Pool closes at 8:30pm. No towels and staff said “we don’t when they’ll be clean”. Then pool horrible condition. Every garbage overflowing and no one cleaning up anywhere. I will never go back to this property and am hesitant to going back to another embassy suites.
- 3/5
Our bathroom was outdated and the tub was in poor condition. The sink's stopper was broken. The bathroom was not clean. For $500 a night it was not worth it. I felt swindled.
- 5/5
Best stay ever
- 2/5
The elevators work broke and malfunctioning my entire stay. Waited for 30 minutes multiple times for elevator. It affected some of the perks of the hotel. And staff refused to accommodate me even though they knew the issue
- 5/5
Nice and clean. Just concerned about beds. Queen bed looks like full size not queen.
- 4/5
The resort was amazing overall. The only mishap was not being able to check in on time. Had to wait over an hour for housekeeping to clean the room even though check was at 4 and we got there after 4:30pm.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at the Embassy by Hilton because it was very convenient for me and the kids to access the water park and the beach. Everything was great, and my family loved the place.
- 5/5
The Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach is a beautiful resort! The beach access is fantastic and the resort has a beautiful pool! My room was quiet and comfortable! The hotel staff was friendly and helpful! I will definitely stay here again if I visit Myrtle Beach again!
- 4/5
What we DO NOT like about it is that people can put their towels and other items on the pool chairs and leave and not come back for hours. It’s not fair for those who want to he at the pool and have no where to sit because all the chairs have been reserved. Another thing is the mattresses are very uncomfortable. They are too hard- I barely slept for the five days we were there. Otherwise, we love this place!
- 5/5
My family gave this a 5 out of 5! Remember there are a lot of people so you sometimes have to wait for the elevators at peak times in the morning during check out, but other than that we did not have to wait for anything. We loved coming home from the beach or pool to a clean room! I was able to do my laundry one day! Very convenient! The buffet in the morning was great! Never had to wait for a table as busy as it was. We will definitely be back!!
- 5/5
Five star! Loved it.
- 5/5
Stay was comfortable
- 3/5
The property’s amenities were amazing. I didn’t realize there were villas with more space. Next time we will stay there. The bathrooms were tiny and the room although satisfied, needed a good cleaning.
- 4/5
The elevators smelled like urine and only one was operable.
- 1/5
From the moment we entered the room, we were met with filth and neglect. The carpets were stained and sticky, there was a strong, sour odor, the bedding appeared reused, and the bathroom was covered in mildew and mold—making it feel more like a low-end motel than a resort we paid a premium for. Staff was very rude!
- 4/5
I loved that it was a family friendly hotel. The pool was great!
- 5/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious. Perfect for family’s. The breakfast was great and the Amenities perfect.
- 5/5
It was an amazing experience! We went on a girls trip and do not have one bad thing to say! The pool was incredible, amazing view, and all the staff were so sweet and helpful! We haven’t seen an embassy suite this amazing! If we come back to Myrtle Beach we will definitely stay there!! We were very impressed!
- 2/5
Great view. Uncaring staff. I was told that check in time only means they start checking people in, not that all the rooms should be ready. 5 star views with motel 6 service
- 5/5
Clean property and also the 2 complimentary drinks a day , each stay.
- 4/5
Although the property wasn’t as up-to-date as I’d hoped, my family and I enjoyed our vacation. The rates are too high for this property.
- 5/5
I loved the nice pools
- 5/5
We loved staying at the Embassy! It’s right on the beach and our kids loved the pool and slides! Breakfast was also good and we enjoyed eating by the pool each day.
- 4/5
Beach is right behind the hotel. There is an elevator at the backside. So it's easy to get to your room after you are done with the beach. Breakfast: 5 stars Breakfast was excellent with made to order omelet station. Pool: 4 stars. The kids absolutely loved the water slides and had a blast! However, there were very few chairs available around the kiddie pools, and these were often taken early in the morning. Additionally, the chairs in that area didn't have umbrellas, leaving no shaded spots to sit and watch the children if you weren't in the water. Check-in process: 5 stars We were able to check-in online which had the option to choose the room and floor which was cool. Room: 3 stars The view from our room was beautiful, offering a lovely sight of the beach, pier, and the pools. I would have given a five-star rating, but the bathroom was cramped, similar to a motel. We also found the shampoo and conditioner bottles to be empty, and the toilet seat had stains. While I understand this might be acceptable for some locations, I was surprised to find this at a four-star resort. I've stayed at three-star Embassy Suites in other locations that had much larger bathrooms. The gym being in a separate building was inconvenient. In the laundry room, there was no sink, and one dryer (the one with the broken switch) turned on, but did not dry clothes.
- 1/5
The breakfast was the most limited open buffet I have ever seen. The lack of breakfast products such as cheese, olives, tomatoes was very bad. The fact that they use the Hilton name should really be reconsidered. One of the rooms was still not cleaned and ready even though we were there at 4 o'clock. The air conditioner in the room was working very loudly and the technician sent for service said that it could not be fixed until we left the room. When we went to the pool at 9 this morning, they had run out of towels and they said new towels would come at 11. One of the room keys was broken. The building is very old and the area reserved for balconies is even bigger than the rooms, which was very strange. It was really funny that the water in the rooms was paid for. The only good thing was the ocean view. But I think I can find many other hotels in the area with the same view
- 2/5
Beach is lovely. Food options are terrible. The breakfast was uninspired and the restaurant next to the hotel (known as the Black Drum) offers poor service and food unworthy of consumption
- 3/5
Room wasn’t ready at check in time. Besides that, great experience!
- 4/5
I stay here often when I’m in the area due to how friendly the staff is and the easy access to the beach. This visit the water kept turning off and on during shows and when brushing teeth. Never could get an exact reason. Other than that great hotel!
- 5/5
Amazing property, friendly staff, great location
- 5/5
Best place to stay in
- 5/5
The hotel has a lot to do. Pools, beach, dinning options, and near to lots of things to do. I would recommend it to anyone.

Will not go back. First of all, the picture do not match the reality. When looking for a place to stay, we were sold by the pictures and were very disappointed. The room was very old and outdated. Very dirty. Dust on baseboards, carpets were very dirty and room was not thoroughly cleaned. It did not feel like a pleasant vacation especially for the price that we paid. We had a hard time reaching different places in the hotel when using a phone. On first evening we were tired from the road and wanted to order dinner in the room, but no body picked up the phone, when left a voice message, they never called back. Tried call front desk to be transferred back to the in room dining which never got picked up. We ended up ordering pizza from outside. Customer service is very poor. We had to request room service. Even then, the room was never cleaned, just same beds were made and new towels. We booked a room for 6 but were only given 3 towels and wash clothes. Like seriously??? Are we supposed to share? Had to request extra towels every day. The description did not include the fact that during rain, the close their pools, indoor pool and their sauna. When booking a place, we were looking for a indoor pool for a case of rain so that kids would have something to do, but were told they close during rain. The need to disclose that in their description and not charge the resort fee. Why charge a resort fee if you can’t use any of resort’s amenities??? Valet service was terrible.
- 4/5
Honestly, I expected more for the stars and this expensive price of this hotel
