These pictures were extremely deceiving. The place is a motel on the water, that’s it. Nothing fancy at all. I traveled as a single female and the 1st floor was honestly pretty sketch to stay on. The allies are creepy and the rooms were gross. They smelt like mold and were almost “wet” feeling. The front desk was nice, but I ended my stay early. Very much so a place If you just need somewhere to stay and have zero other expectations.

Oceanfront room with balcony was wonderful. All of the staff were very helpful especially our housekeeper Alisha. The location was convenient to everywhere. I had trouble accessing the WiFi during the afternoon and evening. It seemed like the windy conditions during those times of day didn't let the signal come through. I had no trouble in the mornings. Also I'm glad I picked the week I did because the city was working on the beach and my last day there the beach was gone in front of the hotel.

The hotel and rooms weren’t what we expected. It wasn’t clean or presentable. We will not be staying there again.

The hotel was fine. A little more expensive for what you get. The room descriptions do say "recently remodeled" and I could agree they probably have done some recent remodeling but it looked like the "landlord special". There were dead gnats stuck to the ceiling above our bed, the bathroom light/ventilation fan quit working the 2nd day we were there and the wifi was crap. Sometimes it would just not be working at all. The receptionist working Monday when we checked in was not very welcoming. Told us all of the rules, about the pool opening and closing 9am-9pm however that rule is not enforced as there were people in the pool all hours of the night past 9pm so I don't know why they bother saying that. She also told us the TV is a "smart dumb tv" and explained that you cannot connect to it and you have to watch the TV channels they provide only. There was vending machines and an ice machine. There was "guest laundry" room but we never tried it as when we peaked in, it looked like it was industrial machines for hotel staff. The room we chose was nice that it had the kitchenette and full size refrigerator. There was many cobwebs in the room, so dusting is not priority. The beds are not very comfortable and sit on metal frames and you will bump your foot into it and it will sound like loud rumbling thunder. We had the oceanfront view so that was nice.

Hotel was surrounded by unsafe, sketchy hotels and condos, when arrived, hotel had lower parking deck which was not well lit, the hotels on either side were poorly lit, when checking in the hotel front desk warned me and my family of potential drug laced needles around the property and on the beach. The hotel staff was unhelpful, unkind and pushy. Me and my family felt this hotel was overall unsafe. We ended up booking another hotel and never staying here after seeing the misrepresentation of the location compared to what the website showed. Highly recommend not staying here and avoiding the hotel at all cost.

The staff were all wonderful. Especially the maid service, it was an elder Hispanic guy. He was very prompt now one lady was a booty head. She was doing everything but throwing us out rushing us beating the literal vrap out the door. That was not professional Clean!!! And that’s. From a ocd clean freak.

The only positive thing I could say is that is in front of the beach. Personnel was not professional, room was not ready for check in until 1 hour later, placed looked dirty and not maintained, pool and overall hotel was nothing like you see in the pictures.

This place was amazing for the price. We even booked it the day of. The parking is plenty. It’s an upper deck n lower. Security was ok cameras and always someone in the front desk. It’s locked tho just knock. My room was pretty decent can’t say it had bug or any problem. The beach access is right there always near some shop and eats.

It was nice the most comfortable beds I ever slept on clean and you can get where you need to go. People are friendly and The shower works great really cannot complain However expect to stay up at night because it is so close to the other buildings you will hear them talking in the middle of the night I didn't get to sleep until about 12:30 to 1:00 every night I stayed I wish they're building just had more sound resistance but overall it did have a good experience the beds were comfortable The room for clean and service was fantastic and the location great

We did not receive the room I requested. They did move us to the correct room. It smelled like cigarettes and cleaning products. There was food under the furniture. Both pools were very green, dirty and not fit to swim in. It cost a lot of money for a very poor experience. The staff was nice.

I do not like that the next morning some random lady walked in our room while we were still sleeping. I'm not sure how she was able to get in and she didn't get no response from us because we was asleep so why would a person just freely open the door not knowing if we dressed or not.

Location Room ocean front Kitchenette Staff Maintenance team During check-in, I was left waiting. It took over an hour to receive the key, nearly until 4:30 PM. Our lock was malfunctioning, and the maintenance team along with the manager spent an hour attempting to repair it, but to no avail. In total, we wasted 2.5 hours at the hotel.

The Blu Atlantic was horrible. The room smelled so bad and the beds had stains all over the sheets and pillows. We asked for our room to be cleaned and new towels every day and no one showed up. We had to go to the office to ask for clean towels. The pool was dirty and never cleaned. The coffee maker didn’t work. The heat/ air conditioning unit smelled like something was dead inside of it. It was the worst hotel I have stayed at. The hotel allows dogs and all you hear all night long is barking. Not a place I would go back too!

They charge you a resort fee when there isn’t a resort anywhere in sight. The kiddie pool that they have, was dirty and was covered in rust. The elevator was very unkept, just like the rest of the property. I would recommend bringing your own towels, because the housekeepers threw them on the ground outside as they go through to clean. The A/C unit did not blow at all at night. Despite me changing the settings, it didn’t begin to blow again until around 9. (This was 3 nights in a row, so I’m absolutely sure it doesn’t blow at night). The rooms were not cleaned as they should, as we found all kinds of hair in the bathroom, and dirt in the shower. The sink stopper, was broken, so the water in the sink drained really slow. The parking is horrible, the garage seems like a place the staff should be parking , not guest. I naw never felt so catfished by a property in my life. I will never stay here again. The staff was nice but that’s it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is, the shower was putting water on the floor due to the shower curtain being a cloth shower curtain. Other than that, had an amazing view of the ocean from the room and enjoyed the stay.

All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. Someone was cleaning constantly, even the outsides of the air units - the walkways were blown off daily, etc. Our room was recently remodeled - a process they are still doing to other rooms. Ours was freshly painted, new vinyl floors and tile, new appliances. We had one issue the first day with the bathroom sink being slow to drain and they sent maintenance up right away (it was clogged full of sand - I bet that is an issue at the beach). It is "dog friendly" (we usually don't choose these hotels - only our 2nd trip ever with a dog). There is an elevator. I don’t think I'd like it as much in-season because of the two large hotels on both sides, and the pool did not have a bath house - which would be an issue. The dog "bathroom" area was small, and I noiced the rain gutters dumped there, and the doggie bags were not stocked, but it was off season -- only saw 2 dogs counting ours, and we didn't get any rain -- so it all worked out fine! We had no complaints for our off-season trip. Beds slept fine, kitchen was nice, room was adequate size, beautiful balcony view .... Very close access to the ocean, which was great for surf fishing! We had a wonderful trip with our 11 year old grandson and small dog!!

We had a great stay overall. Parking is very close to the rooms and rooms are very clean! Little bit of a walk to the boardwalk but it’s doable from here. We enjoyed this hotel.

The staff was all very helpful and courteous. Housekeeping came by every morning to assure we were good and to swap out towels. The rooms were clean and updated. I'm glad we had opted for the oceanfront room. The balcony was nice with a perfect view of the pool and beach. A few conviences that may not a major deal for some, however, we loved having the broom and dust pan available in our room! It made it easy to clean up the sand we tracked in daily. Also the multiple large trash cans available on each floor made it nice when cleaning up or having had dinner in the room. We will definitely stay again!

Terrible location. There was a shooting two blocks down. No air conditioning or parking. Expect to pay to park if you are driving multiple vehicles. They will put you infront of the pool so you can't get a view of the ocean. We asked for another room. We didn't receive toilet paper after we asked front desk for it until 2 hours later. The shower was the only thing that gave me comfort. The beds were hard. It was too hot to sleep. I went to my car to cool off. -1 star hotel.

For the money, you can not beat it! We had a great time, and this place had an amazing view of Myrtle Beach. We've stayed here multiple times, and would absolutely do it again. The staff is incredible!

Love that it was a short walk to the beach, staff were friendly. Location was okay, i kept smelling mj from the hotel next door but other than that i enjoyed my stay!

Expedia/ Hotels.com were not up to standards. It took us 2.5 hours to get a hotel that your employees forgot to book. To me this was unexceptableand the Days in Employees were nasty people who were not willing to work with us.

They charged me twice because they couldn’t find my reservation from Expedia! They are complete crooks. I’m still dealing with this.

Arrived at the property at 10:30 only to find out I couldn’t get in my room the door wouldn’t work they couldn’t get in either stated that that was the last room available they were sold out the room I booked was supposed to be ocean front only for me to be on the 1st floor and see a brick wall instead, they had to go clean a room so me and my kids stood outside till 12:30am no accommodations were made everything was inconvenient stay didn’t seem to care just unprofessional the rom I did get was okay a low budget upgraded room never again will I stay here

When I arrived I was greeted by Kellie and Greg at the front desk who assisted me with a seamless check in. My room was third floor, ocean front and was very clean, modern and all around nice. I had trouble with the tv not turning on and they sent someone up immediately to fix it. The only negative is the limited parking other than that everything was excellent and I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time. The room was very clean upon arrival. The people at the front desk were cery friendly and helpful.

I don’t like they ask me about if friends or family come see you they need to come to the lobby make me feel uncomfortable …. The housekeeper get in without my authorization… no privacy what’s happening if I was showering or nake ??? No good service at all make me feel this is not to safe place other wise why they do that

The overall stay was alright, the pet area was a total disaster. We had to request towels and wash clothes and toilet paper everyday, it was 3 of us in the room.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Good location and the bed I had was very comfortable. Enjoyed the fridge in my room.

That place is not worth it. All the hidden fees ruined my experience… don’t waste your time or money

Lovely staff and partial view of the ocean. Building is very old and shows all the many decades of wear & tear. Pool was gross, outdoor shower was an old spout for your feet. Need a renovation badly .
