When we checked in my husband had to go get cleaning supplies to scrub the floor because our feet turned black from walking on it. Hallway floors are a safety hazard. staff was rude and not helpful. Do not recommend staying here at all!

Great staff, clean room and good working ac. Breakfast menu was fresh and different each day, a variety to choose from. Hotel surrounding is quiet and conveniently in close proximity to restaurants and many fun activities for the family. Visited from Boston at the end of April not peak season summer hence quieter days and smoother movements from point A to point B.

The property is older but the staff does a great job keeping it clean. The only issues we had were low water pressure in the bathroom sink and they may want to consider upgrading the hot water tanks. While my family and I were taking showers the water was very luke warm and my husband and son did NOT like that. Other than that, the property was clean, staff pleasant and breakfast was decent.

We loved our stay at Best Western. The staff was so helpful and attentive. Having breakfast included was a nice plus.

Overall a decent hotel that was pretty clean, AC in room worked great, staff was very helpful and nice. Unfortunately all of our shampoo and body wash were empty upon arrival so we did have to ask them to refill which they did immediately after requesting refills. Would recommend if you want a decent hotel that isn't going to break the bank.

Everything was good with our hotel stay and the only issue that we had is that the ice machine wasn’t working on the second floor. The room was clean. The breakfast was ok but I was a little disappointed with the size of the pool, but it still worked out and I would definitely stay here again. It is really nice to be on the main strip and so many things nearby from restaurants to a supermarket to the gas station and even a Walmart, which was about five minutes down the road. Next-door was really cool because it had the racing cars, arcades and rides for the kids.

Breakfast was ok but freshly cooked rooms were very clean staff was awesome the heat didn’t work in the first room I was in and the staff moved me to another room down the hallway with no problem the property was very dog friendly but quiet you couldn’t even tell dogs was there I like the fact that all dogs are placed on the first floor

However, I asked if the pre-made western omelette had meat in it. As, I stated that I do not eat meat. I was told there was no meat in it. After taking a bite into it; I discovered the pieces of ham. I showed the staff. They said, “sorry that happened to you.” I hope that they will gain more knowledge about the foods that they are providing their guests. I could have gotten sick or had an allergic reaction. And, a simple sorry would not have resolved that.

over all opinion was this hotel was ok. Not spectacular but also not a slum. for a moderate price hotel it was about what I expected. the staff is very nice so 5 star there. would I stay here again?? YES in fact this was my second stay at the location. if you are only using the hotel as a place to sleep than this is a good option. if you are looking for a resort style stay than look else where.

This was a busy trip for me, so I really appreciated the hot breakfast. I love seeing cardinal in the parking lot one morning. The peacefulness of the intercoastal waterway at Sunset was wonderful. They only wishes that there was a stoplight that made it easier to get in and out of this property. You’re basically turning onto an out of a freeway into a parking lot. It can be a little scary!

This was our second stay in a month. Rooms are very clean, with fresh towels everyday, comfortable beds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is included and it is outstanding. We stayed for five nights and each morning there was an amazing variety of choices with a little something different added each morning. We saved a lot of money by not eating breakfast out every day. The food was always fresh and if something ran out it was refilled immediately. They have an automatic pancake machine that makes pancakes fresh at the push of a button! A great coffee machine with coffee, lattes, mocha cappuccino, hot chocolate, tea, etc. was available in the lobby 24/7. When the weather is favorable the new deck in the back is on the intracoastal waterway and it's a beautiful spot to sip a drink and watch the sunset!

The front desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast every morning was great and the rooms are exceptionally clean , quiet and comfortable. Plus , anything you want or need is within a minute or two away. It’s also in a safe area which is very important to me.

Room were OK, you can tell its old w/ few upgrades done. But underneath the paint you can tell its old. I can tell they tried their best to make the place clean and thats what I like the most. Its old but its clean. One thing that stand out for me is their free breakfast, it was one of the best free breakfast I had. Just for that breakfast your accommodation paid off already. I don't think you staying in this hotel will disappoint you unless you unless you have a very high standards. But if you are looking for a budget freindly hotel w/ excellent service and great breakfast, I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel for a one night stay

The room was nice, more space than i thought it would have. It had a single cup Keurig, a microwave, and a mini fridge. It's a small place only 3 floors, and only one elevator., but they do have a free small breakfast.

We stayed 3 nights in mid October and I chose this hotel because it was near the Apache Pier where we were fishing. Hotel was nice and clean. The only thing I don't care for are the laminate wood floors in the bedrooms. I like carpeted floors but that's my preference. Not sure if all rooms are like that but our 2 rooms did not have carpet. Hotel was pretty packed the days we were there and the breakfast area is on the smaller side. I wasn't really able to eat downstairs around 8am so I had to take it back to my room. But the breakfast items were good and varied by day. The hotel doesnt have vending on the floors, there is a mini market in the lobby. Not a ton of choices so you may want to bring snacks and drinks with you. Beds were pretty comfy and the staff was nice. It was quiet the days we were there since it was off season but the hotel is next to a family amusement park so I'm not sure how noisy it gets in the summer. All in all our stay was good.

Other than that I enjoyed my stay which was a getaway after funeralizing my brother. Dining room was small for the amount of people. Ice machine didn’t work on our floor. Bathroom was old, needed updating. Shampoo and conditioner bottles were tiny. Not sure how one person could use it. When asked for extra towels the cleaning staff didn’t want to give them to us because it was the morning we were checking out (that’s what she said to me). All in all it was ok. Just not great.

This isn't a bad hotel at all. Only problem was that the pictures did not necessarily accurately show the condition of the rooms. Slightly outdated with paint chipping and oddly opening bathroom door. Also make sure your shower head isn't pushed all the way up when you go to turn it on to get the water hot because I didn't check and went back into the bathroom 3 minutes later and the floor was flooded because of the position of the shower head and I didn't realize. All in all the bed was really comfortable and to be that's what matters the most besides cleaniness and the room was clean.

What I didnt like, checking in took long because equipment is outdated. The TV in the room did not work. Staff tried her best to reprogram to at least get me basic channels. The lamp on dresser flickered off and on. Staff acknowledged that it needed a new lightbulb but did not change it. The air conditioning unit made very loud noises throughout the stay. If you turned it off the room became extremely hot. Had to deal with the noise to stay cool.

Breakfast was just OK... Room was just OK... Staff was just OK... Will not stay there, just already had made the reservation and was stuck!

The positives were that it was very quiet and a terrific price for a great location. Also had a terrific showerhead and water pressure. But it definitely needed some extra TLC. Light was out over the bathtub, toilet seat was loose and slid around, light fixture missing over hallway light, and air conditioner was dirty and needed cleaned.

Rm#219 felt wet, humid, & sticky the 2 nights I booked the room! The bathroom door had swelled and expanded so much that it would not close unless you slammed it shut with your 2 hands and a lot of force! Then you had to pull it open again with 2 hands and a lot of pull! I would have asked for a different room, but by the time I discovered the situation, I had already unpacked & didn’t want to expend the energy and time to have it rectified! The room definitely could use a dehumidifier!!

Had to check in after checking out of a resort that had roaches. This hotel was small but clean and no roaches! Enjoyed our 3 nights. A lot of food options nearby and a fun go kart track next door!

Two water puddles on the floor from the fridge. Desk attendant only gave me old towels to dry it up. I thought maybe she would just give me another room. Woke up the next morning and there was another puddle, which I stepped in.

The air conditioner had to be 72 degrees or cooler. If not when you get up at night or morning the floor was wet and everything was damp. You had to decide to sleep cold or risk slipping on a wet floor. My wife just had hip surgery 2 months ago and still in therapy so we decided to leave a day early.

My boyfriend and I liked this place a lot. Was our second time at Myrtle so the staff there made it very easy to stay at. I do wanna say that for some odd reason the floor kept getting wet because of the air conditioning which was uncomfortable when we wore socks they’d get wet easily. overall 9.8/10 loved it.

The entire staff was very friendly (front desk, housekeeping, maintenace, and breskfast attendants) to my family and pet (Tarzan). We felt very welcomed, thank you. Along our road trip to FL we booked a room for 1 night. Then on our way back to NY we booked a room for 2 nights only because we loved it. Now we became Best Western Members❤️. The only thing that we didn't like was the floors stayed wet if you didn't run the AC.

Stayed here with family who had issues in both of their rooms as well…puddles on the floor from housekeeping, a brown substance smeared on the back of the bathroom door and the rooms smelled very musty.

The photos on Expedia were very deceiving and I was surprised that it received such a high rating. This is a pretty old property and the building and fixtures were all outdated. Not just old but also not in good condition. The lobby smelled weird and I almost didn't check in at all. Pet-friendly should not equal not cleaned well. I paid double for this room than what I feel should be a more appropriate rate. I was concerned about safety during my stay and would have taken my family to another hotel if I could have gotten a refund. The staff was kind, so I do want to mention that. Otherwise, I won't be staying here again.

This property was more than I expected. My husband and I enjoyed the hot breakfast each morning. The cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was very good. The staff was very friendly.The beds were comfortable as well. Overall very pleased and will stay again.

Everything was good for the most part. Only issues was the door to the room was difficult to close. You had to put your whole body into the door to get it to close. Then it was difficult to open. The other issues was when you flushed the toilet the water would spray out of the toilet.

The check-in process is extremely slow. No coffee available in the lobby when they claim it's available 24 hours. Bathroom full of problems. When showering, I could not help but repeatedly hit my arms into the long vertical handle in the middle of the tub, so I had to stand sideways. Then I noticed how the shower curtain would not stay shut, no matter how many times I closed it. Slippers and the floor got wet from that whole ordeal. I had to use the thin bath towels to wipe up the floor. Proceed to use the sink with water leaking around the faucet, ok until I realize it's running to the edge of the sink and dripping on my feet. I called the front desk to report problems, only to be told that no maintenance people were available until the next day. Before I left, I noticed bloody-looking handprints down the molding in the bathroom. The place would not have been so bad if it weren't for all that.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. I haven't stayed in a Best Western in many years but they did not dissapoint. It was a great room. Location was convenient to Beaches and restaurants. Priced well comparably. Will go back.

The beds were hard, very uncomfortable. The bathroom was filled with mold around the tub. Also, the flooring in the bedroom was scratched up very unacceptable. Hotel staff told me the owner of the property was supposed to do the renovations, but it looks like that has not happened.

Floor was nasty sticky and all scratched up, ac didn’t work, fridge didn’t work, bathtub didn’t work. Pool was ok, left after a night and booked some where else

booked my room over two months in advance when arriving there was no booked room in my name person at the desk named oz was very uninterested about my problem, finally after reaching out to hotel.com about my issue they were able to fix the issue of the missing room,also the room smelled of dog all 3 days,also booked a king rm got 2queen beds,will never stay there again,bed and room musty,bathroom has no vent in it,the only thing good about this property was that the breakfast choices were good even though i do not eat breakfast but my family does. Location to things to do are close.this place reminds me of a motel where you just sleep in whatever is there and leave in the morning,not a warm welcoming hotel to stay at,if i had known there were dogs and cats allowed i would never have booked there,i am not against animals they just do not need to be in a hotel room where humans sleeps at.

It was clean but the bed frames was wore down and chipping.You could tell they need some renovations.

Air conditioner in room leaked in the room.

The staff was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast food was good and the lady that worked breakfast worked so hard and did a great job. We slept well all things considered and the hotel was surprisingly quiet, but overall the condition of the hotel was subpar. All the hallways smelled like they were trying to cover something up and our room smelled even worse. The overhead light in our room flicker when you turned it on and initially we thought it would eventually stay lit but that never happened, consequently we never used the light. The bathroom sink drain didn’t drain with the stopper in place so we had to remove it for the duration of our stay just so water would flow. The pool pictured online is much nicer than the one there. It is the same pool but it’s not kept as nicely as the picture portrays. The water was quite dirty from all the nearby tree debris and it might get skimmed once a day. I was concerned about the chlorine levels being appropriate b/c it was rather cloudy too. So overall our stay was ok but for $480 for 3 nights it wasn’t enough to return.

My aunt and I really enjoyed the location. It is close to lots of delicious restaurants as well as places to shop.

Convient location close to food

Began to get wet , like dew was all over everything. By morning the floor looked like it had been busted mopped. Will not be staying at this best western again

Excellent customer service. Room was nice and enjoyed sitting on deck on the inter coastal waterway.

Quiet clean and friendly and efficient staff. AC a little noisy.

I enjoyed my stay. The furniture could use a good cleaning, but the room was clean. I loved the sitting area at the back of the property where you could sit and watch the boats go down the river, it was shaded and nice.

Won’t recommend anyone to stay here!

Pillows need to be more comfortable; I had neck pain after sleeping in them, however overall, we had a good experience.

Our room had a very strong odor of chlorine upon entering. The front desk said they did not have another room to change us to. The room was humid and everything had moisture on it. Everything in the room was rusted. The room was not clean and the floors were slippery from whatever they attempted to clean the floors with.

Cons: Breakfast is meh (its free though...) and the room had a weird a/c smell to it. We bought an air freshener and were fine; became nose blind in a day or 2. Overall good experience; would definitely stay again.

Loved the patio area overlooking the river. Great price. Room older but good condition.
