Semeli Hotel

Hotel was very conveniently located, just a five minute walk from the downtown of Mykonos. Breakfast was included, buffet style, and was very tasty. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and available, always with a smile on their faces. When my airline mishandled my luggage and it arrived the following day, Semeli offered me a round trip to the airport to pick it up without even needing to ask. Overall, my friends and I were very happy with our stay and experience. My hotel room had a great view and balcony but the room and bathroom itself was a bit on the smaller size.

Breakfast, service, & location! Nothing!

I spent over a week here, and wish I could live here full time. The location is truly the best in Mykonos. Walkable to town in just minutes, but still offers a gorgeous view over the bay. Everything about the property is kept to a high 5 star standard, and any issues I encountered were resolved quickly. What really sets Semeli apart, however, are the incredible staff. They work very hard to take care of each guest personally, and are among the most friendly and attentive hotel staff I have met. A lot of what you are paying for at a luxury hotel is service, and this one really delivered above and beyond in so many little ways. I especially want to praise the restaurant staff and its manager, Maro, a real pro who runs one of the best operations I have seen in many years of staying at high end hotels. Celine was a bright and friendly ball of sunshine each morning during the breakfast restaurant and again during service at the pool in the afternoon. She is genuinely one of the nicest servers I have ever met. In the evening, Bob was always quick and friendly with bringing room service (tip: book a room with a jacuzzi, and enjoy the luxury of ordering drinks right to you!). Marios was always cheerful and helpful bringing me coffee. And Ben the bartender is incredibly knowledgeable (ask him for a tutorial on Greek spirits!). They all knew my name and had my "usual" orders memorized within a day. I had so many lovely conversations with them during the down moments on their shifts, and the ambiance really added to the stay. If you're on the fence about Semeli, I say just book and you won't regret it! Gym could have been bigger, but wasn't a huge problem as I was on vacation anyway. Hard to think of much else, because the hotel is near perfect.

Ideally located a short walk to town! But also quiet and luxurious and peaceful.

For a hotel so close to the center of town it actually had very nice facilities and it’s gym was decent enough to have a good workout. The restaurant was very tasty. It will be nice if the bathroom had an actual wall rather than a cubicle

Overall I liked the hotel. However decor, ambiance, comfortable and clean rooms with good quality of products. Many thanks to all friendly,helpful& kind staff of Semeli. Also location was perfect.

Location. Location. Location. Beautiful location in the center of everything Walking distance to everything. We had a Seaview from our room. The room was impeccably clean. The staff is professional and courteous. 10 minute ride from the Mykonos airport.

Fabulous rooms in a gorgeous property! Staff all around were wonderful. All great!

The hotel is conveniently located close to Mykonos Town and Little Venice, just a short walk from the Fabrica bus station. The lobby and outdoor seating areas are spacious and inviting, and the pool area is beautifully maintained and very relaxing. The floors in the room and bathroom made noticeable squeaking noises when walked on. The bed also squeaked with any movement, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times. The curtains could be improved as well, since they didn’t fully block out sunlight from the sides. We also experienced two instances of stained bedding and towels. In both cases, the stains appeared as faded red or brown marks—likely from items that had been washed but not properly replaced. For a five-star hotel, I believe such linens should be discarded and replaced entirely. We took photos and reported the issue to reception, and to their credit, they promptly provided clean replacements.

The mattress.

Really great location, nice rooms and facilities, and good service. This is just personal preference, but the vibe is very relaxed and you’re more likely to see families at the pool. If you’re looking for a more scene-y environment, you might want to look elsewhere.

Great, comfortable, & cozy place to stay! Room was very comfortable and well equipped, the location was exceptional, and the bar was the perfect spot to unwind with a drink before heading out for the evening.

It was at the center of everything. We were able to walk down to town where the shops and restaurants are. Friendly and welcoming staff. Each room was unique. Comfortable stay. Great breakfast bar.

Really beautiful and upscale, the pool area and lounge area was absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast buffet was incredible! If I had one complaint to the pool was way too cold and the hot tub was way too hot!
