Hotel Alkyon

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. They served the best oranges I’ve ever had! The rooms were spacious and very clean. Our view on the balcony was beautiful. We found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Location was sketchy

The room was very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was wonderful. The location was very good! Nice path down to shops & restaurants. The view from our room balcony was beautiful! See attached photos. The price was excellent! The desk staff could have been a bit more friendly during interactions. They weren’t rude but could have been more welcoming.

What a great hotel - a stylish foyer, and a pool overlooking Mykonos Town and out to the water with incredible views. We arrived at the Port and the Staff picked us up ( in her own car, the hotel bus was out and about - which we thought was funny, but so kind of her to come get us!), and we sat by the pool as soon as we arrived, overlooking a stunning view of Mykonos and the port and the ocean - what a view. The pool is very very windy, as it's high up - so it's probably not ideal to sit there every day, as it's blowing a galeforce wind, but it was lovely. Our room was big, lots of space, clean and comfy, good air-con, strong wifi, quiet and well decorated. We had our flight cancelled, so we never got to sleep there and try the breakfast, but the staff were wonderful and the hotel offers a free airport/ferry shuttle, which we appreciated. We're sorry we didn't get to stay overnight, but loved the hotel and pool. The location is on a busy road, and there's no shops or restaurants near by, the walk down into the town we were told is about 15 mins, but it'd be a very steep walk back up to the hotel by the height of where we were staying, and so if you're looking for a hotel on the doorstep to shops/restaurants etc then this isn't ideal... but it's a great hotel - near the port and near the ferry and you can walk into Mykonos Town......and the pool.... well - check out the photos - it's pretty superb!!!! Not the hotel's fault, but it was very windy at the pool.... maybe we had an off day, but it would be exhausting to sit in that wind all day long. Otherwise, the hotel is gorgeous! :)

Access to rooms - very loud.

The room was specious with balcony. Since hotel at uphill the view was perfect Swimming pool & sun-bed also good. The AC was not cold enough, there is no luggage drop to the room u need to take it by ur self. Which was and upper flow and there is no elevator.

Our room was very pretty and clean! Sunset view from the pool each night was the highlight. Staff were lovely too. Buffet breakfast was great and the AC in the room was a life saver. The hill from the main town to the hotel was tough in the heat each day. We should have rented a quad bike to avoid this.

Nice delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Thin wall so you could hear the neighbors. was close in location to town. It was hard to get to town. Had to take a taxi. Take a taxi. Too high up on the hill, gorgeous facilities that the room was just average.

Price was too expensive, room had several issues.

WiFi signal was strong but Internet speed in the room and around the common areas was incredibly slow for some reason.
