This is certainly less than expected at a Wyndham property.

Over all stay was good. Room was clean. Not all the staff were helpful or polite but most were.

It was clean, comfy and the staff were great! The shower door wouldn’t stay closed and it got water all in the floor. It was an easy clean up though. The water pressure could’ve been better.

Everything was great except the flooring in bathroom and area before entering bath. Floors were loose More tables in breakfast area!

The hotel was great! There weren’t any issues. I liked the location, it was clean, comfortable. The only complaint I have is that there is nothing in the bathtub to keep one from falling. If maybe some sticky pads on the bottom on the bathtub. I would hate for someone to fall and get hurt in the bathtub.

Cleaning crew will come in your room, take the dirty cloths and towels, then dont replce them with clean ones. Lobby was smelly. during check out no one was at the desk. waited and waited. later noticed that both customer sevices were late. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Our family had a lovely stay. We stayed three nights. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the sheets and blankets were very soft. The shower was nice and roomy, but the water pressure could’ve been better. The hot continental breakfast was awesome! The pancake maker was a hit with our kids. It was nice to have scrambled eggs and breakfast sausages or bacon every day.It was convenient having a microwave and mini fridge in our room so we could heat food up and store it in the fridge. Housekeeping made our beds every day and cleaned our room, which was nice.The hotel is in a good location to get to where we needed to go. I would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Shower is big. Breakfast was sausage, eggs, bacon, biscuit and pancakes. I think there was cereal and bagels too.

Property was older but clean. Breakfast was so so. 2 of the 3 creamers were empty, sausage, bacon, bisquits no gravy. coffee machine wasnt working, luke warm and weak. They were supppsedly working on it.

I would stay again! Very clean bed was comfortable. The only reason for the 4 star is because they ran out of towels. Other than that it was a very great experience

hotel wasn't in the greatest area of town but it was very clean, all rooms seemed to be remodeled and updated. The hotel was immaculate. We would definitely book this property again.

Easy access from the highway since my primary visit was to visit the college campus. It was only a nine minute drive which took me through places that I can choose to eat or shop. Bathroom amenities were namebrand sponsored by Dove, which was great. Hallways our little dim, but manageable to find your room.

Beds were clean and comfortable, Breakfast is Not Breakfast do better in that area or don’t offer it. Parking was great plenty in the back. Bathroom walls filthy, ice machine leaked lots of water in the hallway. Lights in the hallways were seriously dark, which is scary. Overall for a budget this works in room bench or cushion was nasty. If you’re on a tight budget this is the place but the reviews don’t match the hotel. I booked based on proximity and reviews.

Rooms were clean and the staff was very nice at check in and out. Breakfast was the usual for a hotel. Parking was great. We didn’t use the pool or gym but checked them both out and they were nice! The Mexican restaurant next door was also very good and within walking distance.

Unfortunately, our morning experience wasn’t great. The layout for the breakfast bar being in the lobby is strange. The seating is limited and the chairs aren’t comfortable - plus you’re right where guests are checking in and out. It would’ve been nice to have a separate space for this meal - or at least a wall to separate the experiences. The breakfast food was good with sausage, biscuits, and gravy with eggs and make your own pancakes in a fun machine, along with fruit, cereal, yogurt, assorted breads and muffins. We were disappointed in the rude front desk clerk who didn’t greet or thank us and seemed annoyed when I asked for my receipt. Overall, the hotel is a great place to stay overnight.

Pretty disappointed. Stayed a year ago and had a great visit...not this time. Daily room cleaning was nonexistent. How could I tell? My wife shaves her legs in the shower the first morning...stubble was still in the shower the 3rd morning. Breakfast buffet that was so good a year ago was not kept up...waited nearly 30 minutes to get some eggs. Front desk staff seemed like we were bothering them upon check in and the one other time I interacted with them. Unattended 8-11 year old soccer kids running up and down the hallways banging on doors and screaming makes for a poor night of rest. NOT a pleasant stay.

Elevator wasn’t working so we had to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs. We didn’t know that at booking or we probably would have selected another hotel. Also our bed dipped down in the middle when laying on it.

This property was nice. The hotel smells great, it’s clean, comfy beds and nice breakfast. I have stayed here multiple times. The only thing we don’t love is the bathroom door but bathroom is great, nice showers, and complimentary soaps are nice. The elevator was not working but we were reassigned to the first floor upon arrival and elevator was quickly repaired.

This location is a diamond in the rough. It was great. Room was clean, beds firm, WiFi good, TV good (but complicated to use) but the highlight was their outstanding breakfast. In our trip from Missouri to Florida and back, this hotel had the greatest breakfast. If you are traveling in the area, you will love this place.

The building is new and sturdy. The shower design and fixtures are of very high quality as is the rest of the room. Breakfast always has the variety including oancake machine, hot buffet, and all the other items. It is essy to get to. There is a nice Mexican restaurant one can walk to, or a variety of restaurants in town. This hotel is very quiet. We stop here every year.

The room was clean. The mattress worn down. But a large group of children staying in the hotel had zero manners and adults with them were also mannerless. Front desk response to noise was basically they have the right to be loud until 11pm. They should have put traditional guests in an area away from the children.

When we walked into the room, the smell of stale air and cigarettes hit us. In a nonsmoking room. I immediately turned on the air conditioner. Then my husband took off his shoes and walked to the couch, and his socks were soaking wet. The carpet in the room was wet. I will never stay at another Wingate after this trip.

Screws in the shower were coming undone, the bathroom door handles looked hot glued together & fell apart, lamps were actually missing, light switches didn't work, drawers were stuck. The shower base pan had a crack running through it. The bathroom door was a barn door so you can hear EVERYTHING. A terrible design. Additionally, the door has opaque panels as a decorative element, but this causes the light from a bathroom in use to shine directly into the room. Not ideal for a room shared with multiple people. Awkward. There is no business center that is separate, so trying to work means you're in the main area where they have two big tvs blasting sports and news. They were so loud it was tough to do any work, even with earbuds. Breakfast was good. Pancakes vs. waffles, bagels, muffins, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, multiple types of juice, coffee and creamers. Jellies, butter, peanut butter, etc. avl for biscuits or pancakes. Staff was friendly and connected, despite a late arrival. Parking lot was very small and tight to maneuver.

Hotel is newly remodeled and rooms are spacious, clean and beds and pillows are comfortably. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is attentive. Breakfast was your standard Buffett but it was good. There is a Mexican restaurant that is walkable that had some of the best Birria tacos I’ve ever had. There is a truck stop close but I always felt safe. This hotel is a great value.

I’d give my week stay here a solid 10 if the staff had been more friendly and outgoing. As far as the room and facility it is a 10 out of 10. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Just felt ignored and unwelcome the entire week I was there. Felt more like an apartment instead of a hotel atmosphere as far as the front counter staff. Only spoke to one time in a week and that was my final departure day.

The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. The only issue I had with it was that it has a pocket style door to the restroom. You can slide it closed but it slides right back open. There is no shutting the door. My husband gets up earlier than me and typically does not wake me but did this time as the noise and light from the shower were not muffled at all. I was ok with this since it was my husband traveling with me, but if anyone else had been with me it would have been uncomfortable. Who wants to shower or use the restroom with the door always open??

Conveniently located off I-24. Parking was sparse, but it was raining (and dark) which made it difficult to see all the parking options around the building.

The only reason it was a 4 star versus a 5 star complete rating wise is because the pancake machine was out of order and that’s what my kids wanted for breakfast. That and the eggs and sausage weren’t very good. But it’s a hotel breakfast for ya.

This hotel is very clean, comfortable, and has exceptional staff. The breakfast was good. Being right off the highway, traffic is a little heavy but easy to navigate with a little bit of patience. Within 15 minutes of multiple great restaurants and a mall with stores like Sephora & Lululemon.

The check in went well. Our room had a musty, mildew odor. The door to the bathroom gives zero privacy. It had a huge gap in it allowing a visual of anyone in it. It would not remain closed. Breakfast could use a few more options and be more easily accessible. Maybe putting an additional coffee stand at a location away from the breakfast bar would allow for easier access.

TV didn't work. Phone charger plug did not work. Hotel located in a noisy area.

Honestly myself and my son both complained over how uncomfortable the beds were...way too firm. Front counter check in person wasn't overly friendly.

This was a nice surprise. The area wasn’t great but this place was clean and bright. The room was nice and cool and bright and well maintained. Breakfast was solid as was the lobby. 10 minutes from the Stones River National Battlefield. I’d definitely stay there again.

The room and property was very clean, beds very comfortable. We had no cold water in our shower and the hot water was scalding (faucet broken) making shower unusable. Front desk staff just brushed us off when we reported shower issue. We travel extensively, but don’t usually do reviews . This front desk persons attitude regarding the shower was inexcusable, a child just jumping in shower would have been seriously burned it was that hot.

This is a pet friendly hotel, but was unaware of it. They gave us a room that had never been pet occupied. It was clean and comfortable.

I liked how clean and new everything was and convenient to MTSU campus. Definitely was great for price paid! The sliding (barn) door to bathroom didn’t feel 100% private or sound proof (no fan for bathroom?)—but everything was spotless and clean. Beds were comfy and the hot continental breakfast was great. The automatic pancake maker was a hit with my kids!

We stay here every time we come to visit MTSU. We bring our pup and enjoy the doggy area (which is well maintained and clean) The rooms are always clean and have everything we need. Staff is always friendly.

Tiles in bathroom were loose

The hotel was nice, friendly staff, the food was good, the concept of the pancakes was cool but they were a little rubbery. The only real complaint I have was the parking in the back was ridiculous. We arrived around 1 on the morning and had to drive through the parking lot with hardly any space between the other vehicles. We truly expected to come out to dents on our car. They may want to rethink how that is set up. We’d definitely come back though…super comfortable and a great location!

Perfectly clean and quiet place, the beds very comfortable. Their staff are very friendly. The only problem was the breakfast with a terrible food. We just had a coffee and left.

Everything was great. Check in was quick & easy. Staff were friendly & helpful. Nice to find a hotel that was pet friendly. The room was comfortable & clean. The breakfast offered a lot of choices. Pancakes were great! Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome stay

We will be returning often! It’s a very clean, well maintained and modern place to stay. We highly recommend anyone in the Murfreesboro, Tennessee area to stay there. A fresh clean odor was not just a scent, the place is spotless. The staff were very kind, polite and friendly. Our room was the very first room, next to the lobby, dining area and an ice machine. But we didn’t hear a sound in our room. The shower was amazing, with plenty of pressure and hot water. The breakfast was delicious as well. We will return for all of our overnight stays while visiting family.

For the price this was a 5 star stay. Room was clean and excellent. It was all convenient.

This is our second time here recently and it is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Two issues: 1…we arrived at 12:10 to check in…we knew that was early. They said the room was ready but there was a $25 early check in fee. We sat in the lobby until 1:45 to not have to pay the fee. I can understand if the room was not available when we arrived but the room was available. As a side note we checked out at 4:00 AM but there was no early checkout refund. 2: The tub/shower was very slippery…my spouse and I came close to falling which at our age could have been a disaster. They need to fix that.

The people were very helpful, but we had a difficult time sleeping in the beds. I don't know if it was the beds themselves, the very heavy comforters, or the higher-than-normal humidity the two days of our stay. We just could not sleep without sweating(even with turning the room temperature down low). I was also surprised that even though the site had a pool, guests could dry their bathing suits in a guest drying machine. The staff was very helpful, but they were not able to resolve these issues themselves.
