Rodeway Inn Murfreesboro Downtown

Very easy access to the highway, and a perfect place to spend our time when we were not at Bonnaroo! Air-conditioning worked perfectly. Shower was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Location and owner were great Hotel sign not very visible, had trouble finding it the first few times

It served its purpose

There was no breakfast offered. For this price point, I am not bothered by this at all. I was here for a soccer tournament. The only time spent was getting ready for bed and waking up and hitting the road. This place served that purpose. Staff was friendly. It's an older place that has been remodeled. My issue with the room was the soap dispensers didn't work. The location had some shady characters with the smell of weed being smoked. I wouldn't let my son outside without me being with him. The shady characters hanging out on the balcony and in the parking lot. Strong smell of weed being smoked. I wouldn't feel comfortable if I was a woman by myself or with kids. It was just me and my son, so he was with me and I was ok with that.

Unsafe and shady people staying at this hotel. Owner does not take responsibility for the unsafe people that are long time staying guests. The room we got was marinated and weed smoke smell. It was a non smoking room. When I told the owner the room reeks of weed and cigarette smoke. His response, was "thats not my fault, it's the guy that has been staying here for a long time in the room nextdoor." The owner did not offer a different room and refuse to give me a refund.

AC was fine. No hot water in the shower

The front desk was very rude… he even watched us out the window to make sure we didn’t have any extra guest which we didn’t.

I absolutely liked the property! Harry the front desk clerk was wonderful and easy to talk with. I don’t normally stay at an outside entrance hotel, so I was a bit skeptical when pulling up. The rooms are clean and very nice, bed was comfortable. Will be staying again on my next trip up there! Nothing

This hotel was just fine. Everything worked as it should. The television channel offerings were pretty limited, but the WiFi worked OK.

Dirty staff really bad

We arrived at the hotel to check in & had to wait 15 minutes for an employee to arrive who speaks English & who could check us in. Then I was told they didn’t have a room with 1 king size bed (like I had reserved) available. He said they had a double queen bed room but I would have to pay $20 more. He refused to honor the price of our reservation. I called Hotels.com & they set us up with a different hotel & we stayed there instead. Thank you, Hotels.com!

No one present to check us in; Reservation cancelled WILL NEVER visit a Rhodeway Inn Hotel ANYWHERE again!

Crazy bedbugs

It’s mediocre stay, that’s quick for a one day visit!

Great room for $60. We got a remodeled room. Quiet and comfortable king bed. Clean bathroom. No complaints.

The outside is a little rough looking but the room wasn't too bad

It was old. Not very well maintained. No USB to charge the phones. Towels so old, they even scratch your face when wiping it.

There's a lady there that's a beautiful spirit!

Very good people. Clean room with coffee, big bed, very nice staff.

When I check in they told me there a $50 deposit for non smoking rooms but I was not made aware of this before booking the room and had to settle for a smoking room instead, very disappointed.

This property is being treated like a trap house . There was so much going on we had to put the chair up against the door and sit up all night cuz we was worried about our children. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was fairly comfortable but quite noisy. The person(s) above me on the 2nd floor thumped quite a bit.

This is an ok place to lay your head for a couple of nights, but that's about it. It is right next a major highway, so it is very noisy.

Quick overnight trip near downtown area so it was exactly what we needed at a fair price. Lobby clerk was polite, friendly and took care of the reservation quickly. Room was clean, bathroom was clean, and AC was cold. Had a fridge, microwave and TV too.

Older renovated hotel was a nice surprise. Rooms were smaller due to age but everything was updated, clean and comfortable. Staff was also extremely nice on check in and check out. Would definitely stay again.

Staff are very rude

I had an employee that stayed at Rodeway Inn in Murfreesboro the room was uncleaned there was cockroaches everywhere to be seen my employee took pictures as well as a video of an under the influence person was constantly trying to start drama he felt unsafe and had to leave I am being told that my company cannot be refunded for this stay. I need management to contact me ASAP due to this situation.

Once I turned on the bathroom and bedside lights, things were much better. Towels were very old and worn. I could barely wash myself with the washcloth because it was so threadbare. It kept bunching up in my hand rather than slide across my skin. Very frustrating. Everything else was ok. Not bad, but not exceptional either.

The room was surprisingly sufficient. Value per price ratio rates high in my opinion.

Owner is a joy, and his grand daughter really wanted to help check us in, though she's only 13 months old. Rooms have been modernized, and for the price, it's a very good stay.

It is not the most modern up-to-date stay we have had. However, it was clean and we slept well. For the price, it was more than adequate. Parking was near the door.

Always clean and quiet

When we arrived at 5:30 our room wasn’t ready and was being made up by house keeping. We checked in and had dinner before coming back but really it should have been ready. However cleaning was done to a high standard. We were worried about the safety of our car when there was a security buzzer to get in to reception however overall it was an ok stay. For the price we paid we were content.

Area was a little concerning but it was fine. Some traffic and train noise but not that bad. Nice clean room. I’m an easy grader but 7.5 out of 10. No frills.for sure. Good value and a good nights sleep in a clean room.

A safe, quiet, clean property.

It's near the main busy road, so traffic noise for some of the night and early morning. Nice for coffee in morning. Close to eating places and especially historical sights!

Room was okay convenient to travel the area. Only thing was not satisfied was the room when we checked in the wooded floor was sticky around the bed & bathroom area it was clean but contacted the front & they cleaned it the next day. The solution they used to clean the floor was too strong did not enjoy the smell during our stay. On the weekends if you dont mind the club bar next to the hotel there was people yelling & loud music going on late at night.

Great stay room are great

The girl at the reception made a copy of my credit card and driver's license, despite me telling her not to do it. I paid online and she had nothing to do with my credit card. This is an extreme violation of my privacy - if any problems involving identity theft should occur, this place would definitely be one I'd be looking at.

Good location, clean room and courteous staff.

The motel is right off the town square in Murfreesboro which puts you in an easy drive to everywhere. It is also a nice place to kick off a walk in a historic part of town. Nothing fancy, but clean and a very reasonable price. My daughter goes to MTSU and I have (and will continue to) stayed here on several visits.

Totally fulfilled our needs. The only complaint is that the non-smoking room did smell a bit like smoke.

The property was on the edge of the homeless part of town. The safety lock on my door didn't work, even though I asked twice. Room very clean.

Very clean something important to me

Con: cleaning staff on 2nd day moved our personal items. I had hung up my CPAP tubing on the clothes rack, and it was taken down. Items left on bathroom counter were moved onto our suitcase. Clothing left out was placed in suitcase. Trash not taken out. Large hair clump in bathroom that wasn’t ours. During weeknight, construction workers staying (men from out of state) who also hang outside smoking past midnight. LOTS of smokers hanging outside. Honestly made me wonder if this is also a “residental” motel. So if you’re traveling alone, you may not feel safe enough to stay here. Obvious history of leak from upstairs over shower that doesn’t appear fixed. Toilet is practically right up next the wall. Not many outlets in room.

The room was renovated recently and was well tidied up prior to check in. Check in was a bit slow though. Overall, not bad.

Considering the space lack some amenities (carpet in rooms, lounge, etc), it was very clean and nice looking inside rooms. Although it was $55 per night, it was nice. The only complaint I have was sometimes, the some patrons of the hotel were loud and unruly in the evening hours.

Awkward parking lot but overall a decent hotel for the price. About 35 min from Nashville. Good selection of restaurants nearby. Good location!

Location was awful, trains going by all night. Shower looked like it had just been used and there was only one towel. Vending area was filthy and the machines didn't function. Over all felt unsafe.

A little bumpy the first night, but next four days staff was pleasant and helpful.

No place to hang my clothes or jacket. No outlets near the deak except the one underneath/behind the mounted television. Lotion dispenser was clogged. Other than these minor issues, it was a clean and comdortable stay.

I have stayed here numerous times and each time it gets better and better. They know me by name and keep updating their rooms! Very clean and easy accessible! My daughter goes to MTSU and this is a great place to call a second home while visiting her in college! I highly recommend you give them a try!

Room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly. Not enough towels and wash rags and pillows were not comfortable. Street noise was a little loud but it’s located on a busy street. e got a great rate on the room so can’t really complain.

Room super nice clean newly remodeled. However we had a king size bed with two standard pillows. Property located in a congested area. Several issues woth cars being blocked in . Could use some noise reductio as well. People were sitting outside outside smoking noise echoed into the room. Overall not bad experience

very good location, but a bit run down, refrigerator in room leaked water all over the floor, bed short on pillows, and not enough towels for 2 people.

I guess you get what you pay for... I would not stay here again. Urine smell in parking lot brought into the room via air conditioner. Property was also very difficult to find.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable good-sized room for the price. Good shower. Nice to have a fridge that you can actually use (not stuffed with outrageously-priced junk-food). They could be a bit more generous with coffee/tea supplies in the room. If you just need someplace near I-24 to sleep for a night or two this place is perfect.

Did not appreciate the constant reminder that I couldn’t have any guest in my room as if she knew I would. The desk girl was rude and condescending. I was there for work and I’d sleep in my vehicle before I pay these ppl 80$ a night to be babysat like a child.

Clean enough no frills budget stay. We only stayed in the room less than 12 hours, in and out for soccer tournament. Fine for the price.

All seemed newly renovated, including the outside property. Owner gladly offered to switch us to a downstairs room when he noticed mom struggling with the stairs. Very pleased with the nice room and the price.

This hotel was clean. The check-in staff was pleasant. It was conveniently located.

I booked this for my other half who just needed a place to sleep. He was not happy, said bad parking very dingy and wouldn’t stay there again. I asked if it was clean and he said “ I couldn’t tell if it was dirty or just old”.

A very quaint little hotel that has recently been renovated . Everything about my stay was absolutely awesome except for the parking . This is a small hotel with a very small parking lot . The have an agreement with the property next door for larger vehicles though .

The room was safe and clean which was the most important to me. However, when I wanted to get a cup of water to drink it was lukewarm and that afternoon when I showered the water was too cool to stand under. It was the same temp. for all lukewarm. Too warm to drink and too cool for a shower. The toliet was loose and although the TV was a new model very little but home shopping and info commercials could be watched.

wifi was spotty.

The air conditioner was a little noisy but when it was running it drowned out the sound of traffic. The man at the front desk said they would move us to another room if we wanted to but we didn't need to, we didn't have trouble sleeping.

Did see one small coherent burn hole on bedspread in a non smoking room. That was the only one complaint.
