Location When we pulled out the sofa bed, the mattress cover had blood stains all over it and it was just very disgusting and smelled really bad
- 5/5
Location. Nothing
- 4.5/5
Location to where I needed to be. There is a doggy day care next door. with a lot of baking dogs. Lighting in room was dim.
- 5/5
Lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Location was great! The toilet in our room was almost falling apart!
- 4.5/5
Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Pillows were uncomfortable. The room seemed older.

- 0.5/5
Location was only thing good about property I booked and paid in advance for king suite disability roll in shower with separate living room and kitchen area with bar. They put me in dirty unsafe regular room. It had respirator running when I walked in. I asked them to remove the respirator. Room should have been aired out for hours before it was safe for anyone to be in there. They refused to change room. Bed unkempt. I had put towel in chair to cover dried dog poop so I could sleep in chair. They told me that day to get another room I would have to give that person cash. They gave me no refund. I went day 2 and paid for a room at another location to get a clean bed. I stayed only one night at Candlewood and stayed the rest of my visit at another hotel in a different location.
- 5/5
the tv didn’t have a lot of channels and was hard to work with it
- 2.5/5
The location was great. The facility smelled great and seemed clean. After being in our room for an hour we found a roach crawling up the wall by the door. I did report it to the front desk who apologized and offered to get us another room. But we had already had a sleepless night and just felt uncomfortable thinking another room would not have changed that. We asked to check out early, they agreed. Was disappointed that some other reduced compensation was not offered.
- 4/5
The entrance was hard to drive into and out due to flow of traffic.
- 5/5
No
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
Great staff! Very clean rooms!
- 5/5
We stayed two nights, staff were great. Room was big. Parking was easy.
- 4/5
Room was big and comfortable bed etc ac was nice and cool. Bathroom ok. Pool and hot tub super refreshing - that was the reason we stayed. Would recommend and stay again!!
- 5/5
A favorite place to stay in Murfreesboro. Clean, modern, in room safes, conveniently located, super friendly helpful staff. A great selection of shopping from quick in & out stores, to fine dining & upscale shops. The area is beautiful to boot. Try them, I promise you won’t be disappointed
- 5/5
Very clean. Great staff!
- 5/5
Parking was difficult as the lot isn’t big and ver narrow to back out.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice & clean. My room was damp & musty. Had to run the AC below 68 to keep the smell down. Staff very friendly. If you came back late at night (around 10 pm) the parking lot was full & you had no place to park.
- 4/5
The check in staff was very nice. There had been a mix-up with the reservation from Expedia, but she worked it pout for us.
- 2/5
(2) Got back to room at 10PM and room had not been cleaned. Asked front desk to have it cleaned and they offered to only give me some towels. Demanded a new room and they gave me one on the same floor but I had to move everything myself in the middle of the night. No apology from staff ?? (3) staff hanging around the side door outside for a long time (4) cleaning staff had their babies with them while cleaning the rooms rolling their cribs around with them. Very noisy and obviously not doing their job.... (5) left my name & number for Manager and no call back ......Lousy customer service....... (6) TV did not work the first night and the front desk person had to come up and fix it......
- 4/5
Good stay. Only real problem was that sunlight always got through the shades so it was hard to stay asleep in the mornings.
- 5/5
Was welcomed with a smile and all the details were taken care of. The room was clean and quiet whole night. After staying at several locations in Murfreesburo this is now my preferred place to stay.
- 5/5
I was visiting MTSU for work and this hotel was great. Very nice, good location on a main road near lots of restaurants/gas stations/stores/etc., and only about a 10 minute drive to MTSU.
- 2/5
Room was not ready when we arrived although they did give us another room. In our room, the carpet was coming up from the floor, there was toothpaste on the bathroom wall, sticky substance on the lamp base. We stayed there in the past and the experience was better, it seems the hotel has gone down.
- 4/5
It was a great stay! Hotel was nice.
- 5/5
From the front desk to the service, everything was at the best.
- 2/5
My first morning, there were no forks available for the breakfast bar. Staff had no solution other than to say they were expecting a truck. All the forks, spoons and knives (when available) were inserted in the cup holders handle first. Meaning that the eating ends were touched by everyone that was trying to get an utensil. The food was exactly what you would expect for free. Edible but not at all good. My room had a faint musty smell to it. This facility is something that I would expect at half the price and not the price paid.
- 5/5
Easily one of the most comfortable nights in TN! Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
This was a nice hotel overall. The hotel was clean and all of the staff I met were friendly and helpful. The suite was smaller than other suite-style hotels I've stayed at, but larger than a traditional room. The room seemed clean upon entry - nothing fancy - but was just fine for us. There were a few little things that keep me from rating this hotel 5 stars. First, we arrived 90+ minutes after check in but the room wasn't ready. We didn't wait long but I believe others did. I'm guessing that they were short on cleaning crew as our suite was also only partially cleaned during the day. They took up the dirty towels but didn't replace with clean towels and didn't empty the overflowing trash. Also, the parking lot and stalls were really small. Larger vehicles have to take up multiple spaces and by evening there were only a couple of very small spaces left - even for my compact car. These weren't big issues for me and I'd stay there again since it seemed the nicest affordable option in the area.
- 5/5
Had surgery done and used your medical center near by and the hospital in Shellbyville. easy as pie
- 5/5
Nicest room we've ever stayed in! Very clean and comfortable!! Only drawback was the barking dogs in a kennel next door.
- 5/5
We have stayed in several different hotels in Murfreesboro over the last 5 years. I'm so happy that we decided on Comfort Suites this year. The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, the breakfast was great, & the staff members where courteous & friendly. We will definitely stay here again & again. Great place!!! I have nothing negative to say at all about our stay!
- 5/5
Nice stay. Newer hotel in shopping area. Room was fresh and clean. Bed was comfortable. Warm continental breakfast. Will stay here again on our way to Atlanta.
- 3/5
Hotel was in a convenient location, but their accounting in regards to billings needs to be updated. The front desk associates need to learn their systems and programming on how customers are billed and charged.
- 5/5
Great stay. I plan to stay again.
- 3/5
The staff was FANTASTIC! My wife is the one who stayed and has a blood sugar drop overnight. They helped her out which I appreciated. The check in staff made her feel welcomed. Not many options close to hotel there than fast-food in close walking distance at night.
- 4/5
Had a few minor issues that were taken care of immediately.
- 5/5
Great value for money!
- 4/5
Everything was great, however, I came home with two mystery bites that are itching teribly. I am hoping they were not what I hope they are not. Would have given 5 stars if not for this. Thanks.
- 5/5
My husband and I stayed for one night. The room was clean, bed very comfortable, staff was pleasant. We got in too late to enjoy the spa, but it looked nice. Breakfast was adequate: waffles, bagels, fruit, yogurt, bacon, eggs...
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Stayed for two nights to be close to Nashville. Just a short drive into the city.
- 4/5
Dog kennel next door had dogs barking all night
- 4/5
We stayed here for one night in passing through. Unfortunately when we arrived, our original room had been cleaned, but the toilet still had urine in it. The night manager quickly moved us to an equal room and we enjoyed our night's rest and the breakfast was great. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
Our room had a noise in the wall behind the bed.
- 4/5
this hotel provided a very nice overnight stay for us. with a very good breakfast bar, The room was nice as well. thank you..
- 4/5
The hotel was nice.
- 5/5
a clean, cool, comfortable room. Staff was helpful. Coffee was fantastic.
- 4/5
Hotel was fine. Rooms clean and comfy. Pool needed cleaning as did whirpool. Breakfast bar very limited but okay
- 4/5
This was work related. Staff was very nice and the room was clean and very comfortable (and roomy). Good choice for the price! Thank you.
- 3/5
Our room smelled really bad. You could tell that they had done a lot of work to make the room look nice but our room was on the first floor and next to the pool. This room looked as if it got a lot of use. I could not get over the smell. Sorry
- 3/5
Large room, good amenities, comfortable beds. Only issue was the air conditioning blowing on the beds. There were no luvors to direct the air away. Overall good hotel for the price paid.
- 3/5
This hotel was quit comfortable but the only issues I had was the sleeper sofa was stained on both cushions that gave an appearance that it was dirty. Also the toilet looked like it was cleaned.
- 4/5
Comfortable room!!
- 3/5
The hotel looks updated but is not kept up very well. Cleanliness seemed to be an issue in lots of areas. The carpet was dirty everywhere I looked. My couch in my suite had a large stain and did not pull out as you would expect in a Comfort Suites. The workout room had 3 machines and 1 was broken. It was also dirty with no towels. Staff was polite.
- 3/5
Definitely not worth $200/night!
- 1/5
Stained up pull out sofa. Bathroom was not cleaned--hairspray residue on toilet seat, soap "sludge" leftover from previous bar of soap on sink, tootpaste spatters all over mirror, faucet and counter. When mentioned to the manager, he said, "I don't know what those cleaning people are doing." That's it. Ridiculous.
- 3/5
Couch in room was stained. Bathroom floor was missing tiles. Bathroom shower and floor had hair knit when we first arrived.
- 4/5
it was fine except the repairs being done to the elevator lobby on our floor - large pieces of wallpaper left on the floor over night. Then when we got in the second night our TV remote was different and all different channels on the TV. A zillion shopping channels and nothing really to watch. I will probably try to find a different hotel with a more complete cable selection for our next trip, as it was quite annoying to have maybe 6 channels that weren't shopping or sports or weather/news.
- 3/5
No problems with the room, once I was allowed to check in. However, because there was a glitch with Hotels.com when I checked in such that the room wasn't pre-paid as it should have been, I simply wanted to receipt when I checked out that proved that everything has been addressed and that my own card was not charged. The woman at the front desk, knowing my situation, gave me a hard time about getting a receipt and flatly refused me despite my repeated requests. I never got that receipt, and I just don't know why it was so hard for them to give me a simple printout that they give to other customers day in and day out. She should have just made me happy, but clearly she was more concerned with her protocol. I come to Murfreesboro quite a bit, but next time I will likely choose another property.
- 5/5
I wasn't happy that my credit card was charged 2 months ago when we booked; however, check-in was quick!! The staff person was VERY courteous!!
- 5/5
The hotel is being remodeled; but during out stay; the hotel was very clean. The continental breakfast had a large variety of food to choose from, the room was very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.
- 4/5
Nice hotel for the price.
- 2/5
When I booked the room I was told the pool would be clean and open. The opposite was true. The room temperature was hard to regulate, the lamp shade was broke when we checked in, there was no bathroom vent, the ice bucket liner was never replaced.
- 5/5
Would recommend this hotel. Our stay was great.
- 5/5
Stopped on the way home from Florida. Great stay good breakfast
- 4/5
The hotel and room were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good as well. The front desk clerk was friendly; however, she was attempting to take care of personal business on her cell phone, which distracted her from concentrating on taking care of guest. The stay overall was a pleasant experience.
- 5/5
Wonderful beds and convenient location. The room was large and spacious. Breakfast was fresh and good. But the best part was the very comfortable beds.
- 2/5
Our 4 night stay at this hotel was marred by the theft of approximately $200 in expensive cosmetics from the room when housekeeping cleaned the room. I reported it to the front desk, filed a police report, and asked to speak with the manager, but was never contacted after several requests. Very disappointed in their lack of concern.
- 4/5
This hotel was a little off the highway for us but it exceeded our expectations for our stay. Staff was great. Breakfast was standard fare, not much protein.
- 5/5
WOW! I was blown away by how nice the hotel and room was. I wasn't expected it to be so clean and certainly didn't know it was so nice. The breakfast in the morning was also top notch and included waffles, eggs, bacon, cereals, fruit, yogurt, bagels and more. Totally a great value.
- 3/5
Nice hotel but daily upkeep needs improvement.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay
- 3/5
Walked in and was impressed until I tried to put my things in the closet and the safe door wouldn't stay closed and hit me in the leg. Couldn't move it the safe because even if it was no longer attached to the wall, it was still attached to the floor. Went down to sit in the whirlpool and it was filthy. No do not disturb sign for your door and they couldn't find one, so we made our own. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were small in size. On a good note...The room was a nice size and looked clean.
- 3/5
Hotel under renovation but rooms have upgraded bedding and TV. Staff friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was very good.
- 4/5
Good place to stay close to many amenities. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
clean rooms, breakfast was satisfying. we were close enough to Nashville without being in city. traveling routes were perfect
- 1/5
After having had a great experience previously with Comfort Suites hotels I was very disappointed with this stay!! The front desk clerk was rude. There was a long black hair on one corners of the bed by the pillows. The safe in the closet was falling off the wall. There were only three bath towels for four people. There were no extra sheets, blankets, pillows for the couch. The beds were in need of replacement as they sagged and creaked. The breakfast bar was out of most things and when you asked for a re-fill of something it took forever and the girl acted as if she was being put out.
- 4/5
Great room and very comfortable. In process of remodeling and upgrading but still comfortable. Love seat and chair a little outdated and need replaced but beds were very good
- 5/5
They had several signs asking guests to "Please pardon our mess as we remodel," but I encountered no mess what so ever.
- 3/5
We stayed there the last week of March....the web site never mentioned they were remodeling....(we never saw any going on) the areas we were in were nice and clean...our room was very clean but the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it was ready to come down....the breakfast was typical for a gratis breakfast and the area was very clean and cozy....I would stay here again but after all the rooms have been remodeled....
- 5/5
I was a displaced Hampton loyal person trying something new--the only nice hotel in the area with availability! What a lovely surprise. Clean, lovely room with enough amenities to make me happy. A bountiful breakfast the next day. It was all great and I was impressed. Staff was pleasant enough, just a bit uninspiring. I would definitely go back!
- 5/5
Highly recommend this hotel. Clean, quiet and spacious rooms.
- 4/5
disappointed in "fitness center" equipment was broken down & unusable
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was very helpful and friendly!
- 5/5
Very nice, clean, comfortable room. Close to restaurants and shopping.
- 5/5
Very Nice. Dog kennel close by but didn't hear it after dark.
- 5/5
A very nice place to say. You'd expect to pay more for a hotel room this nice.
- 5/5
Whenever I come to Murfreesboro I always stay here. Everything is clean, the staff is friendly & helpful & the bkfst has a big variety, including eggs & bacon.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Great breakfast.
- 5/5
We stopped here on our way home after a trip to Florida and found it to be a very comfortable stop on a long journey home. The rooms were clean and spacious, the beds quite comfortable, and the staff helpful and friendly. We stayed in five different places on this particular trip and found this to be our most comfortable stay.
- 5/5
Lovely, clean suite...very nice layout! Great comfortable bed, slept very well. Very quiet. Nice desk clerk. Would stay again anytime.
- 5/5
interstate.
- 5/5
Comfortable stay
- 3/5
Breakfast okay but limited
- 5/5
Stayed for business training. Would stay at this hotel again if in the area.
- 4/5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our comfortable, clean room! The breakfast was also good! We will come again when we are in Murphreesbo!!
- 5/5
Great overnight stay for business in Smyrna. Room was comfortable, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of variety on both the hot and cold bars. Easy 12 minute drive to Smyrna wiyh much bettet rates than the hotels near I24 in Smyrna. Would definitely choose this hotel again.
- 5/5
The hotel appears to be fairly new. It was everything we expected for the money. I would definitely recommend it!
- 4/5
Nice, clean, quiet room. Would certainly recommend staying here. We will be back for sure.
- 5/5
Internet access was a problem. Front desk staff did not appear professional.
- 3/5
The hotel facilities were nice but there were a few problems that I addressed to the Staff.. The jacuzzi was not operating which I was looking forward to using.
- 5/5
This hotel was a great stay and excellent value for price paid. I got a "suite" (large room with sofa, fridge, and microwave) for same price as a regular hotel room. They have a full hot breakfast -- scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles made from batter (not the frozen kind), biscuits and gravy, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, good coffee, etc. Also the bed and sheets are luxurious. They put 5 pillows on the king-size bed with a sign informing the guest that the ones in back are firmer, and the ones in front are softer. Nice touch! There's a Cracker Barrel restaurant nearby as well as many other options for dinner.
- 5/5
Stayed one night on way home from Florida. Nice place to stop---comfortable, clean, and convenient. Several good places nearby to eat dinner. Provided breakfast was good with a variety of choices.
- 5/5
Very Pleasant
- 5/5
excellent !
- 4/5
Stopped for the night on our way home from Hilton Head Island. Everything was fine, except something had been dropped in the bathtub-taking out a chunk of the coating. It was starting to rust. It just wasn't very appealing. Breakfast was good, and everyone was friendly.
- 5/5
Excellent choice of Hotels !!!!
- 4/5
The room was very nice. Comfortable beds. Breakfast just so so. Powdered eggs.
- 4/5
The parking for this place sucks. There are just not enough spaces when the rooms are filled. People who have a tow, such as a trailer take up as many as five spaces which make it even worse.
- 4/5
For the price and star rating, this is a great option in Murfreesboro. I've stayed at a few of the hotels in town and this one ranks close to the top. Free wifi was spotty sometimes. It seemed to work better on my computer than on my phone. The Hampton Inn nearby is nicer, but also more expensive.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and bed was comfortable. The setting was convenient and easy to access.
- 5/5
The bed was very comfortable. I may plan to stay there again when I pass through again.
