Big and clean! Breakfast was good!

Much of the property has been renovated and a pleasing to the eye. The big downfall was the stair wells. The stairwells were filthy and looked like they had been used buy homeless invividuals, who left their filth behind. The sidedoor entrances where unsecure.

The indoor pool area was nice, but the pool was very cold. Breakfast was overall decent. The stay was overall fine for the price paid.

The bathtub drained slowly while using the shower. The toilet seat was missing a bolt to hold it in place (this was a huge safety hazard). The sink faucet wasn't securely fastened to the sink. It rotated side to side.

Had to change rooms due to television not working. Also the “hot breakfast” was waffles(old batter” that failed. Only 2 bagels and 4 pieces of bread for toast available including very old cereals. Still waiting on the “Hot Food”!!. Also, room keys did not work on day 2. Overall, a negative stay!!. Also “ladies of the evening were on property “

Clean room and bathroom but worn. Breakfast was barely provided with no restocking even 30 minutes before end of designated serving time. Only make your own waffles and cold cereal readily available. Front desk staff accommodating but breakfast staff too busy visiting among themselves to serve guests.

It took 3 rooms to start with fist door would not open, 2nd door sticks sink leaks and smells bad (also not a queen room as reserved) 3 rd room was a queen ,but dirt around there visible edges. There appears to be a small water leak in the bathroom wall. Pool short on towels,spa tub jets did not work. Same poor breakfast every day hard sausage scrambled eggs and potatoes.

I don’t even know where to start. We had just been at the NASCAR races and didn’t end up getting out of there till 3 AM so we had no other options We first pulled in went inside. Check-in went Smooth on the way to our room there was trash all over the floor everywhere in the hallway when we finally got to our room we went to go in, but none of the lights, but one lamp worked all the other ones were broken had Cigarette burns and stains all over them. The room definitely was not clean look like someone rubbed something all over the windows melted crayons all over the desk. The sheets were completely stained when I called to see if we can get a different room. He said I’m sorry you should’ve picked an inside room. It never said on the website if you wanted a nice clean room you had to pick an inside room Where the pool was I said can I please have a different room he showed me the next room which was actually clean but when I pulled the sheets back to check for bugs just in case there was a huge blood spot where you could tell bedbugs where feeding on something I said heck no can I have my money back and go somewhere else? He said no it was not his problem because like he said, we picked an outside And not an inside room where the pool was at this time it was 3 o’clock in the morning because we had just got there from a NASCAR race. Mind-blowing location! It's right in the heart of the city within walking distance to shops and restaurants, yet the rooms were perfectly quiet. Loved the comfortable beds.

Our room was quite nice with some newer furniture. AC was good. Pool looked nice but mainly kids, which is fair enough. Mexican girl on breakfast was lovely. She helped me rescue the waffle maker after I didn't use any spray on it. Breakfast was nice enough, but being in a room painted black like a nightclub didn't feel right. It was very dark & dingy.

The hot tub was unusable, it was cloudy and dirty. The pool as well. The hot tub had 8 children in it when we went by the first time, and 9 people, mostly children, at 10 pm. the rest of the motel needs sprucing up in the public areas.

The room was spacious, clean, and had everything needed for a longer and more relaxing stay. I also liked the overall atmosphere of the hotel the pool area, breakfast, and friendly staff made the experience even better. Definitely a great choice if you want a hotel that feels a little more like home.

I also liked how everything was well maintained, from the pool area to the breakfast setup. Definitely recommend the atrium view rooms if you want a more enjoyable and memorable stay.

This guy simply comes out to the hot tub and says it doesn't work. The toilet in the room didn't flush, called the front desk. They said flush harder... umm, you're kidding, right.!!! Half the outlets in the room did NOT work. I feel like I should be reimbursed. I reached out to booking.con with no response. I had wanted to get another motel for my second night. I will never stay in another Clarion place again. I do not plan on using booking .Com for my next trip in July...

Absolutely disgusting place. Hundreds of roaches and bed bugs everywhere. Have video for proof. Plus I was charged 180 extra then what I was quoted online. They also gave my reservation to someone else and then upgraded the room they gave me without letting me know. I had. Just drove over 150 miles to get there with my kid and had just got off work. All I wanted was a few hours sleep before my next 12 hr shift. I didn't get that because I was arguing with them about getting an itemized list of my charges. Then I asked for a walk through upon my departure to confirm there were no damages and they ignored me. I will be contacting my bank and reporting the unauthorized charges. The TV didn't work and the hot tub and pool was shut down. After my shift I was counting on those specific amenities. Complete disaster and I was terrified to even eat the food with all the visible roaches and bugs.

Needs maintanace kind of put of shape. TV didn't work stairs to 2nd floor are very steep and narrow a bit dangerous. Breakfast are was dimly lit.

No where on this site does it tell you that you have to pay a 50$ cash deposit!! I prepaid my room, my family is homeless, all the money we had that day to get us a room so excited for showers a bed!! The front desk girl was SO RUDE made me feel even worse being homeless , told me literally told me she had no compassion for us whatsoever !! Call the manager

I will say the front desk clerk during check-in was very nice and friendly, which was probably the only positive part of the stay. About 30 minutes after getting into our room, a roach came crawling across the wall. I immediately called the front desk to notify them and asked if someone could spray the room or move us to another room. I was then told I would have to pay an upgrade fee to switch rooms… after finding a roach in the original room. That made absolutely no sense. I requested a refund, but they refused because I booked through a third party. After going back and forth with management over the phone, the manager finally agreed to refund everything except the taxes. Since it was graduation weekend and almost every hotel nearby was booked, we really had no choice but to stay. Eventually, they waived the upgrade fee and moved us to another room. The next morning we decided to check out the “free breakfast” before leaving, and it honestly looked terrible so we left without eating. To make matters worse, the pool and hot tub were dirty. My kids LOVE swimming, and even they looked at the water and said, “No Dad, I’m good.” Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I will NEVER stay here again. You have been warned.

The outside of the motel looks a little sketchy. The inside of the rooms were pretty clean & nice. Breakfast was ok. Both pools were closed and that was part of the reason we booked this, Kids were sad since they couldn’t go swimming . We got the suite and it was two rooms combined with two bathrooms and two pull out couches, liked that a lot!Had more space if that’s what you need

The entire property needs to be gutted and updated - carpeting is horrible, the pool & hot tub are badly chipped. The hot tub was very warm but had no jets so the little kids basically used it as a warmer version of the pool. The breakfast was skimpy to say the least and there was only powder creamer which is gross.

Outside property was nasty, garbage on curb near front door. Badly i need of basic renovations. Outside pool was closed, inside pool was nice but not clean, strong sell of chlorine, as if treating but not cleaning actual pool. Halls were not air conditioned, some were dark, not well lit, did not feel safe. Elevator was nasty. Seasons restaurant is not much at all, all dark inside more of a bar club feel, not what I would call family friendly. After stepping into the restaurant for an evening meal, we ended up walking out to eat somewhere else. Did not bother going for the free breakfast the next day. Our actual room was clean, beds were comfortable and actually had good pillows. Lots of handicapped parking spaces, but just not being taken care of. We did call ahead to see if we could check in an hour early and were told we could check in 30 minutes early. After walking down a long hall with no a/c, I was hoping that our room would feel cool. A/C was not even on. It took over an hour to get tolerable. It would seem that since we had called ahead, they already knew we were in area and coming in that they would have the A/C on for the rooms they know were reserved. That just really did not set a good tone. I will never return to this hotel. After 10pm, some kids were running up and down the halls like they were running a race, slamming doors continuously and adults standing out in halls talking loudly with no regard to other occupants feelings, no respect, very rude behavior.

One thing I will say, our first room had “issues” and we were moved without any problem. Not terrible but will not ever stay here again. The second room was dirty, had wet spilled drinks left on the table, and to make it even more disgusting, someone’s dirty underwear was still in the bathroom. Clearly nobody cleaned the room before handing it over to paying guests. On top of that, both rooms absolutely reeked of cigarette smoke despite supposedly being non-smoking. And the “continental breakfast” was a joke. The cereal was stale, the orange juice was warm, and the milk was lukewarm. Nothing about this stay felt clean, maintained, or cared for. For the amount hotels charge nowadays, basic cleanliness and functioning amenities shouldn’t be too much to ask. This place was unprofessional, dirty, and poorly managed. Would not stay here again and definitely would not recommend to anyone.

If you like to sleep where drugs are being smoked outside of your door stay here. Its rooms also stink of marijuana smoke. I wouldn’t even let my dog stay here. I gave it a benefit of a doubt and asked to view the room and the guy locked me between the outside door and inner door. To top it all off they refused to issue me a refund for the remainder of the nights. I wasn’t even asking for all of them just the last three since I didn’t stay at all. Piss poor quality and customer service

My husband traveled to this location and said the hotel was less than par, there appeared to be illegal activity occurring on the grounds, the tv wasn't working and no one responded to the request. I am asking for a full refund as my husband did not stay as the environment was not safe.

Clean and comfortable beds. Poor drainage of the bath. Shower wasn't as hot as the sink. Couldn't get full pressure to the shower, as partially still flowing to bath as well. Fan in bathroom didn't work and dirty. Remote for Direct TV didn't operate very well. Curtains were not a good fit. Generally noisy with activities in daytime hours.

Clarion hotels are usually good but this one was one step below a long term stay. The pool was dirty, hot tub was dirty and Luke warm, no ice machines working, and refrigerator in room didn't keep drinks cold. Doors slamming all night.

Strongly suggest not to stay here. Yes the price is good but the place is dirty and just not a nice place to stay. We travel quite a bit and this may be one of the worst places we have stayed. Quite frankly we should have relocated to a nicer hotel. Will absolutely not stay there again.

Breakfast - Eggs, Sausage, and hash browns were cold and dry. The coffee was watered down. Hot tub - Was not as warm as bath water. No switch to turn on the jets. Water was filthy with a thick layer of skin flakes floating on top. When asked, the manager gave a tirade about "Call the health department. We have a permit." "Heated Pool" was cold, but clean. Want to unpack? There is no stand to lay your bags. Had to lay the bag on either the bed or the counter top. Only 2 small drawers in the room, so you're pretty much living out of your bag for your stay. The "sofa" was the most unusable piece of furniture I've ever seen. This place is OK if you just need a place to spend a single night.

Nasty. We left with no refund. We had to change rooms because the curtains didn't close, then the TV didn't work and the smell of smoke was horrible. I "paid for an upgrade" to get a "better room" but it was all just as bad. The pictures lie on this one.

The amenities were limited and not as advertised—the pool was closed and the gym equipment was outdated. Cleanliness was also disappointing. The room had visible dust, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned upon arrival. This affected the overall comfort of the stay.

The "heated" pool inside was freezing and the outside pool was out of order. The toilet had not been cleaned and the shower curtain was soured and had to be changed. They did not collect our trash the whole 3 nights we stayed. Would not give a refund when we asked the next morning after finding all this out after the first night. She told us we could check out but there would be no refund. Horrible place, would advise never to stay there!

Pool was cold—-clientele was hanging around all areas inside and outside—-heavy smell of pot—-noisy in the halls all night—-sheets had holes in them—-cigarette butts outside the doors. Overall poor upkeep and a general vibe of drug use, noise and questionable clientele.

First room Tv wasn’t working but front desk was nice enough to move us to a room with working TV both rooms smelled like urine.No phone to call front desk in the room. Breakfast was good and hot. Lots of police presence at hotel. Close to Walmart and target and various fast foods. Towels in room had makeup stains on them. Not worth the price of $90 a night in my opinion.

The toilets were all leaking or would not flush properly, and the breakfast was served in the bar area. This hotel has a lot of families and I feel like that should be disclosed before you book your stay. No one wants to bring their 3 year old to eat breakfast in a dark dingy bar after hours.

The pool was ice cold. Not just cool but freezing. Even worse the hot tub was dirty and lukewarm. We used the net to dip out as much debris as we could but it was impossible. Since they got in briefly we made them get out immediately and back to the room to shower The front desk person told me the health department will not let them turn the heat up. That doesn’t make sense. She also said someone cleans the hot tub every other day. I checked the following evening. Still dirty. Instead we went to Patterson Park for swimming. I will never stay there again. Yes the rates are good but I’d pay more for the amenities I wanted. Please clean your pool and hot tub and make it heated as advertised.

Off before placing my things down. I booked this hotel because of the hot tub and no other reason since I was driving 4 days and needed it for my back, however the hot tub did not work. It was luke warm water with no functioning jets. I even went to the front desk to ask how to turn them on and was told they are automatic every 20 min on/off. The people already in the hot tub said they had been there for an hour and never had jets. So the Hotel thinks a hot tub and a luke warm shared bath is the same thing? Also No pool towels when there is a sign in the room saying not to bring room towels to the pool because “pool towels are provided at the pool” Very very disappointed. Will not recommend or stay again.

We had to get on the road and had a 7 hour drive ahead of us and my son had something he had to be at so we couldn't wait for it to open. We had already waisted 20 minutes waiting for it to open. Hot tub wasn't open either. Would have been nice to relax after a long day traveling.

The beds were comfy and clean. Hot tub was filthy. Hall floors were filthy. Room floor had chocolate chips and pieces of plastic on it. Staff was very courteous. The pool and hot tub could have been really nice if the water was clean.

I've been staying here quite a bit for the last three years. I travel from Florida to help out with my family. It's seriously gone down hill, used to get four pillows per bed, now three. Four towels per room, now three. There used to be Internet to ask tvs, now you can only watch directv basic crap with commercials. I always enjoyed turning on my Netflix with the TV. There are no trash cans at the exits, so now people leave their trash anywhere. Hallways are not vacuumed, I've seen the same trash laying there the last two visits. Most of the entry doors don't latch at all so the doors aren't locked. The breakfast is always the same and usually overcooked until the biscuits are stones. The staff gives you excuses and blatant lies when you ask for things to be fixed. If you get a room with a bath tub, your lucky if it has a stopper that works. The downstairs bar used to be ok, it's nothing but trash now. The beds are super comfortable and the pillows are great. That's about it. Definitely not worth what they are charging.

After accepting all the bs, i only cared about the wife as it was a work stay. I felt threatened by the staff for asking. I was never able to get Wi-Fi and asked two days in a row when asking, and recorded for my safety, the manager took the phone from the front desk and went in the office and slammed the door. after getting home from my work meetings the second day, i came home to the fridge being unplugged and all over my food ruined. i left a day early and was forcefully told i was not getting any money back and that they would find problems in my room to keep my deposit.

The breakfast was disgusting and served in the night club attached to the hotel. It was definitely not clean. The pool and hot tub were disgusting and I wouldn't even let my girls play in it because there was a layer of something on the top of the pool. The room was moderate, but smelled bad. If it would have been more than an overnight stay I would have asked for a refund.

It is a nice hotel but several things make it bad. I am glad I only stayed 1 night. The room itself is very nice. After a 10 hr drive from Florida I just wanted to ck in, get my keys, eat, and go to sleep. I had to do another 9 hrs to Kansas. The check in line was long and they wanted a $50 deposit from me even tho I was staying a night. I was at the end of my vacation and I didn’t have it. I booked 3rd party so I had no idea that I needed a deposit or else I would have had it. TV picture was blue, people were loud and talkative all night. The beds were really comfy tho. Hot tub was not working and after a long drive my old butt really wanted that so please fix it! Oh and please change breakfast hours! People sometimes are late risers. You should at least do what the restaurants are doing. I was upset I couldn’t get breakfast for the road and I had to order McDonald’s which took another 30 mins cuz they messed up my order severely!

The room smelled like smoke eventhough it was a non-smoking room. Half the lights in the room didn't work. The light in the bathroom flickered and eventually went off. Mold in the bathroom due to fan not working. The handle in the bath tub was falling off. The sink and tub plugs were missing. The phone in the room was disconnected. The TV remote didn't work. The hot tub was cold. The continental breakfast was not set up by 7am on the weekend with no staff in sight. I'm not sure if there even was a breakfast because we left right at 7am after not seeing anyone.

I am writing to bring immediate attention to several serious issues I encountered during my recent stay. Although I reserved a pet‑friendly room, the condition of the room upon arrival was unacceptable. With the dim lighting, I did not initially notice the dirty spots and fecal material on the bathroom walls. The television was not functioning properly, displaying a dark blue tint across channels, and the room phone was inoperable, preventing me from contacting staff. I also photographed a cockroach in the room. After driving 13 hours with two pets, I was too exhausted to walk across the building to report these issues in person. At checkout, I showed the photos to the front desk agent, but she offered no comment or acknowledgment. These concerns require immediate attention to ensure the health, safety, and comfort of future guests. I am requesting that management review this matter and respond accordingly. Very loud. You can hear other visitors in thier rooms through the bathroom vent. There were people running and scream all through the night. At 2 am someone was howling and banging on the balcony. Staff did nothing about it.

This place is NOT clean. It seems very old and not cared for. We didn't want to touch anything in the room. The doors rattled and several times someone tried to open our door. We only stayed because we were desperate. It was scary! NEVER, NEVER AGAIN!!!

Rooms clean but hot tub was closed when I went to use it and the pool was freezing cold so didn't get to swim or use the hot tub the reason I chose this hotel

The people behind the front desk are great! I checked in and noticed I had a door right next to the exit which made me a bit nervous. Thankfully, the gentleman behind the front desk had no problem switching my room to another available one. That being said though, there is a noticeable smell on the staircase when you step on it. My room however was clean, so I can’t ask for much.

room 106 was across a banquet hall with a st night 16 birthday n male teenagers smoking pot in the hall by my room, then clean up crew slammed closing tables after midnight. On Sun am.. a church service with loud music n preching heard inside room. my 3 night stay was horrible. I should have been warned. hot tub was nasty dirty.

I booked through Expedia and the pictures that they show online are not an accurate depiction of the hotel. The pool area is falling apart and the indoor pool was freezing and the hot tub got closed down by the health department. The rooms and interior were all outdated and half were under maintenance. The only redeeming quality was it had a good breakfast.

Staff was not interested in fixing problems. The TV wouldn't work properly, bath tub didn't drain correctly. Toilet seat was loose and moved everything you sat down. The towels and sheets had yellow stains in them that were extremely noticeable.

Room was average. Good for the price. Pool was less than, it said it was heated but it definitely was not!. Continental breakfast was below average also, could use some improvement. But like I said for the price it was average.

Pool was shut down mid stay

So bad! There is a a “club” attached to the hotel and there were people drunk and high all over the lobby and in the parking lot. It felt incredibly unsafe. When I got there I was told they didn’t have an accessible room reserved for me even though my confirmation clearly stated that I did. From what I could see the places was filthy. It ended up being a blessing in disguise because we went had to go down the road to another hotel that ended up being much cleaner and nicer.

Great Property ,clean , amazing staff

Very suspicious looking people outside their outside door rooms smoking weed and loitering. Loud event right off lobby. What he presented on screen for me to sign was already filled in with my initials and couldn’t edit and had misquoted pricing. Upon questioning it was brushed off. Didn’t agree with that. We proceeded to room and when I flipped the light on a cockroach crawled in my direction that I had to kill. That was last straw. I didn’t feel safe and the indication via the cockroach seemed to confirm a run down physical plant and at the least a poor pest control program! I called Expedia and informed we were not staying there and requested a full refund. This is NOT an operation Expedia should have on their website promoting. Extremely disturbing experience.

The staff was courteous and the room was good, but the heated indoor pool was freezing and some of the exercise equipment was either not working or broken. Also, we were right next to the convention hall which was hosting a convention and it was a bit loud when people started to leave and having loud conversations right outside our door.

Dirty old restroom in room

The room smelled terrible. Dogs barked all night. The indoor pool was to cold the swim in. The hot tub was nasty and not running. The hotel was very cold. When I checked in my room it was only 55 degrees. I’m handicap and ask for a bottom floor. The desk clerk was rude to everyone. I’ve stayed there many times in the past but it’s went downhill since last may. The restaurant was closed. Said it was only open on the weekends. That’s not what your website says. I would be very happy for a refund. I won’t star there again. What was once a nice place is a dump now.

The room was right next to the pool, which was filled from the time I checked in until 10:30. Kids yelling, babies crying. It was so close I could hear conversations. Zero privacy. Found several hairs in my bed, and the shower floor felt slimy. The iron had a moldy smell. Just overall rundown feel- furniture was ripped and stained, paint was peeling. I know you get what you pay for, but I was really expecting more. The only plus was that the bed was comfortable- but I didn’t sleep well due to questioning the cleanliness of the room.

Bathroom was disgusting. Inside Pool said heated but was like a cold plunge and hot tub was like lukewarm bath water and no towels by the pool. Had 2 rooms not next to each other even with hardly anyone there. Pillows were the size of toddler pillows barely enough space for your head. The waffle maker only cooked half the waffle. Tv wouldn’t work.

This is the absolute worst hotel ever! If you have not stayed here don’t! We had bugs(roaches) in our room, only one plug outlet worked, and it smelled terrible. The bath tub had something red stained on it not sure if it was blood or vomit but I am sure that when I asked to leave and get a refund well since I booked with an app and not the hotel that was a big issue. I asked to move rooms I was told I had to pay an upgrade fee and they did not believe the issues we were having in the room so I took the manager down to prove I was not lying about any of it.

The common spaces outside of the lobby had visibly dirty carpets. The hot tub looked unsanitary. The indoor pool was cold. The bathroom in the room looked like Someone had recently urinated in it. The tv screen had a blue tint to it. I was able to switch rooms.

The room was horrible refrigerator didn’t work, heat didn’t work walls had mold and wall paper peeling felt like a crack motel, will not ever stay again we in room 254 the they don’t know how to clean , dead bugs smeared in the ceiling the bathroom, doors and walls had brown substance on them

Place is very ran down, shower not clean had hair from prior stay and bar soap build up on soap holder, cold water did not work on bathroom sink, stovetop was not useable didn't fit in counter cut out, resteraunt/ bar not open, they had breakfast set up in restaurant and it was very ran down as well. To show how I like temperature i kept trying to reduce my room temperature to 62⁰ it kept resetting to 70⁰. PS this stay was in January outside high temp in the 40's.

I stayed here years ago. We booked again yesterday for a one night stay. We couldn’t remember why we didn’t come back for years (we travel through this area 4-12 times a year) and stay one night. Well…the hotel is not great when they give you a room not by the front. No carts unless you are in the front , long hallways, weird layout, twice now we are by the indoor pool…so loud, slamming doors, smell of chlorine (I have asthma) and the carpet in the halls was disgustingly dirty. The room 3/5.

Bad housekeeping. Showers not too clean. Housekeepers act forced to do their job. For some reason our keys stopped working had to get them re programmed. It’s worth it to pay more and stay somewhere newer and nicer.

The room they put us in was filthy. The mattress smelled like urine. There was a hole in the wall directly in front of the toilet, which was creepy. They said it was the room they use for pet owners and that was why it was so unclean. We requested a new room and they obliged. There is no way we will ever stay at a Clarion property again. Doors were not secure on the property; anyone could enter the facility without a key card. The entire property was run down and gross.

The floors were so dirty I had to put towels on the floor cause it felt like walking on popcorn, also had a cockroach in the cabinet that the refrigerator was in. The front desk member argued with me, escalated the conversation when I asked for a refund on at least one night. I was traveling with my dog and I paid a pet fee for two nights, only to be put in an inside room (there was a sign saying pets are not allowed in the inside rooms and to tell the front desk and they will relocate you) which yeah, had the loud pool area and the jacuzzi is also, BROKEN.

We were driving from Chicago to Florida with the kids and needed an affordable place to stop for the night. The price here was much better than other hotels along the route, so we decided to give it a try and it worked out really well. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and patient, even with our tired kids. Parking was easy, which made unloading everything simple. Breakfast was okay nothing fancy, but enough to get us going before heading back on the road. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay at a good value. We’d stay again on our next road trip.

Upon walking to our room, the door to our room was … already cracked open and had not been cleaned at all. There was sticky liquid on the counter/table (gross), pillows and sheets on the floor, garbage cans full, and a toilet that had not been flushed. Seriously, gross. Oh, and yeah, you guessed it, this gem of a hotel wouldn’t give us a refund. I would give this ZERO stars if I could. Seriously nasty. Go down the street to the Doubletree Hilton.

Broken toilet. Waited two hours for a new room. The overall design of the property is terrible. Indoor pool area echos terribly throughout the center part of the complex. Rooms smelled like weed. Staff were nice enough but took forever responding to issues.

During check in, the front desk staff said I didn't have any reservation, I showed him my booking confirmation and still he said nope, then finally after almost an hour he found it. Upon check in I requested a room on the inside in which I paid extra. I figured it would be quieter than a room outside due to traffic. Well I was awakened the next morning by loud music and talking on a mic. They had church service in the pavilion not even five feet from my room. I called the front desk to be moved to another room. They refused to move me and refused to give me a refund if I went to another hotel. Not to mention the floor was filthy and the baseboard of the beds were dirty.

The stay would have been tolerable except that unforeseen circumstances didn't allow for me to change reservation Prior to arrival. Notified staff only 1 night was intended to stay and they neglected to contact management or hotels. Com and I was still charged for 2 nights when I checked out at 11am Saturday morning not Sunday. No refund had been given nor have they contacted me. Poor customer service!!

The room smelled like a mix of dirt and cigarette smoke. Additionally, I reserved a king bed room and they did not have one available. The baseboards of the room had all become separated from the walls.

says they have heated indoor pool its cold as ice, hot tub not working, had to ask for hair dryer it was missing out of the room. Breakfast some items cold. no blackout curtains from outside lights. plus had to pay 50 deposit and they said it could take up to 3 days before it would go back in my account, don't know why it couldn't go back in when they cleaned the room. I left it clean hopefully they will do better next time i go

Every area beyond the front lobby was filthy. The sheets obviously were not changed. Multiple different hairs found in the shower, the toilet seat was dirty. My daughter refused to sleep there even though we didnt arrive until after 1am. I told the clerk, but he wouldn't refund my money even though I was only there the 5 minutes it took to take pictures. Im not sure I can trust Expedia's reviews anymore.

The sheets were dingy and had little holes, The space behind the bathroom doors had not been cleaned in months - we found all kinds of hairs and debris. Someone has to tell the cleaning staff that they have to go into the bathroom and actually close the door to clean behind it. You know, the space you're constantly looking at when sitting on the toilet. Upon check-in I was informed that my room would have outdoor access, which as a woman I always try to avoid for safety concerns. I told the gentleman that was checking me in, that I always check the photos of the hotel to make sure their rooms have no outdoor access. In none of the pictures published could an outdoor access room be seen. He said he could give me an indoor room for $50 more. I refused to pay more but kept bickering at him. He finally agreed to give me an indoor room - without charging extra. Seems to be a good scam that they are running. The icing on the cake was the breakfast though. If you want to call it that. It's been served in the attached bar/restaurant. When entering the room we were greeted by a sign with some 'rules'. 'Don't be greedy' - 'One plate per person' - 'Don't sit on the bar stools' etc. Not very welcoming. The breakfast itself was a joke. There were literally 5 ketchup packs in the bowl, no butter available (not even after I asked for it). So we had dry toast.

I had a rat in my room . Yes they moved me to another room and said I would get a 20% discount and still was charged full price. My kids couldn’t go swimming because the pool was dirty on the inside and outside pool was not clean either.

This hotel was dirty. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mold and the property was just not clean. One of the guests put their dog in the pool and the front desk was notified and the pool remained open. The gym equipment didn’t have plug ins to turn on. And at breakfast the staff there to watch over breakfast began slamming the door and cussing loudly about another staff member. Never greeting us or asking if we needed anything. The breakfast was also poor food. The only drink option was tap water or a gallon of milk in the fridge, the gravy was like water and the scrambled eggs were sitting in a pan of water. Just all around a poor place to stay.

The "hot" tub was 86 degrees, went to breakfast at 8 (started at 7) was informed it would be about an hour before it was ready because "we was late", the drug and alcohol abusers surrounding the building was over whelmed, the staff was nice to come fix our tv every time we tried to turn it on.

I need my money back. I could not stay a single night. I had a book for seven nights attached to the hotel was a nightclub, loud music and drunks everywhere. I try to go to my room, but it looked like something in the project. Every other door was open like a drug deal. I looked at the room and went back and gave them the key again. I deserve my money back that’s not what I reserved. Very disappointed.

Interior of rooms were very clean and updated. Exterior is dated, and hallway carpets were very dirty. If you want a room with an interior door, they will charge extra when you get there, so be aware. It’s not listed or mentioned anywhere at booking.

Hotel was dirty, dogs barking, outside rooms seemed to be either lived in or rented by the hour, Heard a fight break out in one room. Refrigerator didn't work, outlet by the vanity didn't work. I've stayed in some shady places, and this is the first one I didn't feel safe in.

Room was fairly clean, but half the lights and outlets did not work. The breakfast buffet was terrible, we when out to eat. Also our room was located near pool people screaming at top of the lungs at 2:30 am. People talking very loudly all hours of the night by our room. It was better on 2nd day. Needs a good cleaning. Will not stay again and probably not at Clarion Inn again

my TV didnt function, the fire detector had been removed, roaches in the room, loud screaming in the middle of the night that went on for a long time. I left a day early

Found a fingernail on my nightstand last night.

Requested downstairs room due to handicap and was booked upstairs. Found a room on ground floor and pot me in. Unpacked and TV didn’t work. Desk employees came to fix and said “Oh, you have a pet. You can’t stay in this room. Grant you I walked in to check in and had my pet. They charged me a pet fee. And now I have to pack up and was moved to a room that had missing carpet in spots. Thin bed covers. The desk chair was worn out in places and wobbled. The freezer box in fridge was ripped out. Room was all the way in back of hotel. Continental breakfast the next morning was awful. When I checked out the clerk refused to give me a copy of my receipt. Whole experience was a nightmare. I would not recommend this facility to my worst enemy.

We did not even stay,The place is utterly disgusting. The pool outside was a cement pond.The curtains all dirty , grocery cart people outside .Not to mention the man getting arrested in the parking lot.

I have stayed here before, because it is affordable. Unfortunately, I should have learned my lesson from the last stay. That stay, I had my brand new toiletries bag and the contents stolen from my room. This time, I was put into a 2 Queen room when I had paid for a 1 King room. Also, this room had a very small tv, not a 50-inch that was expected. The rooms are clean...no bugs. The bathroom had been updated, but not the rest of the room. I made my inquiry, the next morning, as to why I was not given the room that was reqested. I was told that they didn't have any king rooms available. When I went through Expedia, the website indicated that there had been 5 King rooms left. Also, the biggest ah ha moment was when two officers came to my door, shortly after I had arrived, "to clear my room". They had reports of an individual wielding a knife or a gun at the hotel. Around an hour later, there were police cars at every corner of the hotel. I was told they were still looking for the individual. I was told to lock my door and to close the drapes. The drapes wouldn't close all the way...absolutely no privacy. One officer asked, "Why would you stay here?" I was told that they are called to The Clarion very frequently. They recommended the Best Western as they weren't called to that hotel "very much". By the way, they found the guy two doors down from my room. Bottomline, I did not receive the room that I had booked for my four night stay. Very disappointing!

The bed was super comfortable. The best mattress I’ve slept on for a hotel. However, the room they gave me did not have a working toilet or tv. I was told someone would be by to fix it. It never got done. I had to return fo the front desk in the morning to inform them that nobody ever came. They assigned me a different room for my 2nd night. It’s just important to listen to the customer the first time. However, the second guy at the front desk was polite and ensured my concern was handled. Good price for 2 nights. Parking is good.

This place is not at all what it looks like in pics. We had two rooms, one had to be switched due to ants being all over including in the bed. Our room, I had to fix the faucet coming out of the wall and cleaned the tub so we could use it. They turn the restaurant at check in area into a night club at night btw. You definitely won't want to go to your car after dark. We never tried breakfast because they had a huge sign by check in telling you not to be stingy and only have one plate. Plus it was dirty so can't imagine the kitchen. Checked out early and were told we'd have to talk to a manger to see about a refund but the manager doesn’t bother to come in until 10am so we were gone. Outdoor pool was a sess pool. Indoor was cloudy. Definitely don't recommend.

This is a fantastic hotel. I have worked in hospitality for over 5 years, and had zero issues. Front desk staff was friendly, and check-in was less than 3 minutes. Keep up the good work!

The rooms were nice and the customer service was good but the amenities said it had a heated indoor pool and hot tub and the indoor pool was cold and the hot tub didn’t even work. The 3rd and 4th floor ceilings were falling in so they were closed down. The cops were there for one reason or the other two straight days. People that lived at the hotel tried to get in everyone’s business and start drama with guests that stayed there especially when it came to the outdoor pool. Room was fine but definitely won’t stay there again next year when we make the trip. So for us it only gets 2 Stars

The good: the indoor pool and hot tub are both fully accessible. The people were very nice. The bathroom was big enough to easily maneuver a wheelchair and the zero entry shower included a shower seat. Breakfast was scrambled eggs sausage biscuits and gravel and waffles. Coffee or hot tea were also available. It is within walking distance of several restaurants and less than a half mile from target. There is a mall across the street about a mile away.

One of the highlights was the pool area — beautifully kept, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. Whether you’re traveling as a couple or with family, the pool is definitely a bonus!

Needed a quick overnight stay and found this hotel near I24. Arrived and was greeted by the on duty clerk who was very professional and courteous there were several men in the lobby and walked around the property who appear to be on a soccer team and I thought I would be awake all night listening to the noise but once in the room I slept throughout the night. There wasn't any loud noise by the other guests, just as the clerk stated. POOL AND HOTTUB is great too with great hotel atrium view.

Grace was really sweet and the maintence man. The manager wasn’t too nice to me. My mom is on oxygen and I called before even coming to make sure I couldn’t get a handicap accessible room and they said yes. First room smelt like cigarettes and was told it’s the air vents. They put me in another room on 2nd floor with elevator way across the building. My mom has no wheelchair. I was told there was nothing they couldnt do anything ankut it and I would have to pay an upgraded room. Extra 20 dollars which is fine. Go back in the room to my not just 1 but 2 bed bugs on the curtains and bed!!!! They wanted to just move me again in which I decided to go elsewhere and no refund.

Stayed for five nights. Bathroom was covered in someone else's hair. Toilet didn't flush properly, shower wouldn't switch completely. TV wouldn't connect to anything, except non stop weather. Asked multiple times for it to be switched or fixed, told I would get a call from night manager never heard from anyone. Found pills on the floor, indicates no vacuuming done. I asked to be switched, I was told they were too full. When I questioned about the Internet connecting the TV, I was told on a Wednesday night when the hotel was barely full that "not everyone can have Internet". I stay here nearly every weekend but this visit was the worst one so far. Definitely not at all with what I paid for it.

We arrived to a woman smoking outside of our, asking us for money for her phone. Was with my two year old grandson. Upon entry I noticed the room smelled like smoke, and it’s a non smoking room. The tv had no remote and the manager set it up and face ne a taped up remote and apologized that we would not be able to control the. Plume. I told him the room smelled Ike smoke but no response. Then the remote would not turn off the tv. I would tur it off and it would turn back on. It took a half hour to figure out how to turn the tv off at the device itself. At 1a and 4a smoke drifted into the room from people smoking outside. At 5a I examined the door to find that the seal at the base was broken and there was a huge pie hung at the base of the door. The room was poor quality and dydnr look anything like the posted images at the website. I checked out as early as possible because the conditions were pretty bad. As evidence of the doorway and remote, I have pictures.

This hotel was terrible! It had roaches and mold was everywhere! They are so called “newly renovated” but I definitely don’t think so. It’s a lounge right beside it or inside the club. Police were outside of the hotel at 1am. It wasn’t pleasant and I wouldn’t stay again if I came back

Very run down. Coffee maker had part missing and we could not make coffee. We had to ask for a TV remote, as their was none there when we arrived. Could smell smoke all over, inside and out.

There is a bar connected to the hotel so if your room is close to the front it's really loud. Parking is atrocious when the bar is open. There is homeless people outside a lot. Wasn't informed when booking but they require a deposit.

The pictures need to be updated as the breakfast is no longer where it shows. Also the indoor pool is not heated which I thought it was supposed to be.

Alive and dead bugs in room. Old, dingy and dirty. Slept with the light on as it felt like more bugs would come out of lights were out.

The motel didn’t look like it does in the picture. It was ran down. Smelled in the hallways really bad and the door didn’t lock outside.

The pictures are better than reality. The indoor pool is cross. You don’t need a microscopio to see the bacteria in it. The Arcade games are not there. The connecting restaurant closes early night. The breakfast area is not appealing .

I left after I saw and heard the night club adjoining their lobby. When I told them I did not want to stay with all the bar traffic they didn’t understand. It was loud people coming and going. Cops sitting at the edge of their parking lot. They still charged me for the room. Run away from this place. It was a Friday night. Never gave them my card but hotels did.

Breakfast was just sad. Really, really sad. The hotel is old and everything in it is old. The indoor pool is really small and the hot tub was lukewarm. They ran out of room towels. The only positive is the employees were all friendly .

I have this place the benefit of the doubt due to the nice updated pics and recent good reviews. Nope. Got there, roaches crawling outside, first room had no electricity, issues moving us to another room. The next room had handprints all over the wall above the bed. Rooms looked nothing like what is pictured. Only parts of it have been updated. Nightclub attached to the hotel with very loud music. 2nd night our room keys wouldn’t work. Went to the front desk to be argued with and then told it didn’t work bc we owed money. We didn’t. The “money owed” showed 0$, meanwhile my 2 babies screaming and melting down in the hallway waiting to get into the room bc of this issue. Wasn’t safe feeling, wasn’t clean. Just not good. Wouldn’t recommend, wouldn’t stay again.

Cleanliness is so so

The workers here are very rude act like they don’t even want to help you with anything. One of the workers bumped into me (Hispanic older lady) didn’t apologize skipped me to get her breakfast, breakfast wasn’t good at all,waste of time even going. They have people watching you which make you very uncomfortable. The expierence over all was just terrible I would never go there again, people riding around with bikes and with 40 alcohol walking around just staring at you outside they door some even sitting outside there doors but watching. What is with all the watching ,people can’t even enjoy the pool. Like even when asking for help I’m getting attitude or being ignored or just simply giving rude looks it was very disappointing never again!!!!

Easy check-in front desk attendants were very nice. Comfortable beds and extra soft pillows. Surprised how good the breakfast was especially the sausage. The housekeeping service was good Super clean and convenient and quiet. the hotel was a place to stay and if ever in this area again. We will come back and stay again.

Very bad experience, at the counter they offered a $15 fee upgrade, but for one night We said no thank you, result... dirty sheets, roaches and bad odors, everything awful, go back to the lobby and then they changed us to an upgraded bedroom, but heard 3 different guests complaining about the same situation

this stay was really disappointing. The hotel itself is more like a motel. the inside room we were upgraded to had a window opening up to the hallway and the indoor pool, where a patron was smoking a cigarette. the bed had bugs in every layer of the sheets and bedding. We felt very unsafe in the area and parking lot as there were people who started walking around our car as soon as we walked away. I would not recommend.
