    Wasn’t bad until I realized they had bed bugs and I got severely eaten up so now I am miserable. I had to find trash bags and bag all my stuff up. Just an awful experience I could cry just thinking about it!!! It’s not many hotels in the area to choose from but trust me driving further out would be worth it 😢

    Improve staff . I went down stairs to eat breakfast . And the only think i saw out was beggels ,bread cereal, juice ,coffee . No sausage ,eggs ,waffles .The staff mending the area did not ask if i need assistance . She kept moving along . The next morning was better unfortunately i wanted to eat waffles i saw no waffles . The next morning while i am sitting eating . Here comes the staff and two guest . The staff brought the waffle mix for the 2 guest and made the waffles for the guest . Its a bad experience i had at the Quality Inn .

    This is the only motel/hotel conveniently located on the Marion/Mullins bypass to Myrtle Beach, SC. The exterior is kept neat and clean, the AM breakfast is adequate, the room is clean and the staff were excellent during my stay, July 24-27, room 108. The facility is listed at a 2.5 rating; it is about 40 yrs old now and could use some updating. It also has a faint smell of cigarettes in the carpeted room; even though there is a posting on the front door, smokers did linger close to the entrance. Hopefully, the owners will do a refresh during the fall and winter months to be ready for the spring/summer travelers.

    When I had called ahead to ask could I have a bottom room cause I got a boot on my right foot, front desk clerk that I spoke to said it will be ready when you get here. When I got there, the front desk clerk was so nice, she have a great attitude, and her personality was wonderful.

    This hotel was beyond nasty. In the bottom 3 I have stayed at and I travel a lot. The first room smelled terrible. I asked for a new room and was told this is the last one I would be able to get since I checked in to a room first. All I did was open door.

    We came to Mullins for business and had rented two rooms, we needed early check in and Jalisa was amazing! She made sure we had everything and went above & beyond for me and my staff during our stay. This was a super convenient location because the venue was only 13 mins away. Our rooms were well conditioned and rates were reasonable. Breakfast was great and the attendant was extremely hospitable. Would definitely recommend and also book again!

    I arrived at 1am for a one night stay. I asked at checkin if I could have a late check out. The lady said I could check out at 12. Housekeeping started knocking at 9. The front desk started calling at 11am but when I would pick up there would be no one there. I called the hotel from my cell phone because the phone in the room wouldn’t allow calls out and was told a note wasn’t left that I was checking out late. No apology. The hotel was in mediocre condition and the staff was incompetent and unprofessional. Pretty much what you’d expect from a Quality Inn in Marion South Carolina.

    The room my husband and I had was 220. There was a big hole in the bathroom door. The decor and room furnishings were outdated and worn. The walls had patches and the ceiling had paint from the walls being painted. The hallway carpet was absolutely filthy. The condition of the hotel needs some attention. Definitely was not worth the hotel cost of $100. On average the room was worth less than $50. My husband and I will not stay at this hotel again.

    The hotel staff were very friendly, the area is very convenient. Love that it’s a Walmart, Gas station and a lot of fast food options walking distance to the hotel. This hotel is old and needs major renovations, once that happens it would be a great place to stay.

    The female personnel were all very gracious, welcoming and helpful. We were asked to make a damage deposit of $50 which would be returned when we turned in our keys. Never have we encountered this before.

    We arrived Early the morning of the 7th. The staff including the maids were very nice. They even cleaned our room early so we could check in somewhat early. The night of the 18th ar 9:45 i asked Tiffany who was working the front desk for a fork and she refused to get me one. She said that if i wanted cutlery then i needed to get it in the morning when breakfast is served. I had to drive to the store and purchase a fork. I came back to Tiffany an hour later to ask for a trash bag so i could clean the room and and she was on the phone with friends. She didnt seem to want to get up and help me. She said that they dont have trash bags. I explaind that i needed 2 bags for the trash cans provided and she rudly without getting up handed me one small bag that she found next to her again without getting up and looking. Everyone was extremely nice except for Tiffany at the front dest. Also the A/C unit in room 119 was leaking so bad that it soaked the carpet and also made are clothing and bedding wet. The A/C has been leaking for some time because there is mold on the floor and baseboard. I will enclose a photo. The other photos are how we left the room when we left.

    Should list the pool is closed. The second floor the carpet in the haul way was so sticky it was gross. Couldn’t shower had no hot water. The breakfast was nice and the people were really sweet. But the hotel is crappy. Clean the windows. Scrub the carpets. And open the pool when u list u have a pool.

    My room 121, smelled horrible. Everything is old and in bad shape, toilet seat was horrible! The TV remote was being held together with tape and it was not working. Entire hotel has one ice machine and it is in the lobby. The only drink machine in the place was out of order and the juice dispenser was out of order during the breakfast service. I booked through a third party so I got a little bit of a discount but had I booked directly through the hotel the room price was $113 I paid $105/night plus taxes/fees. I feel like this is severely overpriced for the hotel but it is the ONLY hotel in Marion,SC. However I would not recommend the hotel and I would not stay at the hotel again, because it is not up to the standards of choice hotels or other hotels. I would rather stay 30-45 minutes away from Marion then to pay the ridiculous price for such poor quality. Upgrade the hotel if you want to charge what other hotels are charging then offer the same quality!

    We had a wonderful stay up until the night before. While rearranging my trunk to pack up the next morning, I unknowingly stood in an ant bed. Five days later, I still have welps on my foot. Someone should really treat the grassy area by the doors for the guests.

    The lobby receptionists during check in and out were both pleasantly helpful and friendly (Nicole and unfortunately, I didn’t get the other young lady’s name). When I first arrived the phone in the room wasn’t functional nor did the internet/cable service work. However, Nicole called someone who was already on his way home, but, he came back to rectify the problem. I was also a bit disappointed with the lack of towels and wash cloths available.

    When we walked in we were greeted by the most sweetest lady. Her name is Nicole and she was on duty to check us in. She was so personable and helpful. She accommodated us with so much patience and ease. My family and I came in for my daughter's graduation from Sanford, NC and if i lived closer, we would definitely come back! The property was so clean and smelled really good. The beds are comfortable, we had plenty of towels and the front desk staff were very polite.

    The staff was exceptional from check in to housekeeping. Nicole was so nice and remembered us each day and spoke and smiled. All other staff smiled and were very friendly. The hotel is an older property, but the beds were comfortable and the showers were good. As a female by herself I would consider not staying here alone, but with someone is fine.

    Our room was opened up by hotel staff during an outing, for the door to be painted. No one communicated that this would occur. We had nearly $2000 worth of property in that room and it was left open for hours. They expected us to sleep with the door open if the paint wasn't dry yet. Seriously.

    The Quality Inn in Marion, SC was where we needed to stay. The property is older and bordering on run-down, but the folks working there were all friendly and professional. Our king sized bed was really comfortable and the sheets felt clean and newer. The mini fridge was barely cold, but there were tons of TV channels to watch (including several HBO). The AC worked great! I guess this is sort of what we expected, so it was a good stay.
