Reviews
The hotel staff's professionalism is inconsistent, with some reviews praising their exceptional service and others describing them as unprofessional and rude. The location is generally seen as convenient, but the cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel itself is a major concern for many guests.

Just to mention, we did not receive good customer service upon arrival. We had trouble connecting to the internet, and the person at the front desk was rude and showed little interest in helping us resolve the issue.

Fun stay so far from home. Wish there was an oven.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean rooms and clean lobby. Pretty disappointing breakfast

Within minutes of pulling into the parking lot, they witnessed what appeared to be a drug transaction, multiple individuals who appeared to be under the influence, and a couple engaged in a loud argument in the parking lot. There was also an employee, possibly a manager, outside smoking, on the phone, and loudly arguing with someone. The entire property smelled heavily of cigarettes and marijuana. Based on what my wife and two children experienced before even entering the building, they did not feel comfortable staying and left immediately. My wife called me upset, and I had to find and book another hotel for them on short notice. After reading the reviews beforehand, I hoped some of the concerns were exaggerated. Unfortunately, our experience upon arrival suggested otherwise. If safety and a family friendly environment are important to you, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.
- 4/5
Nice room, clean and comfortable. Quiet area with plenty of choice around for cafes and fast food. Great location for our needs No tea and coffee making facilities in room.
- 4/5
Very convenient location and safe neighborhood. Spacious room. Very quite. No noise heard from neighbors or hall way. Almost no food for breakfast, accationally some bar biscuits. Big fridge and stove to cook.
- 1/5
Breakfast grab and go was warm water. Not joking. Wish I was being sarcastic. Front desk people make you feel like you interrupted them and are hassle to THEIR existence. Floors were supposedly renovated yet floor in room turned socks black and was sticky. Bedsheets had tears in them. Nothing stayed on the bed anyway sheets so cheap. But you better make sure you return them when you have to walk your dirty towels and sheets to get new ones or they won't give you new to change out. You get to walk your trash to a gross room called the "Trash Room." I will never stay at an Extended Stay. Ever. You couldn't pay me to stay there. Outside architecture and decor look like an insane asylum. And you would have to be crazy to stay there.

Depressing hotel who's main guests look to be from local half-way houses. I was just looking for an easy overnight near the airport. Such a horrible place. Rooms as spare as prison cells and not very clean.

I expected dishes in the kitchen without needing to "order them or pick from a package of two." also I think the breakfast situation needs more attention. Even a coffeepot with coffee in it would be more friendly

I felt like I was catfished by the photos and descriptions on the website. This property was not clean, the rooms were stinky like mildew and/or smoke in the bathrooms when it is advertised as a non smoking. The rooms were in poor condition and not clean, clear that a proper clean from previous guests was not completed. I will not be staying here again or recommending to anyone. Very upset. Not worth the money.
- 1.5/5
The location is very convenient for my frequent visits to friends and family. I travel with my dogs. But I am respectful of other guests and don't let my dogs bark constantly. There was another guest that was allowed to let their dog bark constantly. I let the management know and nothing was really done. I probably won't recommend or stay at this location in the future.

Staff just over did it. One either was nice and then the next was just talking about customers including myself.
- 3/5
Clean room and very friendly staff.
- 3/5
Don't count on anything for breakfast. A few small granola bars and lukewarm water for hot drinks. The room was clean. They allow pets but the pet fee is $25 a day per pet. No seating space for eating or drinking--it's grab and go, if you get there early enough to grab.
- 1/5
The staff lie. The room was horrible alot stuff did work. Dishes sucked . And fire alarm went off from 12am till 2am on of the night
- 5/5
I honestly loved checking in and working with the afternoon/evening staff, I’m horrible with names but they made such a great impression, treating me with kindness, respect, and overall positivity. I was thrilled that they extended that treatment to my dog and made him feel like a star.
- 1/5
They are rude and not accommodating.

It was a great experience. The room was clean and customer service was excellent.

The renovated hotel, everything went well. Clean rooms, friendly staff.
- 2/5
A very unpleasant odor was on present on the elevator. Had to take the stairs the entire time. Very unsanitary. The “grab n go” breakfast was almost nonexistent. The front desk employee said they ran out of plastic coffee cups and available otherwise. I will never stay there again .
- 5/5

Spotless room and a friendly staff

The front desk clerk was outstanding!! Great service at this hotel
- 1/5
Did not stay , they want a 500$ non refundable fee for a cat . That’s insanity
- 2/5
The staff was just ok, the rooms need to be up graded. Not like the other places. The price was nice per night.
- 5/5
Would stay at this hotel again
- 5/5
The room was clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff was great. I was unable to check into this hotel due to computer malfunctions.

The staff is so kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean. I like to stay-cation at Extended Stay here and there, and this location is my favorite to stay at! :)

Late night arrival, Helpful staff at the desk when I arrived. Easy check-in, and the room was clean with everything I needed for a basic night’s stay. The bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and loved the convenience of kitchen supplies for cookware and eatery. Wonderful accommodating staff … Their tech guy even accommodated my daughter’s PlayStation to set-up for play while there on our stay. Parking is great and the place is quiet. Laundry room is another wonderful amenity. Loved it here and would highly recommend to anyone😊❤️👍
- 2/5
The parking was full. Hardly no parking available.
- 1/5
Arrived to find they were doing their audit. Had to sleep on the floor in the lobby for an hour before they could give me my room key. Got in my room at 0130
- 4/5
Hotel was nice, not horrible…. dated, needs a refresh & update! Bed was comfortable, staff were friendly!
- 5/5
Ooooo
- 4/5
This hotel was just fine. Our room vould have been closer to the door or elevator staff was nice
- 2/5
This was such a disappointing hotel. The receptionist was one step away from surly, the room smelled like mildew and the furnishings were shabby.
- 3/5
I guess a previous guest flooded the property and there was temporary sheeting put in the floors to walk on. It was right down the hall from my room. Workmen were coming and going. The trash room was full of trash - no one had emptied it - smelled - looked disgusting. The utility room was messy. The staff appeared to not want to work.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
There's trash on the floor, and it's sticky. There's no hair dryer, and breakfast is only muffins and coffee. Also, there's no coffee machine in the room.
- 3/5
The so-called free breakfast was in the front lobby and it was a small table with coffee and nutri-grain bars on it.
- 4/5
There was a decent amount of parking, although they happened to be resurfacing the lots, so various parts would be closed off each of the days I stayed there. Close to great breakfast places, pizza place, close to the ferry.
- 3/5
Floors needed swept or vacuumed. We didn't eat in the room and the floor had food crumbs under the bed.
- 5/5

- 3/5
Not only to my wife but witnessed her berating another patron. She need some serious work ethic! The young lady who checked us in at night around 130 am was absolutely lovely. Very grand helpful. The woman on day shift should absolutely GO!!!!!!
- 3/5
It's an Extended Stay America hotel, expect it to be a nice, vanilla hotel experience. Beds are moderately comfortable, kitchens are workable (although take care when actually cooking, sensitive smoke detectors).
- 2/5
No frills, cutting corners. Room was adequate, but it's just a room. I've come to expect a hair dryer. There wasn't one and not even available at the front desk. While the room has a kitchenette, you had to go to front desk to request everything separately. Not even a coffee maker pre-stocked. Breakfast consists of oatmeal packets and granola bars. Photos in the lobby show oranges and hard boiled eggs, but that's not the reality. No pool or hot tub. Overall it was clean, but cutting corners everywhere possible in amenities.
- 5/5
Friendly staffs, clean space!
- 5/5
I like it
- 4/5
It's clean and quiet.
- 3/5
There were ants on the floor and the room smelt bad.
- 2/5
We arrived at the property and after a long night flight before our vacation we wanted to go to sleep, until the front desk informed us they are doing a night audit and could not check us in even though we had a reservation. We didn’t get into our room until 2:15 am.
- 3/5
One-night stay. Desk clerk was honest and helpful. The hotel had ample parking spaces. The facilities were typical of a low-budget hotel. The room was clean, but had a feint odor which I tried to remove by turning the Ac higher. The bed was fine, bare minimum bedsheets and thin blanket. The fridge and oven were clean and seemed to be in good working condition. I checked in the evening and found some questionable guests in the parking lot. No issues for me, but a single female this maybe a concern. I didn't use their free breakfast so I cannot comment on it. A last-minute booking for a weekend soccer tourney, the hotel was good enough.
- 3/5
The lobby snd elevator floors were filthy. The toom was eh, but I will not stay at an Extended Stay ever again.
- 4/5
Average
- 4/5
The room was quite clean although there were some hairs on the towels and in the shower. The breakfast is nearly non-existent it should be called random free granola bar. It was poorly stocked and poorly advertised as a breakfast. It's really just a coffee bar and some plain flavored oatmeal.
- 5/5
Super clean and shout out to Michelle M
- 5/5
Overall good for the price. If you are a pet owner, good place to stay.
- 3/5
At the beginning, I was surprised that the hotel was in the middle of renovation. The floor was not done yet, the smell was so bad from the chemicals. And the room is cheap looking and bathroom sink was clogged with hair and??? Yuck!
- 5/5
Michelle & Mike at the front were the best!! I really enjoyed this trip, where Michelle's sincerity and Mike's passion for excellence in his work shone brightly. It makes sense why my room was so a clean and well prepared, and the morning breakfast was great! Thank you guys, we'll be back
- 1/5
When we checked in Saturday afternoon, seemed like the young lady was having a bad day, but then a couple of days later we realized that she just has no personality no Customer Service no greetings no have a nice day so apparently she has a bad day every day. After check-in we got into the room there’s construction upstairs, which continued on from about 8:15 in the morning so we’re unable to sleep late and all day long every day. Refurbishing the upstairs room right above ours very noisy and the carpet in our room was so dirty we had to use House slippers which stained the bottom of our slippers. It’s really very dirty and gross. Sorry to say that I will never stay at Extended Stay America Suites Seattle Mukilteo again.
- 4/5
I loved how friendly and accommodating the staff was. It was little more noisy during the night than I had expected for weekdays.
- 5/5
I had a really good stay! Front desk was always attentive and it’s in a quiet area.
- 4/5
Appreciate desk staff being professional and helpful. Room is clean!
- 5/5
Amazing
- 1/5
Beds were too soft and small. Breakfast was sugary and little options
- 4/5
The night clerk was wonderful . Check out was a bit long no one was at the desk she was busy out front smoking and chatting then seemed annoyed she had to come in to help us.
- 3/5
We asked to be moved to another room as the room we originally had smelled like urine. After farther investigation, we found out that the former renter had two dogs and had lived there for some time. Other than that, everything was very nice.
- 5/5
Love the Mukilteo location
- 5/5
Staff members are awesome
- 2/5
The police were there everyday. There are a lot of homeless living there. I was staying there because we are also looking for a home after moving up here for work. These are chronically homeless people. The police showing up daily made me feel less safe for some reason. This place also charges for every little thing. I have never been charged for my ESA pets in any hotel except Extended Stay. I will never be staying there again.
- 3/5
Garbage in the kitchen area was too strong, need new materials is probably overused made the stay not pleasant.
- 5/5
It was pleasant. Comfortable clean room hospitable staff and overall great hotel stay.
- 3/5
The beds were comfortable but some of the staff were rather rude and you had to ask for anything that you needed for the room they were not stocked with basic amenities There was only coffee available in the morning and the grabbing go breakfast was a joke with tiny Minnie muffins and that was pretty much yet and coffee Laundry machines broke would not recommend,
- 1/5
Nothing
- 2/5
Check in staff was nice and informative. Room didn't smell clean. There was something splattered all over the outside of the fridge. Counters and table not clean. Bedding didn't look so clean. Lobby and hallways seemed more clean than room.
- 4/5
Safe and quiet. Clean facilities.
- 3/5
Should not call breakfast a muffin. This is not worthy of this as others in the area for a smidge $ more offer a real breakfast. I have had them. We had to take the family to local breakfast joint and did not keep with our planned schedule for the day missing our on sites we were planning on this sunny winter day.
- 1/5
Furthermore, due to a delayed flight, my reservation was marked as a "no-show," and I was required to pay again for my stay—even though the room I was given was cold, dark, and without basic amenities. I was also informed that no notifications had been sent to guests because the staff had hoped power would be restored quickly, despite the storm having occurred two days before my arrival.
- 3/5
Nice place to stay if you want to save money, but the lights in our place weren't working in some areas and the elevator did smell weird.
- 2/5
Faimly emergency would not refund the 3 days checked out early. Comlete crap

I had stayed at another extended stay america hotel. And this is the best one. clean, quiet and no construction being done on the building.
- 5/5
Spacious Room
- 5/5
The staff were helpful when needed
- 1/5
Had to ask for dishes and a coffee ☕️.
- 2/5
This hotel is very dated. In serious need of some renovations.
- 3/5
This property needs 1. More staff. 2. Making sure a staff member is at the front desk ( had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to check me in ) 3. A smoking free room should not smell of smoke, that was gross. 4. Cleanliness, I understand there is one person working but there was hair on the sheets, a weird mold smell in the entire room, thin walls so you can hear people talking, sneezing, walking around, and stains all over the headboard. Overall it was just a room, not at all worth the price.
- 1/5
We chose this place because if its proximity to an airport we were flying out of very early the next morning. We had prepaid so had no other recourse but to accept this problem and drive to the next place. (To add insult to injury, when we finally got into a room there was no coffee maker and no hairdryer. What hotel does not have at least a hairdryer these days?) We will NEVER stay at an Extended Stay in the future under any circumstances.
- 3/5
Booked through Hotels.com and pre-paid for a King Room. Hotel let us know at check in that since it was booked through a 3rd party that we would not be able to get a Kind Room. I thought 2 queens might be ok, but we got the single queen which was even smaller. Staff was nice, but nothing they could do.
- 2/5
Please make sure you read before you booking. Room service scheduled for every 14 days…….
- 1/5
No daily room cleaning service. Hotel has an unpleasant smell.

- 1/5
The property is pet friendly and you can absolutely tell because upon entry there is an overpowering smell of wet dog in the hallway. The rooms are dated and had a stale sour smell that lingered throughout our stay, no matter how much we sprayed Lysol. Our dining table was visibly dirty upon arrival to our room with greasy hand prints all over. I had to ask for disinfectant spray and a rag to clean the table myself which unfortunately made us question the cleanliness of the bed. The shower had hair in it and the toilet had an odd mechanism that requires a container to be filled completely before re-flushing… good luck with courtesy flushes! You have to wait at least 5-7 minutes before you’re able to flush again. The staff was friendly but unfortunately we will stick to our regular stays in Staybridge Suites and Homewood Suites. The lack of breakfast options, 24 hour coffee and no convenience pantry on-site makes this hotel less than desirable in comparison.
- 5/5
Nice place wonderful people
- 5/5
Would be great for a longer stay, but also served well for 1 day.
- 2/5
OUR BATHROOM WAS DISGUSTING. FECES BACK OF TOLIET SEAT AND BLACK HAIR ON THE SHOWER CURTAIN.
- 3/5
The bathroom weren’t clean and I just felt like it could of been better
- 2/5
Free breakfast but only coffee and some snacks they need to take that words out, they make the customer confusing . I choose them because they have free breakfast but so disappointed
- 1/5
The mattress was thin and hard. The bedsheets and blankets were also thin and did not keep me warm at night. You had to ask for coffee pots, dishes, cups, and silverware from the front desk as they were not automatically in the room. I had paid extra, $78, to be able to change my reservations if I wanted to leave early, but the hotel still charged me an extra $23 to leave early. Extended Stay America nickels and dimes its customers. I will not stay at any ESA hotel ever again.

Even though they were very busy, when I left my iPAD there and did not realize it until I was home (180 miles away), they found it and kept it safe for me until a relative in the area was able to pick it up. Their prices were fair; the room was clean and comfortable. They are in a great location.
- 5/5
Exceptional staff, always kind, courteous and quick with a helping bend to remedy any issues that may arise. And a special tip of the hat to Jacqui, excellent customer service skills.
- 5/5
Good price for a clean room.
- 1/5
I actually didn’t stay. One go around the room and I instantly went back to the front desk and requested a refund which the lady working the counter insured me I would receive but I did not. She was okay and very understanding but the room was not what I expected it to be. It felt dirty walking in and the bed was springy. It felt very old and not maintained. Its been over a week now and still no refund
- 1/5
The staff is unprofessional and rude
- 3/5
Check in was slower than expected, and for the first time ever the hotel requested to see my husband's ID as well as mine. The breakfast was minimal, only instant oatmeal, a granola bar, some muffins and coffee. Nothing else. When we entered the room, it smelled of sweaty bodies and the floor outside the bathroom had obviously not been mopped in a long time - it was very dirty. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is situated within a five-minute walk to several restaurants and a grocery store. The room did not have a hairdryer, and we had to ask to get a coffee maker and plates.

Good place to stay
- 1/5
Check in was horrid. Check in person was dishoveled, asked me for 4 pieces of Id, as well as my partner. Room was supposed to be a queen and was a twin bed on a fold up camping frame. Pictures of room on Expedia did not at all represent what we were given. I feel a full refund is due. If we did not have immediate plans first thing in the morning we would have looked for another hotel
