It was great for being a solo woman! It was clean, bed comfortable, owner -so nice, felt safe (#1 for me) & super affordable!

Cute accommodations in close to Palo Alto and Stanford. Quiet surroundings and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Would recommend!

The property exterior is cute and it is safe and close to coffee and restaurants. Room was quiet and bedding was clean. Air conditioner worked great. Ice machine was great. Fridge in the room looked new, but didn't work. No lamps near the bed for some reason, and the ceiling light near the bed was burned out. There was a large walk in closet with hanging bar brackets, but no bar? Ironing board cover was badly stained. There was a bathtub mat that looked dirty. Friendly staff.

TV did not work, shower especially dirty. If you need a place to sleep this works.

Even though I'm giving it low ratings across the board, remember that this is a low-cost inn, and for me, it was good value for the money. 200 ft walking distance to Starbucks and Jamba Juice for breakfast, CVS for snacks and drinks, Panda Express and a couple of pizza places for dinner. If you are just in town for a quick meeting and need a bed for the night, I recommend it.

The painting crew got overspray on my car. I was charged $9.99 after I checked out without a receipt or approval. Not pleased with their lack of communication or customer service concerning the paint crew spraying the exterior.

Great location, clean rooms, be aware it is smoking permitted facility CA law allows for outdoor smoking within a distance. Good prices, excellent if you're planning on just sleeping, toilet and taking a shower and out all day exploring Bay area.

Breakfast was coffee and a basket of apples. There was a very large long black hair in the bed when I pulled the covers over. Smelled like urin outside. There was renovations going on so there was old cupboards and cabinets on the ground in the parking lot outside very hazardous.

There was no microwave, and the room was in need of a through cleaning, there were webs hanging from the ceiling and the room, especially the bathroom had very unpleasant odors.

They say they are a non-smoking hotel, but our room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The manager said all other rooms were taken and he couldn't move us. So despite reserving a "non-smoking" room weeks in advance, we were stuck with the smokey room.

Those items aside, this hotel stands out due to cost & customer support & service from those who work here. Housekeeping is TOP notch! I can't say enough about the quality of work they do. While the property could use a facelift, housekeeping more than enough makes up for it. We would stay here agin if in the area.

The room was not updated/remodeled. It had many cosmetic issues. I found the bathroom the coziest....sounds crazy but this was the highlight of the room. there was like an Easy Bake Oven microwave which was under lock and key. lol

Ice machine was broken. Bathroom had crumbling walls and peeling enamel in the tub. Mattress was rock hard.

The fan in the bathroom sounded like we were landing a cesna in there. It's not pricy but there are numerous other motels around that are much much more together and run the same cost. The person at the front desk was so incompetent and didn't know how to use the card reader so my credit card was denied as well as my father's credit card. We had to pay with cash. We literally walked on block to the Local CVS Pharmacy and our cards worked just fine.

The air conditioning did not work at the time I checked in. Very hot in room had to go get a fan. Air conditioner replaced next day. Toilet stool was loose and repaired but was loose again by the time I left. The room was clean and nice just needed maintenance

The handicapped shower pan in room 106 was poorly placed and the water went all over the floor and into the rug in the room. Also the shower door should be a sliding door because you cannot get into the shower safely due to the door which opens against the door to the room.

The paint/wallpaper was peeling off the walls. This room was for 2 workers to stay in near our jobsite. This room was so bad they drove all the way home to Merced, rather than staying nearby.

My power went out , I had a virtual meeting at seven in the morning, so I booked this hotel. Once I got settled in , I looked to connect the internet , wasn’t on my paperwork so I called the office and the gave my the passcode to connect, I went to connect it said weak signal, therefore I couldn’t connect, I tired connection through my phone couldn’t connect

It was a decent hotel . Could us sime new paint and the carpet to be cleaned really bad. But did the job. Gave me somewhere to rest my head until my procedure at the hospital the next morning. Its rrally close to a lot of different restaurants which is nice .

Very basic, no character. First room the sheets were dirty. We did get changed to another room which reeked of smoke. Third room was ok to sleep, bathroom needed a new coat of paint and a facelift. Emergency stay in the area and was the only accommodation we could find at last minute. Would not stay here again.

This hotel was okay and the price was very reasonable. The front lobby was under construction and iit was closed so you could only use the night window to check in or talk to anyone. It is a no-frills hotel. My room was clean, it was fairly quiet at night. The staff was helpful. A lot of places to eat around the area.

The lobby was closed for renovations so you had to ring a bell at the overnight window to get assistance. I rang it a few times and nobody came to the window. There was someone else there who managed to find the front desk person to check me in. The light over the sink didn’t work. The front desk person said there was nobody on site to fix it but if he did manage to contact someone, they’re would be over later that night. I declined since I didn’t want to open the door to someone I didn’t know late at night. Checkout was similar to my check in experience. There were men in the parking lot talking with loud voices for hours. I’m not sure what they were doing there hanging out near the cars but it made me feel uneasy. I’m surprised by the high reviews on Expedia. This property really should be closed for some deep cleaning and repairs. The property was very reasonably priced. The rooms are clean and I liked that there was a refrigerator and microwave and a coffee pot maker. The gardens needed a little TLC. But I’m a little critical because I’m a gardener.

That meant no breakfast, something that should be noted (but isn't) on the website. Plenty of stains in the carpet and a nice, big chunk of rotting wood in the framing of the shower. The shower was recently renovated, but the door was fitted so badly, that the water hit right on an inch-wide gap. Predictably, there was a half-inch of water on the bathroom floor after my shower. I used up every towel but one sopping that up. Good thing I had that last one to dry off with. I can say that the wi-fi worked and the door locks kind of worked - took 4-5 tries each time. The chef's kiss, I saw upon leaving, was the reserved veteran's parking spot - right next to the dumpster. Thank you for your service indeed.

The room was clean and not bad, but to advertise a "breakfast included" and to hand you a paper bag with your choice of one small prepackaged sweet roll, a small drink, and a not too great small apple, hardly constitutes a breakfast. Most continental breakfasts are better than this, and this did not advertise as a continental breakfast, so we were certainly expecting more . The excuse of COVID needs to end sometime as much has been lost that will never return. There is no pool or hot tub either. The security of the lot seemed to be good as it is well enclosed from the outside except for the drive in narrow entrance.

The heater only worked on full blast so I had to manually turn it on and off all night. The coffee pot did not work and there was no breakfast provided like the add stated. Parking was bare minimal and hard to find.

There isn't a continental breakfast, it's a pre-packaged bag that consists of a packaged muffin, Apple and juice. So, if you have food allergies, you're out of luck. You deal with the employees through a little window, the office/lobby is locked at all times. The room was not very clean. If you are a woman staying alone, don't.

The property grounds are very nice. The rooms are dated, the toilet ran all night, and the toilet is not ADA-compliant. The bedding was sparce and had to request an extra blanket.

Advertised free breakfast every day but there was none.

No interaction with office. Breakfast did not exists even though signs advertised it.

Good location, nice but don’t have elevator ( which it’s necessary!) I would like to get the lower price for the long vacation about 18 days like me.

Unable to enter the lobby. Lobby was always locked. All transactions conducted outside via the afterhours window. Make one not feel as welcomed. No continental breakfast. The interior carpet to the room was very stained. Exiting to leave was dangerous.

Surprisingly the room was nice for a 2 stars hotel. I could see the room has been remodeled. Bed was really comfy, not too soft or too firm. Room was large. Insolation seemed good since I could never hear the neighbors! You can hear El Camino Real even with windows closed but the road is not too busy at night so it was not a problem. There is a little shopping center close to the hotel where you can have different food options. Breakfast was grab and go and really basic (orange juice and pastries) but I was not expecting more from a 2 stars hotel. Overall good experience and I would definitely recommend it.

The shower didn’t work and I had an early morning for work so that was a big minus because I just need a bed to sleep in and be able to take a shower in the morning. The plus was the room had a fridge and microwave.

Property was nice and quiet

No breakfast as lobby was closed. Check in very unfriendly and inefficient. Lobby closed. Not a friendly place.

The room was cleaning the garbage was taken everyday. Bath towels were changed everyday.

Everything was fine. Check-in was smooth. Room was clean and smelled good. It was even equipped with an iron and ironing board, which I happened to need! Staff responded to our requests.
