This was really the nicest room I have stayed in as far as everything you could ever want was supplied! Reclining chair, huge TV, heated floor in the bathroom, microwave and fridge… beautiful breakfast included…. Even a yoga mat. They thought of everything!

Staff was phenomenal and so many amenities! Would recommend to anyone!

Arrived earlier than expected and called to inquire about checking in early. I was met with a warm “sure, you can check in right now if you want” - no extra fee or issues. Staff were friendly, helpful, and showed sincere interest in making sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Room was clean and well-kept. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I always love staying at this hotel. The rooms are comfortable and have every amenity necessary. The location in Central Mountain View cannot be beat. The very best part is that this is a family run establishment and you will feel a sense of caring and warmth from the staff throughout your stay. It is a special place.

Went to see Dave Matthews Band at Shoreline. Only a 10 minute drive from hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Family run hotel. Parking only for hotel guests (very important to me). Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms well appointed, and every need is anticipated and fulfilled before we could’ve thought to ask. Very clean, very generous breakfast and 24hr beverage and snacks, these people go the extra mile and then some. We would recommend the Strata to anyone who needs a place to stay on the area.

Well refurbished establishment. Friendly staff. Cozy place. As the building itself is old, the noise from upstairs (footsteps) could be heard.

Very disappointed. Sketchy surroundings with run down apartments, closed restaurant and busy road. It did not feel safe. The room smelled old and musty. The fake “fireplace” made a constant electric sound. We just couldn’t stay there. We left even though we paid a non refundable charge and paid to stay somewhere else.

This was a great find! I would highly recommend this property. For us it was just 1 night on the road for a long trip and a very nice rest opportunity. If I were spending time in the area I would absolutely stay here. Excellent property for work travel!

The Strata hotel was wonderful! The entire staff were excellent, helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was exceptional. The location was central but quiet. I intend to stay at this hotel again. The rooms were spacious, clean, with very comfortable beds.

Stayed four nights while visiting family. A very nice, comfortable, human-sized property. Pretty much every room amenity imaginable. Many good choices at breakfast. Our only problem was that one morning I inadvertently hit the button that turned on the “do not disturb” light, so our room was not serviced. My fault, but be forewarned. Would stay there again

My wife and I stayed a night at Hotel Strata after a concert at The Shoreline Amphitheater. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the room was very nice with lots of amenities, and the breakfast was good. I recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the South Bay Area.

This hotel is far beyond expectations! It is not perfect but this is one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Super spacious with professional staff. Breakfast was very good, everything you might want for a healthy, hearty breakfast or a light healthy breakfast. The room was immaculate. The bed very comfortable. I usually bring my own pillow, no need to while staying here. I loved the bathroom with the heated floor. Im always cold so that was quite nice. The room was very quiet, no road noise whatsoever. The free water in the reusable bottle and the filtered water stations located right outside the room was super a nice touch. No need to worry about forgetting to bring water. If your looking for clean comfort, all the room amenities you could need at an affordable price, look no further, this is the perfect hotel.

Overall just a great experience at Hotel Strata, and its only a 10 minute drive to Shoreline Amphitheatre. If you aren't from Mountain View and are traveling for a concert, this is a great place to stay, In and Out and Jack in the Box are right down the street for a late night snack after the show and Starbucks is really close for your morning coffee.

Our family had a perfect staycation. Modern style room amazes all our kids. Not to mention a perfect bathroom with TV, rain shower, and a bidet. We will surely come back.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The owners/staff were so kind to us throughout our stay and very detail oriented as well as always asking if there was more they could do. We loved their breakfasts and the variety of foods they offered. It is a wonderful hotel!

Our stay is always great at Strata. So much thought has been put into these rooms. Just looks like a standard hotel when you pull up, but as soon as you step into the lobby and your room, you feel how much they've considered all of your needs. Very helpful. Always super kind. I stay here every single time I see a concert at Shoreline because I live a few hours away. Always look forward to my visit. Highly recommend.

This hotel is a hidden gem and my new favorite place to stay when in town for concerts at Shoreline. Short drive to the venue. This hotel has thought of everything. I’ve stayed twice now and impressed both times. Clean yoga equipment in your room, lights when you open your closet, suit press, Nescafé espresso maker, huge TV’s, great cable, clips to hold the blackout curtains closed, nice reclining lounge chairs, comfortable beds, automatic lights under nightstands for ease getting up at night, low dim lights in bathroom for night time, great showers with rainfall, handheld and standard shower heads, full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, hand wash for you to use, a tv IN THE BATHROOM MIRROR, heated toilet seats with bidet, air purifier in rooms, great AC, double rooms have a nice little kitchen area, fireplace, et center that rolls over the bed to make a desk or table to work at from bed… seriously. I must be missing something. Oh! Every room has a doorbell and good locks. And umbrellas to borrow, bikes to borrow, a water bottle refill station near the ice machine, continental breakfast and coffee, great spot to eat with tv to watch the news. Easy to park near the room you’re staying in. Nice outdoor lounge areas. It’s deceiving because from the outside it looks standard. Neighborhood is whatever. But you very quickly feel the thought that went into every aspect of this place. Great pricing as well. Will definitely stay again and recommend.

Great boutique hotel. Room was very nice with lots of modern amenities. Breakfast was above average. Mr. Patel, the hotel manager, was friendly and on top of everything at the hotel. Great choice for Silicon Valley,

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised with how great our stay was at Hotel Strata. Not only was the room filled with wonderful high tech extras, but there was a yoga mat and foam roller to help my aching back! The front desk called 10 minutes after we checked in and asked if the room met our expectations. The shower was amazing, heated toilet seat with electronic fitting, shower robe, HUGE television and super comfortable bed. I work at a world class resort and this place was even better than some things we offer! Well worth the price on ALL levels. Many options for breakfast and filtered water system outside our room was very nice!

We went for a concert at the Shoreline Amphitheater. The hotel was sold out. We checked in. The process was easy and the person at the desk was nice. When we got to the room, it could not accommodate 4 of us. The front desk quickly rectified this by sending up a rollaway bed. The room was very clean and modern. The breakfast was not fancy but it was hot and delicious. 10/10 will stay again!!

Bed and pillows were better than home. Never slept so well away from home. Very quiet. Excellent service. Breakfast was yummy. Oh and the shower..!! 3 shower sprays. Regular, hand held and overhead rain shower. Bidet. Heated toilet seat. Soft towels. I could go on. Excellent place to stay.

The front desk staff was very friendly. However, the property is nothing more than a motel with lots of bells and whistles that attempt to distract you from the construction surrounding the property. The room was very expensive for what it was. I read the reviews and found them to be misleading avd I wished we had stayed somewhere else that didn’t try to fill the room with gadgets.

15-20 min walk into downtown Mountain View. Ample free parking. Big TV but HDMI interface wasn’t working. Microwave and fridge but not crockery or cutlery. My only issues were the lack of bar and restaurant (should have paid more attention when booking), loud air conditioning (even on lowest setting), and poor breakfast.

This was the best service I have ever had at a hotel. The staff was very caring and courteous. The room was clean and very updated. I would definitely stay again.

The staff and hotel were fine but the back view was of someone’s unkept yard , the front View was of an abandoned building and weedy dirty empty lot, The hotel was conveniently located and East access to areas we wanted to see

We arrived late as our fly was delayed and we were waiting for a rental car. The front desk manager was ready to great us and provided water and slippers at check in which started things off great. We slept very well and had the on site breakfast in the morning. Really good for it being free! We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning, and it looked like fun the night before as well. Very much considered staying a 2nd night (instead of with family) and wish we had!! Will absolutely stay here again in the future.

Really enjoyed our one-night stay. The hotel isn’t downtown, which I had hoped it was, but had great touches in the room. Loved the yoga mat, foam roller and yoga blocks. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. Staff was great.
