The hotel receives mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, proximity to downtown Mountain View, and basic amenities like a microwave and fridge in the room. However, there are consistent complaints about rude staff, small rooms, and overpricing for the quality of accommodation.

I had a very unpleasant experience staying here. The entire property smelled strongly of curry everywhere you went — the hallways, office, and even inside the room. On top of that, the air conditioner looked like it was from the 1970s and barely worked, which made the room uncomfortable. Cleanliness was also a major issue. There was hair throughout the room — on the floors, in the towels, and in several areas that clearly had not been properly cleaned. The room also had a noticeable moldy smell. The customer service experience was equally frustrating. I called the front desk to ask if I could pay for one additional hour before checkout, but the fee they quoted did not match the hotel's own policy. It felt like I was being misled. They also refused to handle it over the phone and insisted I physically come to the desk, which made no sense given the situation. There was no attempt to be accommodating or helpful. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, unpleasant smells, outdated equipment, and poor customer service made this a very disappointing stay. I would not recommend this place

Very small, i paid 275 for 2 nights and i feel like that shouldn’t have been more than 75-85$ a night. Lamp in bathroom has no cover, you can see the wires, not safe & i stayed there with my baby. Limited parking. Indian looking man in the front made my checking in horrible and complicated. Never staying here again.

Really Bad Place! My computer and phone were hacked within 1 hour of me leaving there. DO NOT STAY HERE! I wanted to leave leave the first day, owner said I had to stay 2 nights... ( I payed for 7 nights). Then as I packed my truck and waited for my refund receipt the police showed up. He lied and said I would not leave his property. The police could see I was upstanding citizen and there was no problem. Thank You Mountain View PD!..The wife is just as psycho. Stay Away! Room had a microwave, fridge, ac unit all original from the 70's. The counters clean but the floor was FILTHY! Really bad. I used there towels to mop the floor. Towels were super ruff and dirt stained. Shower curtain stained and dirty... No secondary door lock either and when I woke from the first night my door was unlocked! Do yourself a favor and read the other reviews too... I wish I did!

When I arrived the owner was very rude to me, saying that he only had a room with two beds and would I please ensure that I only used one of them! then the next night, when I had to go and get my room key re-set, his wife tried to make out that I had only paid for one night when I had paid for three. Very expensive for low quality accommodation.

Tiny, tiny room. Great for in & out, but the WiFi didn't work. I had to piggy back onto the motel next door, it was dirty behind the bathroom door and the refrigerator did not work. Not worth the $180 we paid. The only virtues were that it was close to my job, it was quiet, the water pressure in the shower was great and no stairs..it was all one level.

It is the most inexpensive motel in the area and you can usually get a room on late notice. Most of the rooms are tiny but pretty clean. The aroma in the lobby is a turn off and if the rooms had that smell I wouldn't stay but that seems to be confined to their little lobby. It looks funky from the street, a little like going back to the 1950's, which may be when this was built. The rooms closer to the back are better. If you book spring the extra few bucks and get a room with 2 beds as they are a good bit bigger. Their regular rooms are about 10x10 plus a small bathroom and vanity area. They do provide a small refrigerator microwave iron. they have Wifi and decent cable TV.

If this place simply invested 1000 bucks to improve each room, ratings would go up and they could charge more. The room smelled musty.... shampoo the carpets and get rid of the blanket and comforter which look like they are from the 70s. Ditto the microwave. The coffee maker in room 115 was dirty inside and nicely incrusted with visible dust on the outside. Young guy at checkin was nice.

The next day we were so tired and really didnt want to get up, i looked on H.com to see that the price was only $114 (still too much to pay). Because the hotel has it set up so that you must pay in person, i had to get up anyway and go to the lobby. When i went in I paid the wife and after was told by the husband that since i had 2 people in the room I would have to pay DOUBLE! WHAT? I calmly said, "That is not true" he said "Yes it is" so as i walked out I replied, "Go check online and read your description and small print". If you must stay there... watch ur backs and wallets.

I booked spur of the moment to stay over for a I day workshop. Wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a place to sleep and only 2 miles from my workshop site. It filled those simple requirements, and if it were anywhere else in the country, it would be a $50 or $60 room, But since it was in Silicon Valley, it cost me more. But it was close, and fulfilled my simple needs, had free WiFi, good TV, but shower took a while to heat up, but TV, fridge, and bed OK, so as I say, it met my needs, and the cheapest motels were only $10 or $15 cheaper, and up to 26 miles from my morning meeting, so as the 3rd cheapest, it met my needs; and neighborhood seemed safe, as I walked 0.8 miles for 1 AM fast food, and felt safe. So OK in a pinch, but not if you want a pool or luxury.

Lovely motel. Boutique type. No pets allowed. I choose pet friendly in my search, but did not consider this filter when recommended facilities. Had to get a $100.00 cash deposit to stay. Good thing since all was booked in area for a convention. Travelocity needs to recognize the filters a client takes the time to include. Second time
