Well maintained property, clean, quiet

Clean spotless room. Stayed in the 2 bedroom suite. Right beside the pool. Pool did not stay crowded so always had chairs open. Staff was amazingly nice. Located very close to the waterfront park and lots of restaurants.
- 5/5
Great location and very comfortable stay!
- 4/5
Breakfast and afternoon snack food is always good and fresh. Room was clean but pull out sofa sheet was not clean. Sofa was very well used and lumpy. Bathroom and kitchen and bed linens were all fresh and clean. I stay here all the time for medical visits and it’s becoming home away from home.
- 4/5
Spacious room, well equipped, good breakfast and evening drinks/snacks
- 5/5
Great value for your money. Centrally located to get downtown or Mount Pleasant. Good clean room, comfortable bed, full kitchen, friendly staff and free parking. We stay here often when coming to Charleston. Highly recommend if you don't need all the frills!

The staff and the location. Kitchen area was difficult to use except for the microwave. No frying pan or kitchen table.

Complimentary on-site washer and dryer. The all the staff were amazing to my husband and I and all of our young children. The 2 room suite was above what I expected, clean, comfortable, and so awesome for our family of 5. Everyone was happy!
- 4/5
Great space for families or long stays.
- 5/5
Whole stay was great. Staff was nice and helpfull. Breakfast was good as well.
- 5/5
We apparently had an ADA room and the shower was a little awkward, aimed at showers curtain, and water got everywhere but it really wasn’t a big deal. We’d stay again
- 5/5
Lovely suite with everything we needed. Very friendly helpful staff. Small convenience store next to reception. Great facilities including free gym and laundry (washing and drying). Excellent breakfast. Regular room cleaning. Free parking. Close to supermarkets and other retail outlets. The air conditioning in the room made a strange smell on start up.
- 5/5
Perfect location, very spacious room. We loved our stay! Nothing really

1hour late check in due to room not being ready. Our room smelled like dog the entire week we were there. The staff at front desk were not at all welcoming when we checked in. The cleaning staff and kitchen staff were accommodating and helpful and friendly, they should be in charge of running the hotel. The best part of our trip was when we didn’t have to be at the hotel. Couldn’t wait to leave. Not a kid friendly hotel. A lot of grown men sitting around the front area fire-pit daily from 3pm-3am with their coolers drinking. There were individuals smoking around the pool. There was a hotel fire the first night we got there. 3am fire alarms going off, smoke throughout the hotel, due to a drunk adult cooking pizza on stovetop and falling a sleep. Tried speaking with a manager when we were allowed back in the hotel after the fire, manager wasn’t available until 3pm that day. Manager never reached out to check in to see if my young children were ok or if there was anything they could do to make us feel better about the fire experience. Did not feel safe at this hotel and neither did my children who are 2 and 7. If you have young children I would look at other hotels in the area as this one is not the place to stay.

King room suite very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen equipped.. cooked on stovetop, microwave and coffee pot. Nice living room and deck we got a lot of use out of. Bed is very comfortable.. had breakfast and happy hour couple of days.. very nice. Pool is outdoors and everything was cleaned and cared for. Very close to restaurants.. minutes from downtown. Downtown is horrible.. parking very expensive.. 18 hr to 84 for couple hrs.. in some lots. They nickel and dime everything. Loved our stay at this place. Would go back to THIS hotel for sure! Nothing

The experience was all around Good. Hot water, Good water pressure. Decent breakfast. Can't ask for much more when you're on the road. Worth the price.
- 4/5
Construction at surrounding properties but was quiet inside the hotel. Limited parking at times. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast buffet has a good variety of options. Easy access getting to downtown area.
- 5/5
We stayed here due to the close proximity to the city of Charleston which is only about 5 miles away. We stayed in a two bedroom suite so we each had our own bedroom and bathroom and the place was fantastic. Breakfast it’s about what you would expect from a buffet for a hotel. The rooms are very clean. Staff was very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very good hotel facility… modern and clean. Very good breakfast and nice afternoon social also included with light food and beverage. Convenient location for drives to Mountain Pleasant and Sullivans Island sites.
- 5/5
The room was very spacious, clean, and the balcony was large!!! There wasn’t anything to dislike
- 5/5
Friendly staffs, good breakfast, and clean room
- 5/5
This was an excellent experience. The staff, upon check-in, was friendly and helpful. The amenities were good, especially for the cost of the stay. The cleanliness and decor were pleasant. Top-notch stay for the price! I would highly recommend.
- 3/5
The property is very conveniently located and in great area but sadly the room was in very poor condition. Staff was generally lovely and the amenities and hotel property were well cared for, however.
- 4/5
Slightly better than average hotel breakfast, great location and wonderful facility. Only issue was housekeeping, I received conflicting information about room cleaning and on a 4-night stay expected at least one visit. One person said I should expect housekeeping on a Monday (after a Saturday check-in) and another was surprised I did not receive a visit that day. Finally, I got a call during the middle of a tour asking what services i needed as if I made an unusual request to get fresh towels and a general cleanup. Unusual to say the least
- 5/5
Nice clean hotel. Like the social hour at night. Beer, wine and appetizers.
- 5/5
Breakfast bar was great both days!
- 4/5
The breakfast was probably the best thing about our stay. It was well maintained and staffed a good selection of items to choose from,,And I’m not a breakfast person, We had coffee available in our room, but no creamer. The shower pressure was marginal and the tub wasn’t very clean. The lack of two chairs on the balcony was a bit odd. when we first arrived, we wanted some drinks and there wasn’t any ice available, I went to the front desk and the lady upfront was nice enough to go get us some. It took all night before we had ice in the container in the freezer, but I had gone to the store and bought a bag of ice by then. We found the beds /pillows to be very nice, The microwave popcorn in the room was a nice touch.
- 4/5
Everything is great. The staff is super friendly. The only problem was that the internet was very weak and only worked at times in certain parts of the room.

- 5/5
The hotel was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. Very close to downtown Charleston an easy Uber about 11 minutes. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall it was an excellent stay.
- 5/5
IHG proerties have replaced Marriott and Hilton for us. Just nicer places all the way around for less cost.
- 3/5
Breakfast was no where near what Pigeon Forge Staybridge offered. First morning there was no orange juice. Parking was a joke. Not enough spaces available. There were other issues with check out. Don't depend on consistency between locations. I learned that the hard way. Placed the comforter over the sofa. They allow pets in all rooms. No telling what is on the furniture or carpet. My sock were filthy from walking around in room. Overall staff was friendly and helpful. Would not stay here again.
- 5/5
The stay was great but pool not ready and complimentary breakfast not great they didn’t replenishment items to quick or not at all
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great for a hotel and staff was friendly. Location was extremely convenient
- 5/5
Room was not clean. Breakfast was good. Staff was nice
- 5/5
Great hotel. Very clean.
- 5/5
The staff was super helpful and very nice. The breakfast in the morning was definitely a nice touch. We Didn't use the pool but it looked like it needed some help, of course that might be due to winter and spring not being pool season.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Good breakfast. Bring a sound machine… location next to a major road. Traffic noise can make sleeping difficult but sound machine helped!
- 5/5
We loved the breakfast, and it’s pet-friendly which is a big plus. The location is also very convenient—right by the bridge and only about 10 minutes to downtown Charleston.
- 5/5
We love this hotel! It is our second time staying here and we will gladly stay again when we are in the area.
- 5/5
Very clean property located right next to the intersection. Staff was very friendly and made check in easy.
- 5/5
Traveled with my cats rooms are large with plenty of room close to downtown Charleston and Local beaches.
- 3/5
Clock in room didn’t work. Toilet splashed outside of toilet. Light switches not working properly
- 5/5
Staff were all helpful, friendly and efficient, rooms and everywhere spotlessly clean, new towels every day. Facilities? No evening restaurant, ( but thats why they were suites with kitchenettes), swimming pool was merely a plunge pool and right next to the car park! Thanks Staybridge for a great time in Charleston!
- 5/5
Very nice hotel, was disappointed that the pool was closed all week when it was 80’s out
- 5/5
Great place
- 4/5
Breakfast was good, fresh everyday. Our room was good but a little bit noisy because it’s on the roadside of the building. Also our bedsheet has a little bit of stain and one of the cooktop knob is broken. Location is excellent because it’s near to some major tourist attraction.
- 5/5
Great, convenient place.
- 4/5
Great stay. Great location. Appreciated the free laundry service, free self parking and breakfast. Thank you.
- 4/5
Pool was closed. Breakfast was good. Hotel was a but dated but very clean and convenient.

This place has everything we need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. We are close to dining, recreation and the MUSC campus. We stay often and it’s always clean and comfy. Food is always good as well. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Pool was weird
- 4/5
Older hotel, but clean with friendly capable staff. Short stay but very smooth experience.
- 4/5
Good value for the money. The breakfast was good and the beds comfortable
- 5/5
Easy drive to downtown Charleston. Plenty of parking. Great breakfast
- 5/5
Comfortable place, good breakfast.
- 5/5
Pillows were great. Nice oversize towels. Shower/shampoo products were very nice. Great location for visiting Charlestown. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, waffles, and other cooked items. Good pantry items to choose and charge to your room. They do need a sign on the main road. Building is tucked behind a currently closed hotel and no sign.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly, easy check in/out, very clean, pet friendly, plentiful parking, close to restarants, walkable spaces.

Perfect
- 5/5
The staff was very nice. We had a great room with refrigerator and plates and wine glasses. Good hot breakfast in the mornings. We had our dog with us and had no problems and they had a little dog run. Great place to stay out of the hustle and bustle of Charleston. Peaceful.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
The room was perfect. Lots of room and the hotel staff was professional and very friendly. We asked for the shower head to be changed and it was done so in a timely manner. Would book again!!
- 1/5
Flight was canceled with no other alternatives and had to cancel trip. Expedia reached out and asked for a free cancellation multiple times and hotel was unwilling to refund. Will not be booking again in future and wouldn’t recommend at all.
- 5/5
My wife and I had a great stay here. The rooms were large and clean, the staff was friendly and courteous. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
My stay was great. Eugene at the front desk made some great food recommendations.
- 5/5
The SPACE!!!!!! We had a 2 bedroom suite. It was like having an apartment. Everything the clean and fresh.

- 5/5
Super breakfast buffet, comfortable bed and clean rooms! Lots of space. Great hotel for the money.
- 5/5
Smooth and quick
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff.
- 3/5
Hotel was safe and convenient, but rooms are worn, dated, and not as clean as I would have expected. Furniture is worn and ragged. TVs are old-school and don’t have streaming options. Kitchen was greasy on some surfaces. Appliances, walls, bathroom, doors were worn and scuffed. Lightbulbs were burnt out in kitchen and bedroom. Bed had huge sunken area from overuse. I don’t criticize often - but this hotel was just ok. Not a great option if you really want a nice room/suite. Very safe and convenient to Charleston and amazing restaurants. Parking was good. Would probably not stay here again…it just felt shabby and not spotless.
- 4/5
The housekeeping and service staff was so kind. I stayed for 3 nights with my 5 children because of an ice storm. 2 are medically fragile. Breakfast was great, the den downstairs was an huge perk. Everything was very clean. Only one thing made me remove a star. Every day i asked for a pack n play and was given a different story. My 2 year old didn’t sleep well and that made the trip much harder than it had to be. They told me they were all taken the first night. A family down the hall with a baby left on the first day and i mentioned it and they said they’d have housekeeping look but never called me back. Then they said they might have one in a closet. I called several times a day every day and kindly requested. They never followed up. Ever. And always had an excuse. The room was excellent and comfortable.
- 1/5
Due to the winter storm we had to call and cancel, the hotel stated no refunds or a credit for later - Expedia wouldn’t offer a credit as had to go thru the hotel. I have been an Expedia client for a long time and purchased many trips locally and internationally but now will look at other companies as very disappointed in the lack empathy
- 5/5
Great value for a nice hotel in a convenient location. Check in staff was courteous and professional. Pet friendly, late free breakfast and late check out. Love this hotel!
- 5/5
Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a few days. Having the kitchenette was convenient for leftover food. Breakfast each morning was excellent with lots of choices. Staff very friendly. Pet friendly hotel with dog walking area. Location excellent for a quick drive downtown. I highly recommend.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean room, nice breakfast, good location.
- 4/5
It was a good stay. We've stayed here for years. Looking a bit worn. They need to do some upgrades very soon
- 4/5
The door to the balcony was broken so we were unable to use it. Other than that, the stay was fine.
- 5/5
This was our first time, staying at this property. The first room had a heavy smell of cigarette smoke. That wasn’t the property’s fault, but they made it right. The second room was great.
- 5/5
Wonderful! Clean room, very polite staff, wonderful stay!
- 5/5
The room was huge! Full size fridge and microwave, plus just about any utensil needed to make a complete meal. The staff was so courteous and helpful and my fur baby was thrilled with the dog biscuits on the counter.
- 4/5
Room & property nice, front desk staff was very good, location was convenient, although closed, boarded & fenced hotel on adjacent property is unsightly and dark. Here are a number of minor issues that added up to some disappointment and: card in room says expect Light Touch daily service M-F (trash, amenities like coffee, towels). They only did it 1st day and we had 4 weeknights. People were putting trash & towels in hallway, where it stayed. Breakfast until 10 am - got there 930 first 2 days and no pastries and poorly stocked buffet both days, coffee not hot & stale pastries day 4. Snack area - bought 2 Haggen-Dasz single servings that were freezer burned and tasteless. Access road to hotel dark. Probably would not stay here again, given other options nearby. Had also stayed in another IHG property earlier in week and that was so-so. Souring on brand.
- 5/5
Everything about staying here was perfect. It was quiet and clean. The staff were always working and on top of things, they were very welcoming as well. My partner and I enjoyed the free breakfast, traveling can be expensive so the fact that we could rely on that was nice. It always felt warm and inviting. Despite how many people were staying/around us at the time, we always felt like we were in our own place. The location made this place even better! We got best of both worlds being so close to the bridge. We would recommend staying here and we would definitely stay again.

- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was very clean, well organized, and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made our stay so much easier especially traveling with kids. The space was perfect for families, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended!

Very sweet staff, great and clean amenities!

We have stayed here several times and will com back again. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is very good and filling.

This is a wonderful place to stay it was very clean, the staff was very friendly, the view of the bridge was really a nice touch.
- 5/5
All staff are very courteous, it was a pleasure to stay.
- 5/5
Front lobby staff was always helpful and friendly. Upon our Saturday afternoon arrival, we needed a nice place for dinner at night. She gave us an excellent recommendation that satisfied our palate.

Stayed three days. Hotel was close to everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Would stay at again.
- 5/5
The rooms were spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Booked the room to spend Thanksgiving with family and shared the 2 bedroom suite with our daughter’s family. Just a lovely way to be together. Staff was lovely, property was nice, close to things to do.
- 5/5
Nice staff, clean room, close to lots of stores, restaurants, etc. Bedroom could use more light but bed was comfy. Hubby enjoyed the free breakfast every morning
- 5/5
The staff at check in, the breakfast, the room. Would be thrilled to stay again
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
Rooms and condition were nice. Staff was okay but not very accommodating and watched TV/videos on phone.
- 5/5
GREAT place to stay in Mt. Pleasant! Easy access to everything Charleston. Hotel is spotless and staff goes above and beyond to ensure a friendly atmosphere. The breakfast is promptly served daily and satisfies with an array of options. Tom, the General Manager, is present and interested in your experience at the hotel. Very pleased and would most definately come back!
- 4/5
Convenient location. Staff pleasant. Breakfast fresh with good variety.

Was pleased to see plenty of fresh fruit
- 5/5
Everything was great!!! We will return!
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
The daily breakfast helped as well. It was delicious and the staff was great and very accommodating.
- 1/5
I made up a virtual card up and paid for my room online, but when I got there I had to run the physical card I’m stuck with paying for a room twice. Management is supposed to be working on it but it’s been a week with no response
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay! The staff was lovely. The room was immaculate! Very quiet area close to all of the sites we needed to see. Great time
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. This is my second stay with Staybridge, one in Charleston and the other in Savannah
- 5/5
The only thing that I didn't like was that the view from the 3rd-floor window was partially taken up by a bright billboard.
- 5/5
Young man at the front desk was so kind and helpful after a long surgery day at MUSC. Last minute booking and he went out of his way to make sure my friend and I had everything we needed.
- 4/5
One day our room was not cleaned and we expected it would be as we were gone all afternoon ! The other mild irritation was the pooled was not unlocked by mid afternoon, even though the hours were 8a-7pm! I requested it be opened and it took 25 minutes while waiting outside before she came and opened it!
- 5/5
We arrived earlier than expected and were able to check in early. The room was wonderful. Breakfast was delightful and we enjoyed it. The staff was so friendly. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, conveniently located to everything. 5 miles from Charleston.

- 4/5
Very comfortable hotel, good breakfast and nice staff.
- 4/5
Overall staff were welcoming, clean, pet friendly
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was great. Nice courtesy was the managers cocktail hour during the week. Just need to have more food choices. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend staying here. Perfect location to downtown Charleston without the Charleston prices
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
We stayed for our engagement! So convenient to downtown Charleston nine minute drive. Free Breakfast was Delicious had All the Ingredients to a Delicious Meal! Only 1 problem we ran into was no Charging station for our Vehicle but can’t blame them I truly blame Budget ! Truly a wonderful way to start our lives together ☮️💟☯️
- 4/5
Property is extremely convenient for staying in the Charleston area for vacation. Our only real concern was security both outside and inside the hotel. Lighting was a little too subtle outside when walking our dog at night. The appearance of a homeless guy carrying his gear in the breakfast area our 1st morning kept us edgy and watching a few possible non-guest folks attacking the food for the rest of the stay. A few other things were mosty just facility upgrades and updating. For example vanity lighting was poor and the bath hardware was loose and worn. Room kitchen was excellent and the staff were outstanding. Overall very pleased with our stay.
- 4/5
Clean rooms
- 5/5
So close to downtown charleston and the beaches.Great parking and wonderful staff in great rooms
- 5/5
Clean and pleasant, super staff, lovely breakfast, couldn’t have been better!
- 5/5
Nice location and hotel. The 2 suite room was perfect for our stay with kiddos. Comfy beds and grateful for room darkening curtains. Kitchen amenities good; a dedicated bin for recyclables could be added. One of the 3 tv remotes didn’t work, even after trying new batteries. Decent options for free breakfast. Ample parking.
- 5/5
This property had extremely friendly staff and a lot of ways to make their guests feel special and taken care of.
- 4/5
Parking is limited. No awning to pull under to protect from rain during loading/unloading. Facilities were well kept and clean. Staff very friendly
- 4/5
Our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Our only negative was having a refrigerator which was just barely cool. Keeping food and drinks cold wasn’t an option.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, wonderful location..
- 5/5
I can remember the front desk lady’s name. But she was very petite and always wore a mask. She was exceptional!!!! Made us feel welcome every time we walked in and out. Answered all my daughter’s questions about Outerbanks fun areas, and always had a smile on her face! The only thing we didn’t like was the pull out bed 😳 I think my body felt every single spring on that thing.
- 4/5
Great stay, very clean facility, exceptional breakfast.
- 5/5
Great stay in a very convenient location! Spacious room that was sparkling clean. Great staff!
- 5/5
Everything is wonderful!
- 5/5
Close to college of Charleston and King St. Christian at the front desk was super helpful and my daughter thought he was cute
- 5/5
A lovely hotel with super staff
- 5/5
Well maintained property. Excellent location - 15 min to First Quarter and 20 min to beaches. Traveled with my family and dog. Room was spacious, clean, and loved the amenities. We’ve tried other hotels in the area and this by far is the best
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the employees were helpful.
- 5/5
Close enough to the beach and Charleston to do both in one day
- 5/5
Nice staff, great location and comfortable beds
- 4/5
One night they had waffle fries with condiments for happy hour not a fan. Most people did not eat it and left. Need to improve that.
- 1/5
Check out is at noon we checked before we left, so we went to the kids park across the street in the morning, came back at 1030 to our keys deactivated and cleaned out of room. Wouldn't let us back to clean up. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at noon or unless they choose to go in your room before apparently.
- 3/5
The buffet was good. The exercise room was OK. It didn’t have a pool and an outdoor grill but it was right next to the freeway. My back still hurts from the furniture and for $330 a night you think you would get something better.. The location was good though it was close to getting to Charleston and the local restaurants. The furniture was literally bolted to the wall on a decline so you kind of fell into it, and the floorboard was raised by the door which almost tripped over.
- 5/5
Our stay was very nice! We had everything we needed and the hotel was within a 30 minute drive from many different activities. But also on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle of the busy city of Charleston. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Excelente lugar buena atención limpia las habitacines comodas buena ubicación 👍 👌
- 4/5
There were many things that could be said about this property. It was very convenient, clean and had a good variety for breakfast options. Staff was pleasant and friendly and they accommodated my family well especially during a holiday week.
- 5/5
Very big room and recently renovated. Would stay here again
- 4/5
Our suite was a good size and comfortable. The bed was large and comfy too. Staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good plenty choice. Pool was small but adequate.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at the Staybridge Suites. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Common areas were also very clean and well maintained. Each staff member we encountered were friendly, kind and very helpful. We highly recommend this location!

breakfasts. We were there for 1 evening reception and it was very nice.Rooms were large and very clean. Very convenient to Charleston without the hustle/bustle and hassle of downtown parking. One of the first hotels when you cross the big bridge after leaving Charleston going to Mount Pleasant.
- 5/5
The Staybridge Suite in mount Pleasant was fantastic. The room was huge and well appointed. Bed was very comfortable and we wanted for nothing. Our only issue is that housekeeping did not make up our room after the first night's stay. We mentioned it to the front desk manager and we were on our way !! Would totally stay there again.

Nice property. Great rooms. Nice breakfast
- 5/5
The front desk was wonderful we were there for our 45th anniversary and they made it very special by giving us an anniversary card that they all signed. They're breakfast is the best you have bacon or sausage along with eggs fruit, waffles, cereal and this is everyday along with coffee coke, milk or orange juice. You can't go wrong by staying at staybridge at Mount Pleasant.GREAT PLACE!!!

Great location. Only issue I had was the party outside at 3am on our last night!
- 5/5
We loved everything about our stay here!! Very clean, even had a kitchenette in the room. The staff was always friendly and welcoming! They offer a great breakfast in the morning with great coffee!!The location was perfect because we did several things in Mt Pleasant and went downtown (approx 10min drive) several times too. Plus we had a beach day at Isle of Palms which was only 25min away. Definitely recommend this hotel!! 5 stars!!!

This is a very nice hotel in a great location, just over the bridge from downtown Charleston
- 5/5
Perfect location, drive to downtown within 10 minutes, 10 minutes to Sullivan Island Beach. Any kind of restaurant/cafe you could want within a few minutes drive. 4 grocery stores nearby. Room and grounds were spotless. Free laundry facilities and a social mixer MTW with FREE beer, wine and hot snacks. It was really a perfect stay. (If you're sensitive to road noise, request the parking lot side.. Early morning truck noise was a bit loud.)

Rooms are spacious, immaculately clean, well stocked. Staff couldn't have been nicer

Great, affordable option for exploring Shem Creek and Downtown Charleston!

our stay was great. everything.

Crappy food. No maid service for $600 a night. Ridiculous
- 3/5
Great location however some staff were not helpful. Pool was to be opened per website however it was not until I inquired multiple times, it then opened later on in week. Then staff neglected to inform their “happy hour.” Breakfast was good, clean place.

Excellent

Lovely location. Great staff.

Family of 5 spent a week at hotel. The furnishings were decent, loved the included breakfast everyday. There was waffles, toast, cereal, some version of eggs and a meat each day, fruit, yogurt, coffee, amazing tea, pop, juice. Free laundry for guests although some guests would not immediately remove the clothing. One night I was worried about possible noise as there was a party on the top floor in the event space but we had no problems and didn’t hear a thing. Employees were so friendly especially the breakfast and cleaning staff. Happy hour included free wine and beer M,Tues, Wed with a small snack. Mac and cheese one night with chicken and toppings. My only complaint was the rough towels. No softness left in them. This hotel was so close to Charleston with a much better price point. We would stay again.

Very clean, modern and nicely decorated. All the staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was superb.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast hours, 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. allowed more flexibility than most accommodations offer. The food was good. A hospitality time with free wine from 5:30 to 7:00 was also nice. The in-room temperature control was very effective.
- 4/5
Only drawback was staff using plastic disposable silverware and paper plates. One day staff set out washable plate and silverware - that was very much appreciated! Wish we would have had that option every morning.
- 4/5
Conveniently located in Mount Pleasant. Suite was spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was average…but convenient and included.

This dress just may be my favorite new edition to my wardrobe! I love the flow and the fabric! It was comfortable to wear at dinner. I felt special on my birthday. It’s giving Bridgerton vibes! Plus my boyfriend said I look amazing!

Really great place to stay.Large clean rooms with full kitchen and free parking. What more can you ask for.
- 5/5
The two room suite was just what we needed. There are no recycling containers in the room
- 5/5
My wife and I stayed here for our 10 year anniversary getaway. Hotel was easy to get too and very clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to stay here again
- 5/5
Other than that, we liked the room. Bed was fairly comfortable. Liked having a laundry since we were on the road about a week prior. Work out room was attached so you could watch your laundry.
- 4/5
I liked that the hotel receptionist was accommodating due to us being in a room blocked by a triangle shaped awning. We switched rooms and were much happier

Great place

So we get to the hotel around 1 am to a locked sliding glass door. We rang the bell, knocked, called the front desk on our phones, etc and no one opened the door for 15 minutes. We were about to leave when the front desk folks show up. They were walking the property for a security check according to them. The desk was uncovered. We were ready to get to our room. Their response to this was that there was a sign on the check in desk. This sign being totally too far away to read it. That was their reply. Not an apology. A scolding for us not being patient and reading the small sign they left. Ridiculous

I would highly recommend this property for a great stay in such a nice location!
- 5/5
House keeping never came to change our towels. Other than that stay was good
- 3/5
The bathroom was dirty and they had left a bar of soap from the last guest. Gross. There were cookie crumbs on the coach and when we moved the cushion to shake them off there chips under the cushions. Nothing felt particularly clean. The service, breakfast, accommodations were okay, nothing special really.

Great place to stay for visiting Charleston. Clean & quiet.
- 4/5
Close to charlotte. Highway noisy. Dog friendly property. Many food options. Friendly people in the area. Mostly travelers.
- 5/5
First time at Staybridge. We’ll be back for sure. Staying just a couple miles outside of Charleston saved us hundreds, and the Uber over was only $12. The two bedrooms was perfect for us and our friends. 5/5

The property was quite nice, spacious room, nice bath with walk in shower, kitchen and sitting area. However, during our 3 night stay, we did not see housekeeping, no trash pickup, no fresh towels. Also, on our last morning the kitchen counter was over run by ants. We reported this to the front desk, after cleaning them up as best we could. Initially there were offers of compensation but none actually materialized, as we checked out. We were told housekeeping was not offered on weekends. These are my reasons for criticism in cleanliness. The room appeared clean upon arrival. There was also a nice laundry room with free washers and dryers, which I used and appreciated.
- 4/5
There was no room fresh up, while we stayed there and no fresh linen replaced the days we stayed and trash was not removed. For me the stay was very well but the room service part didn’t exist because it was the weekend. They said we get no service while we stayed because we came on the weekend. People pay high prices for suites and get no service. This is something to consider next time we visit Mt. Pleasent.
- 4/5
Located close to Charleston, Patriot's Point, Sullivans Island & Isle of Palms. Plenty of restaurants close by. Easy access to main roads. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free breakfast was very good and available for 3+ hours. Dog friendly.
- 5/5
We have ZERO complaints about this property. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was delicious and had a variety and the location was super easy to get to from downtown Charleston. We did not utilize the fact that there was basically a kitchen in the room, but I could see that coming in VERY handy. Five stars!
- 4/5
Great location and value! Close to airport and downtown Charleston. Lots of options for dinner/drinks very close by in Mt Pleasant. Would highly recommend!
- 5/5
Both the room and property were well maintained. They staff was very friendly and helpful during check-in.
- 5/5
Very nice and friendly staff throughout our stay. Nice suite.
- 5/5
The complex was clean and very well thought out. Rooms so well equipped and comfy. Front desk people could’ve been better, we lost our car keys, asked st desk 3-4 times if they were turned in, they did a bit of looking around office. At check out I asked one last time and he pulled out front drawer and pulled them out! They were there all along. We went up great trouble in the meantime , and expense, to get our other set from home. Bad deal- just a little extra thinking and checking or a better system for list things would e worked. I left them at check in and he could’ve just called the room to ask or check the last few guests to locate us. Take initiative. Instead we lost a half day of our time in Charleston, paid $$$ and I was very upset since our original desk guy was asked a day earlier, but didn’t open the drawer and pull them out until we checked out two days later! Bad experience in a great hotel

Great customer service.

Great staff and location. Very clean and tasty breakfast.
- 2/5
The rooms were ok. The service was terrible. During our three day stay, there was no room service. We asked after the first day and they said they forgot. The second day we again reminded and they said they will clean but again same response. They did not clean on Friday or Saturday. They said to just collect the towels from front desk and said they forgot to clean. I usually stay at Marriott hotels and never seen this kind of service. Will never go back.

We have stayed here twice this month and both times were perfect for us! Convenient, easy to get to places, friendly staff, clean, comfortable and spacious for us.
