    We have stayed here in the past. The new management have done wonderful improvements! Much better! Rooms have definitely been upgraded, hallways always smelled fresh and clean, breakfast was pretty good with multiple dishes, pool and property was nice and clean. I would say the parking needs to be improved and expanded some how. If you have pets be careful in the dog park area by the woods. We came across some copper heads. Other than that the location is great and tucked away enough to not seem busy and close to the beach as always. Will always choose here to stay!

    Pet friendly and quite rooms. Property was very clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay again. Pool area was great as well. Great location to the beach, shopping, and restaurants.

    The location. The ice maker in the fridge was so loud we couldn’t use it and had to purchase ice at a nearby store. The tv in the bedroom wasn’t connected to the internet and the one in the living area kept freezing up the whole time. The pool was filthy at 2:30 pm on a Tuesday. The bottom was black in places and there was what appeared to black mold all around the sides, steps and tiles. I wanted it to enjoy a leisurely pool afternoon and swim, didn’t happen. When we were departing this morning we saw a giant bug on the pool sign on an inside hallway. I think it was a cockroach. Breakfast was pretty good the first morning but by the end of our stay it was lackluster and all the heated items except the eggs much had the same color-gray and cold.

    The location is the best part about this place. The room size was good. But it smelled like mildew all over the hotel but especially in our room. We were very thankful to only have had one night there, because the smell made the room feel very gross.

    Overall grade for the price point a C. Toilet was too low and continuous ran unless unless you played with the handle. Water was turned off from 10pm to 4am for a maintained issue. No Water. Walls had coffee or shmuchs on it in the bedroom. Front desk staff were hard to find. This was a convenient locations for Boone Hall and the Isle of Palm.

    We enjoy this hotel. It is in a convenient location for us. The breakfast is good and the pool area is nice. It is also walking distant to several very good restaurants. The problem this stay though was a series of maintenance issues including the batteries for the lock for the room died requiring us to make three inconvenient trips to the fro to desk before maintenance was sent to replace the batteries.

    The hand held shower wand didn't work. We needed to use the pull.out bed and there were no linens for it. I called the front desk and actually had to go down to the desk to get the linens. I think that was not very customer friendly.

    The hotel is excellent. Beautiful, comfortable, and very well run. The staff was wonderful, friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it three times. The only thing that was disappointing was the pet fee. We were charged the full pet fee each time we extended our stay, even though we stayed in the same room with the same dog. That felt unnecessary and quite expensive.

    The hotel location was perfect for me having to attend training at Isle of Palms. I literally could run to my room on breaks I was so close. If I return to Mt. Pleasant and not get an Airbnb I will definitely return there for another stay.

    Hotel has deferred maintenance which needs to be addressed. Staff did not seem to care about issues with fire alarm and leaking toilet. Never came to fix either.

    Our room had mouse poop on the floor. House keeping wasn’t great, she didn’t speak English. Showed up in the afternoon when we were getting ready to go to a wedding. We Asked her to come back the next day mid morning and she came back the next evening when we were getting ready for dinner. When we got back, she had left our dirty towels on the floor in the hallway in front of our door and trash spilled out on the ground. It was late and the guy at the desk said he was the only one there so it would be there until housekeeping was back. There is an ice maker in the fridge that did not work and no ice maker in the hotel. This was a little annoying. Trim on the wall was peeling off. We did like the location of the hotel. It was a comfortable stay other than housekeeping coming at odd times. I have listed my complaints but over all, it was a decent stay and I would return if we go back.

    There was a dirty washcloth left in the shower. Floors were dirty. Trash was never gathered during our stay and we did not leave a sign on our door. We originally booked a double queen but was informed one was not available when we arrived so was put in a king suite and told we would be moved the next day which never happened even after requesting and reminding the next day. After waiting a while we were hungry and tired and decided to just stay in the room given. To late in the day and with a dog and not eating we needed to relax and not have to worry about changing rooms. We were on vacation, we wanted to enjoy our time, make the most of our time. Breakfast was great. Staff was courteous. I just wish they would have been more helpful. I feel like I was charged for the double queen. I was told I would be compensated for the crappy room and lack of service but so far I haven’t been. Overall it would be a lovely place to stay that is close to the beach for a family with animals. I wanted a getaway with my aging dog that had never been to the beach. I was disappointed. I hope others have a better experience.

    I reserved a room for four nights five days for my sons baseball tournament. My AC stopped working, I reported it to the front desk and she said I have nothing to change you to I’m full. I asked for the manager and they said Monday. I emailed Monday and by Thursday the response I got was “ you booked thru Expedia, there’s nothing we can do” I was shocked because even though I understand the 3rd party policy, My AC stopped working at their facility in room 102. Not in Expedia’s hotel it’s a Hilton hotel brand. I am highly disappointed on the management’s response and actions. Nothing was done about it. Zero Stars terrible customer service.

    We loved the Mt Pleasant area. The hotel was good and served our needs for staying. The A/C wasn’t working in the lobby area and breakfast was okay, the “fresh fruit” appeared to be frozen.

    The staff was excellent! We loved the breakfasts and the social night! Had some very loud continual noises in room 102. Also had several outlets without power. I also felt bad for the staff who had to deal with no air air-conditioning in the lobby area.

It’s a pet friendly hotel but you would never know it, as there was never any oder. Great hot and cold breakfast options and the staff was very friendly. Would recommend this property 100%

    This is my 4th time staying at this hotel. It seems like the property is just going downhill each year. I definitely won’t be back after this trip. Last year the issue was I booked a king size bed for a higher rate when booking but was given a queen size bed for the price of a king. My partner’s hit his foot on the metal rails due to the mattress being too small for the rails when we told front desk about the issue nothing was done just an ok we will look at it statement... This year there was no hot water. We called down to the front desk twice and we got told to run the bathroom sink water and shower at the same time and it would heat up! Ummmm huh? It took hours for house keeping to bring us new towels and wash cloths. The on site laundry room only had one washer that was supposed to be functional but it wasn’t. What a surprise. It didn’t wash the clothes or drain properly. When we told front desk there was nothing said just an ok. They offered nothing to help solve the issue or accommodate us for the trouble. At breakfast the water had rust and dirt at the bottom of it. For almost $300 a night I expected much more. I only had a two night stay so my family just tried to make the most of it. I don’t recommend anyone staying here. There was also an incident where the fire alarm went off but it wasn’t very audible until we opened the door. It ended up being nothing serious but we didn’t know until going down to the lobby.

    Hotel was clean and the room was very clean as well. Everything we needed was supplied in the room kitchen as well! The pool area was lovely and there was a nice grill for those looking to cookout. The hotel is located in a great area and is close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The only minor issue I had was that the pillows were very soft (great for those who love a cloud-like pillow) and I had to stack 4 on top of one another. Not a big deal though, as I will just bring a firm pillow from home on my next stay at this hotel. I will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip to the area!

    Hotel was clean and the room was very clean as well. Everything we needed was supplied in the room kitchen as well! The pool area was lovely and there was a nice grill for those looking to cookout. The hotel is located in a great area and is close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants.     We had a good experience overall. The were issues with the first two rooms we stayed in due to air conditioning not working but the staff were quick to make it right. We had a cold experience with the staff when checking out that was odd but overall they were kind.

    Everything was good as usual but my room was nearest the exit door to the back parking lot. The door did not lock. At all . No key was needed to open it. Anyone could walk into the hotel. I reported it and they seemed aware of it. It was also a very dirty door and the rug was worn and rolled up on the end. They did nice renovations but i did not like the door unlocked. room was nice.

    This is a nice property. however it lacked certain amenities. The room didn't have tissues, note pad, pen. The air conditioning was noisy & it fluctuated. The rooms were ok, windows dirty. Housekeeping only came every other day. Cigarette butts on ground outside. The pool was uninviting, looked dirty. It was ok but i expected more from a Hilton property.

    The room we booked was unavailable because the air conditioning did not work. We got a different room. When we went to that room, it already had a guest in it. We got a 3rd room, supposedly non-smoking but the room reeked of smoke. And the bathroom was even worse. Disgusting. There was no other room available so we left and booked a nearby hotel. Will note that the lady at the lobby tried her best to fix things but it was just an unfixable mess.

    There was only one trash can in the entire room. The kitchen had no trash can and the lights and charging stations were all unplugged. It took us a minute to plug everything in. It’s almost like the room wasn’t set up. But overall, good.

When I turned on the overhead fan in the bedroom, huge clumps of dust flew around the room. Went down to breakfast on Monday at 8:30, breakfast is supposed to end at nine. There was barely any food left.

    There were no ice machines in the building. No telephones in the room so you could not call the front desk or any information with the phone Number. When we arrived at 3:00 for our check in our rooms were not ready & we were told they would be ready when we returned from getting something to eat. When we returned only 1 room was ready so that gave us the other room on another floor which we had asked for them to be close together. The cable TV did not work the first night & the lamps did not work either. They did get those items fixed the next day.

    Our room was not ready when we arrived and we arrived 2 hours after check in time. When we got into the room it was not clean. It looked like all that was done was emptied trash and changed linens. There were stains on the bathroom floor that were not scrubbed around toilet and the paper was not refilled. We found a safety pin left behind that our toddler could have found if we had not found it first. There were no towels in the room when we arrived. Asked at the desk about it and was informed that none were available and they would bring some up. When we got towels they gave us 3 for a family of 5. This was a reoccurring issue during our stay. We wanted to use the guest laundry but was informed that it was out of order. Also saw an uncovered power outlet that thankfully was behind the curtain in the living space. When we talked to management at the hotel the reason they gave us was staffing issues. I understand this but it would have been nice to know this when we arrived that inadequate staff could impact services. We sent an email to the GM of the hotel but never received a response.

    It was in a very good area, convenient to where we needed to be, and shopping in walking distance. The hotel was undergoing renovation so there were a lot of old sofas and chairs stacked outside (not too attractive). Also, the restroom door jammed locked with my husband inside (lol) but the staff came down to the room immediately got it open. They offered to discount but it didn't seem fair to accept for a very minor inconvenience that they had no control over.     It was in a very good area, convenient to where we needed to be, and shopping in walking distance. The hotel was undergoing renovation so there were a lot of old sofas and chairs stacked outside (not too attractive). Also, the restroom door jammed locked with my husband inside (lol) but the staff came down to the room immediately got it open. They offered to discount but it didn't seem fair to accept for a very minor inconvenience that they had no control over.     I was not informed that the room I booked and paid for was unavailable until I arrived at the property due to renovations. Firstly, the suite shouldn’t have been available to book and why in the world was I charged the same price for a small accommodations????? Unacceptable

    Breakfast was free and very tasty (Ms. Thelma was especially gracious and welcoming). The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were all polite and understanding. Location: The hotel is tucked within a moderately busy business area. Target literally connects with the end of the hotel parking lot. You can leave your car parked and enjoy an leisurely walk to convenience stores and small businesses. Cons: Even with the renovations, there weren't any.

    We have stayed at this property 2-3 times a year for several years because of its great location and staff when we visit family in Charleston, and was thrilled when we found out they take pets since we recently got a dog. However, we did not realize there was an extra cost involved until we checked in. We got a really good deal on the room due to it being Christmas and the renovations (which are needed), but did not expect the pet fee to be almost as much as the room. The property said Expedia should have told us, but I called the property before our visit to make sure we could get a room on the first floor because of the dog, and nothing was said about it then either. I would typically give a better review but this visit review is based on how the check-in representative handled my questions about the pet fee and there were no trash cans in the room. Hopefully things will get back to normal once the renovations are completed.

    Property is going through renovations. Wasn’t aware of this at booking, but we didn’t hear any noises and aside from the containers outside, we couldn’t even tell they were in the Reno process. Front guest services were friendly. Cleaning lady had a bit of an attitude - you can tell she didn’t want to be there.

    The staff was friendly and prompt. Sadly, pretty much everything about this place was badly worn. It's a pet friendly hotel and clearly the furniture bore the brunt if that. On the bright side, the property is currently under renovation. I would return- but not until it got it's much-needed face lift!

    Everything was wonderful. We stayed there for 9 days and everyone was very accommodating. The rooms need some updating and a little better cleaning especially since animals are welcome. The rooms need better carpet cleaning to get the smell of urine out. The staff was very friendly and overall our stay was great. We will go back!

    This was my second time staying here. It’s always clean. The beds are always comfortable. The staff is always nice. The location is perfect. It’s right in between Charleston and also the palm. Very nice area.

    We were told they were remodeling (moving furniture) shouldn’t bother us. It was like a jackhammer non stop 9-4 couldn’t utilize the hotel during those hours too loud for tv, sleeping, reading… it was ridiculous that it took them so long to remove tile from bathrooms out of the six days we were there it sounded like they moved down one room.

    The check in process was smooth. I don't recall the lady's name, but she was very nice. We entered our room and there was a strong stench of mildew. I went back to the front desk. A different room was offered, where someone was sent to first inspect the room. He returned, after a long absence, and advised the room was good. I was then given the key and decided to check for myself. Walking down the hall, there was a terrible odor. I walked into the room, and of course, it smelled as though it had been freshly deodorized and the furniture had stains. We decided to sightsee and go to the store where I purchased Lysol and Febreze. When we returned to our room, the fresh deodorized scent had worn off and a mildew smell was there. I sprayed Lysol on the furniture, curtains and the carpet. Waited a few minutes, then sprayed Febreze on the same. Repeated before bed. We were there for 5 nights and sprayed everything for 3 days before leaving our room. The stench remained in the hallway. I was told that maintenance was working on getting rid of the smell in the hallway, but I guess it was never figured out. They were also in the process of renovating so it was very noisy, the rooms do not keep much sound out as we could hear orher things going on outside of the room. When booking, it would've been nice to advise of the remodeling. I spoke with Shye-Kairah regarding my concerns, she was super duper nice and offered to move our room again. We declined. Will never again stay here.
