I liked the breakfast, however, I didn't think I'd be charged for it. I could have sworn that free breakfast was included when I booked the room. The guy running the breakfast was really nice and accommodating! However, the rest of the staff was not very friendly and not very accommodating! We got to the hotel at about 11 am to check in and was told that we have no rooms available yet and that check in time was at 3:00. I did know that 3:00 was check in time but was told over the phone a few days prior that we could probably get checked in around noon or a little bit afterwards as soon as there was a room available. Anyway, I was okay that we could not check in yet so we waited in the lobby. At noon I went back up to the desk and asked the girl if a room was ready yet and she said no. So we waited another hour and around 1:10 she came up to us and said, "wait you still haven't checked in yet?" I said no we were waiting for you to come over to us and tell us that a room was ready. So she apologized and checked us in. Even though she apologized it was a bit annoying that she forgot about us and then kind of acted like it wasn't her fault. That was not a good start to our stay. Next, we were told we'd get maid service every other day, which was okay, but we never got any service the 4 days we were there. Granted our do not disturb sign was on our door, but we were never asked by the maid if we wanted our room clean even when asked for some fresh towels, in which she gave me one towel. Speaking of towels, the pool didn't have any towels available on Friday for many hours. All in all, it wasn't a bad stay, but it definitely wasn't a good one! see up top

This was an EXCELLENT property, we had a group staying and they were so welcoming. We got to hang out in the lobby and treat it like our living room. The entire staff treated us so well!!!
- 4/5
Room spacious and clean. They dont keep coffee out in the lobby like most. Nice pool and gym.

One of the elevator's was broken.
- 5/5
Very clean and stay was enjoyable
- 5/5
Best Garden Inn I've seen. Big beautiful lobby and bar area.
- 2/5
The staff was great, but the hotel is old and falling apart. Only one elevator was in service, only one dryer was working, and the fitness center was filthy.

This was a road trip home, stopping at several Hilton properties along the way. This one was by far the best.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the cooked-to-order omelettes every morning. The room wasn’t as spacious as I would prefer but the mattresses were very comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There wasn’t housekeeping every day so we had to ask for clean towels. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and highly recommend staying here!
- 5/5
Wonderful stay with clean rooms, efficient and helpful staff, and close proximity to downtown Charleston! Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
U am disappointed that I added a day to my trip at 3 times the price, had to check out and check in to another room and got charged an early check in fee. Feel very violated.
- 5/5
wonderful place to stay only minutes from downtown Charleston.
- 5/5
Everything was top notch.

The bar was well stocked, the entire staff very very nice. Very quiet hotel slept grear

Our stay at the hotel was good. I did find stray hairs in the bathroom, other than that the room was clean. Staff was pleasant upon arrival and during our stay.

Pillows were awful! Bed just okay.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff, close to everything and quiet

Coffe maker did not work in either room. No clocks. Housekeeping came to our rooms while we were away but not checked out and were in the process of stripping our beds ready
- 5/5
Lovely hotel lobby, nice room, nice bathroom/showet
- 4/5
The hotel was nice overall, but nothing amazing. The room was clean, but having to pay to park in a huge parking lot, when I'm already paying to stay there was quite off putting.

Staff were exceptional and the rooms were immaculate !!

The front desk is always very friendly and helpful. I’ve stay at this property before and will be back
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was friendly shout out to my to the one front desk staff member "DC". I didnt catch his actual name he recently relocated from the DC area but he was helpful in providing directions and fixong our room key issue.
- 5/5
was a excellent stay and really close to Charleston ! Mt Pleasant is the place to be though !
- 5/5
This hotel was better than a 5 star - much better! From the night clerk that checked me in to the morning staff that checked me out - so friendly and accommodating. I had asked the night clerk to have my room stocked with ice and extra towels; she did this before I arrived. This morning an employee was on the floor scrubbing table chair legs. I can’t brag enough! Great job.
- 1/5
We got in super late so we I went to check in the lady said she had already missed our check in time and she had done her audit. She said we could sit down and rebook but we still wouldn’t be able to check into until 12pm. The time was 3:45am

Lisa, Lamar, and another tall gentleman with circular glasses at front desk were amazing, hospitable, and very kind. They went above and beyond and made me feel secure as a solo traveler at the time. I would book here again, 10/10 service!
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. I thought it was a great hotel.
- 5/5
The staff was very professional and kind from the moment I walked in, the room was very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. I will stay here again and again!

Morning at 3am. Scared us and then my husband flushed the toilet and it went away. It happened again the second night , I have never experienced that before.

Nice room, good services
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
The hotel was fine. Rooms were clean but the lobby had a giant leak in the ceiling and water was just collecting in a bucket. Breakfast was expensive and no different than the free breakfast at other hotels. Parking was not free and the hotel is located in an area where other hotels offer free parking. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Clean. Neat
- 5/5
Honestly some of the friendliest hotel staff I have ever experienced. Anything we needed they helped with, so accommodating. We have stayed a lot of places and this hands down was a great stay!
- 5/5
Everything. Gym was very good. Since we travel for tournament its very helpful.
- 4/5
Hotel and room was great. Was surprised to find they charge for parking now even though hotel is located where there is no shortage to park.
- 3/5
Overall, the experience was ok. What I did not like is the fact that guests are charged for parking. Although the fee is minimal, I don’t see the need to charge for parking. Room was clean but pillows were uncomfortable. Housekeeping knocked on our door at 0900. Not sure I would return.
- 5/5
Check in was smooth, staff welcomed us upon arrival, clean facilities, QUIET, will certainly plan to return!
- 5/5
Clean room. Friendly staff
- 5/5
Multiple drinks to choose from and food was fresh and warm.
- 4/5
With so many options around that don’t charge for parking, next time I’ll book one of those properties. A little expensive for what you get.
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
It was perfect. Check out time at 11 was great. Bar was great.
- 5/5
It was a very nice stay overall, but I felt the parking fee for a hotel in the suburbs was over the top.
- 5/5
The main areas and the room were very clean and smelled fantastic. The staff was very friendly. When I return to this area, I will certainly stay here again.

- 5/5
Nice large room, good workout facility, good bar, friendly staff, very helpful
- 4/5
Very nice hotel. Stayed there multiple times.
- 3/5
This hotel gets the job done if you just need a place to stay. There’s no ambience at the lobby bar and our room had a strong stench of cleaning fluid. However if you want easy access to Charleston without paying Charleston prices this hotel works.
- 5/5
All was outstanding!
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet
- 5/5
I loved the king suite...Juwan, was so helpful in upgrading our regular king room to the king suite. He is awesome!
- 5/5
Great staff and very clean hotel.
- 5/5
Super nice staff!
- 5/5
Clean and great location
- 4/5
I did not like the daily parking and no free breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
Nice, quiet, clean and friendly staff members.
- 4/5
Only complaint was the cleaning staff waking us up knocking on the door and opening it at 930am! Then coming back AGAIN an hour later and doing it again! With the do not disturb tag on the door!
- 3/5
Small room zero amenities and needs a major renovation!
- 5/5
Prime location to patriots point
- 2/5
A/C is dated in would not go below 70 degrees most of the time. One mattress would sink so I took that one and let wife and daughter take the other. Partial refund should be provided with these basic necessities I was charged for.
- 3/5
Staff at the hotel were great and the place was clean. I just didn’t feel safe part of the time.
- 5/5
We live in Charleston but needed a change of scenery. This hotel was super nice. Close to everything.
- 1/5
Was not able to check in. Arrived at 3pm no staff at counter waited 25 minutes and still staff was not available. As I was leaving 2 employees are entering, I asked what was happening and was informed that they were having a break and to come back in a hour. I expect to be refunded for the charge ! If I do not receive the refund I’m prepared to take legal action.
- 4/5
We were a bit upset that we had to pay to park at the hotel. It wasn't the amount ($10.00 for 2 days), but not knowing we had to pay. I believe that should be included in the cost. I had gone through Hotels.com, and I didn't realize that there was a huge charge for breakfast. $12 for a cold buffet or $16 for a hot meal. Quite an expense when there were 3 of us. The room was clean and the front desk receptionist were very friendly and helpful. There wasn't any coffee or ice water sitting out for guests.
- 5/5
Perfectly located, close to downtown and also close to Old Mt. Pleasant.
- 5/5
Staying at this location was easy to get to Charleston on one side and Isle of Palms on the other side. Lots of places to eat. We were on the 3rd floor and was very quiet as the hotel seemed to be quiet full. The beds was very comfortable. They do have a restaurant at this facility but we didn't eat there. We wanted to see what was available in the city.
- 5/5
Was in a great and convenient location! 10 min drive to downtown Charleston, but also super close to Patriots Point and to Mt Pleasant amenities. Friendly staff and nice rooms
- 5/5
It was a nice comfy stay! Best staff service!
- 5/5
This hotel was great especially for families with kids. It was very convenient between DT Charleston, the beaches, and Shem's Creek. The room was great, but it seemed that room service was only every other day. We also thought there breakfast included but found you had to pay extra. Overall, a great stay!
- 5/5
Paying for parking is ridiculous.
- 3/5
The room needed much better solid pillows . They are too soft . Also, the bathroom needs a long shelf underneath to put bath items . And more hooks . And one elevator was broken . We had to wait way too long for the elevator every time . The staff was very nice .
- 5/5
The $5 per night parking charge was unexpected
- 5/5
I like the property, just one suggestion. It would be beneficial to install electric vehicle charging stations. I had to drive 20 minutes for the nearest station.
- 5/5
Close to southeastern spine inst.
- 3/5
The hot water was down for the entire 3 day stay.
- 5/5
Very friendly
- 4/5
Good room, friendly staff, great location.
- 3/5
We stayed Monday to Thursday. There wasn't any hot water. Surely it is fixed by now. Otherwise nice hotel.
- 1/5
They charge for some resort fees
- 2/5
Location is great
- 2/5
There was no hot water. The staff should have offered everyone a complimentary breakfast, a small discount, or something. Also, the hotel has started charging $5 per night for parking. This is a suburban hotel with a large surface lot. The parking charge is absurd. I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but I will not be back.
- 5/5
Very friendly and accommodating staff, tgey were all very nice and helpful any time I asked for anything. I recommend adding the breakfast to your reservation, there is a small buffet but you can also order anything extra such as omelet, pancakes, waffle, french toast...The location is convenient to everything and we always had easy available parking and felt safe. Although the pool is small, it was always clean, never too many people but kids would always find someone to play with & had fun, plenty of chairs & seating. Rooms were small, still had everything we needed, mini fridge stays cold, has microwave, beds & pillows were comfy, loved the blackout blinds & curtains. Whenever I called for anything such as clean towels, tp, more coffee pods, the staff brought it right away. The 1 & only thing i would complain about are the luggage carriers are smaller and we had to use 2 to & go back & forth couple times as we couldn't fit everything on those type even though we packed light & only had duffle or tote bags. I loved this Hilton Garden Inn, very nice especially the staff deserves ☆☆☆☆☆ Thank you & much appreciation!
- 5/5
The room and bathroom was clean. I could tell the bathroom had been cleaned due to the smell that it was nice and fresh. The people at the front desk was nice and friendly, and willing to help if needed. It was a nice stay.
- 5/5
Great stay. Thanks! I will be back
- 5/5
Very polite and knowledgeable front desk staff. Room quiet and clean.
- 5/5
Great place to stay for short time .very clean and staff were very friendly.
- 3/5
told staff that room door would not close unless forcefully closed - they did nothing to rectify; told them again the next day and they showed little interest. front desk staff simply took out a small Post-it note and wrote something and that was it
- 3/5
The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Room was clean. When booking on Expedia we were under impression parking was free and no other charges but parking 5.00 per day and 25.00 incidental fee which we are not sure what that was for!
- 5/5
All great Friendly staff, welcoming and asking if I needed anything. Great atmosphere.
- 5/5
Great home base for our weekend trip to Charleston! 10 min drive to downtown Charleston and similar distance to Shem Creek and a bunch of restaurant options. Conveniently located to get in and out for our trips downtown. Would definitely consider this over staying downtown considering the price difference for a similar hotel!
- 4/5
I was surprised that they do not clean the room and bath dailey. it was OK for a short stay.
- 5/5
Great location, minutes to downtown. Suite rooms very spacious with two bathrooms. Dog friendly.
- 5/5
Staff was fantastic
- 5/5
Staff was attentive and helpful at all times. I like too that maid service was every other day. I would suggest, instead of bar stop, have liquid soap.
- 5/5
I had a brief stay with this visit, but it was very comfortable and the breakfast was on point.
- 4/5
Same as everywhere else not one employee is trained correctly. So there isn't a standard togoby.
- 5/5
Beautiful, clean, quiet suite
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
My favorite hotel in town. Staff is great professional but not stuffy location great in-house bar has great food overall a great relaxing experience and isn’t terribly expensive
- 4/5
I didn't like how the clerk tried to say that she couldn't find my reservation after locating my reservation
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Close to the USS Yorktown, Shem Creek and Charleston. Will definitely stay there again!!!
- 5/5
Good stay
- 3/5
Over-priced. $5 a night to park, on top of the astronomical room fee. And no, you arent getting free breakfast either.
- 5/5
Great hotel, location was good, too.
- 5/5
Great stay, will be back!
- 5/5
Very nice-clean and friendly front desk
- 4/5
Ok
- 1/5
Our family was booked for 3 nights and after two mornings of freezing cold showers in very rundown conditions we opted to end our trip a day early. Super disappointed that a Hilton brand hotel was this rundown.
- 5/5
Excellent location! It was very easy to get to downtown Charleston.
- 5/5
Enjoyed my stay. This property was clean and quiet.
- 5/5
I dont like a 5 dollar parking fee. Bad business model in my opinion.
- 4/5
I was a little disappointed that breakfast was not included and we had a $5. A day parking fee. OVER 6 Benjamin's for three nights. Breakfast and parking should be included.
- 4/5
Easy access and near a lot things to do
- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel, my wife had no complaints and the staff was very helpful. We plan on coming back next year and will definitely stay at this Hilton Garden Inn.
- 5/5
Convenient location to downtown Charleston. As long as your expectations are that you’re staying in a Hilton Garden Inn, you will be very satisfied. Great staff, relatively new.
- 5/5
In a good location. Access to downtown and a nice selection of restaurants.
- 5/5
We had a very nice time in Charleston.
- 5/5
I received assistance from the front desk on 2 occasions during my short stay. The staff was most helpful!
- 5/5
Great staff made for a great stay!
- 4/5
Very comfortable beds. Most of the staff was very friendly but the assistant manager who checked us in was quite rude.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
Super nice updated property. Delicious breakfast options
- 5/5
Clean - great service from staff, location nearly 10 mins away everywhere you need to be in Charleston
- 5/5
Location
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Lobby was enormous and very welcoming. We had a two room suite. Sooooooo spacious! It's the largest suite I've ever stayed in. Awesome property. Attentive and professional front desk staff.
- 5/5
Very friendly check in by Mr.Randy
- 5/5
Very friendly
- 3/5
There is a nightly parking fee of $5 and breakfast is not complementary (this is very clearly stated but it's nice to know) Had a miscommunication at the front desk as I am a Hilton rewards member. They offered the perks from that even though I booked via expedia. I questioned it, but they confirmed I was eligible. At the end of the stay, instead of a $0 balance I had several charges. When I called to inquire they said sorry, you weren't eligible, no credit given. I should have checked again during the stay-but be aware if they offer Hilton perks.
- 2/5
Booked well in advance and on the day arrived to find one of the rooms was unavailable. Room service failed to make beds. Disjointed staff.
- 3/5
Front desk not paying attention to guests. Black woman (front desk) was sitting at the bar and the phone was constantly ringing. We asked someone to clean the room (we stayed there for 3 days) but it was dirty after they ‘cleaned.’
- 5/5
Everything was nice and clean and fresh. I just wish i had more time to do things
- 5/5
Staff is friendly & tentative. Room was clean with the perfect functionalities of home while being away. Always love staying here and look forward to going back.
- 4/5
Staff was great and accommodating. Property was very nice as well but the bed and pillows were absolutely terrible. Woke up with severe back pain 2 days in a row. Advised staff and they were very nice and assured us they would advise management.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. I will definitely stay here again. Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Very nice location! Housekeeping very very good! Staff nice
- 4/5
Clean, professional & quiet. Only one MAJOR issue and as a female arriving late, raining, cold and with a breathing (lung) disorder; VERY inconvenient to have to walk all the way back to the car after checking in to place a paper on my dash instead of taking license tag and make of car.
- 3/5
It feels like a very no frills type of stay. The breakfast which was not included in the stay was good but supplies were non exist or low. There was no fresh milk for 2 days- completely unacceptable and it didnt seem management even knew about that when I mentioned it. Lack of communication and lack of onsite management is clearly an issue. When I asked for english muffins the answer was that they were also out of that because no one took them out of the freezer. Seems simple task for daily breakfast at a hotel.
- 4/5
We had a great stay! At check-in, the staff recommended several restaurants in the area and all were delicious. The location is perfect for enjoying both Charleston and the Mt. Pleasant area.
- 4/5
Restaurants too far
- 4/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
Breakfast was awesome. If you book room do book with breakfast included. Everything else was perfect.
- 5/5
Randy welcomed us and made sure we were happy our entire stay! It was soundproof and comfy. Coffee was sooooo good
- 5/5
Great place and location
