The location was perfect, the accommodations/room was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing and all our activities were in close proximity to the hotel. NO issues.

My experience was great. The staff was nice. Room was clean. I was surprised by how nice and comfy the bed was. I found parking right up front. It was just an over night trip, but I will definitely be coming back. No breakfast. I actually was looking for breakfast.

Perfect homebase for a several day stay to visit Charleston and other surrounding areas. Very, very clean! Good fridge, stovetop, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, pots/pans, etc. The hotel has complimentary delicious coffee and pleasant outdoor seating area out back. Complimentary laundry room was a bonus! Staff: excellent. The bed was extremely firm. In room 118, the shower faucet is backwards: toward the “red” is cold and the “blue” is hot. But if you figure that out, all is well.

The hotel was nice and clean with a good location but I checked out on March 16,3026 and it's now April 4th and they will not release my deposit. I have called multiple times and they will not resolve the issues. Do NOT stay at this property unless you want to be scammed out of $100!

This hotel was perfect for our short trip to Charleston. Located directly across the bridge from historical downtown with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was spacious and well designed with a good size kitchen and comfortable bed. The staff was very pleasant and ready to help with anything we needed. We would definitely stay again when back in the area.

We had a great stay with Candlewood. Upon arrival we had an issue with the third party booking we chose, but the manager Rachael was able to fix it and help us get into our room! The room was clean and spacious as well as all the amenities and the staff were so friendly/helpful!

Location was good. I appreciated the layout of the 2-bdrm suite, and the fact that guest laundry was complimentary was amazing. Very limited parking. Also, this is not just a commentary against Candlewood Suites, but I truly with a hotel chain would ensure a bedside table or surface of some kind on either side of the bed for the comfort of both partners.

The room was clean and accommodating; however, the air freshener, deodorizer, or something scented was used in the room prior to me checking in, that was extremely strong scented and it did not fade over my stay. It disrupted my sleep as I am chemically sensitive. The window only opened minimally and did not have a screen to block bugs/fly's.

Room exceeded expectations with mini kitchen

Room was very clean. Nice setup. I feel we should be refunded for our stay because we had no heat. We call the front office and was told how to adjust the heat but the only thing it would do was blow cold air. We ended up turning the thing off. We were told there was no maintenance person on at that time. It was fine while we sleep but a little chilly in the morning after a shower.

Location was right next bridge leading to Charleston. Room was clean. Nice refrigerator and kitchen area even with silverware. The price was very affordable. Thank you for our stay.

The location is perfect for exploring the Charleston/Isle of Palms area. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Perhaps a continental breakfast could be offered.

Super clean and staff was terrific. It had a lot of extras like free laundry facility and grills to use. Hard to control the temp, the air blew directly across the bed and you had to have it on heat or A/C not both.

The hotel was super clean and the staff friendly. The location is really great for easily getting to the bridge and into Charleston or driving out to the beaches. It was unexpectedly really quiet at night, too. We recommend it for those who want to cook some and not eat out the whole visit to Charleston. It was comfortable and convenient. A hidden gem!

Only issues I had were chk in and chk out. I wasn’t asked which card I preferred to use at chk in and they billed the wrong card for the stay. And at chkout had a “glitch” in their system that said I had checked out at 6 in the morning and I had staff knocking on my door at 8 am to clean it. Other than that a great place to stay and very quiet

Our stay was very nice & peaceful, we the staff was so friendly & engaging. Cared about our needs very attentive. Our room was so comfortable & beautiful very clean , and the amenities were updated nicely . We felt right at home , the bed was so comfortable we slept very well . The area is very enchanting nice for walking and we felt safe. Looking forward to staying again .

This hotel is new and everything is beautiful (property, common areas, room) but the entire place (hallway, stairwell, and most importantly, room) smells like wet dog or dog pee (or both). The hotel is obviously pet friendly (which is great for those who need that), but the smell is very noticeable when you walk into your room or down the hall.

One minus — the reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because the air conditioner blows directly towards the bed. If you want to leave it on overnight, even at the lowest setting, you’ll get cold air blowing on you, which can lead to getting sick or feeling cold.

The desk staff were so pleasant and friendly! The bed was the most comfortable bed I've had my entire 6 week trip! The kitchen was perfect. Nice large TV. The staff obviously prioritize cleaning but I think perhaps they could find cleaners with less odors... I always like to walk in and not smell anything ... vs cleaners odors... but I understand that they really care about keeping everything clean and they do a great job with that! The location was great! Right off the bridge to the city so it's only 5 min. to the city. You get so much more for your money. Plus Mt. Pleasant has a lot of great places to see and many great food options. I would definitely stay there again! The coffee in lobby was great too!

Decent budget hotel in a great area, convenient to all beautiful Mt Pleasant has to offer. The AC was a little too close to my bed though, and every time it switched on it blew freezing cold air right on top of me. But at least the room stayed cool during the heat wave we experienced

The room was not clean. The pillows had multiple stains on them. The sheets were also dirty. You could hear the neighbors tv and beware of strong smelling food odors from neighboring rooms cooking. We had to request new pillows and sheets. The bathroom is small and the door almost hits the toilet when opened.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and we did not feel cramped. Having the kitchen and amenities like a microwave and large fridge was really nice. The only critiques would be a larger counter in the bathroom and a mirror over the desk so it could be used as a second place to do hair and makeup.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The location is great, just a short drive over the bridge to Charleston. You can reach downtown in approx. 13 min. Staff was nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean with great amenities such as microwave, dishwasher and lots of dishes and utensils for cooking. The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but definitely manageable. Parking was safe and convenient. The hotel is also close to some restaurants and a grocery store, which iOS very convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.

I loved how clean and quiet our stay was.

Nice room close to Charleston however keep in mind this hotel is right by the main road and was quite loud at night. Especially with people revving their engines at the stop light. Additionally, our room didn’t have hot water. We were only there 2 nights so we made do, but something to be aware of.

Perfect central location for our 24hrs in Charleston. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. Met all of our needs.

I like the rates! Good value. No breakfast provided, but that shows in the price. The worst experience we had here, was hearing many loud voices talking and laughing up and down our 3rd floor hallway. It kept us from sleeping for about an hour! This noise pollution occurred at about 3 a.m. - 4 a.m.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I had a great experience here! The staff were very warm and accommodating throughout my stay. The hotel was quiet and located near a variety of necessities/conveniences (i.e. Whole Foods), and the suite was big, clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. No complaints!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Yolanda was great when we checked in and when we got supplies from the cupboard. Room was very clean with good amenities. Definitely recommend!

It's a very cozy hotel. Room is comfortable and very clean, the only negative remark I have is a smell coming from the AC unit. Nothing that would hold me from booking again in the future.

Good location and nice area. Close to the Charleston Music Hall for a concert. Needs more parking spaces but if you check in early, park your vehicle and use a ride share, you’re ok.

It was great!!!! The room was very clean, staff was kind, and overall great stay!!!! Very easy to get to and in the center of all places, Charleston, Mt Pleasant, and Isle of Palm!!!! We will definitely be back.

Very clean, spacious and useful amenities. The staff, Yolanda, greeted us with a smile and made our check in swift and friendly. We had a very quiet and comfortable sleep. Highly recommend.

I like that they are Close to the beach and restaurants. It’s just a skip away from downtown. The rooms were clean and very spacious.

As well the A/C leaked inside on the rug (advised host at checkout of this). the item most affecting the rating is the chair that is in the room. Looks like they got it from a yard sale. I had asked to assure the filter in the A/C were clean - I was given the candid response about their cleanliness standards in an email reply but only one vent was clean out of the two. I cleaned the other due to the fact because hearing them talk to another person checking in they did not have any other availability.

Friendly staff and room was very clean. Very quiet and the hotel is close to downtown. My only problem was that the hot water wasn’t working very well the first night we were there. However that seemed to resolve itself the next few days. Other than that, very comfortable and as I said quiet and relaxing property.
