First, there is no bar/restaurant. It's closed down. The outside door did not lock. We went to the front desk b c our key wasn't working, she didn't ask for a name or verify if we were staying there. (Saftey issues) The pool! Oh my goodness was covered in mold on the sides, black mold. The pool it self was green. No way it should've been open! Hall ways had walmart grocery carts in them. The English speaking house maid was cussing up a storm and the laundry room door was wide open.

Old hotel with friendly staff. Furniture is very old, room needed towels and toilet paper so the rooms are not always ready for guests. Bed was surprisingly comfortable and price was low.

The king size bed was very comfortable The breakfast area was a mess. Looked like kids ransacked the place. Food was mediocre and the cleanliness of the room/restaurant made it less appetizing The shower in the room could be updated

The main part of room was somewhat clean but something splattered on wall. The bathroom was gross with a dirty floor and no shower curtain. The response I got the next day about the shower curtain was not an apology, just - well we can put one up now if you want. There were little ants all over the room and crawling on the bed. I would never stay here again.

The hotel needs update. The water in the pool was green instead clear. The hallway in the 2nd floor where we stayed smelled of marihuana. The breakfast was nice but didn’t have hot water to make hot chocolate or tea.

The first room had a distinct mustiness. The second room was fine although the towels had not been supplied after the previous cleaning. The staff promptly brought some. Overall a decent stay, but it feels like the facility could use a little attention.

Hotel is older but fairly well maintained. Beds are comfortable. Room air conditioning worked well. There was some molded caulking in the shower as well as some trash around the room. Overall the hotel is a good value for your dollar if you are looking for a comfortable and quiet place to stay.

The parking lot needs to be paved. The swimming pool area had not been cleaned. I pulled up globs of hair and put on side of pool. This was on Sunday night. When we checked out on Wednesday morning, there were still globs of hair. The trash had not been picked up around the pool either. Thankfully the sheets appeared to be clean.

We were desperate and traveling with small children so we had to stay one night at this hotel. It took going through four different rooms before one was somewhat acceptable. There were stains on the matress and bedding, bugs in the room, no shower curtain in one room we went through, food and garbage on the floor. The tile in the bathroom was dirty. This hotel deserves to be turned into the local health department.

I asked to move to a second room, and it was only slightly better in some ways, but worse in others. We couldn’t use the shower because there was black mold in there as well, and there was a green stuff growing on the showerhead. There was black mold, growing on the floor outside the shower. Everything was very messy and unkept. There was black stuff all over the ceiling like someone had been smoking in there and it smelled bad. It also was not a suite which we paid extra for, but they would not refund the $20 we spent on the upgrade. There were two women that checked in before me, and between the two of them, they had 15 children. It was loud all the time it they monopolized the pool the whole time we were there. In both rooms, there were just holes where lamps used to be next to the beds. If you value decent service, cleanliness, or decency, this is not the place for you. You will be disappointed.

When I arrived the staff told me my booking did not sync through Expedia and I’d have to call Expedia for a refund. Expedia tried to resolve things and the hotel gave me a room with the remote missing to the A/C. The staff gave me a spare remote that wasn’t the same brand as the A/C and didn’t work. I couldn’t open the door because it was swollen shut. When I finally got in, it was so humid and I took a look around and opened my window to be staring at a bunch of people in the indoor pool.

To start off this hotel was the worst. The staff was slow with checking people in. The rooms were not very clean. The toilet had so much rust in it the water was brown. The curtains was damn nest falling off the window it has stains and dust all over it. When I tried to turn the TV on there were no batteries in it. It took forever for the staff to bring new batteries to the room. The water pressure was extremely low in the sink and the shower head looked like it had lime and calcium build up. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone unless it was a last resort and this was all you could find.

I stayed with a couple of my kids just to get away for the night and let them swim. I was a little shocked at the amount of things in the room that were broken or didn’t work, as well as the lack of cleanliness. The white bead spread had brown stains, the pillows were stained yellow, the walls has spills down them, the bathroom toilet, shower, and floor had mildew/mold, the floor towel looked like it had a poop smear on it, wash clothes were stained yellowish brown, the sink above the fridge did not work (I tried to turn it on and although it sounded like it was running, no water came out other than a drip), and the window hand a rather large hole ripped out of the screen. This particular room was definitely not worth what I paid for it, but I didn’t complain because I knew the hotel was pretty booked up due to a sporting event. I would not stay at this hotel again. It was shocking enough that I took pictures due to disbelief.

Multiple towel had stains, bedding had stains, (bought clearance bedding from Walmart to sleep on) key cards hardly worked, door knob was falling off the bathroom door, bathroom counter was hanging down on one side by a half inch, shower rod was barely holding onto the wall so the curtain would not stay closed also had four wood screws on each side of the rod to help hold onto place. Had blue Room had a pool view with a busted curtain rod so you had a half room with light from the pool area. Never saw the pool being cleaned or maintained. Bottom of the pool had plenty of dirt and the stainless steel sides had stains that looked like coffee stains all over it. Breakfast area had no ac they had a industrial wall exhaust fan on a table blowing in the area OHSA would of loved to see this no backing on it and metal blades. Morning breakfast staff was non-existent. The one front desk lady wouldn't leave the desk area to get anything. Would just say find house keeping. They had signs for not blocking the doors with stones. They were block with stones every time I walked by. Not sure who's job it was to check but that person must have been on vacation. The only good thing was the room AC worked awesome.

One of the reasons i booked this hotel was because they advertised and showed pictures of a restaurant and pub. Everyday i was there, which encompassed both weekday and weekend days, both were closed. The room was disgusting, there was mold on the ledge or the tub and on the ceiling above the bed, the walls in the shower area were filthy, the bathroom door was hars to close due to either an extreme amount of dirt or the wood was peeling and gathering up, the curtains had what looked to be (hopefully) water stains on them. All in all od say the hotel is not worth the money and borderlines on biohazardous.

I went back to lobby and waited and no one came - finally opened the restroom door and asked the person in the stall if they were working here. Response was yes! I said it’s after 11pm and I’m still waiting to get into my rooms. Desk worker was pleasant enough but was ridiculous that I was waiting that long to get service.

Facility In need of a good cleaning and repair. Sink & shower/bathtub clogged .. when reported to staff. Nothing was done. Bathroom floor dirty. Staff bringing their small children with them as they worked. They said in a small wagon and played or rode their tricycles in the hallway & played. On the positive note, the place was in a convenient area, safe, & quiet. Parking was easy and plenty of places to park. I had left my pj's on the hook in back of the bathroom door and when I came back to get it, it was gone and when asking staff about it .. they said they didn't see it. Also at the same time, I left my pillow on the bed but they did return that.

I was very dissatisfied with the place. The breakfast and the staff. There wasn't nothing that I enjoyed. The room smelled. There was still potato chips on the floor. The staff was very rude. I had to double pay and wait to get my money back. I had to beg for a blanket. We stayed three days and they told me that I exceeded the amount of towels that I could have and that I needed to wash them if I wanted more. My daughter and her friends were dancing in the lobby to practice for competition for which we were there for and he screamed at all them and kicked them out of the lobby.

The staff was beyond rude. Our daughter was reduced to tears as she used the lobby to run her solo for dance competition the next day because the staff told us we were annoying, needed to leave, and we were bothering the others in the lobby. Mind you, we were the only ones down there at in the late evening. We had to beg for an extra blanket the first night and after staying for 3 days, we were told that we could not get clean towels unless we paid $2 a towel. Our room was dirty, boogers on shower wall, hair clumps on our clean towels when we arrived.

The place is really falling apart and dirty. Like really dirty. The pool had a light hanging with all the wires in the water, seemed a little unsafe 😂 parking lot was a disaster and I’m handicapped so that was frustrating. Parts of the building were cracking off and canopy’s were shredded. We decided to grab 2 Pepsi from the vending machine and they were $1.75, not bad but expired by nearly a year! Our room key stopped working 5 times in 2 days, we had to go to the front every single time and get new cards. The breakfast was ok, just not for me. Unfortunately, the restaurant/bar was not open while we were there so we were unable to use the pool table, which we really wanted to. Overall, we will never stay here again.

It was a decent hotel for the price. Booked this room a couple weeks before for the state wrestling tournament, was one of the few options that was not super expensive. It was a nice hotel with a comfortable room. Not exactly the most sound proof hotel, could hear constant thumping and thudding from all the kids in the hotel (probably more on the parents than the hotel itself). Not dirty, filthy like baseboards with mold on them, stained and sticky floors, bathrooms with toothpaste in the sink, all KINDS of hair in the bed, stains on the comforter, white powdery substance on all services in the room, and many more disgusting details. The heat is adjustable, as long as you want it to be 72 or 63, those are your only choices. The entire hotel reeks of cabbage and feet. The 30-something man that checked me in had on the most wrinkled shirt I'd ever seen. Like he slept in it. For a week. Dude, there's ironing boards in every room - maybe bop into one and give that shirt a quick press. He just looked and smelled unkempt and was quite rude. I went to check out at 6:30am and no one was at the desk. There was a sign, "Back in 5 minutes" which was blocking the "ring for service" button. After 26 minutes, I had to leave as I was already late for a morning meeting. I mean, it's Morton, IL, not the big city, for $80/night in that location, I expect big things. Like clean sheets and bathroom. Lots of hotels in Morton due to its proximity to the airport; pick another one, not Comfort Inn.

this is an older, distressed property. From the crumbling concrete and potholes of the parking lot to the damaged furniture and stale smoke smell of the room, this hotel is marginal at best. The breakfast was adequate and the beds were comfortable, but the vibe was "run down."

Very disappointed with this hotel. Do not believe the pictures oh the rooms. Ours looked nothing like the photos. We was assigned a room, went to said room and door wouldn’t open..back to the desk. She informed us that the door is broke and you have to open it a certain way. Umm, ok. We finally get in the room to see a shabby looking room. Upon inspection, we found pubic hair in the tub. We switched rooms, 2nd was shabby as well but was at least clean. We decided we would hunker down and make it work. Side note, the breakfast was horrible.

Rooms were unclean, one smelled so strongly of vomit we had to move to another room. Another had no shower curtain at all. The air conditioning did not seem to be on in the lobby/halls and was not on in the rooms until we turned them on, which made them stifling. Breakfast was mediocre and the coffee was not drinkable. We are not too picky, but would not stay here again.

My stay was nothing spectacular. The toilet seat moved all over the place. The room was clean, the shower was almost too hot, but worked well, just hard to adjust the water temperature. Staff answered questions, but were not very friendly. The scrambled eggs were awful and had absolutely no taste. I had a nice swim at the pool. There was quiet at night, so I had a good sleep. Parking lot was full of potholes.

The room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel itself is past its prime and it’s clear the owners are not spending money on the property. The shower rod was somehow wedged into place and promptly fell down. Awning on the patio was in tatters. Lots of places that needed paint or replacement. But the service was good.

Poor room lighting (dullest bulbs ever), single window looked directly into the indoor pool area--literally less than 3ft the window. Quite a few ants in the room. The toilet was awkwardly positioned right next to countertop, had to sit sort of sideways to not be rubbing right up againist it. Sub-par typical breakfast food. However, the bed was comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Photos appeared better than reality.

I booked a non-smoking king suite and ended up with a room with 2 queen beds that smelled like a dirty ash try. when I went to the front desk, they said they were fully booked and could do nothing but offer a fabric refresher spray bottle with some liquid in it which did absolutely nothing, forcing me to shop for air fresheners to address to problem on my own so we could at least be in the room without becoming nauseous.

The hotel seemed to be clean and well kept but aged some. Attached restaurant was advertised to be open which was part of the reason we chose to stay here but it was actually closed. Toilet was uncomfortably close to the bathroom counter whcih was very awkward. Key cards wouldn't work on the second night for either room so had to go back to the lobby to get rescanned.

This hotel was really disappointing. It was neither clean nor in good repair. As soon as we checked in, we found a pile of rubble (photo) in the corner of our room. We were moved to a new room. The bathroom floor was stained and dirty as was the mirror and faucet. The closet door was broken. The pool was out of order and all the equipment in the fitness center was broken. Common areas were dirty and in disrepair. The exterior door had a broken latch so using a keycard to enter the building was unnecessary and unsafe. The front desk clerk hung out in the bar in the evening and was barefoot. We come to Morton once a month, we won’t be staying here again.

The hotel is outdated with an effort to update. We ended up with a room next to pool so no outside view. Electrical issues with lighting (no light when you turn on the switch and a sizzling sound), hot water for the shower took forever, and room was very hot! Food was typical hotel brunch food. Beds weren’t comfortable. Coffee was watered down. Staff was friendly and they were quick to clean rooms in the morning.
