Price was great and we were there for one evening and the on our way.

The staff was very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay. TV went out on the second day, due to provider not the hotel. Staff was EXCELLENT and extremely helpful.

They were great with letting us get into our room early since my husband was doing testing at Duke all morning. The staff was fantastic, very helpful, and it was a pleasure to stay there!

I was very disappointed. We had made the reservation back in April for a king-size bed. When we arrived, we had no option but two queens. The bathroom door would not work at all. It was jammed. This is not what I had expected based on the reviews. If you make reservation two months ahead of time to give away, someone’s room is completely unacceptable.

Very convenient location, with appropriate amenities for the cost, and exceptional staff. The bathroom door was a very noisy pocket door that didn't work smoothly. Room cleaning must be requested, but normal supplies were happily provided when requested. Early morning jet noise was no more than you'd expect at a facility with "Airport" in its name.

We booked a room for the night because my wife had surgery scheduled for 5:30AM at the nearby Duke surgical center. We spent about 12 hours at this hotel at it was ideal for our purposes.

Hotel staff are awesome. Everyone that we encountered was very friendly and helpful and polite. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer front staff and shuttle driver.

I have stayed in this hotel 6 or 7 times. Overall I have had good experiences. This last time, at check out the young lady with blond-colored hair was a bit rude, for no apparent reason. Not sure why. I assume she was having a bad day. I asked for her name, but she refused to provide it to me. This might be an opportunity for additional customer service training. While I won't rule out staying here again on my regular trips to Raleigh, I will now consider staying at other hotels in the area, rather than using this one as my default, even if they are slightly more expensive.

And the staff was awesome they help guided us to restaurants and shopping areas It was so convenient and we enjoy it so much that we left our vehicle and it was a lot cheaper than the airport rates. I highly recommend this hotel.

Just used the room overnight prior to an early morning flight but I was impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, the cleanliness of the room and entire property! Left my car and took the airport shuttle which left promptly as scheduled. Pickup at the airport upon my return took only ten minutes for the shuttle to arrive after I called. Couldn’t be more satisfied with the overall experience!

Micahya is one of the most friendly and helpful front desk agents I have ever had the pleasure to interact with! Her welcoming attitude almost made me feel like I was at home. The shuttle service was a big plus for me as well, timely and very convenient. The junior king suite was very comfortable. The in-room coffee was a bit weak, the only negative I could think of.

Everything was great, but I’m glad I didn’t plan on the wake up. Call to get us down to the shuttle on time because it never came.

I cant stand the "incidental" 115.00 charge on my account after paying for the room already . Everybody is not a hood bird looking to steal or damage property. Some people just travel for business and are looking for a place to rest. They immediately take your money tell you how they will take it and then take their time refunding it. I feel that whole process is asinine.

The best amenities I can say about this hotel is the bed. I agree with the others and I have to say the bed is comfortable. The pillows were mixed some were firm and some were soft. The channels were also pretty decent. The downsize was it did look outdated and it also had the tub clogged when you shower and drain system went down slow. We also saw a cockroach in our last night and that’s why I gave it a 3 star overall. The staff was amazing! Friendly and helpful. Also the remote control did not work for the bigger tv. This hotel needs major renovations in order to have customers want to come back. If you stay for one night maybe two it works as it’s 6-7 minute drive from the airport. But would consider elsewhere.

I made reservations for a suite that was supposed to have a pullout sofa bed. The room was not a suite and it did not have a pullout sofa bed. That was the main reason I booked this hotel. The pictures aren’t accurate with what I got.

Amenities in the room were appreciated. Very comfortable bed with just right linen weight and warmth. Coffee maker a plus. Curtains kept room dark to sleep and evening was very quiet. After staying in Charleston and Savannah hotels, I was impressed with how well this room met all our needs and was tastefully decorated too. The location worked for us to stay prior to early morning flight and car rental return. I would highly recommend hotel. It it a bargain!

The place is very clean overall with the convenience of airport transportation which that’s a big plus and the staff was very friendly. They have free coffee, but no breakfast. I stayed there the third week of April so I didn’t get a chance to enjoy the pool, which looks beautiful. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel. Definitely recommended to others.

This was just a quock overnight stay for my daughter and I but the stay was great and we enjoyed the wonderful feont desk representative.

Polite staff, hallways smelled of smoke and in need of refurbishment. Bath tub would not drain during shower, with stains on the walls of the bathroom.

We wanted to spend the night close to the airport since we had an early morning flight, and we no longer want the stress of fearing to miss our flight. We were able to take the shuttle and all went very well.

I stayed here for about 5 days and it was a good stay. My room was clean, really good AC system, friendly staff, and decent room. It’s not a resort or super fancy but it served its purpose for the price! I would recommend this hotel to a friend or loved one. It’s also very close to the airport which was very convenient for me. I didn’t use it but the hotel also offers free shuttle to and from the airport which I thought was a really nice plus!

The staff were absolutely amazing! I hate that I don’t remember any names. Whoever worked between April 17-20 FIVE STARS! They were all amazing. From the shuttle driver, to housekeeping to the front desk clerk.

My husband and I stayed here for the Cardi B concert. The staff at check in was so nice and welcoming. The room was clean and the bed was so COMFORTABLE! The room was so cozy and we will definitely be back.

We booked this last minute due to a storm. The staff was amazing and so helpful. We were so tired from traveling all day and they were incredibly attentive to whatever we needed.

The hotel was really nice. It was very clean. The room was nice, but the staff was not as helpful. It took us for a while to get in and then we were waiting for at least 15 minutes. We’re running late. It was to celebrate a birthday party and we had a group with us, but the staff was not as nice as there was one lady who was nice and she was accommodating in the beginning when she arrived and later, there was two other people, older lady with very short I think gray hair was very rude. She talked to us as if we worked for them. She was being sarcastic remarks because we didn’t have a key and so she says, make sure you have your key with you. You should always have a key and reprimanding us versus saying would you like another key being accommodating which I didn’t feel the hotel wasn’t as a accommodating more like as we got scrutinizing treatment and we didn’t feel like the staff was welcoming as we got more of a unwelcoming energy when we arrived I feel that was very unprofessional, and they should really talk to their staff about how to accommodate guest when they are there and treat them accordingly. It was my birthday and it was not pleasant to experience that on the day that was supposed to be memorable in a good way. I usually don’t write reviews like this, but unfortunately, even the people who I was with said the staff was pretty rude.

The staff here was absolutely AMAZING! Mindy, Crystal, and all of the others were so kind, so accommodating and really made all the difference in our stay. I travel a LOT and have to say that the staff at this location are the best that I have ever encountered.

Building interior and amenities were a bit dated but served their purpose. Beds were comfortable and clean. Grounds and building were safe to walk around and while the hotel didn’t have a restaurant, food was available within walking distance or by using hotel shuttle. Pool wasn’t open yet.

The staff was incredibly friendly and the rooms were large, bright and comfortable (I had a King size Bed with a sleeper sofa). They have balconies which are small, but really a great addition. I got to know a number of the staff by name over the 5 days we were there. Highly recommend!

We checked in pretty late, but the smiles that greeted us were AMAZING! Crystal and Mina were so friendly and welcoming!! Especially after a VERY long day of travel! I really appreciated the fresh water available in the lobby - it was super refreshing with lemon, and very appreciated after a very long car ride. The rooms were really clean and beautifully appointed. The beds were the best part - SO comfortable that it was hard to leave! The soaps, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner smelled SO GOOD that it was hard not to smile every time we used them! It was really a great stay that we were all sorry we weren't staying longer! The price was jaw-droppingly affordable! We were prepared for the worst, but ended up with a stay that FAR exceeded our expectations! No breakfast offerings on the weekends. Not the end of the world, but might have been handy to have an energy bar or cereal to grab and go.

Our room smelled very strongly of mildew and the sink water ran brown. The iron in our room did not work so we asked the front desk for another one and all they could do was “inform housekeeping.” We never heard anything about it again and had to go to a friend’s hotel to use their iron. We ended up checking out early and did not spend the night. I don’t recommend this place!

The room was well designed and the shower pressure and temperature was spot-on. We had a first floor room whose patio opening into the courtyard, which was furnished with outdoor activities that may have been helpful for a family with kids. There was also a fire pit area with comfy outdoor furniture, which may have been a nice place to relax, but the grass was a bit long (8-10 inches), which discouraged me from walking in it after dark. In retrospect, if we'd looked specifically for a hotel that would pick us up at the train station in Cary, that may have been a better choice overall.

This hotel was exactly as expected. SUPER clean. Nice and efficient staff. Super convenient to airport. Shuttles Ran exactly on time! It honestly was perfect. Nothing more and importantly nothing less than I expected and great value.

The problem wasnt with Sonesta its with expedia. Hotel lost power n had 2 fire alarms go off, fire dept came twice. Some of the hotel had no tv or internet, some had no ac. The door to room wouldn't clise and was in the licked position but was opened. We had to switch hotels as we didn't feel safe. We did not spend 1 night there. Expedia basically refused to refund us, hung up on me, told me it was my problem. I will never use Expedia ir recommend them. Hotel staff was very nice at this hotel. I understand it was not their fault that they had no power but we had to find another place to stay and im being charged for two hotel stays

This was just a weekend trip. The hotel was nice overall and the front desk staff were great. My room was decent however the tub did have a backup and would fill up while the shower was running. No microwave in the room but there is one in the hall. The lobby is really nice as well. My only main complaint is the restaurant is closed on the weekends which is not noted on Expedia. There is another Sonesta hotel literally across the parking lot so perhaps on the weekends it would be nice if they accommodated guests from this hotel. There are many food places in walking distance of a half mile or less as well.

I was to be on the first airport shuttle & the driver was late. Thankfully we made it to the airport on time. Visiting someone in the army so I called ahead to make sure they could check in no problem because he was coming from ft Braggs and I was from Fl so he would make it before me. Lady assured me they would allow it she said she noted it so when I got there just to come and put my card on file. I offered to over the phone. They wouldn’t allow him to when he got there without his. No big deal. But then half the power went out in the hotel so we ended up leaving a day sooner because I’m not sleeping with no air and no fans. Not even an offer to credit anything. They didn’t even care. Elevator and Ice machine by the room was out so having to use the stairs from the 4th floor was not ideal

I stayed at Sonesta Select when my flight got cancelled, choosing it for the price and proximity to RDU. The person at the front desk was very kind. My room was quite clean. There was a slight smell of jet fuel that I attribute to being so close to the airport. I'm sure it can't be helped. The heating/AC unit was quiet.

I appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a busy day exploring the city. Overall, this hotel provided excellent value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers!

There was no full breakfast served, but you can buy breakfast type of foods like muffins etc. starting at 7am, too late for me… room very clean, staff friendly, the pool was not set up which was a disappointment, but will be available after Memorial Day. The included breakfast was not available on weekends. There were no blankets in the room, and the front desk clerk said she was the only staff available in the entire hotel. The bedlamps were too low for reading. Given how competitive the RDU market is, there are better options.

Beds were extremely uncomfortable. Our view was to the pool. Either close it for winter or maintain it. It was discussing to look at. Bathroom needs to be cleaned better. Mainly the grout in the floor. AC system was so loud and smelled of old cigarette smoke. It was so loud I had to turn it off to hear the planes go over head. No complementary breakfast. Just a beagle for $4.00. I do not recommend this place at all.

The bed was very comfortable and so was the couch. Everything seemed clean. A couple of challenges, one was that the walls were pretty thin. My neighbor was playing loud music, but to the staff's credit they addressed it when I brought it to their attention. I also found a large roach in the sink one evening. I did not see any other signs of uncleanliness, but this was certainly disconcerting to find in the room.

We ended up staying two nights here when we were trying to fly out of RDU during the winter storm and our flights kept getting canceled. Both the staff at the front desk and the shuttle drivers were friendly. The room was comfortable, and the lobby was nice. Enjoyed complimentary hot chocolate (delicious!), bottled water & chips when we checked in. The only "con" was the breakfast. There was a charge for it and it was pretty meh.

The lobby was festive for the holidays, which was an added touch to the property. The rooms were basic, but it served our purpose for one night; we were flying out of the country for vacation the following morning. The staff greeted us and were pleasant. The shuttle drivers to and from the hotel were friendly. We paid $5 per night for long-term parking…not bad at all. When we returned, we located our vehicle without incident. That said, we were grateful for our first stay at a Sonesta hotel.

My husband could not get any sleep ahead of his business travel because of the noise of people partying. Despite making it known to the front desk no action was taking. This went on till 4 am. Also when I contacted the hotel I was told oh well there is not much we can do about people being loud after hours. Based on that fact will never even book this place again.

AC was old and too loud to run. Had a large cockroach on the floor our first night and our last morning there was a smaller one on the lid of my coffee cup next to our bed. And our 1st day and a half our key for our room didn’t work so we would have to get the front desk to let us back in our room whenever we came back from going out.

Why does expedia require that I submit a full description of the hotel. I dont always have time or interest in doing that. All I want to do is give a star rating. Expedia, why is that unacceptable? There have been dozens of hotel stays that I have not submitted a "review" of for this reason and it is not fair to the hotel that you operate your review system this way.

I have stayed at this location 3 times in recent weeks. My rooms always spotless. Comfortable bed with curved sofa in Queen bed room. Quiet despite close proximity to airport. I prefer room facing the courtyard which offers large greenspace and patio. There is no restaurant on premises but several restaurants nearby. On time airport transport. Will be back.

When I arrived at the hotel, the front desk lady was equally rude. I greeted her politely, but she just said, “Last name and ID.” After I provided that information, she said “put a card in for $100 incidental fee,” handed me the room keys, called out “Tasha,” picked her phone and walked off without another word. There were no directions to the elevators or any sense of welcome. We actually had to ask the shuttle driver where to go, and thankfully he was kind enough to walk us there. The only positive part of my stay was that the rooms were clean and the shuttle driver was polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism and courtesy from the front desk staff really overshadowed everything else.

Room was clean, the bed were slightly firm (im a medium bed person), but the pillows were TERRIBLE. They flattened with the slightest bit of pressure. So firm bed and flat pillows made for a very uncomfortable sleep. I ended up on the couch. I asked for a pillow top for the bed but they don’t have those available.

I did the job. Difficulties with key card and multiple instances i had to wait outside hotel room to get staff to fix the door.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean but could have been vaccumed better. I saw multiple hairs on the ground that did not belong to us. Otherwise clean. I enjoyed the smell of the soaps and lotions provided.

The room was clean for the most part. Not sure though if all bedding was washed as the comforter on one of the beds had a small blood stain on the comforter. I recommend requesting new bedding upon arrival. Some parts of the bathroom near the shower could have used some light repair, also water didn’t drain fast. The fridge seemed to not stay on consistently you have a push a button inside to turn it back on, but chilled everything fine when on (only the shelve part, the fridge door did not cool drinks). Other than those things though it is not bad at all for the 2 nights we stayed. Would recommend them for short stays especially if attending an event at Carter Finely stadium.

Room was not ready upon arrival after posted check-in time. Compensation was not offered. Many excuses made about being sold out. Completely unacceptable shower conditions. The water was not draining at all and rose to mid-calf level during showering. Very unhygienic. Many holes in the walls.

We did everything, but when we called the number the front desk gave us, no one answered, then we were forwarded to another number that told us there was no shuttle, but we had seen the shuttle running earlier. We finally had to get an uber back to the hotel. The next morning, the shuttle to the airport was awesome.

We didn’t have free breakfast as stated on the website: “From the moment you arrive, Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Durham Airport Morrisville makes you feel right at home with free breakfast including fresh coffee and a variety of offerings.” There was a cost for all but coffee. While the coffee was Starbucks, there was no creamer available that wasn’t flavored! The staff at night was lovely but not so much during the daytime. All the doors were jammed such that one needed muscle to get in/out. We will not return.

When we arrive staff was a bit rude, then another lady help when we get to the room the shower was clogged i informed to a employee we left and we come back still not done when a reported again and finally they fix it and was a group of teenagers imon the floor was also noisy unfortunately...

Thinnest walls I’ve ever experienced though. I could clearly hear everything going on in the rooms on either side of me including some innocuous stuff like snoring. There were some kids running up and down the hallways the whole time too which was really annoying. Not really a walkable area either although easy enough to get things delivered. Overall a decent hotel for the price, but it’s got some drawbacks that aren’t in control of the staff.

The rooms were clean, but the lobby was incredibly fragranced and we got headaches trying to spend time down there waiting on the rest of our group to wake up.

I was scared the entire stay! I stayed on the 4th floor and there was a door that looked like someone tried to break in it. Hallways were dirty. A few times through the night it sounded like someone was wiggling and room door handle. I would NEVER stay here again. The pictures online looked clean but once I got there it was dirty. Especially the carpet in the hallways

I’m new to NC from MA and staff are very accommodating. Front check-in is always kind and polite, especially Rekeiyah (I probably butchered the spelling) sorry. I’ve been here until my apartment is ready and there has been no problem. One of my best stays at a hotel by far.

The property was extremely close to the airport making it easier to arrive back to drop off car rental and board flight.

AC broke in the den and AC in bedroom would not stay on. TV in bedroom did not work. Room was nice and clean but the property need work.

Was assigned to room 123 to start the trip and once in room I used the bathroom and the toilet wouldnt stop running with water and was scared room was going to flood. Called the front and they reassigned me to room 112. Since it was over 90 degrees there I tried to put on the AC which did not work. I called maintenance multiple times and a tech came with batteries only realizing the thermostat was hard wired. The tech told me he couldnt fix the issue and and Engineer would be by later. After waiting a few hours and no one showed up we canceled the request as we did not want anyone in the room while we were gone. Needless to say we did not sleep well since it was so hot. Definitely wont stay there again.

The room was clean. It was when I arrived the lady said I had to pay for parking which I didn’t see when I booked. I never had to pay for parking whenever I stayed at a hotel. No breakfast was served. The shuttle was a hot mess. i had to lid my own luggage.

Convenient location near the airport. But, few restaurants nearby. Good coffee in lobby in the morning. Multiple elevators located in different spots in the hotel. Rooms were quiet. Could not hear neighbors or people above us. And the hotel was busy. The fan/ac was difficult to get set to constant. I had the temp set to 67 and the room was hot. Had to get up several times during the night to get the fan to turn on. There was no water in the lobby women's restroom. This seems like a health violation. The front desk staff knew about the problem and it seemed like it had been an issue for a while. The ice maker on our floor was running but not producing ice. Seems like management wasn't interested in properly maintaining the property.

Property was good overall. Checking in was excellent. Staff was very efficient and helpful. Room airconditioning was somewhat noisy and there were some strange loud noises outside of our room late in the evening. Noises stopped after a while and we did get a good nights sleep. When we first got into the room there was no signal on the TV. I had to find and plug in the HDMI cable that for some reason was unplugged from the back of the TV. TV worked fine after resolving the connection issue. Best thing about the room was the shower. That was the best shower head and water pressure that we ever experienced in any hotel stay ever!!!

Our room seemed to not have been rented out in a long time, alarm clock still had old daylight savings time on it, from springtime! Our corner room was quiet, I don’t think many occupants rented rooms on 4th floor during our 3 night weekend stay.

The manger was able to resolve the issue by assigning a different room, which by the way was the room pictured on the web that I reserved. Hotel is very old. Carpet is dirty. Arrived for quick stay before flying out in the morning & staff were very accommodating with my room request. Room was clean. Area had options for food & proximity to airport were good as well as shuttle service :)

Our stay was great. It has been a long day of travel we were very tired. The hotel was just what we needed. We arrived very late at night and the person checking us on was super helpful and didn't act bothered by the late hour. We even had to move to a different room because of the air conditioning and she came up to our room and brought us a new key so as not to inconvenience us.

Our stay was a comfortable one. The staff were friendly and helpful! Super easy check-in and check-out. The pillow top mattress was very comfortable. I am disabled and we chose an accessible room with a bench in the shower. Other than the shower hose leaking, it was nice to have the bench for bathing. It was quiet and the air conditioning was nice and cool. My only criticism was the parking. There aren't many places to park for handicapped parking. Luckily I have an electric wheelchair, but would think someone who walks with a cane would have some difficulty walking into the front of the hotel. Everything else about our stay was wonderful! We will definitely try to get a room here the next time we're in Cary. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The bedroom trash was not taken out because we overlooked the bin said recycle. There were no breakfast options on weekends besides vending machine type foods. We asked the front desk to have a change of towels and washcloths. The dirty wash clothes was left behind and they didnt bring back enough clean linen.
