We have never stayed at this brand before and we will stay again. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, the room was great! We got a 2 bedroom mini condo style room and it was perfect for our family of 5 for our weekend away.
- 4/5
It also seems that fixing a main door access should have been resolved over the nine days we were there. Again, it is the welcoming staff that keeps us coming back.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay. friendly staff and a decent breakfast selection. The only drawbacks was the high incidentals deposit and a noticeable, unpleasant odor in the hallways. Also, that room clean-ups and fresh towels aren't done daily by default, so you have to explicitly ask the staff for them. Despite those minor issues, it was a very positive experience and I would definitely stay here again!

Later that evening, I called the front desk because I was concerned about the safety of myself and my children. We even placed a chair against our door for extra security. Unfortunately, I felt rushed off the phone, and we spent the entire night worried about our safety. The next morning, my daughter and I went to the front desk because we were unsure how we would get back into the building. The door had been closed, but the key-entry system was still not working. The front desk manager seemed confused about which building we were referring to and simply handed us a map rather than addressing the issue. To add insult to injury, after I finally got back inside, an employee stopped me in the hallway and asked me to verify which room I was staying in. While I understand the need for security, the interaction was handled in a very unprofessional manner. I paid for a suite but was treated as though I was staying at a poorly managed property. Guest safety should be a top priority. If a lock or key-entry system is broken, management should take immediate action to repair it so guests can feel safe and secure during their stay.

Room was clean but had a very strong musty smell.
- 5/5
First room also included a hair dryer. Second room, did not and one was requested from the front desk. Unfortunately it was delivered to the wrong door.
- 3/5
Pet friendly. But, they will ask why you have a service dog. HIPPA violation They charged me for a service dog because it did not have a paper or a vest. Ridiculous.
- 4/5
Enjoyed stay! I only needed an extra pillow to be extra comfortable
- 4/5
Convenient to the airport, friendly reception and comfortable, clean facilities Too much use of disposable cutlery and plates at breakfast, noisy air conditioning

Very nice, close to airport, shuttle service, very clean suite. Loved the 3 separate TV’s, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and full kitchen. Very comfortable. The elevator failed to work.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't stay here again, which sucks because the option of a 2-bedroom suite at a decent price is not easy to come by. The hotel grounds were fine, the lady checking us in was "okay". She was very short and just didn't seem to want to be there, but she did her job. A smell of weed was outfront the entire time, but inside the buildings was fine. No off or bad smells in hallways or room. The design and functionality of the room were good with one GIANT exception (and why I can't stay again). The bed was poured by the local concrete company. I expect hotel beds to be on the firmer side, but this was horrendous. I was actually angry btw the sun came up and I was just praying for it to hurry up and rise so I could get up. Other than that, the room just had a feeling of potential that just wasn't filled. The layout and function were there but the details were just passed over. Like, the remote back cover was broken and screwed on partially. The locked down soaps in the shower seemed to be refilled with water to stretch their usage. The silverware was not replaced. There were a pile of knives but only 1 fork and 1 spoon. The fireplace wouldn't light, etc. It just felt like a nice hotel that needed better management and less neglect on the little things. Again, I could overlook all of that if not for the bed. I felt like I should have called the police in the remorning to report an assault after getting out of that thing.

A great property with AMAZING desk staff personnel!!! Keisha was super helpful during checking (we had a complicated booking). And my niece got in later while we were out. Angela (Manager) was rightfully cautious about giving out a key to someone but she came up with a solution that was “out of the box” and above and beyond in order to accommodate our unique needs. OUTSTANDING ATTENTION TO THE NEEDA OF THEIR GUESTS!!!!!

The room was very clean, beautiful, and comfortable. The reception staff was not very helpful. The elevator was not working, and since we were on the second floor, carrying eight suitcases upstairs was very difficult. No help or alternative options were offered.

There was an issue with the toilet that never got resolved. Had to call customer service twice as water was moving slowly and flush the toilet multiple times and still it did not clear. Once they fixed and again issue happened in the morning. Breakfast was reasonable but it Could have offered hot oatmeal instead package of oatmeal.

the staff was absolutely so caring and so amazing. They were so helpful and I looked forward to seeing them in the morning at breakfast :). Staff very friendly.
- 5/5
The employees at the front desk, especially the assistant manager, were all so helpful and kind when my group and I checked in! We had booked three rooms and the staff were able to place all rooms near each other. Each room was very clean and spacious. I personally loved the setup of my suite that had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. I was here for a dance competition and will absolutely book this hotel again for next year’s competition.
- 4/5
The room was very nicely laid out and it was one of the most comfortable hotel beds that I've stayed in. It's rare I say I wish I could have spent more time in my room but it was that comfortable! The hotel had a nice hot breakfast spread out each morning. My only complaint was that the front desk was not manned well during the breakfast hours so if you wanted to check out in the morning, it took about a ten minute wait for that to happen so plan accordingly. Overall, it was convenient drive to the airport and several restaurants were close-by. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great spot. Would be lovely for a longer stay. We were upgraded to a 2 room unit due to the elevator being out. Unfortunatly i had a heart attack in september and being in the 3rd floor was a bit much. However, all of the staff we interacted with were lovely.

Ac unit wasn’t working for first 2 days before they fixed it. Not enough light in room. They told us that they clean room once a week only. Their main counter and breakfast area is very nice but their stay buildings are not. Be aware that reception building is not where you will stay so online photos are misleading.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. General Manager Angela Smith and her staff are professional, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. From check-in to check-out, the service was friendly and efficient, and the property was clean and comfortable. It’s clear the team takes pride in making guests feel at home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The room was clean and warm. The breakfast was hot and delicious. The best part was the staff. They were very friendly. They also went out of their way to help us get food after a late flight into Raleigh after a snow storm. We will definitely stay here again. We would highly recommend them.

Larger room than I expected and very clean. Enjoyed it very much. I regret being on a business trip that only allowed me to stay for one night. Next time I have a trip to Raleigh I will stay there again.

Can’t say enough! The hotel is more than you could ever need. Full kitchen, private bedroom/bathroom, while also providing an incredibly full breakfast buffet daily! Extended stay- or just for the night (we went for 2)- you won’t be disappointed! The staff was the icing on the cake- very accommodating and helpful! Thank you for a perfect stay!

Really nice property and excellent customer service. Kitchen was well stocked and even though it’s close to the airport it was really quiet.

This Sonesta ES in Morrisville near RDU was probably the nicest 2 week stay I have ever had in a motel. The room was so clean. Having a separate bedroom with a 55" TV in the bedroom and another in the living room was so nice. The full size refrigerator was great. The hot breakfast was always nicely prepared and the women who ran that always replenished the food and kept the coffee full. The night I got there (after midnight) I was frazzled with a lot of luggage as I am staying in the area for several months. The desk staff were so welcoming and friendly - one of the ladies even took my luggage to my room, which I don't think is normal service. It was nice having coin operated washers and dryers available. All requests I had, like an extra blanket and extra waste basket were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The area felt very safe, as sometimes I got in quite late. I only had access to a car part time and there are no grocery stores in walking distance, but a Wendy's only a block away was convenient. I really can't say enough good things about the staff and the cleanliness. I would 100 percent stay again and recommend to others.

The breakfast was well served... The rooms were very quiet and serene... very clean too.

There was no soap in the shower. Or, in the bathroom, anywhere. When I went to the front desk to ask for soap, while my husband was IN the shower, they didn't have any shower gel. We did get a bar of soap. Also, when we checking out, there wasn't anyone at the front desk and the door didn't open with my room key. I rang the bell about fifteen times and there wasn't a response. The staff whom we met seemed cool, but the rest, not great

What an amazing week at Sonesta ES Suites in Morrisville North Carolina. I was honestly surprised by the hospitality and the cleanliness of my suite. Complimentary restaurant style breakfast, outside family sitting areas and * Free Parking * was my favorite amenities. I thought the Sonesta in Houston was the best one; N.C. outdone Houston thus far.
- 5/5
The room was clean and felt safe. The staff and manager were very helpful and kind. Even when I worked late and came in at 1am they gave great hospitality. I will be coming back next year!

The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The location was easy to get to off the highway. Very well stocked and great iron and ironing board. Great soaps and choice of tv shows and movies. Will definitely try and stay in other locations if available. And great breakfast choices too.

- 5/5
The staff was very intent on making sure we were happy with the room, whi h we were.

There was a lady at the front desk that welcomed us. She gave us two rooms right across from each other. She provided excellent customer service and even wished me a happy birthday. I will definitely be staying here again!
- 4/5
Overall decent hotel for the price. A few minor details… hairdryer didn’t work, only one fork in kitchenette, no soap in room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Good suites
- 5/5
The room was clean and easy to get to from the entrance.
- 5/5
Loved that it was close to the airport! We got the 2 bedroom unit and it worked perfectly to give us each our own space. Hot coffee super early! Even had almond milk readily available.
- 5/5
Just love this place
- 3/5
Room was not ready at check in. Plumbing and electrical issues in our room. Maintenance did not respond to our first request to fix electrical issue. Not enough staff at front desk during checkin.
- 3/5
When we checked in, the room was very clean. But during our six-day stay, no one came to clean us. We returned the towels ourselves and got new ones. Overall, the staff was friendly.
- 4/5
It was a good property to stay at.
- 5/5
The property was very clean. Loved the pool. Very quiet and peaceful.
- 5/5
Super kind, thoughtful, and welcoming staff. Wonderful experience! Will stay here again. Thank you!
- 5/5
Shuttle was great!
- 5/5
Great property and the front desk team is one of the best I have ever experienced. Anita and Mindy were so kind and friendly. I was in North Carolina for an interview with a local solid waste company and they were so helpful to get me a room early to prepare, spoke very highly about the Carolinas and were so polite and friendly. Anita and Mindy told me I would get the job since they felt I was a good people person too, and they were correct! I got the job and will be moving to North Carolina soon. Thanks Anita and Mindy! The room was excellent too and it was super clean and upscale. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Sonesta team for making me experience at the hotel excellent.
- 4/5
For some strange reason they don’t supply dish soap or shower gel and file out dishwasher tabs 1 at a time. Otherwise it was an acceptable unit.
- 4/5
Our stay was great but I hope the service and cleanliness was a little better.
- 5/5
Everything was clean well kept up front desk was friendly.
- 5/5
The women at the front desk were amazing.
- 5/5
First time staying at Sonesta ES. Rooms were very spacious and very clean. Front counter staff were very friendly.
- 5/5
It was like home away from home. Very cozy and inviting.
- 5/5
Staff at the front desk were super nice and helpful. The elevators are currently down but that resulted in a lowered deposit, and they even had a staff member bring my luggage up for me. Nice room that served the purpose I booked for. Close to the airport and my two jobs so it was very convenient. My one complaint is that when I checked in some toiletries like the hand soap and body wash were not filled, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall satisfying stay!
- 5/5
We took this trip with almost no notice due to a family emergency. When we arrived, we weren't thinking straight, we were exhausted, & scared. I barely even remember checking in, but I remember being helped by a lovely woman at the front desk, & I remember her telling me not to worry, that she'd tell me everything again in the morning. During our entire stay, the staff, especially Angela & Effie, treated us like their own. We truly felt like we were staying with family. When our loved one passed away, they wept with us & held us close. A hotel is a hotel is a hotel. This is a home away from home. We felt welcome. We felt safe. We felt loved. There is no way we can ever thank you enough for your kindness. It meant the world to us, & will never forget you.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, very helpful & willing to assist at every moment
- 5/5
Very Close to the airport. Just what I needed for my time in the area.
- 5/5
The room was everything we needed it to be. The staff was gracious and very friendly. Will definitely be staying here again.
- 5/5
One night stay was perfect by the airport as our flights got in late.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, spacious room, quiet pool area.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful.

Not a Marriott! Checked in and room had no soap whatsoever; no hand soap, no dish soap and no body wash. Went to the front and was offered a small bar of hand soap. Small, curly hairs on shampoo dispenser, gross! Next day, went to front to ask for soap again. Hotel doesn’t provide dish soap with full kitchen? Pet area was very dark at night, was completely out of poop bags and garbage was overflowing for three days; paid $75 pet fee, but not sure why. Insect in room, missing bedding for sofa bed, and cheap shampoo and conditioner. My hair was dry and brittle after three days. Would not stay again.
- 1/5
Elevator was broken Pool was closed No house keeping services I want my money back
- 4/5
The room was a great size for the price. The hotel was conveniently located near the airport and the airport shuttle was available. Please be aware that this is an extended stay property and there were definitely some people that seem to be very settled in. Housekeeping only services rooms once a week. The hand soap and body soap dispensers were both totally empty in my room - that left me wondering when the last time it had been cleaned or checked. That being said, I felt safe there - the bed was extremely comfortable and the property was quiet and well lit. There is nothing within easy walking distance other than other hotels and a hooters, but there are good amenities a short ride away
- 5/5
I enjoyed the room amenities. I had a 2 Br suite. Very accommodating! This NY girl I would stay again in a heart beat.
- 4/5
This place has wonderful customer service. Angela, in particular, was amazing. So friendly and helpful. The rooms are very pretty. And, are comfortable. I would come back again in the future. Thank you, Angela!
- 5/5
2-burner electric stove, and microwave. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. 2 large screen TV’s, one in the bedroom and one in the living room area. Quiet air conditioner. Good breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon, yogurt, cereals, and bagels. OJ, apple juice, coffee, tea… Very satisfied with my stay and would not hesitate to stay again.

I did not stay at this hotel due to a flight cancellation that prevented me from arriving in Raleigh/ Durham on the days that I had a reservation for. I attempted to cancel, and was charged for one day anyway. I would like to be reimbursed for the second day as I was unable to be there due to the airline cancelling my flight.
- 5/5
We stayed at Sonesta ES Suites Raleigh Durham Airport Morrisville the night before dropping our son off at college, and the manager’s kindness and attention made all the difference. When the pull-out couch mattress in our first room was too warped for our son to sleep comfortably, the manager personally dragged in a spare mattress so he could rest well. The very next day, as soon as another room became available, they moved us so our son could have an even better night’s sleep before the big day.
- 5/5
Near to RDU, nice rooms, breakfast
- 2/5
Room smelled musty and the elevators didn’t work. The only redeeming quality was that our front desk person took us to the airport but that is because the shuttle forgot to show up.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer! I especially loved the fully equipped kitchen and all the space! We highly recommend!
- 3/5
Grouped with a bunch of old and tired cheap hotels near RDU. Except for its proximity to RDU for 6 am flights, there’s absolutely nothing to recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel! It was great for our kids and dogs! Breakfast was good! Only 7 mins from the airport. Highly recommend!
- 4/5
Nice spot to be at
- 4/5
The reception and check-in staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming. They did the job; but the hospitality was missing. Perhaps additional training on the importance of professionalism and hospitality is needed.
- 5/5
This was the first time we stayed at this hotel and it was absolutely amazing from check in to check out. The room was clean and specious.
- 5/5
Room was specious, clean and comfortable. Up to date property. Breakfast was decent but you need to wait for coffee for more than 10 mins to be replaced. Breakfast lady did not wanna replace the pancake batter although there was still 20 mins before breakfast ending time. Small things but could be improved. Generally great stay and value for the money.
- 5/5
Very grateful to get a later 1PM check out that we very much appreciated. Our room was right by the courtyard/pool on the first level and was very serene. Nice stay.
- 4/5
The room was super clean and up to date! The bed was comfy. The only downside was that the elevator in my building was out of service so I had to walk up 3 flights each time. There seemed to be a good amount of breakfast options but they ran out of food and I was pressed for time so I couldn’t wait for them to replenish.
- 5/5
Amazing stay, only issue is you hear the upstairs people. Other then that the whole stay was great!
- 3/5
It took us till 9:30 at night to get frying oans that weree suppose to be provided. The plugs in the kitchen didnt work unless thwy were reset. The pool was aweful Hot not refreshing at all. Was not told about a 250 depotsit by hotels.com. The place was clean other wise and thw beds were comfortable.

Rooms were very clean, and bed was comfortable!

What a nice clean place with a wonderful staff. Made us feel like we have been coming here for years. Great price too.
- 5/5
I did not like the fact that I had to park on the side of the building in order to enter my room. Lighting is not good and there are a lot of trees. It was late and I was by myself, as a female, I did not feel safe. I got out of my car when when I saw another family preparing to go inside. To be fair the clerk did tell me that i could go through the pavilion to get to my room, it was just as dark. I loved everything else!
- 5/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. Property and rooms a tad dated but clean and really nice for a family.
- 4/5
Overall the stay wasn’t too bad but house keeping could’ve been a bit better I had to go to the desk to get towels not a big deal. Breakfast was good pool was clean staff was nice. Even the fitness facility was good to use. Only a Wendy’s in the area that is walking distance but I would stay again. 4 out of 5 for me.

Staff was friendly the rooms were clean and updated, beds comfortable and breakfast was good. Great quiet place to stay. We will definitely be back.

The hotel was not bad. The only issue was a person who claimed to be the manager. Very disrespectful. Will never stay there again

The front desk staff at my location needed to be a bit more friendly, with more personality. Couldn't find anyone to check me out at 5 am. Other than that, it was a great hotel stay, at a great location.

Got to location and waited hour after time to check in. Was told rooms reserved werent ready or cleaned. Once got room the room was still dirty with dishes and bathroom was not cleaned. After almost 2 hours from initial check in they gave another room. Was on time constraint as we were attending concert

Tried to sit outside pool area where you are more than 25 foot from entrances and manager told us we could not smoke there even though there was no sign posted at pool or near grill. Did not offer a smokers area or ashtray around building. Not very friendly management in my opinion.
