Holiday Inn Express & Suites Morrilton by IHG

The staff I spoke to at check in and out were very nice. Breakfast was good and fresh. Pool was closed "temporarily".. We stayed in room #305, the room was clean. However, it was VERY moist/humid and smelled moist/humid. I walked barefoot on the carpet and it felt moist as well.. The bathroom door would not shut completely without being pulled forcefully. When showering the bathtub plug would not stay raised without tilting it abnormally.. which had to be done so that the water could drain. The AC was cold. Overall, this hotel wasnt terrible for only staying 1 night. However, if we were to have booked for a longer stay I would have requested a new room that didnt feel as "wet" or we would have gone somewhere else.

I like that it was clean and this death was friendly what I didn't like was I didn't have waffles for breakfast and my curtain in my room wouldn't go up to get daylight in but other than all that it was really nice

The location was close to the highway, but we did not hear the highway noise. There is a Sonic next door. Breakfast was the usual fair and was good.

The only thing is they only have one room with a stand up shower and it is under maintenance. All the other rooms have tubs

Room was great, service was even better! Our car died on us when we were leaving, and the staff was super helpful! They did all they could to help us out, were so caring and friendly. Excellent service from front desk and maintenance who all tried to help us out. This is rare! Thank you!

Bathroom is wired in a way that when you turn the light on you also turn on the exhaust fan (which was very loud and annoying). A second switch which I assume was supposed to just turn only the light on didn’t work at all.

The breakfast was nothing like it showed in the pictures. No sausage or bacon. No pancake station or fresh fruit. They need to do a better job of cleaning the bathtub under the shampoo/conditioner dispenser. It was VERY slippery in that area

The room was damp and humid and smelled. The floors were dirty all over the hotel. Housekeeping took the dirty towels but didn’t replenish them.

Amazing

Breakfast and location ok. I was ripped off and am still upset. I was charged for 2 rooms when my wife and I only had 1 room. We were also charged for 2 people in the second mystery room. I questioned the desk clerk upon check out and was told that the situation would be looked into and corrected. I am still waiting for this correction to take place. My wife and I have stayed in Holiday Inn Express locations many times over the years and have never experienced a situation like this one.

Location, staff. 1st room smelled, A/C didn't work. Staff very accommodating found us a different room. Overall A/C down in hotel during stay. Pool was supposed to be heated, heat didn't work in the pool, and there were mosquitos everywhere in pool room. Lastly, held $25 for incidentals, 2 rooms so still waiting on release of $50 4 weeks after stay.

Very clean and comfortable. Staff confused our reservation and I was charged a no show even though we were clearly there. They corrected it when I complained.

The hotel was nice. Under construction which was not something we were told about. The room was nice. The bed was too soft for me. The pillows were also too soft. The breakfast ran out of food because the employee came in an hour late.

Clean, well maintained. Comfortable bed. Fridge, microwave, keurig including tea options Check in staff didn’t process my reservation property causing a mistake in charging me for a no show. They corrected it after I brought it to their attention.

Doors stuck. Property being renovated. They shut off the elevator with no notice. I am disabled and had to carry everything down the stairs. When I complained, was told to bad. I will NEVER stay at an IHG hotel ever again. Will be contacting IHG to find out if this is their policy.

It was very clean. I liked that there were two chairs in our room and s lot of counter space to put things. The breakfast was good and the comfort of the bed was amazing! The only thing I didnt like was that when you turned on the light in the bathroom an extremely loud fan came on. I dont know if it was suppose to be that way or it was faulty, but it was very annoying.

Staff were very friendly. Hotel is clean and up to date. Breakfast was decent and consisted of eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls, cereal, oatmeal, and yogurt.

Room was excellent and genuinely clean. Lights were on and cnn was turned on on the tv .nic touch.

I am simple so I don’t really care for much as long as the place is clean and the bed is comfortable. It rained and I like to workout so outside wasn’t much of an option. They have a pool which far outweighs the negative of the weight room not having a bench, but adding one small bench that could be folded for flat bench up to shoulder presses would make the fitness room so much better.

Breakfast was only average for a motel breakfast. Orange juice was watered down.

Overall i am happy with my weekend stay. The rooms were clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was always hot and fresh. My only complaints would be that the exhaust fan in the bathroom didnt work and the tub didnt drain well.

They had a bad storm a few days before we git tgere n the key card machine was still broke ,but the kind gentleman let us in our room as many times as we needed without an attitude .He was the kindest person overall.We always stay here when we come to town or passing thur.Highly recommend.

Trash in the trash can in the bathroom and a wet wash cloth on the bathroom counter when I arrived. I would say it was not at the expectation of every other holiday inn I’ve stayed at.

Shower was hard to figure out how overhead turned on. Big crack in shower wall. Check in person was not very friendly. Strange unpleasant odor on the 2nd floor.

We had a great stay!

They were doing a renovation and it was a bit messy in the elevator. We were unable to use our tv in the room, so we were moved to another room. Given 2 complimentary bottles of water for going from king bed to 2 queen beds. Water never got hot in shower, slightly warm. Milk at breakfast was spoiled. Employee was very kind. Very disappointing.

I was disappointed that there was no Bible in the room.

I’ve stayed here 6 different times. I’d say it’s in worse condition than most holiday inns. Just this last visit in Oct 2024, the room had a bit of a BO smell and it seemed they tried to cover it by overloading the room with air freshener. Two of the six stays I was put in rooms that had warped doors and you almost need a battering ram to open them. The staff has been good each time I was there. I’d stay again since the only other option is a super 8

Massive construction taking place in their lobby and exterior and entrance - way too much unfinished areas and lots of noise.

The pool was closed and that was a disappointment to the grand children. There was no microwave, so the butter would not melt on the biscuits. Otherwise it was great.

Check in was typical gentleman working at the front desk seem like he didn’t really care we showed up hotel was going under some remodeling but still could tell it had a lot more to go. Most of the decorative lights in the hallway were burned out and it looked like all the lampshades in my room went 12 rounds with Mike Tyson bed was comfortable room was clean I feel like maintenance needs to step up their game. Stay on top of the small things which people actually pay attention to.

The hotel is under renovation and needs it. The staff are great (thanks, Rachel!) and the location clean. The only downside really was the snotty carpet contractor who decided to cut the new carpet in the driveway right in front of the door and gave me attitude when I asked how I was supposed to pick up my disabled family member. He was a jerk.

The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the front door. Also, in spite of the remodeling efforts going on throughout the property, our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet.

Ratty hotel with minimal standarfs

The morning crew were friendly and fast. For breakfast food was hot and ready. The evening shift were clear concise and helpful. The manager went about and beyond to make our stay complete. Will 10/10 recommend and will 10/10 return to such great business.

Tub had broken parts, was not as nice of a room for 240$ for 2 nights, trash was full for a two day stay no making the beds or clean towels each day! No coffee in the room!

The AC did not work the first night. I had spoke to the desk about it first thing she said she would send someone at nine. We were there for a wedding, so we were not at the hotel all day, but when we got back after the wedding. It was still not working the next night.

Needs refurbishing

Overall, the property was ok at best. Definitely not worth $150/night. We stayed for 3 nights. The room smelled moldy when we first arrived. It took a day and almost a full can of spray to hide the smell. Then there was breakfast. They re-served the same food 3 days in a row. When I say re-served, I literally mean re-warmed the same food from the previous 2 days. The same burned eggs were served for 3 days. You could tell the eggs were being refrigerated and re-warmed each day because they got drier and drier each day. The eggs were burned in the same spot every day and the guests avoided eating the burned eggs and the hotel staff refused to throw them out. The sausage was also re-warmed 3 days in a row when it was not all eaten. The sausage got more and more dried out each day with the re-warming, and the same pieces that people didn't want or eat would mysteriously show up again the next day. The Orange Juice was thick, spoiled, and fermented. The Cinnamon Rolls were hard as a rock, and they were put out over and over each day even though they were beyond needing to be thrown out. This has got to be some type of health code violation...

Our stay here was such a pleasure. The hotel was very clean and the staff were super amazing. Loved the water pressure in the shower was fabulous!! Comfortable linens made for a good night's rest. Would definitely stay again or tell a friend to stay here.

It was only an overnight stay. Pleasant enough place for that. Standard breakfast fare. But there was a slight smell in different areas that made me think of mildew that was almost dried and cleared up. It wasn’t bad at all.

Close to highway, friendly workers, clean and comfortable rooms

The room we were in appeared to be clean. However, it had a bad odor to it. The property appeared to be undergoing some renovations so hopefully all the rooms will be refreshed and upgraded.

It was easy to find and close to restaurants and grocery stores. It was quiet and clean. The front desk employee was extremely helpful and always courteous. Nice place would stay there again.

Let hall kids run all over the place. Room smelled musty and ac was bad and room was very humid and sticky. They have gone down since last year when we were there.

The rooms were comfortable in day one, but the the next day we expected the room to be cleaned, but it was not. I called the front desk and I was told that they no longer clean rooms or make beds. Also, there wasn't any soap in the dispenser in the shower.

Had a stop here on a longer trip. Right off interstate. Great location, close to several places to eat.

Wonderful place to stay. Easy access from freeway. Lots of restaurant choices within a short distance.

Location was ideal

Lots of police in the evening time. Fire alarm went off every morning at 630am was so annoying.

Also, the shower curtains are too short. This will lead to water damage if the hotel doesnt fix this.

The breakfast starts like at 7am to 10AM if you got there after 9AM there was not much left. Bathrooms fan ran when lights were on did not turn on or off without lights. Varry noise at 2am.

The shower in our room was in poor condition we stay at holiday Inns when we travel this shower is enough to stop people from comming back we have stayed at this location before and were in fulton ms. HI. The night before no issues. Ok thank you mark dansereau
