SureStay by Best Western Morgan Hill

The location of the hotel was right across the street from the sports complex for a soccer tournament. The parking was included in our hotel rate. We had a room with 2 king beds. The shower was bad. There was obvious water damage behind the mixing valve & tiles. The repair job was awful. The tub was dirty. There were scuff marks on the walls in the room. The breakfast wasn't that great. The pool was dirty and cold. There was no hot tub. The grass area looked neglected.

Clerk seemed to have attitude, not sure if it was due to language barrier. And then there was a guy waiting there for the clerk in the morning when we’re getting breakfast. Just seemed a little unprofessional on the management portion. Just expecting better hospitality.

Everything was perfect! Hotel is very clean and cozy. It is renowned with very stylish design. Receptionist Jay provided exceptional service from check in / check out to breakfast serving! He was very polite and friendly. It was a great stay in SureStay, we definitely will cone back !

It was nice to have 2 kind beds instead of talking n usual queen size. The shower was also nice. The floor was dirty and the staff at check in was so incredibly rude and slow. The breakfast was disappointing as well.

The property and rooms are well kept. Everything was very clean. The bathrooms are spacious and well equipped with amenities. The shower was great so much space and very elegant. The coffee machine is wonderful you can pick from a variety of choices. I would definitely come back.

For the price, not impressed. Looked like an unqualified person tried to do some upgrades and stopped halfway through. Felt dirty and thrown together. Would not stay here again.

We stayed here for a soccer tournament. The room was clean, AC worked and the kids all enjoyed the large backyard and even swam in the pool, in February! Location was perfect. Will stay again next year

Requested more towels and never received them. Also ice machine wasn’t working. Requested ice and no one ever got back to me. Sheets had hairs in them.

Slowly updating, good location for what we needed.

This was used for a soccer tournament, great location walking distance to the field. The room was big and had all we needed for a long weekend. The beds were big making it ideal for bigger kids. They offer some breakfast items every morning.

Was charge for a deposit, and never got it back. Room was not that great and a lot of noise.. also left room perfectly not sure they don’t reply or return my deposit

The first room they gave me was not prepared. Sheets and blankets were laying on the mattress, I didn’t bother checking the rest. In the room they gave me, the A/C unit was labeled “Unit operated by wall thermostat.” There was no wall thermostat, I got it to work but still. I won’t be staying there again.

Nice property, getting renovated but towels were half very bad and steined, breakfast was ok. Foe thw price it was ok but def nit a 5 star

Went for a getaway with a Jacuzzi suite checked in late due to traveling. Went to go hop in the Jacuzzi and soak my bones. and it only had cold water. Total buzz kill packed up and left two hours into my stay

place was falling apart. dirty. i'm pretty sure the complimentary breakfast is what gave me food poisoning. not accommodating.

Pros: the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Cons: freeway noise on the back side is very loud. No conditioner in the shower. Dining area only had 4 tables so we had to eat breakfast in the lobby. The breakfast options were minimal.

Not real heathy but tasty

We stayed 2 nights because of a soccer tournament across the street, and it was really nice to just grab our chairs and wagon, and walk directly across the street to get to the fields. The room was on the smaller size, but that was not a problem. Memory foam king size bed, pull out bed, and hardwood floors (bye bye carpet). The breakfast was really good. Small room, but not hard to make your way in and build yourself a plate. Pancakes, Biscuits and Gravy, Sausage links, eggs, cereal, pastries, bagels, bread, coffee and juices.

The breakfast was okay for permade food,Only problem we had was with the tv remote,it didnot work and called front desk and person explianed that would a repair person up in 10 mins,no show and called again was told they were hung up and will be another 10 min after waiting wnt downstair and tried find out how much longer,She really did not know.Finally someone showed and fix our problem,expliianed the the person they need more infromation on these T V s,the main problem was the remote was not programmed for the tvThis took almost 1 hour.I was not happy.

There was a frog in a bathtub. Everything else was ok but the bathroom was old and needs updating. I wouldn’t stay here ever again.

This is an old hotel that they're trying to bring back. As you walk thru you can see remnants of construction materials and old empty vending machines. However, it should be said that they are trying to update it. Our room was clean and comfortable, which was all we were looking for at the time. A little more TLC and landscaping improvements are needed. But it does the job to have a place to rest for the night.

Sheets were stained as well as comforter. Hot water lasted a few minutes then disappeared.

Overall, it was a great experience! The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were modern and up-to-date. The only drawbacks were that our neighbors were a bit loud and the breakfast options were limited. However, given the affordable price point, I didn't expect much more. I'd rate it 8 out of 10.

It's a nice and cozy place: Very convenient for our commute for the swim meet. Breakfast is good and tasty, our kids like it. Only improvement if they can manage the tv because the remote isn't compatible so we cannot change the channels.

Everything was great! Excellent staff, clean, comfortable room, and a breakfast that included scrambled eggs and sausage.

There was almost no staff (even to check out). No internet or tv signal in rooms. However the room itself was acceptable, clean and comfortable. The facilities outside the room were not well maintained.

The bed was ok. Rest of room was old, dirty particularly the bathroom. Almost too yucky to even take a shower. For the price it was very run down and dirty. No staff around early in am. Would not recommend.

management. The only downside was the road noise, twin size pillows on king size bed and small tv with not a lot of movie channels included. Just small items wouldn’t keep me from staying again.

Good size beds and updated rooms unfortunately the outlets by the beds were not working but the outlets by tv worked and the water temparature were switched cold on hot. The free breakfast was nice, my daughter enjoyed cereal, yogurt and juice. Staff were friendly.

I stayed at the SureStay by Best Western in Morgan Hill and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. While the rooms appeared to be partially remodeled, they were far from finished. There were holes in the headboards where outlets or lights should have been, which made the space feel incomplete and poorly maintained. Although I booked a non-smoking room, the smell of marijuana was strong and constant throughout the room, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. The worst part of the stay happened around 4 a.m., when the neighboring room began blasting music so loudly that it woke us up. Eventually, the police were called, and the situation escalated into officers banging on the door for nearly 20 minutes, loudly threatening to break it down. It was stressful, unsettling, and far from restful. Overall, this was not a fun or relaxing experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

Best place to stay in Morgan Hill. Amazing new rooms and amenities. Nice design choices.

I was very pleased with the room.

It was a charming location with newly upgraded amenities that made the stay comfortable. It is also close to the 101 freeway which is convenient if you wanted to rest while traveling outside of a major city.

I heard a lot of bad things about this hotel but thought it was just one night. Front desk checkin was not very professional. Had language barrier. Front desk next day was better. Room was clean enough. Decent price. Don't count on breakfast and don't stare at strangers. I did not feel good with the deposit. Other than that, it was okay for one night. Right across from the soccer field. So, very convenient.

The hotel seems to be in the middle of renovation i don’t mind that but the room I got had too many problems, outlets not working, shower didn’t work, tv wasn’t working, the beds and bathroom looked nice but all the electrical problems basically no shower, for me is a no go, but if you only need to go and sleep thats acceptable i guess

misrepresentation. No TV, no Internet no phone no maid service no towel service no breakfast I got screamed at several times they refused to give me paperwork when I go back to the office after check-in, I discovered they have health violations, not cool

I believe all the rooms including bathrooms have been recently remodeled and the furniture and bathroom fixtures are all nice. The king size bed is comfortable. The ad on Expedia states breakfast included but due to renovations that was not available. The price was low so having to get breakfast was I’d recommend this hotel

Netflix didn’t work and there was no basic cable or satellite tv.
