Courtyard by Marriott San Jose South/Morgan Hill

We have stayed here multiple times for various events. The hotel staff is always friendly. The hotel is quiet, clean, and the bed are comfortable. I only wish the mirror over the sink had a better lighting but other than that, it's a nice hotel.

The room was very clean and the view from our room was amazing. I always make sure to book a room here because the staff and the service is always above and beyond. Makes me wanna come back to it everytime I’m traveling up here :D

Nice place. Beds are pretty comfortable. Room has refrigerator and microwave. We got the room with the balcony so that was nice to have some fresh air and sit on the balcony for a little bit. Didn’t try the food so I don’t know about that but stayed here several days. TV is OK you can sign into your streaming which is a plus.

Everyone slept so well. We wondered what mattresses you have, because we slept better than at home. The sink area was too small. It was difficult trying to get ready at the same time. We had to staggar our times to accomodate the small space.

Everyone is very nice and helpful. Just not happy with the room it stink so bad and it was a combination of pee and pinesol maybe. Not sure, the outlets did not work but one. They were able to accommodate me in another room which was a little bit better. Hotel overall is outdated and carpet is old. Restrooms too. Hotel desperately needs improvements, but staff was great!

The hotel was in good condition, ample ammenities and the desk staff were courteous and helpful. The rooms are a little cramped and the bed was very soft. Overall good value

Checking in was easy. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. The staff was nice. You can use your own sites like Netflix or YouTube on the TV. Would definitely come again.

Good location Well my door lock was not working correctly ask the front desk because the house cleaning had a hard time getting the room as well. . The man at the desk was to busy to hear me kind of said ok and went on to work on his computer. Was there a week and no house cleaning . I took out the trash and clean up myself. Got a hold of house keeping and got clean fresh towels. The lach was hitting the door so we had to struggle to get the door open.

The staff and rooms are great. Only gave them 3 stars for the condition because the elevator wasn’t working and I was on the 3rd floor so that does get annoying to have to walk up and down.

I called in advance for an early check in and was told there would not be a problem. When we arrived we were not able to check into one of our rooms until after the regular check in time when we had to leave for the evening. This was a major inconvenience. The room that was ready had a dirty stained pillow case which was disgusting.

The inside is very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. Most everything works great except the iron which was hard to use since the cord was retractable and wouldn’t stay out without a lot of effort. But it really did iron good! Good parking. Nice amenities, which we didn’t end up using, but we could have if we had stayed more than one night. The staff couldn’t have been nicer…everyone we encountered was very helpful and treated us with respect. The ladies at the coffee stand were beyond nice and helpful. Really everyone was. The location was super close to restaurants and businesses , which I don’t prefer, but I’m sure plenty of others found it to be helpful. I have no complaints. I did have a suggestion: keep the breakfast open later and also offer complimentary coffee and tea in the foyer.

Needs upgrade the carpet and pool wall needs to be cleaned.

Great experience at this hotel. Easy, friendly, and efficient check in. We stayed for one night to attend a nearby wedding and it was perfect for that need. Clean, and nice amenities - specifically with the lobby bistro.

To begin, I walked into my room to find a used plastic knife next to my night stand. I was willing to overlook this as I can understand how busy Memorial Day weekend can be for you (and I work in the hospitality field as well so I understand the strains busy weekends pose in our teams). Next, I walked to the restroom to find a long hair on the handle behind the toilet, the room was clearly an ADA room which I did not request nor was I told about it. Again, I was willing to overlook this however this morning as I was getting ready for the day, I found an artificial nail on the sink, see image. This was what sent me over the edge, I was absolutely disgusted as you can imagine.

Pleasant, clean hotel, near a lot of retail shops and restaurants. Pool is indoor—something to note, and is not located in the main hotel. The fir pit shown in the main photograph was never discovered or was not obvious.

The Courtyard was located in a great location. It was clean outside and the front desk staff were amazing. Upon our return from a Giants game, we had a cocktail in the bar which was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

They did not have our room ready by 4pm and lacked communication on when it would be ready. It was a terrible experience and the staff member seemed frazzled and showed no compassion for their lack of service. Also, the walls are thin so it was not fun waking up to screaming kids in the next room. The assistant manager did acknowledge our disappointed at check out and I appreciated his service and support to make things right.

My main concern was for it to be a safe neighborhood and it was. Also, the areas really convenient because there are shopping centers and dining restaurants nearby.

No microwaves in the rooms, this is unacceptable!

The property is very nice. I liked the location and the decor. I did not like that I paid extra for a room with a balcony. When I opened the drapes to check out the balcony it was like maybe 10 inches wide and not useful to see on. The view was terrible.

Very nice Didn't know breakfast was not included when I booked my room. Had to buy their breakfast, which was priced high for the limited items.

Solid first stay. I liked the city of Turlock a bunch.

Pictures online are very deceiving as the hotel looks totally different in person, and not in a good way. Definitely not a newer hotel.

Loved the Cafe and the wonderful, upbeat staff always had a smile. The quality of the coffee, food, cocktails was impressive and the service great. Definitely one of the best aspects of staying here.

The property was in a convenient location. It was close to the freeway, had a gas station nearby, and a variety of restaurants and fast food places are close by. It was clean, spacious, safe, and quiet. It provided a restful stay.

Our stay was nothing short of amazing, even though it was a quick trip. Front staff was pleasant and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable. Close to amenities and freeways. Will definitely stay here again.

This hotel looked like it was built last week. Everything was in like new condition and cleaner than any hotel I have ever stayed at. I wish our stay could have been longer!

The “free” breakfast had poorly communicated conditions and took a very long time to get. A breakfast buffet would’ve been a better option. My eggs, bacon, and potatoes cost $15 and took 40 minutes to get. The overall quality of the hotel did not warrant the cost of the room. The best thing was the employees - all very nice and professional.

Customer service was great, room was nice and clean. My only critique was room a little small for a king size bed. Hotel had a bar and restaurant which was nice.

I stayed one night and it was good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are good. A bit older but it was clean. The tv and in room phone didn’t work but that’s ok because I didn’t need them. It was quiet and I really like location as it’s close to restaurants and shopping areas and gas stations. The staff was friendly too. All in all a good stay and I would consider that location to stay at again when I’m back in the area.

The room was standard with a balcony. There was a group partying lol. Ight on our floor. The highway noise was loud so we couldn’t sleep with the slider open.

Female front desk is rude. Morning front desk seemed annoyed when we asked about the breakfast. Very short with us. No customer service skills. Evening front desk also seemed annoyed with our presence. We were with a group friends who also stay at the hotel. We were hanging out in the lobby seating area so we wouldn’t disturb anyone. We got loud once because of laughter. The front desk clerk at us like we’re children. Saying she got complaints. But yet she was the loud talking on the phone. Left very racial to me.

The staff was friendly, they were able to accommodate us next to our family, the beds were so comfortable, and the rooms were very clean. The patio from the room was very cute, but we were unable to use it due to the rain. There’s always a next time.

We called ahead to see if we could check in early and were able to get in even though the rooms were sold out the previous night. It was great because we were in town for a soccer tournament and didn’t want to leave out stuff in the car.

The property (room and lobby) were wonderful. A couple of things were concerning. We stayed at this hotel with multiple soccer teams. The fact that there is one washing machine and one dryer in the guest laundry is inadequate. Additionally, there is one elevator and twice we heard a very loud boom like the elevator was going to fall or open between floors. When reported, the hotel staff said they were aware of it and had called to have it serviced.

Hotel was clean and staff was nice. In an area where we had several eating options a stores available.

Check in was challenging. Our reservation was not received at check in. We had to call customer service and the service was abrupt. They hung up on us twice and the hotel once.

Don’t stay on the first floor. Stayed 2 nights Kids staying upstairs slamming doors and I am guessing jumping off the beds A few times thought they were coming through the ceiling. Had to pay to park in hotel parking lot.

I stayed over the weekend, and i was charged 250.00 for damages and when i called to ask what for they explained for coffee stains and cigarettes, however i had not smoked or drank coffee that day. I called back and spoke with scott who said he would email the proof to me which i never recieved. I tried calling back again the previous day, and was told he was in a meeting all day. Call back again the next day and was told he was still in a meeting. I told them id call my bank to dispute if they didnt call back by the time my bank closes and they finally called. Spoke with natalie and she told me she took the pics and it was NOT for my room! They charged me accidentally. I also paid through expedia but was still charged 159.63 through their site. They are very untrustworthy and the staff is very unprofessional.

Good place to stay in Morgan Hill. Would recommend getting the breakfast if it’s included in the hotel price, but not separately, as it’s pretty overpriced for what you get.

Room was not ready at check in time. One roll of toilet paper. I think under staff for cleaners . Had to asks for clean towels for second day and throw out trash in room.

We went into our supposedly clean room and there were old french fries and lettuce sitting on the sofa and around the sofa. There weren’t any sheets on the pull-out sofa. Just a dirty mattress that when you laid down on it you fell in a huge dip in the middle. The doors had dirt from peoples hands. At night there was what sounded like a toddler running back and forth above us and outside there were people yelling and screaming. The cars were very loud around the hotel as well. We were also right next to a side entrance door that would slam every time someone went through it which we could hear perfectly in our room. We got no sleep and it was dirty. We will never stay there again.

Because we didn’t have the option of choosing what type of breakfast we could get on the Expedia website, we were only given a cold bagel & muffin plus we were pointed at in front of all the other guest as a way to identify who gets the cold meal because the staff wanted to make sure we didn’t eat anything eise

The Desk Staff and Housekeeping, we’re great. My wife was ill and they were able to get us an early check in so she wasn’t stuck in the car.
