Kitchen. Best kitchen I’ve ever seen in a suite. I give it only four stars due to the toilet roll dispenser placement. It was so close to the toilet that it actually dug into our arms when we used it. Very weird

We stayed one night to break up our drive home. The location was right off I-77 and near plenty of restaurants. Our kids enjoyed the pool and our room was spacious and clean. We would definitely come back if we were in the area. We stayed in a king room suite with our 2 kids. There was no extra blankets or pillows. It was not a big deal for us since our kids brought their blankets and we had extra pillows on the king bed. Just would recommend having the additional blankets and pillows available for pull out sofa beds.

No body wash in the shower. I had to use shampoo. One of the wash cloths was dirty. When I went to front office to get body wash after my shower the bottles looked like they were used.

rooms were average, decent for the price paid. That's not a knock, it is just where they are. The bathrooms were average basic. a bigger sink would be a major Improvement. It's pretty bad that they will only clean the rooms if you stay 7 nights, unless you make a point of visiting the front desk to give them towels for exchange. I get it, they are looking to save costs. They should say that. It isn't about "privacy" of the guests. No one believes that.

Even though there was a grab bar just outside the tub, it would be better if they had one on the wall in the middle of the tub. The bottom of the tub was smooth. My wife is very unsteady and I had to watch her so she wouldn’t fall. Tub

Our room was clean and comfortable, staff was very nice, the room had a nice little kitchenette with a full size refrigerator and a little stove! Felt secure during our stay as well. The neighbors were a little bit noisy, but not a problem!

Bed was comfy This room needed black out curtains. Lighting outside made the room light up in the night.

I stayed 8 nights, they were friendly to me and my dog. The facility was always clean, I used the gym and the pool and was very happy overall with my stay

No ice in the room or on the floor staff did end up giving me a bag but also said it would take up to 2 hours for the ice in the room which from 6pm until the morning there was no ice . Says smoke free hotel but you could smell the weed once you walked into the hallway which is still smoking even if its not cigarettes

Extremely loud neighbors, its clear the walls and floors are very thin as you can hear animals from other rooms and stomping all throughout the night. Also the pet fee is extremely high and fees are unclear. I left being charged way more than I anticipated and attempting to clarify the charges was difficult as phone calls were disconnected and emails were not responded to.

I'm not usually impressed by hotels, but my stay here really surprised me. Quiet, spacious, full room amenities, and a great location. I need to come to town a couple times each year and when I do, I'll most likely stay here again.

Like the full kitchen and fridge for a family. Elevator was a little wonky with the key card so we just took the stairs.

WOW! What a pleasant surprise. We've stayed at this hotel at least three times and this was the best stay. We stay here when we visit family and have experienced some small cleanliness issues. However, this time was really good. Make sure that smokers are far enough away from the building that you can't smell them.

The staff was unprofessional on 3 different times in one day 3 different maids walked in our room unannounced once while I was dressing my daughter the next morning they walked in once again unannounced around 6:30 am claiming they were told he had already checked out

Should have ice machines on each floor. There was a refrig/ freezer. But I never use ice unless it freezes after I take the room. No evidence that fresh water was used, too risky for contamination.

Good location not too far from the lake and activities They were doing some updates but when they get them done it will be even nicer

As a rule, we stay at Hampton Inns. Took a shot in the dark and really enjoyed this place. Breakfast was so crowded, we just went to Bob Evan’s. No big deal.

We left early and didn’t eat breakfast. I requested a crib for our 2 year old and no crib was in our room. On the positive side, the front desk staff was tremendous letting us check in early.

For what I paid, I should have been told the property is under construction. My driver who had been on the road for 12 hours needed sleep and breakfast in the morning before he headed out for another 12 hour day. The hotel is under massive construction. No breakfast for the morning. The hotel is noisy, and a disaster area.

I could not stay at this hotel. I checked in and they told me the pool was closed the gym was closed and there was no food there currently due to renovations currently being done. If they would have had this on the website I would not have booked this hotel. I booked this hotel so my Grandson could swim in the pool and my Son could go to the gym and it had food. Since it had none of the options I stayed about 30 minutes and then left. This hotel might be alright otherwise I will not know.

We love staying here. Newly remodeled updates are awesome. Only downside is the entrance access..that median doesn't allow two vehicles to enter/exit at the same time.

It was under construction which is fine and they sent a message ahead of time. I got an older room and the smell was bad like wet towel or mold. We didn’t complain because we just finished driving for 16 hours and we just wanted to shower and sleep. Left early the next morning

We have visited Mooresville several times. We have stayed at other hotels and we’re not happy. Candlewood is a great property with newly remodeled rooms. The staff is friendly and helpful. Although there is construction on certain floors, the remainder of the hotel is clean and easily accessible. We’ve had an excellent days and plan to stay many more times.

I always stay here on my way south. The hotel is safe and very comfortable. The staff is great! They are in the process of updating.

Dirty, muddy parking lot, bad smell in room and halls

It lacks comfort in the room. There is only one chair and a stool. It has a full kitchen and no place to eat.

The property was clean and quiet. They are going through a remodel, but there was no noise that I could hear. It’s going to look fantastic when they are done. The front desk staff was so friendly and even had treats for my dog.

There is construction @the hotel. They sent an email notification after the reservation was made. The hotel does not offer breakfast. The microwave in the room did not work. There are no restaurants within walking distance. Overall, a disappointing stay.

Cablewood suites is beautiful. Lots of parking. Surrounded by greenery and flowers. It has a beautiful indoor pool...we went in it alot. Clean, refreshing. In it's own room eith chairs, tables and towels. Windows let in light. The rooms are inviting. Kitchen has the amenities we need and more. Full size refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster, free coffee to use in coffee pot. Plus you can go to room by office and use keurig for fee coffee everyday. Also in kitchen. Silverware, plates, cups, mugs, glasses, etc. Lots of storage. Cable tv in living room, big tv. Lots of storage. Bathroom has a bathtub with a beautiful shower. And pumos for shampoo and conditioner and body wash. Sink with storage. Good lighting. Washer and dryer free to use, just need laundry detergent. Exercise room next to it. Staff are awesome. Friendly, inviting, talk with them everyday. When you need anything, just ask. Angie, Courtney, Alex. The cleaning people are nice too. We are Glad we stayed here. 😃😃😃❤️❤️❤️

The hotel is really nice. However , finding it is hard as the sign is super small and it is a VERY SHARP FAST TURNOFF from the road.

Time to start replacing (mattresses and faulty shower heads) and/or giving this place a deep clean. The lounge chair in my room was covered with stains, and when I moved it to retrieve a dropped earring, found layers of debris (coins, food scraps..) and dirt underneath. It had obviously been a while since anyone had bothered to move the chair and clean under it. The coffee pot had a previously used coffee packet still in the filter compartment and was covered in a layer of dust. Not a pleasant stay. Glad I brought my own pillow at least.

2nd time at this facility. Just about as good as the first time. Some kitchen utensils were missing from the kitchen. No big deal, we got some ourselves. On the 'Eco friendly' question, the room was pre-set way too cold. No need to waste energy on that. Else as enjoyable as the first time.

Wonderful surprise. Great staff, fine restaurant, close to New River Gorge visitor center. Couldn't have been any better!!!!!!!!!

Property does a bait and switch. Verbally confirms cancellation with no penalty and then withdraws later. Extremely u professional and money hungry. Clearly hospitality is not managements calling as they couldn’t even pick up a phone and hid behind his team the entire time.

I did not get to stay at the Hotel because the room I booked was not available so the desk clerk called hotels.com so I could get my money returned… I asked hotels .com to help me find another room and (I believe his name was Fernando) was refused help with finding me another room…and was told it would take several days before my money would be returned…the reason for my trip was for a funeral snd I was not aware there was a conference in the city. I had to drive around to several hotels to find one available and I felt like hotels.com owed me the service of helping me find a room I have been a member for so many years!! I was really disappointed with the service I received because what if I didn’t have the money to pay for another room!!!! I will more than likely think twice before I book with them again

The staff were wonderful! So clean, roomy, nice pool and gym. The beds were about as hard as the floor.

Disappointing shower was weak and took at least 4 minutes to get hot water. No phone charging ports. Only one bedside lamp. No Central ice machine, the room refrigerator made one small batch of ice and that was it.

I felt very safe inside and at 2am when my pet wanted a trip outside! It is so quiet and peaceful, everything is very clean, hotel smells so good everywhere, personnel are so nice & caring. Only one thing I don't like is that pet fee where they charge $50 every day for cleaning yet they only clean yr room omce a week.

This motel is a very good place to stay. Very roomy, with plenty of amenities. Clean, and the staff is very friendly.

Bed was great. Loved the sheets and the bath towels where big. I liked having Dove products in the bathroom. Would have been nice to have had a breakfast.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We wanted a recommendation for dinner. And on her our typed up a list of local restaurants.Was very nice and helpful. Also the one she recommended Eddie was delicious and worth the short drive.

Fantastic staff! Way overpriced “groceries”. The parking lot can only be entered from one direction and the GPS never accurately located the property.

The tile needs a deep clean. Nice tub. Could use some pillows that are not downfilled. I am allergic to them.

Hotel was adequate although bedroom was a bit dated. Refrigerator in the room was too noisy and disturbed sleep.

The room was filthy. Visible dirt and grime around the tile and trim in bathroom. Toilet seat was up with hair on it. My 1 yr olds knees and tops of feet were black within 10 mins or arriving and crawling across the floor of the bedroom. The room keys wouldn’t stay activated. Every time we came back to the room they had to be reactivated. Some times just from the trip from the front desk back to the room.

An unexpected fee of $50 a night for having a pet. The hotel was full of loud construction workers.

absolutely terrible. went up to have a weekend getaway with 2 friends of mine. the person over 21 needed for check in backed out. i called the hotel and requested a refund. they refused. i asked if they could help us out just this once. they refused. i explained we live hours away and have nowhere to stay for the 2 nights and everyone we spoke to acted like they didn’t care if we slept on the streets. about terrible service.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite with a full kitchen and brought our dog, location and price met our needs. Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. No complaints here at all. Highly recommend this hotel.

The visual hot and cold was flipped in the shower. Hot was cold and cold was hot. The bathroom was not very clean either.

The room amenities were perfect for what I needed. The room was clean and quiet.

Very thankful for recliner in living room area. Cannot lay flat due to serious back problems. Very difficult to find accommodations with a recliner available. Room was nicely cleaned. Nice large bathroom. First time using this hotel brand. Will do so again.

The staff lady that checked us in acted like we were disrupting her evening. Not how you run a business relationship with clients. Not friendly at all.

Rooms were not that clean, floors were sticky. everything was dusty. for a room that sleeps 4, they only give you 2 towels. All of the towels were thing and very well used. mattresses were not clean at all. bed covers were stained. It's sleeable, but not the cleanest.
