I like the fact that it was the only place that had any availability for rooms because of the graduation that I was attending had hotels booked up in the area so I was lucky our place at all. $250 to stay at an Econo lodge. Yes the graduation was in town and now was there a chance to ring the public dry. They went for it. I get it, it was a sellers market. However, you did ask.

Room floor was filthy and no shampoo in the shower

The building needed some areas painted and common areas should have cleaner. The breakfast needs a HUGE improvement.

I liked when it was time to leave. The three chairs in the room were embarrassingly disgusting with multiple stains and tears. One of the blankets had a cigarette burn hole in it. I could hear the guy in the next room snoring, coughing, talking and flushing the toilet. Could also hear highway traffic. Sheets were scratchy. Slept horribly. Breakfast had no tea. It was a crime I paid over $200 for this dumpy room. I'm sure they jacked up the prices due to FSU graduation. We would not have chosen to stay here, but everything closer and better was full.

Didn't make it to breakfast the parking was ok
- 3/5
You het what you pay for. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Very old but remodeled. No room service the entire stay. Had to ask for clean towels etc. Safe and lots of parking.
- 3/5
You get what you pay for. It was ok to sleep. Breakfast was toast yogurt and fruit. No cereal. Really run down but the bed wss comfy.
- 2/5
The breakfast was almost nonexistent. There was a few blueberry bagels, 2 oranges, and one type of yogurt. The coffee ran out almost immediately and there was no creamer. The room wasn’t clean. There was hair in the bathtub, stains and visible dirt on the bedspread, the towels were damp, and debris on the counters.

Nice staff and hotel, the only issue they can't control is how worthless the cab companies of Tallahassee are to be able to get out here

Clean, quiet, comfortable, safe, very friendly and helpful staff. Needs upgrading. The tub needs refinishing, and the furnishings were damaged and old. For the price it was definitely worth it.
- 5/5
Super good ,for a one night stay
- 3/5

Friendly staff, we appreciated the drive up first floor rooms, clean and comfortable stay. Great value. Thank you.
- 4/5
Breakfast minimal but adequate. Table layout could be improved .
- 4/5
Room was ok and staff ok but not great.
- 1/5
Left all luggage in car so roaches wouldn’t get in personal belongings . Aside from that chair ripped open , pillows were stained , no comforter, just sheets
- 1/5
We were unable to stay at this hotel because every room they put us in was crawling with roaches! Disgusting!
- 4/5
Staff was super courteous! Little dated but clean!
- 5/5
Nice quiet stop along our road trip. Staff was help and nice.
- 3/5
The property was older and kind of run down but the room was clean. There was a lot of noise from younger guests running up and down stairs all night and car alarms going on and off. Some kind of party that could have been on the ground floor at the other end of the hotel but they were not placed in those rooms. The bed was horrible.
- 5/5
clean room at affordable places during FSU game weekend.
- 5/5
The check in was great its quiet her beds a little hard breakfast could be better
- 4/5
Amazing service from Sam, helping us with the checkin and changing us from room because didn’t felt comfortable on the first room we had at checkin. The hotel is old and needs some furniture upgrade.

I have no idea how this property has a 7.4 out of 10 rating, or when the photos were taken, but it doesn’t look anything like this. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. Bugs in the room - at least 3 different kinds. The carpet was absolutely filthy and stained. The shower head was corroded. Chairs in the room were filthy and stained. The refrigerator and microwave were dirty. I was not expecting any frills at all, but I was at least expecting the room to be livable. The sheets and towels did appear to be clean, but the carpets and furniture were dilapidated and not at all hygienic. There is absolutely nothing about this property that I would recommend to anyone. I should’ve taken more photos to go with this review, but I was in such a hurry to leave that I didn’t even think about it.
- 2/5
I had two reservations for a total of 3 rooms with king beds. Upon check in, we were presented with 3 rooms but 1 of them was a double bed. Not what i reserved
- 2/5
Where to begin…toilet bowl upon arrival let’s just say could tell not cleaned well, bath tub rust stained and slip stickers worn off, bathroom floor mat worn so bad can see thru it and stained, no ice machines that worked, paint above bed all chipped up, sitting chairs all ripped and badly stained. I went to use hairdryer, popped and smoked I immediately unplugged. Carpet all stained. No in room coffee and coffee with “Continental breakfast cold”, very little food. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
- 2/5
Not a good place to stay.
- 2/5
Needs TLC- desperately!! Carpet dirty, furniture more than worn. Would not recommend this place.
- 2/5
Check-in was fine. Room was extremely damp (humid) despite the AC running all night. Carpet felt very dirty under bare feet, tile floors were sticky. Comforters had stains on them. There were drunk people staying above us and they kept coming out and yelling and screaming at all hours of the night. Not a great experience.
- 2/5
Staff person was very friendly.
- 3/5
Front desk, gentleman, and the cleaners were very nice however, the furniture looked as though it was from a thrift store, and even though I placed my luggage on top of the dresser, I woke up to a cockroach, staring at me on the top of my luggage. The doors do not have seals very well you can see the outside. I can almost put my finger through one of them. I stayed in room 124. You have to do some weird short offloading trip if you have a trailer hooked to your vehicle, so parking is not optimal for this.
- 5/5
Running from Cat 4 Hurricane Milton. It was the last room available, so we were pleasantly surprised that the room was so clean and comfortable! We did not arrive till after 1am but the clerk called somewhere around midnight to make sure we were still coming! It was nice to be assured our room would be available when we finally got there!!!
- 2/5
The room wasn’t clean. Carpet and sheets had stains. AC not working well. Breakfast was only bagels.
- 4/5
No
- 4/5
Carpet in rooms need replaced or cleaned.
- 1/5
There were stains on the cover bed. There are stains all over the carpet and dirty stains on the wall. Whatever they were using to clean made me nauseous. We had to go to a different hotel.
- 5/5
Everything was good except breakfast. Not a lot of options. Looked like they were out of a ton of stuff
- 5/5
Very nice and caring staff. Clean. Affordable
- 1/5
I didn't like anything. Chair in room was nasty and felt unself staying there so left immediately after checking into room.
- 5/5
This place was extremely quiet and relaxing
- 2/5
Icemaker didn’t work AC didn’t cool, efficiently and warning. Staff did not want to get freshwater for me all in all it was less than mediocre.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable.
- 1/5
Beds terrible
- 5/5
Right off highway. Second time staying here. Nothing nearby except a gas station. Breakfast was bare minimum. Just bagels, coffee and fruit but the hotel is great for a quick overnight stay.
- 4/5
It's an older hotel but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome
- 2/5
The room was carpeted and the carpet was extremely dirty. The bed was lumpy. Otherwise a decent room.
- 2/5
This is a motel at an abandoned truck stop. They have 1 gas station that closes and the nearest one is over 3 miles away. It smells like an old cigarette.
- 3/5
When we checked in at 1:00 am from a long day and drive, we were told we did not have water. I understand things like that happen. But you should’ve at least called and let us know before he got there so we could’ve checked other options. Think about it no water means no showers no bathroom usage and no brushing your teeth. Was just told sorry not gonna have water so I actually asked for a discount. Nope no discount. Other than that, the stay was fine
- 3/5
It is the story of some things really good and some things really not good. The room was clean including the bathroom. However, the bedding was not. The covering was worn & stained. The sheets were mostly clean, but with stains. Not acceptable. The bed was comfortable. The TV and internet were good. I would have wanted a microwave, because we were traveling. The staff was nice. Also, which is very good, the staff communicates well. The motel experienced a water issue, something with the well. They called in the morning to let us know &that we could cancel. Since we were traveling a distance that day, I left a message to cancel, but they called later in the day to let us know that the problem had been fixed. Did we still want the room. So I appreciated that prompt communication during the day. And yes, we did still want the room. This motel has good reviews, better than most, of this level. Having said that, back to the room. It is drab, the furniture terribly outdated and stained. No coffee pot or coffee available at office. I want to end this review on a positive note. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. So as you can see, what is good is very good and what is not good is not acceptable.
- 1/5
The room was dirty. Dusty and stains everywhere. I came in, dropped off my suitcase and had to run out to Tallahassee. I had no time to complain right away. Later that day I returned to check out, because I just didn’t feel good staying there. I asked for some kind of compensation, but they said it was too late, but they could offer me a clean room. Why didn’t I get a clean room to begin with? Danielle at the front desk and another employee were very friendly. The owner was not willing to fix this. I will not stay here ever again. Avoid this place!
- 5/5
Breakfast had coffee, bagels, yogurt. Good place to put down your head to rest.
- 2/5
Basic hotel. Minimal breakfast - coffee and bagels. Room was old and worn. It had a strong unpleasant smell. Could have been from fumigation of some kind. Looking under the fitted sheets I found dead bugs, food debris and other unpleasant things. The outside grounds were beautiful.
- 5/5
Just a quick overnight but really nice people who are very down to earth. Room was clean, bed was so comfy.
- 3/5
Was a little rough around the edges.
- 4/5
Ok
- 5/5
Friendly staff, room clean, no frills but adequate, cold air conditioning, beds ok, quiet, small free breakfast accommodations were good, coffee was hot and good. Budget price was in line for properly. Met our needs.
- 4/5
Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Facility/room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast hit the spot.
- 5/5
Very friendly and helpful. Wonderful people. They had just had a storm but did all they could to get it good and they were successful.
- 3/5
My husband & I had a late check-in (nearly 11 pm). During check-in, I was informed that our room was on the 2nd floor and I asked if we could be moved to the 1st floor (noticed only 4-5 vehicles in parking lot) because my husband is handicapped. I was that a change could not be made. Understandable, because I know that my request should have been made when I made our reservation, my fault. The 2nd floor room had been cleaned, but was not clean. The carpet and chairs were laden with stains and one of the chairs had a rip down the middle. Also, you had to flush the toilet 5-6 times to get the tissue to go down. However, during breakfast (such as it was) in the morning, I made the same request to the morning clerk and within 10 minutes, I was moving to a room on the 1st floor. This room was not the best, but it was a step up from the 1st room. Although, the night clerk was pleasant, she did not even attempt to check for available rooms on the 1st floor (there were several empty rooms; curtains were open). I believe that she was just trying to hurry & leave at the end of her shift. No going above & beyond. Thank you, morning clerk!
- 4/5
This was a no-frills motel. Nothing great, nothing wrong. They don't have an elevator, so be sure to ask for a main floor room if you struggle with stairs.
- 5/5
As soon as I walked in at check in. The lady was super sweet. Friendly. Very helpful with my name change
- 4/5
Dirty stained carpet
- 2/5
This property was very run down. Bath tub was rusted and chipped. chipped paint on walls. Walls very thin could hear neighbor snoring. Breakfast looked like picked up at gas station. Not up to what I expected from an Expedia property recommendation.
- 5/5
Breakfast was very poor and we had to wait a lot for it.
- 5/5
By far one of my more pleasant experiences. Loved the quiet area and was able to rest well. Staff was very inviting and accommodating. Clean and comfortable!
- 5/5
Though it is outdated, it was good for 1 night, however; breakfast is too limited.
- 4/5
Nice Staff. Fridge did not work. Microwave did. Continental breakfast was adequate. Good Coffee. Older hotel. Nice hot showers. Expedia charged us more than the hotel rate. Should never had booked through them. No refund of the difference. Next time will book through hotels themselves. Expedia site useless!
- 5/5
We were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and helpfulness of the front desk. Easy check in Easy check out. Continental breakfast was very nice. Bagels juice and yogurt just about what I ate at home
- 1/5
Save yourself and don't book here!!!!
- 4/5
Killed 2 roaches in the bathroom. Nice quite area and clean rooms.
- 5/5
Not a great breakfast . Coffee was cold and food was very scarce .
- 5/5
Very friendly workers!
- 3/5
Check in attendant was in the process of counting her money (the drawer) which is not safe for her and very inconvenient for us due to having to wait. Once monies counted she sat there to check us in could barely see her not very professional. The room’s carpet has too many stains to count. Very outdated. Would definitely NOT stay here again.
- 3/5
The room was fine, but coffee maker. That was a biggie for me. we were there for 3 days and room was not cleaned. was told that we needed to be there for them to come in the and clean. When we got to the room in the late evenings there was not staff to clean.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet
- 5/5
The breakfast was very limited. No water for tea or decaf. Only bagels to toast and yogurt and tangerines and bananas. Not up to breakfast standards of other hotels. Staff very friendly.
- 3/5
We booked this hotel last minute on our drive through. The room was alright except that it was EXTREMELY muggy and almost wet feeling. Made it difficult to sleep in. The girl at the front was AMAZING! So helpful and friendly. She definitely made the rest of the experience better.
- 1/5
Bed bugs.
- 4/5
Ice machine conveniently located. Furniture worn. Bathroom updated. Near interstate so there is rad noise. Fairly quiet in terms of guests.
- 5/5
The hotel is perfectly good, it is next to a gas station and pizzeria, nothing else but next to the highway.
- 1/5
roaches in the room and the road was bad,!!!
- 5/5
I enjoyed this hotel a great deal it was clean and set up very nice. The grounds around it made it an amazing place. Every one was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you it’s a gem.
- 1/5
The room had a terrible smell. I ended up purchasing a plug-in. Water was brown coming out of the shower. I called the front desk and was told to just run the water for a bit. Will never stay there again.
- 4/5
Had to wait on someone to check us in. A decent room for the money that was paid for an overnight stay.
- 4/5
Was surprisingly good overall
- 4/5
A great option for me. I want to give a shout to the very nice staff.
- 2/5
It was old with ratty old carpet. King bed reservation was not held for us. Nothing but a Shell station next door. Limited continental breakfast. Staff were accommodating though under circumstances.
- 3/5
The place was fine it was housekeeping. Our guys were there for a week and housekeeping nor towel change out ever happened even after asking
- 5/5
Very polite check in staff. Mr. Hubert is very friendly. With more practice he could be a great asset to the property.
- 5/5
Was best place east of Tallahassee
- 1/5
My room smelled like wet carpet. Had about 7 roaches (that we saw). Carpet was smelly and stained. Staff was very nice but the place can use a full overhaul
- 5/5
Racheal worked her magic and got us a great room
- 5/5
there was not any one that really impressed me
- 3/5
Ver friendly staff.
- 4/5
Cons: room heater loud had to turn it off. Blanket and towels thin. No restrauants near by only Subway.
- 4/5
It was a good stay.
- 4/5
Secluded and quiet with bbq pavilion
- 4/5
Nice place nice staff
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean and economical.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly.
- 2/5
Shower was dirty. Hotel was not ready for us. Even with my ID and reservation they could not get my name right. Staff was on cell phone with the speaker on. They were cussing and more worried about their call them service
- 2/5
Disability bathroom was disagned by a clown. There is no way a person with disability an take a showerin that bathroom.
- 5/5
No coffee in the room. Bed is very comfortable. Was able to park right by my door.
- 5/5
Felt like a country home great view.
- 1/5
As a travel nurse, I had very little options on short notice , but decided to give it a try even after reading terrible reviews. I have never felt so unsafe in my life! My door wouldn’t lock from the outside or inside . I had to push furniture against the door to feel even a little safe. A strange man kept walking back and forth in front of my door. I held my cell phone in my hand tightly wondering when I would have to call police. I paid for a “ non smoking room “ but the room was overwhelming with a smoke odor. It was in the furniture and just all throughout the room. The fact that I saw housekeeping vacuuming a room with a cigarette in her mouth probably didn’t help. This place is old , filthy, unsafe, and not worth it! Pay a little more and go somewhere else !
- 4/5
The room was clean but outdated. Quiet area. Trash around the grass on the lot.
- 4/5
Clean room but the door had to be dead bolted to keep closed. ALSO THERE WAS A $30 fee for the dog that was not disclosed on Hotels.com
- 5/5
Clean and quiet. Staff was nice
- 4/5
The shower was amazing! The bed was so comfortable too. Definitely the perfect situation after a long day on the road. Desk and chairs were old but the important things like the bed and shower were clean and comfortable
- 5/5
It was good
