I was double charged for my hotel stay & got the runaround about a refund. Was told that my stay would be discounted but that wasn’t true & the hot water wasn’t hot it even warm

The Wingate has gone downhill from our previous year's stay. To start, the elevator had a questionable aroma. The hallway carpets were dirty, stitched together, and had bleach stains. Coming into the room, the room itself was very presentable. Tip: Bring your own pillows, as these pillows are too small (they looked like couch decoration pillows). Also, you may want to bring your own mattress topper, as the beds were also hard. Also bring a fan because the AC was a wee bit temperamental. Moving into the bathroom, the toilet did not flush, the taps were affixed inappropriately, and the shower knob was Rubix-Cubeque. Finally bring cleaning supplies for your shower experience. BUT the breakfast was better than the bathroom situation, because they had sausage. Yum! Decent stay for one night only.

The setup was nice inside and out Where my room was 331 it had wet dirty smelly carpet right in front of my room ,Didn’t know if it had an flood or not but wish she would have given us a better floor,

Hotter breakfast, and if you say you have turkey sausage make it available please. 7 am in the morning and no turkey sausage, there was only pork sausage not good.

I like that the property was located in a quiet area. The front desk employees were also friendly. I didn’t like the tub in my room, it looked very dingy and outdated. The carpet in the hallway was also spotty with discoloration.

My clothes and clothes. The wort part is was that I was attending a week long work conference that week and had to go everyday smelling this way.

First let me start by saying THIS HOTEL IS NOT A PART OF THE WINGATE WYNDHAM CHAIN IT IS PRIVATELY OWNED BY THE Yu family. This hotel was DISGUSTING!!!! Lete at the front desk was extremely helpful the only helpful staff. Breakfast disgusting same eggs same sausage same yogurt everyday of our 4 day stay. Two hot breakfast options everything else was cold grab and go as if they went to Costco bought in bulk and put it on the bar. The most disturbing part besides how nasty the premises were is that EARLY every morning the staff came by and collected towels. They did not bring towels back until after 11am when they cleaned the rooms. We had to go to Walmart to get towels and washcloths to bathe. That means they took the dirty towels went to wash them and redistribute towels. DESPICABLE!!! Water wasn’t hot! Low water pressure! The room smelled like old rotting wood. The concession stand refrigerator was not working so when you by drinks from downstairs they were hot. There’s only one ice machine in the entire hotel which was nasty. We bought our own ice. Because the ENTIRE Yu family is the staff and they live on premises (which we observed to be true) you’d think they kept it better. Long story short there are several better hotels in the area to stay in. I wish we could’ve cancelled and rebooked someplace else. But we booked via hotel.com which would not refund immediately. Just find another hotel. Don’t waste your time or money. Thank me later.
