No luggage carts. If you wanted to unpack your car, you had to do it yourself - one piece at a time - from the parking lot. There was an American Legion group there with tons of motorcycles parked and crowding the lobby entrance, The front desk person had no knowledge of where luggage carts were. She said that everyone hoards them and keeps them in their room, so she couldn't do anything about it. Maybe there should be some kind of Aldi shopping cart rental for your luggage carts. "Get your quarter back when you return the cart." The evening reception was bad. The items on the food bar were stale and had flys all over it. It was basically stale potato chips, ranch dip, a picked over veggie plate that didn't look editable. The shower in the bathroom in our room had mold in the corners. Your virtual assistant sent a text to ask us how our stay was going, and we had't even unloaded our car yet. We were waiting on a luggage cart that never showed up.

The pancakes were cold and hard, and so was the turkey sausage. I picked this hotel because of previous breakfast at Embassy Suites. I will say the staff was amazing!!!! I want to personally acknowledge Kraig and Isaiah. They went above and beyond customer service:)

I enjoyed my weekend stay here. The check-in was seamless, the room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the food was delicious. We had reservations to do the dinner cruise with Harriott 2 and this hotel was only a 2 minute walking distance from the loading dock. The only thing I would be aware of is the parking. There is a city parking across from the hotel that is very convenient. It is only $10 to park. When we parked, there was a black female in a white car that had put a sign on the machine saying "pull up to the white car to pay." We thought it was strange but also thought maybe the machine was broken. Upon leaving the guy at the desk was confused when we told him. He said we should have just gotten a ticket from the machine to pay. So please beware of this if you stay here. Make sure the machine works before attempting to give your money to a stranger who appeared to be a scammer. Other than that, we would definitely stay here again.

Told the front staff how bad the room was.

We were charged to park in a lot that had no empty spots. The beds were super uncomfortable.
-
Outlet didn’t work, no bathroom fan, the air conditioning vent in the ceiling got frosted and dripped on the floor. The sofa bed was falling apart. Mattresses are too old, I recommend you don’t look under the mattress pad.

We went to Montgomery for one night. We were at the whitewater center (which was a blast) and then headed to the Gulf Shore the next morning. The staff were helpful and always courteous. The property was for the most part clean and looked good. The happy hour was a total bonus as was the very good breakfast the next morning. Our room was decent but nothing to rave about. There were some minor cosmetic issues going on with our room like damage to the walls/ceiling from prior water damage. The shower was a handicapped accessible shower and the water from your shower simply did not stay in the shower and made a pretty big mess on the floor. The parking was easy and the location was pretty ideal if you want to be near a lot of the things Montgomery has to offer. One gripe we had was that there was no hot tub and the pool was unheated and rather chilly. I'd definitely stay there again.

Not enough luggage carts. Waited about 45 minutes for one. Air conditioning in room was deafeningly loud and did not cool well. Was not told that parking would cost $25 per day until checkout. Breakfast was good.

After text request, phone calls and going to the front desk to ask for towels it took over 3 hour and I had to go get from a housekeeping cart. We checked out an hour later than we wanted because of this.

Stayed in a suite and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. Parking was also a nightmare.
