The person who registered us was very nice. The room was very nice and clean. We didn’t see any bags for dirty clothes but that was fine since we were only traveling another two hours away. I would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I went are from Connecticut and came to NC to visit family for a brief time and we came in April 11 to the 13th 2026 and the Red Roof inn we stayed in, wasn't the best place to be at. The location of the motel isn't the best or well thought out. The 'Exit' where the office is for the motel is only way to get in or out as far as we saw. We were in room 108 on the bottom floor behind the motel. We have 2 Weiner dogs and there are areas to take them potty but they are small areas. And there's trash in a few areas on the property. Not very well kept up. The room wasnt too bad itself it was clean. But the bed was quite firm and I prefer more give but that's being overly picky and the pillows were very thin. But they get the job done. The wifi isn't too bad but it's open wifi so be careful if you have sensitive information on any devices you hook up to it. The bathroom was pretty nice for a motel. No major issues with that. The TV isn't bad but when we were there there was an antenna attached to the tv but the signal was too weak for us to watch anything. So we had to use a laptop and do some extra HDMI hook ups to watch YouTube. Thankfully the TV can be lift a little bit to hook up a HDMI cable. It's also in a sketchy-ish area or it has that feel to it. But we didn't have any issues per day. But again the location isnt the best. If you need a quick 1 or 2 nights it's doable but more than that I wouldn't recommend it.

Quite Bar of soap left from previous tenants in shower. Bathroom had soap on the walls and not cleaned very well. No coffee pot, and ice machine near lobby, which is a walk in the rain.

They had cancelled my room due to a mix up and still not have refunded my money for it I will never go back there they are thieves. And money hungry when they don't even serve breakfast like other motel rooms do they're the only ones that don't serve breakfast

The beds were not queen sized and did not fit the frames. They were also squeaky and uncomfortable. THe whole place was dingy. The soap barely trickled out of the stingy dispenser on the wall and I could not effectively wash my hands. There were people hanging outside the door at all hours of the night.

I did not like that I was charged $25 to be able to check in early and another $100 for accidental damage when I check in when no other places never charge me any of that . Plus they still have refund me $77 for a stay that was cancelled. They need to up their steps and be more like the other places and offer people free breakfast that stay there in mornings and stop charging extra when people book through a 3rd party. It makes them look greedy when they do that.

The jet tub could have been better. And wish they had breakfast., also we were a family if 4 and they only would give 2 towels and 2 washcloths per day.

I booked two queen beds ahead of time and even called ahead for an extra cott. Get there last night staff was unhelpful and when i got to my room had two full beds and no spare. I have two teenagers one boy one girl... called the front desk and they said no spare beds avaliable and they only have 2. Then we ask for spare blanket so one kid can sleep on the floor snd they tell us they dont have any spare blankets...

Musty room, shower knob broken, bathroom door chipping, toilet seat chipping, they took my deposit bc they say I was smoking in the room but the camera would show me outside smoking. Highly do not recommend

Interesting place, felt like I was in breaking bad or something. Lots of characters wandering around late at night and seemingly every room smells like cigarettes even though it's not allowed. Definitely people living here. But hey, it's cheap and the front desk guy was really nice. It's kinda fun

because we had our pets the room was used for people with pets. No carpet, dirty floors, dirty stained mattresses, mattresses that are springs with fabric covering. Shower dirty, soap dispenser empty. only clean thing was the towels. the entry door had many dents and paint peeling. No security chain or lock device on the inside. worst place.

Hi, just know that their pet policy is for only one pet per room. Luckily we got two rooms, but we didn't know beforehand. Otherwise, the area has alot to eat and places to shop.

I rented 10 rooms and they were all infested with bedbugs. I returned the rooms two days early and they did not refund the money. The manager does not understand the reasons and refused to refund the money for the 2 days that were missing and that we paid in advance for 10 rooms. We lost $1,500 dollars plus medical costs and medicines for our employees. I am trying to find a lawyer and have the hotel closed.

When we requested the refund the Indian man at the desk starting yelling at us saying we were lying. He even yelled at my teenage daughter when she calmly told him to lower his voice. Would not recommend!

This place seemed a little sketchy at first and I was wary. Inside it was really pretty clean and updated (other than the shower). We are very low-key minimalist people so it had what we needed and little else.

My event got canceled and I tried to cancel my room and get a refund but Red Roof Inn are a bunch of criminals and would rather steal money from people than provide good customer service. I will never stay at one of their places ever in the future I will never use hotels.com ever again because both absolutely suck at customer service.

The 100.00 dollar security deposit was a surprise. The property sits directly behind a biker bar very noisy and the other patrons seemed to be living there as opposed to being guests which led to quite a few impaired people walking about and trying to turn the door handle. My bed made loud noises every time I moved so overall never again will I stay at a RR Inn !!

I prepaid for my room....When i got there, they required an additional $100 deposit that i would get back in 10 business days (2wks)?...Now I if I gave them $100 cash I could get my money back the next day but they would need to inspect my room before I left...He told me he could NOT give me a refund on the room so I could go elsewhere, that i would need to go through Expedia...I paid the $100 cash when he told me I could not stay if I did not pay it...Got to the room...It smelled...bed hard as a rock...and had cockroahes in my sink the next morning...DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL

The rooms are like in the pictures and they are very nice. The bathroom could use towel hangers. It would been nice to have a small coffee table between the chairs. The staff was courteous and friendly. I called the front desk for towels and they were brought to me within minutes. Overall, it was a pleasurable stay.

This was the first time that we had stayed here and the only thing bad i can say is the blankets and bed spread had burn holes in it, but thats was ok since we didnt use them. I will stay there here again.

I've stayed there a few times. If you pay full price, you get a room in the front of the motel. If you book thru a website, as i just did, you get a room on the back side. The back is not nearly as nice, and you will notice the difference. The service was good, but the room was raggedy.

They would not fix the shower, or move my room, or give me a refund. Thank god I worked 7/12’s and was too tired to really care. Beds were the most uncomfortable I have even been on. Woke up berry soar each morning.

The receptionist was a little rude. The room was not as clean as expected. The fridge was not working properly. We had to sit outside our door for a few minutes because it to be “reprogrammed”. People were outside partying and making loud noise. And, what was worst finding a used bag of powder attached to the ice bag that made me a little sick.

It was close to the Wingate university and local food shop was in walking distance

Under new ownership. New owners are making improvements and very friendly! Was a relaxing and quiet stay! Would definitely go back and recommend

My grandson was in the hospital and we stayed at this hotel because it was close by. This property is in need of a complete remodel. Vinyl planks were being installed in some of the rooms but the building is just outdated. There was old furniture sitting on the sidewalk outside a number of rooms and I'm sure it was going back in those rooms once the flooring was installed. Our room had the new flooring but the outdated furniture was still there. My "non-smoking" room had cigarette burns in the comforter (which looked like something from the 1980's). I went to the front desk for clean towels and was told I would have to find the housekeeper as she was going from room to room in order to get them. She hesitantly gave me some and then ASKED ME TO BRING THE DIRTY LINEN TO HER! No one ever came to clean the room.
