Holiday Inn Express & Suites Orland Park - Mokena by IHG

I booked through expedia and my reservation was canceled somehow the same day. I had to call customer service for the hotel to get this info. Expedia still showed my reservation as active. Trying to chat with an expedia agent yo let them know was terrible, they just ket saying, no your reservation is active and I told them the hotel was saying it was canceled. This was a terrible experience and I will never book through expedia again and never book with that hotel again as they didn't notify me at all the reservation was canceled, I had to chat with their customer service agents.

Everything about this location was great. When I get to a hotel, I feel the bed. Each time Holiday Inn always get it just right. The beds are great. With a good bed to sleep in, that makes everything else feel better.

The room was clean at arrival, we stayed 4 nights, the breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly, the only bad thing i have to say is the last day, the cleaning staff did not stop to clean our room or leave us clean towels, it was late when we got back so we didnt ask for clean ones. overall i do recommend this hotel.

10/10 Best Hotel I Stayed In

I am constantly staying at hotels in the area and this one was gross. I usually dont have a problem with holiday inns but this one was gross. Stained sheets, boogers all over the celing! And a shower drain that filled the tub because it was backed up. Honestly this was gross. Room 424 is where we stayed. We got in late and my kids were exhausted and this is what we have. Uh uh. I wont be returning to this hotel. Do better.

Room was very clean. Air conditioning worked just fine. Only disappointment was I had requested a ground floor, but was given a 2nd room floor. Was told that there were not any ground floors available.

The front desk staff upon arrival and leaving were very nice and professional. The hotel was very clean, up to date with a modern feel. We should definitely stay here again

Exceptional

The rooms were in need of necessary repairs. Our tub did not drain properly when showering. It would fill half way up and you stood in water, took several hours to drain! The carpet was in need of replacement with several huge noticeable stains! The bathroom was in need of a good cleaning and updating of wallpaper. For a fairly new hotel we felt the rooms were in need of updating and major repairs!!!!! Wallpaper peeling, dirty bathroom upon check in and just dingy rooms!!!!

The room was listed as handicap accessible but the shower had only one small handrail insufficient for a handicap person to use. Plus no handrails at the toilet. This certainly was not ADA compliant.

Everything was amazing! We have not one complaint! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Late check out was so wonderful!

The breakfast was great. The Lobby was clean and chill. The fitness center was just right to continue your workouts during your travels and the Pool was a nice size. The general manager , housekeeping, breakfast team , the front desk were all friendly and willing to help with whatever you needed. I also loved the 24/7 Costa Premium Coffee.

Room was very clean. Swimming pool was chilly and murky. Complimentary breakfast not available first morning and we weren’t informed until we went down for breakfast. By the time we got dressed and out for breakfast many places weren’t serving. Entrance door is back is broken making entry almost impossible, not appreciated when coming in at night in the bitter cold.

Check in to overnight and check out. Very comfy beds and pool Was great with the little kids!

Room was decent. Dining area not well laid out as TV was loud and then there was a second TV blasting kid shows. The hot water warmer never worked and you had to ask the front desk for hot water one cup at a time. The exercise equipment did not work. Really was understaffed during breakfast.

Very impressed with the property and personnel. Great location, easy to major roads and city of Frankfort. Will be our go to hotel for stays in the area.

Check in time was 3pm, and we arrived at 3:15. Our room was not ready yet, so we had to wait about 5 minutes and then it was ready. The shower curtain was not buttoned fully, so we had to take care of that so water did not come out of the shower. Limited breakfast options.

I didn't want room cleaned since I had a short stay - I like to make bed comfortable and not need to "re-establish" getting pillows and blankets comfortable. They respected my request which I appreciated. Only thing I noticed which I forgot to mention when checking out shower door needed adjusting as it kept opening - hopefully no one slams glass door to get it to stay closed. Otherwise room was perfect, large and comfortable.

This is a modern clean hotel. The King room I stayed in was immaculate and nicely decorated. The location was off a major highway in a newly developing area on a dead end street, so it is not a vacation spot. The morning breakfast and coffee bar was also excellent. The location was nearby a major wedding venue CD & ME and very convenient.

I came in town for a wedding and as soon as I walked in the doors, I was greeted with a friendly associate from the hotel. The hotel was very clean. There was no noise even at night on a weekend. They had a great breakfast. The hotel was very clean and attentive. I would definitely recommend staying here

My family and I had a great stay. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. I had a medical emergency one night and was moving kind of slow the next day and the hotel let me do a late check out to allow me more time to get myself together. I really appreciated that.

I arrived early and the front desk checked me in with no problem. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable and the AC worked well. The desk lamp was broken and sparked when I touched it. Breakfast was good except for the sausage. I can not complain and would stay here again.

Our stay was quiet and relaxed!

Our only disappointment during our stay was that we had booked this particular hotel due to location convenience and that it had a pool, but after our first night, the pool was unavailable due to maintenance during the duration of our stay.

I was impressed with every aspect.

When I first got there , the ladies was nice and I complimented how clean it was in there. Room was clean and organized but the pool area needed a little more tidying up, and also need more towels

Everyone was friendly. The price of the room and location were excellent. Breakfast was delicious—everything except the bacon. It was greasy, and the worker only brought 10 out at a time. Of course, there were a lot of people waiting for it. Also, the room was very clean, but the bath towels were scratchy. Overall, we had a wonderful time and will return again. Also, I joined the IHG program.

Short and sweet stay!!

This hotel is fine. It's nothing special but it is new and clean. There isn't a bar or a restaurant at the hotel. The area has limited dining especially after around 9PM so if you come in late, don't expect much. Like I said, it's fine.

The stay was wonderful. The room was very clean. The only compliant was the pillows were uncomfortable. There were four of us, and we all said the same thing. The breakfast was fantastic. The coffee is very good as well.

The system for the room keys went down and we could not access our room without the master key from the hotel attendant. Very frustrating

Nice hotel! Clean and updated, nice rooms and comfy beds. The entire hotel could get into their rooms after midnight on NYE. Had to find the front desk clerk to let us in. This took a long time because she was running from floor to floor trying to let everyone in their rooms. I felt so bad for her, but she did it with a smile on her face!

The staff was nice welcoming and helpful with anything you needed. They even helped me find something to do while I was there. They are dast to fix problems as well if my keys would stop working for some odd reason they was fast to give me replacement keys so I could get into my room.

There was dark staining on the ceramic floor in the bathroom floor.

The staff was nice and the lobby etc was well kept. The tile in our room especially the bathroom was awful. The grout looked like a little kid did it and the tile was loose. The shower didn’t appear very clean.

Staff was very friendly and took great care of our party. Cleanliness in the room is very important to us and they did great job on that. They offer house keeping everyday and have easy phone call access to the front desk for any needs.

The hotel had many things broken, surprising for a relatively newrr building. Tile coming away from walls. Loose safety rails. Often fans set up to dry wet floors near elevator. Bathroom unsafe entering and exiting tub. Towels thin and number restricted. Limited staff untrained to help with shower seat.

We stayed here to go to a concert at the amphitheater. The front desk person was so helpful in telling us to prebook our Uber ride back, so that we weren’t waiting an hour for a ride. She also gave us a great dinner recommendation that was walkable.

Free Breakfast selection was really good- scrambled eggs or omelettes, sausages, pancakes, cereal, cinnabon cinnamon rolls, bagels/toast, yogurt, fruit- lots of options! The pool is smaller, no hot tub - and there is a fitness center that they said is open 24hours. Convenient location right off the freeway.

We were disappointed that the complimentary breakfast started so late 7:30 a.m. as we had to be out by 7:15 to attend a function. Seemed a little late as breakfast at other hotels start at 6.
