    I had no idea this was an extended stay! Day one, the elevator was wobbling between floors and took a day or two to fix, not accessible to persons with disabilities. The windows only opened a pinch, the room was stuffy and the air conditioning was not working so we had to sweat it out until someone could possibly come fix it. The next day the toilet water stopped and did not flush. So we switched rooms, luckily the room next door was available. A couple times we had to go ask for towels because there is only one person on staff and nobody to bring them up, only to get to the counter where they tell you that you must bring up your dirty towels in order to get new towels. At which time I ask about ice. There is no ice, you have to make your own in the ice trays that are in the freezer. The front desk person was kind enough to offer 1/4 full bag of ice from their freezer, but I did not take. Eventually, the fridge started to lose power and to top off, there’s a sign that stated that if we are in need of appliances we can go down and ask for them, there were none! I would not recommend at all. Zero stars!

    The hotel staff was very nice.They treat the customer well and with respect. They helped me change my room without any problems.Thank you very much, employees. Bed linen and blankets, pillows were not good. The blanket was too thin so I was cold at night.There was a lot of noise. Someone was crying or someone was shouting.This noise was really disturbing my sleep.I often go to Miramar for work. But I'm hesitant to go to this hotel next time. 1 or 2 am is bedtime, but people there don't sleep.The sheet, blanket, and pillow looked as if they had never been washed.I stayed in room 309 for 2 days and 127 for 2 days. When I stayed in room 127, it wasn't too noisy.

    Room didn’t even have towels. No staff on site and will only take emergency calls so I guess being in hot Miami all sweaty is not a problem. Just go to sleep without showering. No coffee unless you crossed the parking lot to DD. Lake sides were filthy. I mean…you get what you pay for so I guess it’s f you are in a budget just go for it.

    O items in the kitchen. Not even 1 cup or plate absolutely nothing and was told they don’t provide anything. Then rooms had bug in them and hundreds of meal worms coming out of ac units. Clearly we did not stay. Provided videos and pictures to the staff they agreed that the rooms were not safe to stay in.

    Our stay at WoodSpring Suites in Miramar for F1 weekend was disappointing. While the check-in agent was helpful, the room left much to be desired. The bed was an uncomfortable spring mattress, and the pillows were stiff and clunky. The AC was loud, which didn’t help with sleep quality, though the room was at least clean. The worst part was checkout: at 8 a.m., no one was at the front desk—just a roll-down gate. There’s no staff after hours either, so if you have an issue, you’re on your own. We had to call a number from a wall phone, but no one answered. Overall, it’s a low rating from us.

    The location This property isn’t a hotel. It’s like low-income housing efficiency apartments or dorm room. The majority of people staying here, live here. There were homeless people outside as well. It’s very odd because the area is decent but it was so bad that I canceled my reservation after the first night. The person at the front desk was understanding and didn’t even question why I was canceling the reservation, which tells me they are aware. But for people traveling from out of the area who may be expecting an actual hotel accommodation, this is NOT it! For the rate they charge, it’s not worth it. The front desk closes all night and there’s a metal gate until they open the next morning. You also must bring your own toiletries, we had to take a shower with shampoo.

    There was nothing zero in the kitchen except roaches. Mold on the walls in the bathroom. The whole room smelled like mildew. The halls constantly ranked of cooking food and the elevator didn't work 80 percent of the time. I'm positive there are people living in this hotel full time. There are covers on the bottoms of some of the doors to keep noise and smells in. There are homeless people walking around inside the hotel. Worst hotel stay of my life!

    The cleanest of the room wasn’t there. Shower curtain dirty looked like mold on it. Shower had hair in it and to top it off when I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom there were two roaches in there. Will never go again or recommend

    The staff (very nice and helpful), location (very convenient to those planning to go to the Hard Rock Stadium), and value (cheaper than most alternatives in the region). There were a couple of (live) cockroaches in the room!!! :( The room was not dirty, it was clean... so I'm guessing there is an issue with the plumbing/furniture or something else that is allowing them to get in. I noticed other reviews flagging their presence, so it's definitely a recurring thing that the hotel managers should consider.

    This place is not for traveling professionals. There are lots of, what seemed to be, homeless families/people. They do not clean the rooms and only supply you with two towels and two washcloths. It is also unbelievably loud.

    Weird stains on sheets, floor was sticky on some spots, no coffee or anything, weird smell coming from room, tv remote wouldn’t work initially and it took 3 different replacement remotes until one finally did, nobody was there to check me out at front desk at ~7:30am, which is ridiculous. No key card drop box either, pretty much had to leave my key card on counter and pray i don’t get charged for another night. None of their phone numbers worked when i attempted to notify them of the situation either, and they don’t even allow you to leave a voicemail. Most of the staff is nice besides one individual that was quite rude. Not an expensive hotel, but it still feels overpriced due to the condition of the room and the frustration i experienced every single day I was there. Not the worst experience ever but it definitely made my trip worse and was a let down as there are way better hotels for the same or lower price in this area.

The hallways smelled of smoke, all the time. I know pets are allowed, but the barking was constant. People live there, but it's not welcoming to see someone sprawled out on the couch wearing no shoes and sleeping in the entry way. Staff was busy, but it was often times hard to find someone at the desk. I was uncomfortable leaving and entering with people soliciting at the doorways, and in the back there was trash everywhere.

It is evident the bathroom was used to smoke in as it smelled the strongest. There were no additional linens/pillows provided in the room and the bed sheets didn't fit. The room was dirty and in need of repair and attention. There was an open crevasse in the wall next to the bath tub which Is a breeding ground for mold. Throughout the night there was a clicking sound within the wall that sounded like some type of utility. This hotel has the potential to be a lot better than the experiences we had.

    They took a photocopy of my license. I have never had that done at any other hotel. There were no tissues in the room, there was no conditioner or lotion in the room. It was very bare bones and it was not inexpensive. It was not a nice experience.

    Elevator was not working, rooms floor was sticky, Lack of pillows. Spoke with manager if anything can be done about the inconvenience of not having an elevator. She responded with a laugh and asked if they didn’t let me know before renting room. And also stated that she then would have to give everyone else a discount.     Due to the the United Airlines flight that we booked through Expedia being delayed, we arrive at 3 AM at the hotel and they had cancelled our reservation at 2 AM and refused us to stay. They could not even find the reservation in their outdated computer system. What’s interesting is that they had called me earlier that day to say they would be closed after 4 PM but that someone would come down and let us in when we arrive, and when I spoke to that person, I said we would be late due to our flight being delayed and she said not a problem. We had to book at another hotel and pay double the price due to this. I’ve never seen a more unprofessional hotel. Avoid this hotel at all costs as they’re living in the 1940s with a computer system and their policies.

    Hotel did not give me the room I booked. I booked a 2 queen bed room, was instead given a one standard size bed room. When I asked the hotel if we could receive a cot, they told me they had none. The bathroom had no hot water. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

    The toilet in our was leaking and unusable . When we repot it, the front desk dismissively told us to vacate the room and said Expedia would refund us. Traveling with kids andcgaving notable bathroom was extremely stressful. Staff including receptionist and cleaning were rude and unhelpful.We were told the Expedia would reimburse us.Overall this was a very disappointing and stressful stay and I would not recommend this hotel.

    The staff was really nice however the room was dirty. The floor looked like it hasn’t been mopped or swept. There was debris on the floor and hair. The couch in the corner of the room had a lot of dirt and debris underneath it. The room smelt moldy. We found blood drops on the floor in the bathroom. At night time the hallway smelled like marijuana and outside of the hotel at night people partied and smoked. There is no staff at night time so if you need something or there’s an emergency not sure who is to be contacted. Definitely was a free for all at night time.

    This hotel was only about $100 cheaper for two nights than a more well known hotel, I wish i wouldn't have booked. First they tried to give me a room that stinked of cigarettes, I couldn't even walk inside. The new room smelled moldy. AC was super loud like a screw was loose. Only got hot water one time, other 2 showers were barely warm. I found dirt and old food in the floor corners. Trash and food was all over the walkways around the building and in parking lot. Don't bring your family here, only book if you have no other options and don't mind hearing the neighbors outside your door, in rooms next to you or above you. They also had old TVs with about 15 channels.

    We had a late check in due to our flight being late. When we arrived we notice people smoking cannibus; loitering; the bathroom had mold build up in the tub and sink area; bed was very uncomfortable. Overall, the experience can and should definitely improve.

    Ironically it didn’t cover funky smells in the staircase, which smelled like fragrance on top of vomit. The room floor was also slightly sticky. It it’s from previous guests, or using too much cleaning product I don’t know. The fragrance alone makes me not want to stay here again. But their nickel/dime policies are also a surprise. Sure it’s an extended stay and I don’t expect to have kitchen supplies unless asked for. But if you ask for it, the price is pretty steep if you’re only staying a night or two. The bed was also made with just two sheets. No blanket. I had a cold night because I didn’t have the energy to go ask for a blanket since I assumed they would make me pay for it based on the other policies. I recently stayed at Extended Stay America which makes you feel welcomed and have kitchen supplies available upon request without extra charges.

    It was NOT a hotel. It was for transitional housing. Kids going to school with school bus coming to pick them up. Construction workers going to work. NO room service. Had to take towels and linen to the desk for clean ones. Had to make my own bed. Front desk closed from 11pm to 8 the next morning. No way to contact anyone. Water bugs all over the room. I am petrified of water bugs. Had to stay outside because the office was closed. Contact number had a voicemail. Never responded. Some man sitting outside without shoes everyday smoking weed. I HATE what you did to me on my birthday vacation. I want at least 3/4 oh my money back. I’m going to contact corporate office and I will be relentless with my request. They treated us like transient residents.

    I recently had knee surgery, and to make matters worse, the elevators were not working, causing even more difficulty getting around. The furniture in the room looked like it had been picked up off the curb — torn, scratched, and full of holes. The water pressure in the bathroom felt like a full-blown pressure washer, making it very unpleasant to use. On top of that, there wasn’t even an iron in the room. When I asked, the front desk clerk informed me they have a shared iron policy, which is completely unacceptable for a hotel. Overall, this was a terrible experience. Never again.

    Hice una reserva para estar 3 semanas en el hotel. El servicio es terrible. No te limpian la habitación. No te cambian las toallas. El olor a marihuana en los pasillos es terrible. Debes sacar la basura tú mismo y caminar todo el estacionamiento para ir a llevar la bolsa. Insólito. Que pagues por quedarte en un hotel y tengas tu mismo que limpiar, cambiar sábanas, toallas y sacar la basura. No No No. En la recepción me dijeron que no me podía quejar porque yo había obtenido un muy buen precio por mi estadía. Eso no es problema de nadie. Uso Hotels.com desde hace más de 10 años y obtengo los mejores precios posible. Pero eso no significa que no puedo poner un reclamo cuando las cosas no están bien. Inmediatamente llamé a servicio al cliente y me resolvieron el problema. Me fui. Me consiguieron reserva en otro hotel donde mi dinero si tuvo valor.

    After checking inform there was no elevator and it has been out for a month. The clerk gave me my key and walked out with a very bad attitude the room was dirty The furniture needed to be replaced in poor condition. Traveling out of town was a nightmare. The next day I spoke with the clerk regarding room condition She exchanged my room. I feel some accommodating is required.

    The lobby staff was most unwelcoming. The elevator was out so we had to carry our luggage up three flights of stairs. The entire hotel was basically a cloud of weed smoke. If that's your thing this is totally your place. We had our kids with us so that was not awesome. Thank god it was a small stay on our way to the airport. The lobby staff was equally as unfriendly when we checked out. I wouldn't stay here if they offered it to me for free.

    When I walked in the room, somebody else had already been staying in the bed. The bedding had already been laid in pillows, were moved around and debris in the bed no hot water, and the floor was sticky like something had been spilled and not cleaned. Only had two towels and toilet did not flush we asked for help from the front desk and they said sorry we don’t have Maintenance working. I was like you gotta be kidding me!!!

    I booked in advance at this pet friendly hotel, but when I turned up, they informed me they did not accept cats. I had sent a message several days before arriving that I had a cat but I never received a reply. Luckily I was refunded the full payment. Very disappointed of this no cat policy. I then had to scramble to find another pet friendly hotel with available rooms.

    If I could give this property a 0 stars I would! Never in my life will I ever stay with this property again! There was food flies, messy floor, ripped up chairs, smell of the room was horrific. I had to buy an air refresher for the room and I bought Lysol and cleaned the whole place bc I was scared to lay on the sheets. I did not have a choice but to stay here because I was in town on business and every where else was $1,000 plus for hotels. I should have just spent the money and stayed somewhere else! I also asked someone about the garbage and they said I have to take it out myself! Seriously. Horrible experience

    I did enjoy my stay at WoodSpring Suites, comfortable, and clean. My only issue was that the elevators were not working so I had to struggle with going up and down stairs with luggage. Other than that I enjoyed my short stay. I would like to say thank you to the front desk employee who was very helpful.

    Terrible experience. Absolutely 100% not worth the $491 for 2 nights stay. It was disgusting! The elevators were not working so we had to take the stairs along with all my luggage. The room was tasty. The room was filled with cockroaches and spiders, nasty stains everywhere in the bed. Hair everywhere. What looked like blood stains on the floors. It was worse than any motel you coulda stayed in. 0 stars if I could. The staff was ghetto, the lobby area was nasty. The lobby had bums sitting there at night time. The single bedsheet on the beds had stains all over it. There was only 2 small pillows per bed. We wanted a non smoke room this room smelled terrible.

    You would think this hotel would disclose that the elevator hasn’t worked in over a month. Hotel smells like weed and smoke very heavily. So be prepared for that. Random people outside all night leaning on your car.. Furniture is torn. Doors slam all night and the walls are thin as paper you will hear everything. Avoid this hotel at all cost unless you’re extremely desperate.

    1) Immediately you notice that the hallways and the rooms have an unpleasant smell. Not sure if there is mould or if there has never been deep cleanings but it is just not a pleasant building to be in. 2) The floors in the bedroom were sticky. It felt like the carpets had never been cleaned. The last thing you want is to have to worry about sticky floors in your hotel room where you are supposed to be relaxing and feel comfortable. 3) Their elevator does not work. Judging by other reviews it appears to have not worked for months. I doubt they plan to fix it. Have fun going up multiple floors if you have lots of luggage. 4) The couch in the room was all scratched up, the counters scratched up. Again, just an unpleasant place to be in overall. 5) There was no hot water in our shower. Front desk said we had to let the water run for a bit but after 10 minutes of letting the water run it was as cold as it was at the beginning. This is fine if you like cold showers I guess. 5) To access the wifi you have to call some random phone number that they give you. Apparently the place you are calling closes at 9pm so good luck with that if you check in late at night. 6) We paid for a night in the room but left the property nearly immediately after seeing the room. We didn't stay the night and the hotel refused to refund us even though we never even used their services.

    I never used the room I rented I rented at a Holiday inn express in the area because the room smelled bad and the chair was cracked and peeling. The metal frame bed and mattress looked outdated. I couldn’t get a refund because I used hotels.com. I always use hotel tonight app and I’ve rented 153 nights using this app. Never had an issue. I won’t be using hotels.com nor renting a room at this hotel brand.
