Very spacious room and we arrived very late but they were accommodating! Would stay there again!

It was very clean and the family suite room was huge! So perfect. The floors are wood and Kept very clean I was extremely impressed for the value ! Great place to stay on a budget close to so many stores and food spots Bed is a tiny bit firm for my liking but my mom loved it so that’s a personal preference.

Easy check in. Clean rooms. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Parking lot had great lighting.

Very friendly staff. They were very accommodating. I really loved the Jacuzzi bathtub. It was only 103.00 for the night. They could use bigger and softer towels. I do love a good towel. I'll be back.

Room was okay. There was a hair on the bathroom wall by the shower. AC did not work at all. You can tell it needed some freon or something. Warm air came out throughout day/night. Left a day earlier cause of it.

The room, there was a beautiful sunset, the manager being commucative, kind, and respectful of privacy, let me check out a day early due to scheduling error, there was a microwave, mini fridge big enough to store a loaf of bread, a whole case of drinks, dips, cheese for meals, chocolate milk Half Gallon, a container of apple soda, and a whole box of domino's 16piece bread bites. There was an issue with the room I booked they gave me a free room switch and upgrade. On-site ice machine and breakfast drink bar in the office. The 24 hour on-site manager line Works! The cleaning staff are respectful and kind to every room. The shower pressure is wonderful with an adjustable head, the shower being separated really made the experience a little deeper and more like having your own mini apartment. Highly suggest :) Enjoyed so thoroughly I forgot to take pictures. The only thing to complain about is no stove, portable small burner, or any bowls or plastic ware, no freezer for microwave meals to go with said microwave.

This is an older property that the owner has obviously worked hard to update and restore. Simple but new furnishings, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool.

Staff were super nice and friendl and, the room size for price was great, Bedding was very thin, the room lighting was minimal and on the dim side, and the shower handle to turn the water from cold to hot was very weird and didn't function properly. Myself and one of my other sisters that stayed in the room both had cold showers because of the handle not working right.

Friendly staff Biscuit Restaurant was quite good and a 3 minute walk.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are superior to any accomodations nearby. Excellent value. I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff was kind, friendly and communicative. It wasn't very clean and the room was advertised as a suite but was a standard double queen room. I have the feeling the owners are working hard to get the hotel up and running better and better. I would stay here again in the future on the hopes of improvement being made.

The man that runs this business is great. He remembers who I am each time I return to his motel. It makes me feel special. He's always very kind and friendly. He is always available to help me out with anything I need and to give advice about places nearby. My girlfriend and I have chosen this motel every time we go to Portland for the kind staff, comfortable beds and very low prices. Also it's near plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great place to stay!

The property is older and well used, but the rooms are capacious, newly painted, with new refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. Not fancy, but clean and utilitarian. Great place if you need to stay a few days but don't need high luxury. Very helpful staff.

The room was pretty clean, but the old painted countertop and floor in the bathroom felt dirty even though they probably were as clean as everything else. There were black sheets, which make it hard to do a bug/hair check, like many people do before sleeping in a hotel bed. Didn't bother us, and the sleep was comfortable, but others may like the heads up. The staff was very friendly, although I didn't like the check-in through the tiny window I couldn't hear through. They were fantastic at meeting our needs, though, when one of the teenage boys decided he wanted to sleep on the floor and they provided two fresh blankets for him. It's not fancy but it met our needs. :)

Friendly staff. Everything is pretty run down. Faucets have reversed signs for hot and cold water. Fragile and slippery furniture and appliances. Pool is closed for maintenance.

The final straw was after waking up on the first and only morning (mind you we hardly slept because of how loud the traffic was and lack of muffling of neighbors) I notice man’s greasy handprints on the headboard above my head, very obviously left over from whatever activities the previous guests where doing. I was grossed out and off put, especially having my young child staying there with me. What else wasn’t cleaned up from that previous stay? I will say the front desk was very nice and happy to refund the additional day we were booked for. We rebooked elsewhere and we won’t be back.

I loved the extra space!! The room even had a couch that doubled into a futon bed :) the bathroom was hugeeeee and clean! Originally booked for one night but I didn’t want to leave so I paid for another night! Would definitely recommend!

We had a death in the family and the hotel was close. No paper cus or plastic cups in the room and no tissues in the room. The shower floor was really slippery, very dangerous. That needs to be looked at. The manager was very nice and gave us another room when our TV could not work.

The management was so nice to let us check in early to get ready for the wedding event. The room was cleaned early for us and was sufficient. The only negative was the room smelled of tobacco smoke really bad. Overall for the price of the room and the management being so flexible and accommodating to our needs, I would rate them a 3 1/2 out of 5.

Adorable, affordable, comfortable. The rooms are unique, there's open space and seating. I'm not usually this comfortable when I stay out of town. This place is a win. Kind and understanding service. I will be returning.

The room smelled like someone had smoked in the room and everything in the room smelled like, some had smoked before we got there, not happy about that.

Other than only getting about 4 1/2 hours of sleep, the room would have been fine for the price.

This hotel is using very old photos of the rooms or they gussied up one room and dollar tree'd the rest. It's almost like a catfish date, but it's hard to be mad when the hotel staff were so nice and obviously trying real hard.

Disgusting. Uncleaned. Unfinished. Holes in the walls and ceiling, dust and dirt and debris all over the place. I payed for a double queen room and got a queen and a double matress on a twin box spring. Comforters were unwashed and covered in hair. Someones used soap in the tub. Just really gross and unsettling. The holes in the ceiling let the biggest spider i have ever seen into our room and that made us realize webs all over the ceiling and light fixtures. There were exposed wires and broken door locks. The manager was nice and understanding when i checked in and couldnt cover the 300$ deposit at such short notice. However this is just unsafe. This room shouldnt have been sold until it was finished. I feel like these are the kinds of things that get hotels shut down and he sold it to us knowing i was bringing my 2 year old into the room.

For thr price it was alright. Bathroom needs reworking especially the sink. The AC was not cooling as I would've expected but was cooling.

Rose city is my place away from home i love the hotel its very clean and the staff is amazing and helpful and really affordable. I definately will keep coming here whenever my family wants to get away

Staff was very friendly and accommodating upon arrival. However, the room was not clean, the lights in the middle of our room did not work and the security latch attached to the door had a missing a piece, making it impossible to double lock the door. If not for my boyfriend staying with me, as a single woman, i would not have felt safe.

This place looks like it just changed management but it maybe should have taken a few more days to update the paint and put a bit more effort into it. Exterior looked like it had not seen maintenance or esthetic upgrades in a decade. There was a bag of garbage outside the door to my room that was still there in the morning. The floors in the room needed a vacuum, the tv did not work, the a/c did not blow cool air, and the bed was a foam mattress. I was not impressed and would not return to this site.

I stayed here while working the Clackamas County Fair (drawing caricatures all day until my hand resembled a claw). I needed a quiet, affordable spot nearby, and this place nailed it. Big shout-out to Krystal, the manager. She didn’t just hand me a key... she gave me options. I picked the dark, quiet cave-like room, perfect for collapsing after 12-hour days. She even knocked a night off my bill when I rolled in late, which no one ever does. When my buddy couldn’t check in until 11pm, she made sure he got the key to his room. Above and beyond doesn’t even cover it. Is this the Ritz? No. But if you want clean, quiet, reasonably priced, and a manager who cares about your comfort, this place wins.

The current owner has apparently made serious attempts to clean and upgrade an older property. However, it is still a work in progress. Furnishings are either older or new and cheap. Exterior needs maintenance. Our room was clean, bed was comfortable, internet and TV worked well. In-room coffee was provided, as well as a mini-fridge and microwave. The owner and staff were friendly and polite. An employee smoking area was too close to our room- not pleasant!

While Krystle at the front desk was so kind and helpful, our room left a lot to be desired. There was bullet holes in the walls, the pool was broken, there was black mold in the bathroom, no cover on the light switch, and the remote control was taped together and didn’t work properly. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great, but the room itself didn’t seem ready to be occupied. Did not seem as if it would pass city inspection.
