Was a good stay just to sleep!

It really bothers me when people give a poor rating because they don't have a hot breakfast. They never advertised a hot breakfast. The room is a reasonable price and you have free coffee and snacks in the morning. Perfect! I highly recommend, and I would definitely stay again!!

Ice machines on every level is nice, vending machines were stocked. Plenty of parking.

I booked the room online for my grandson and his finance. They are both 2 months shy of 20, both very responsible. They arrived to check in after 11 pm to the prepaid room but were turned away because they were under 21. The clerk told them (and me when I called) that it was against the law to allow them to check in. Therefore they drove all night to get here. It is not against the law. If she had told the truth I could have found them a different hotel

The hallways on the third floor look a bit old already and like dirty (when it is not) it would be nice to renew them. The room is great, with mini fridge and Microwave. Work on the shower, it was hard to manipulate the hot and cold water

The room was a nice size. The bed was comfy and I had 5 pillows. I prefer bar soap and their soap was in the pump. Difficulty getting the soap onto the wash cloth to bathe.

Do not recommend this hotel. Back entry door doesn't latch so ANYONE can enter the hotel day & night. I reported it and they were aware of it and said they were unable to fix it. Empty soap/shampoo containers, wet carpet from air conditioner so very musty, lamp didn't work, shower flooded bathroom and many other things. Outside wasn't mowed, tall weeds, garbage, etc. Do not recommend for anyone other than the State Health Dept.

The room looked ok, but smelled of urine. The beds were so hard felt like we were sleeping on box springs. When we asked at the front desk about another room was looked at like we were stupid. Then when we asked for more towels we’re told not till we brought them the dirty ones to exchange. I’ve never had someone make us pick up dirty towels to exchange for clean ones. I will never stay at that hotel again!

What can I say about this place it's absolutely outstanding and the staff is absolutely amazing. The rooms are clean. This is definitely my go-to hotel anytime in the area. I love this place

Could bring our dogs. Right at interstate. Dirty. Beds uncomfortable. No housekeeping. Had to request clean towels at 9 pm. Because they ran out of towels to accommodate all the guests. Black mold around tub on floor - dry rot on trim. Sink was cracked. Front door sounded like you stepped on a puppy when you open it. Security door remained unlocked day and night. Grass was unmowed.

Stayed 1 night. Once I checked in and was put in a room, the person next to me played their tv really loud and was talking really loud on their phone. Instead of asking the front desk to say something to this person, I just requested that they move me to a different room. The front desk lady was super nice (thank you) and was able to accommodate my request and put me on a different floor. However my room faced the road outside and it was a very very busy road. Loud cars every few seconds went by, some cars even treated the roadway like their own personal racetrack. The only way I was able to go to sleep was to keep both the bathroom fan and AC with Fan on and wear earplugs. Bed was comfy, breakfast was ok. not many healthy options. Plenty of parking spots to choose from. Outside door on the side was not locked as I didn't need my key to get in so anyone could get it. I did not use the pool.

The room was good … it’s not bad for the price . I didn’t like that it was noisy, ice machines hardly work, and the breakfast bar could be better . They don’t serve breakfast meats . And you have to remind the staff to stock the breads.

I was there 2 nights. Check in was fast and easy, staff was nice and helpful. The room pretty big and clean. There’s a Waffle House next to the property, so that was convenient. The parking situation was decent. I would stay here again.

The beds were old and covered with a plastic sheet beneath the thin bottom sheet. It was like sleeping on a garbage bag. Our tissue dispenser only had the flower that they make with the final two tissues. I asked for another box of tissues and was told they didn't have any what I like toilet paper instead. The towels are tiny and thin. So small that that it was a conversation in the lobby and everybody kept wondering if they were hand towels instead. The television did not work, the shampoo and soap dispensers were empty, and we were told there was none to replace it. My daughter had a room on the third floor. Short of the bugs, she had the same situation. In her case one of the beds was old and dilapidated, but the other one clearly had a chunk of the mattress missing. Do yourself a favor, stay elsewhere.

Staff were nice. The room needed lots of small repairs - the shower curtain was too short and caused the floor to have mold and rot due to being continually wet. The drain made the rroom smell like sewer. The first night there was some sewer pumping happening at 2:30am. The breakfast was ok, but there was no juice. I e stayed at this facility many years while visiting my sister. I will not be back.

Another concern was the staff feeding stray cats on the property, which could create flea and sanitation issues for guests traveling with pets. We also encountered insects both inside the room and throughout the hotel. The breakfast was very underwhelming, offering the same four items every single day with no variety at all. In addition, the staff seemed largely indifferent and unhelpful when concerns were raised. Most concerning was the lack of security. The entrance doors were not locked at any point, creating a serious guest safety concern. Unfortunately, despite the large room size, the poor maintenance, cleanliness issues, indifferent service, and security concerns made this a place we would not return to or recommend.

However, our room had a mattress that needs to be replaced, (it made a noise every time I got up to go to the bathroom, which woke my husband up). The sink was very slow to drain, and there was water under the sink on the floor numerous times even though I put a towel down to soak it up. The soap products in the shower needed to be filled, plus the shower floor was very unsafe as it was so slick. We did report this to the man on duty when we checked out and he logged them into a notebook. Also, there was no phone in the room, so my husband had to go downstairs to get a staff member to come up and get the tv to connect. Both days my husband had to go downstairs to get our door key card reprogrammed. They told him that it was because we had it next to a cell phone. We did not. On a positive note, the room was large and clean, as well as, the lobby, and eating area. However, we will seek out another hotel to stay at when we come back to visit relatives.

I found the room was spacious, clean and well laid out. I forgot some teehirts on first stay. I called and asked up anyone found my teeshirts. Yes, they had found them, washed, dried folded them and put them in a plastic bag for me to pick them up on my return visit. They also gave me the same room on my second visit. Friendly professional service.

The first floor room I stayed in was spacious with a bathroom having grab bars wirh a walk in shower. The shower head was adjustable for height

The room was nice and clean. We stayed because we have pets and appreciate the low rate for pets. The grounds need work--there were cigarette butts everywhere on the ground. The building needs an update but stay was pleasant and employees were nice.

Parking is easy and secure. Hotel is nice and cold, comfortable and clean. Stay here every time we’re in Pensacola.

We could not swim there condoms in the pool and it was dirty. We asked to exchange towels and they said they didn't have any they were washing them.

You could only have room cleaned if you stayed 4 nights or more. I booked 3 nights so it kind of seemed made up. Oh well. The room phone and microwave in room did not work. On the second night I killed a huge cockroach in the bathroom. Main reason I left early. Never was a staff member at the desk. U had to ring a bell and maybe they came. Police were out there a few times along with fire trucks etc. The continental breakfast was bagels and oatmeal lol. Not an ideal place to stay. Not at all.

The night clerk was extremely kind during our stay. Our puppy dog was a little wild but they treated him like any other guest! The bed could’ve been more comfortable but it’s one of the only pet friendly hotels that doesn’t charge so we will choose it every time!

Burnt out reading took 2 days to replace. Soap dispensers were empty or broken. Told to leave towels out the door. First day they were picked up but not replaced. Had to go get towels. Second day left towels outside. Came back after ten hours and towels were still on the floor. Had to go get towels. Neighbors towels and garbage were there also. All stayed until the next morning. Would never stay there again. Bathroom was dirty and as handicap room the shower just went all over the bathroom.

Parking was decent. We had plenty of room. We had to ask for clean towels and wash clothes everyday. We had to put our dirty ones outside the door and then they left clean ones. The room was clean and in fair shape. We had to have a new toilet seat, the one on it was broke by previous guest. We had broken screen. They fixed both issues in a timely manner. Also we had to get new cards to get into our room, a few times a day during our stay. They would lose the code to open the door. That was annoying. And no restaurant, pizza place would deliver to this particular location, that sucked.

Hotel staff never mentioned breakfast time. Room was clean however the bathroom sink had a plumbing leak and water ended up all over the floor. We could not use the sink.

The place was ok. I mean it was clean and stuff. The issues was with the small tub with no drain plug had to use a rag to plug it up to take a bath. Then the T.V. Worked just not the programming? Because it worked the first day then that was it. Ended up getting YouTube to work and watched what we could. Then the shower gel and hand soap dispenser s were either empty or hardly worked. You had to pump it like 20 times and you would only get a pea sized amount out of it. So Saturday on our way out we stopped by front desk to notify them of issues only to end up waiting and got tired of waiting so we left. Then on check out went to counter to check out and again no one ever showed up. Rang the bell twice and even seen some maintenance people but no one showed up. So just left cause I used hotels.com and got my receipt. Then the coffee was good but you had these baby cups so it took like two trips back and forth to get a regular cup of coffee on the single elevator which was slow….So place was clean and ok just all the other little stuff is why I wouldn’t stay here again.

The frame of the door was broken, tge bed was making noises, the floor was sticky and there was a fight outside my room at midnight and then at 5 am. Unacceptable.

The room was musty, could tell it had water damage from black around light fixtures, mattress cover had stains on it so I slept on top of comforter. Rooms definitely need an upgrade.

Very tired hotel. Everything was clean, and the staff was courteous. But the hotel itself was worn around the edges. From a broken leaking ice bucket, to a toilet that was barely on, soap dispensers that didn't work, doors that were worn out, paper thin mattresses, lamp shades without the screws and falling off. The list could go on.

Checked in on Monday evening, checked out on Friday morning and not once did they service my room in any way. Never changed sheets and I had to get extra towels for myself. No cleaning at all. Very disappointing.

Front desk was welcoming and helpful and the Hotel was clean. I wish the water in the shower was hotter and there were more large towels. We were 4 guests with 2 towels and had to request 2 more.

Staff was really great didn’t really like that. We don’t get our room cleaned the four days we were there we had to bring down our own dirty towels to get clean ones. Check in was okay. Room was humid and had a dehumidifier that was full of water. The room was quiet but had a stale and not very fresh smell. The bed was old and creeked.

I did not like the crunch of the bed springs when you first get in the bed. Sounded terrible and worried me. I did not like the bathroom door opening up right into the toilet. It was a big inconvenience.

The hotel is abouy 30 minutes fron Pensacola City. The place is very safe, clean and new. It is very clean a confortable. The breakfast is a little weak (not hot food), it is only to take something and go. However, being there is worth it for its price-quality ratio.

Stay was great. The room and hotel were nice and clean. My only complaint was our shower was very clogged. I reported it when we checked out. I feel certain they fixed it. I will definitely stay again.

I liked how close it was to everything. My room was extremely dirty. I had to dust everything before I went to bed because the dust was so bad. It was filthy.

There are so many items to address; Check-in was okay; staff was friendly enough. Got into room, only 2 sets of towels (4 of us checked in) hubby goes to front desk to get 2 more sets for grandkids; clerk asks him for dirty towels; he says we just checked in; no dirty towels; she gave him 2 bath towels and 1 washcloth, no wash cloth for hubby. Shower head holder needed repair; the screw holding the fixture on wall for towels was so loose. couldn't put towels back on or to hang, towels fell off. Tried to call front desk; phone didn't work. The bed my husband and grandson slept on was so uncomfortable; grandson kept rolling toward hubby; hubby put chair next to bed to prevent him from rolling off bed. Stains on top cover; ended up on floor; hopefully they washed it. The next morning I told desk clerk about the issues with shower and wall fixture; she told me she would send someone up right away. As for phone, was told none of them in the rooms work, although I wasn't told about it when I checked in. The breakfast items offered were not great, but we made it work. The back parking lot was sketchy; an abandoned van, filled with stuff; flat tire; covered in dirt, moss; why hasn't it been towed away?

They do not offer daily housekeeping they only clean rooms that check out if you need anything for your room, you have to go to the front desk and hope somebody’s there. I stood there for 30 minutes and nobody come to the desk definitely would not be staying and if I could get my money back and had went somewhere else I would have on the it allows pets so the hallway smell. It smells outside from where they use the bathroom and it’s not cleaned up

Large suite 316 had one dead bug, maybe a rosch. Breakfast wasn’t the best but it worked for 6 nights. It was affordable for our beach trips to Pensacola. Homeless or criminals also reside here. Did not use pool. Laundry needs updated. 35% was out of order. Not very clean room.

Away from the crowded beach traffic but less than 30 minutes to Pensacola Beach, I had a quiet stay in a clean room.

It was terrible A/C didnt work.Tiny bugs in room can't get clean towels unless you bring down old used towels . Don't clean rooms but ever 4 sheetexchange them

The property was convenient. The cable went off and I couldn't watch TV. I reported it to the front desk when I checked out.

No shower curtain which they did replace the next day. Mold on roof in shower/toilet, roaches on floor. Don't think I'll ever stay at a Red Roof Inn again based on this visit.

Staying at the RRI wasn’t bad! Check in was good. Room 207 was nice. The only two things that were an issue was the: television didn’t want to play any shows and the ac vents need to be cleaned asap. It’s putting out cool but.. I prefer a cold night of sleep. No worries though! As someone who once worked in the hotel industry, I understand not all amenities can be fixed all in one go. It takes time and a day(s) to set aside for cleaning. Red Roof Inn Pensacola-Milton is doing their best and I’m grateful to have had a great time here! Thank you for the stay!!

Appeared to be safe. Building pretty run down though. In need of repairs/remodel.

There was only one elevator which was inconvenient. The swimming pool was very small and shallow which didn't offer enough room to swim. I did like that kids stayed free and that we were able to take a pet free of charge.

Decent hotel, could be cleaner but not filthy. Beds were ok. Room smelled kind of moldy but its within an hour of the beach with carpet so I expected it.

There was visible black mold growing on the ceiling above the shower, the beds were sagging and creaky, very uncomfortable. There were hairs and hair balls in the pool. When in told the staff this at checkout, all I got was a half-hearted “sorry”.

We have stayed here several times before on our way to and from Texas. I would suggest changing a few things to provide gluten free options. Change one cereal to rice krispies and offer regular instant oatmeal too. The only thing our son could have was juice for breakfast.

Room 312 the bathroom show pressure is terrible and there is mold growing on the ceiling. The bed closet to the a/c unit squeaks. The continental breakfast was never stocked it was hit and miss and the same crappy food.

We had a wonderful room.It was very clean and spacious. The only negative thing was that the breakfast was very limited,but the fact that there was a waffle house on the property made it a lot better. The pool area was very nice and the staff was very accommodating.

The staff was friendly and made you feel welcome, even though they were understaff it was a great place to stay. We enjoy the Waffle House next door to the Red Roof Inn & Suites.

Our stay was ok. Disappointed in the unavailability of housekeeping.

It was a bit musty but it didn't smell like a urinal. The side hallway door didn't lock, so anyone could just walk into the hotel.

Needs better cleaning inside and outside

The Residence Inn is conveniently located on our route for our vacation along Interstate 10. It is also very clean and comfortable.

We liked the price & location.

My room wasn’t ready when I got there but They were able to find a replacement fairly quick. They only offer cleaning services after being there 4 days and the first day I checked in they said it didn’t count. You have to go to the front desk to ask for towels, and after 10pm I had to go to the front desk bc my card wasn’t working. We did have to ask for a broom and dust pan several times so I can sweep the floors. Other than that it was fairly clean. There is a washer and dryer on every floor but it was 7 quarters to wash and 7 quarters to dry.

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures online. The whole facility was dirty. The door handles to just open the hotel were slimy and gross. The front desk lady was super nice but had no real information about the pool. Lights weren’t working in or around pool and said she was getting conflicting information from manager. The one elevator was SO slow. Our room was gross. Bed was awful. The plastic part felt like we were sleeping on a toddler mattress. Thank goodness I brought my own pillow. It’s like they remodeled, but a child did it. The entire hotel smelt like musk. We wouldn’t even take our shoes off to walk on the floor. They gave us 2 towels when we had reservations for 4 people. Wouldn’t give us new towels until we returned the ones we used, and we had to bring them to the front desk. Hotel is old and just yucky. Absolutley would never stay here or recommend it to anyone ever.

Room was quiet and clean

It was real quiet which I liked a lot. There was no shampoo or body wash in the dispensers in the shower and the blow dryer didn’t work. All in all it wasn’t a bad stay.

Our stay was mediocre. There was lots of mold on the bathroom ceiling. Mattress was stiff as a rock and the pillows were as flat as can be.

Bed was worn out flooring was uneven made us feel that the flooring was about to cave in, front door have a gap of about 2 inches where you could see the light from the hallway

The motel had a moldy smell. There was a roach crawling in shower.

The mattress on both beds were the worst I’ve ever slept on. They must have been 100 years old. I had to get up during the night to put the sheet back on because it didn’t fit properly. There was no coffee maker in the room so I had to go to the lobby for my morning cup. The cleaning lady left an envelope for a tip, yet the beds weren’t made, the floor wasn’t vacuumed and the only way to get clean towels each morning was to take your dirty ones to the lobby to swap them out. The sink wouldn’t hold water so to shave you had to leave the water running. Also the pool was closed at dark which for those of us that had plans during the day meant we had no access to it. But I guess for $99 a night I shouldn’t have really expected much, however I will never stay at another Red Roof Inn.

I was a little disappointed in the security. There was a door that would not lock and anyone could enter without a keycard.

Very friendly and accommodating staff!

Went there with just my sister teenage niece and 10month old niece. It smelled horrid as soon as u walk in like wet dog, mildew and mold. Carpet area dirty. Does say breakfast but it’s only fruit coffee hot chocolate and tea. It had 140 men staying there and the door didn’t lock all the way.

Lizzie at the desk was very nice, and helpful. I just needed a clean place to stay over night in the Milton area. Bed was not real comfortable, but over all for the price it was fine. A waffle house right next to building. gas station, and Subway across street, and right off interstate 10. All good

The property is dated. The staff is doing a wonderful job keeping it clean. The owners need to put some money into updates and renovating aged bathrooms etc.

Upon checking out told the clerk, who did apologize for the room as it was the only one available. He indicated he would speak to the manager and maintenance and they might take the room off line to fix the problem. Would like a refund for the inconvenience.

Easy drive to Milton or Pensacola Florida, yet out of heavy traffic areas.

One air conditioner in our suite was noisy, the other was fine.

Very clean and very friendly staff. Our room was nice and clean, the bed was very comfortable.

We needed a pet friendly accommodation on short notice. We were very pleasantly surprised on arrival with accommodations beyond our expectations. When traveling through this area we will plan on staying here again.

It served its purpose. Staff were friendly. I felt safe enough staying there. The building was older and needs some work. My room was clean and comfortable but it smelled odd- like old bay or some other cooking smell. The garbage cans around the outside of the building were not emptied and overflowing- which was gross bc I had my dog and throwing away the poop bags was not fun. I would stay there again bc of how dog friendly they were, but I would hope they work on emptying the trash cans around the building.

I thought the Staff did an excellent job. There was an issue where I noticed a couple of roaches crawling into the cracks on the door which was kind of not good. I've never been to a hotel with visible roaches. Overall though, the room was clean and comfortable. The only negative I have is with the wooden floors, anyone with kids that are active, you can literally hear them running around, vs having carpet. I would return just because this hotel was very convenient location wise to where I was going to, so the couple of negative things were not that big of a deal.

Rooms were clean. There was a bug in one of our rooms. Sheets and bedding were all clean. Our bed was uncomfortable but mainly because it was innerspring and we were used to memory foam. Overall good experience for the money.
