I travel to San Jose sometimes for work, so we have stayed at different properties. Our room was clean, relaxing, and we noticed no noise while in the room. We slept so good during our one night stay. Clean, well maintained property with plenty of parking, and a shopping center nearby for snacks and groceries. There is also a Chevron nearby so this area has everything you need. The person that checked us in wasn’t friendly, but that was a minor thing that didn’t break our stay. Thank you to the gentleman that checked us out and helped us with our drink voucher, he was really nice and provided great service. This will be our new go-to whenever we are in the area!

Location was great, staff was excellent. The view from the room was cool, too. Cleainess coulda been just a little better but for the price there were no real complaints.

Everything was excellent and I mean everything, but the only thing that would improve or change, is that on the screens you can connect to streaming platforms or be able to project a personal device to watch movies or series and not just open TV.

And for some reason the room smelled of cat pee or kitty litter, I don’t know why ! Other than that, it was a nice room ! The pool and spa needed to be vacuumed and swept, there was dirt and debris in the bottom! The room before that one was perfect ! Stay was pretty good, I was skeptical at first looking at the yelp reviews but no complaints about our stay. Would definitely stay here again plus they have really hot water which is a plus

Rooms are large and clean. The corridor could be noisy at night. But multiple floors allow the hotel to move you around as needed. The breakfast was expensive but was well organized. Felt welcome in the space.

Stain on floor, no microwave in room despite advertised. They try to charge you for parking.

We requested room cleaning, but no one ever came. The housekeeping number was also unresponsive, and we had to go to the front desk multiple times just to get basic items we needed. Overall, the service and room condition did not meet expectations. Also, keep in mind that breakfast and parking are not included and require additional payment.

I had a very nice stay here for 2 nights. The staff were accommodating and courteous. The room had a cockroach which my partner killed, but overall, the room was clean. The hot tub was sufficiently warm and clean. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of pastries, fruit salad, fresh waffles and sausages. Room was quiet, but the cable service had limited channels.

Convenient spot to go to the Great Mall and the Dragon Mountain. I disliked the additional cost of parking. Other than that, the stay was great.

It’s an extremely basic hotel with no amenities and very unhygienic, they have flies in the bathroom and the rooms smell of pets

I admittedly booked this hotel because of the rate, but boy was I surprised! Great ambiance, friendly staff, cool restaurant and bar in the lobby, and the room was large, the bed super comfy...absolutely no complaints! I will stay there again in a heartbeat!

Breakfast was good, but expensive compared to other hotels near-by where it is included in the room price. Outdoor pool and spa was nice. Gym was good enough. Wireless was a bit concerning since it seemed like there might have been a rouge network posted. There is another Sonesta just a few minutes away which was a little confusing.

I'm not much of a breakfast person but it nice knowing that it was there in case I decided to eat, Place was very nice and clean. The people that I did run into were very hospitable. I hope to return soon. Really can't say, I was very pleased with what I had and what I had see,. Sorry nothing negative say, all positive.

Was told I couldn’t use the stairs. There for a concert and planned on getting ready in our room before but we were unable to because it was an hour and a half past check in and they said our room wouldn’t be ready for 45 minutes.

I'm not sure that this hotel was prepared for a large concert event. We arrived to the hotel at 4:45 after being stuck in traffic for 2 hours. I made it up to the checkout desk, and was simply told that my room would not be available for 45 minutes. No explanation. I said "I thought check in time was at 4pm?" the man, who was not very friendly or accommodating simply stated, "it is." I had to press further and ultimately found out that too many people checked out late, so many of the rooms were still being cleaned... at 4:45 pm. We tried to make the best of it. My daughter and her friend had to get ready in the public bathroom, and many others had to use the gym facilities. Walls were fairly thin too, a lot of banging and clanging around at 4am...

No room cleaning over the stay. Drink prices (water, soda). Tried to extend my booking by an additional 8 nights but rates were not comparable to extened booking. Went to another hotel nearby.

The description states 5 mile radius from hotel which per description includes Levi Stadium, but at check in I was advised shuttle service was only for airport which is not made clear anywhere on hotel description. Had that been made clear I might not have booked there knowing other hotels don’t charge for parking and have similar pricing and distance to the stadium. Please update shuttle description so future customers can make an informed decision when booking at this hotel.

The room is clean and ready for occupancy. They are fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. The staff are excellent in welcoming us and friendly. Don’t! Receptionist Pou Charged $75/night holding amount upto $300 for incidentals when the full payment was made by Expedia. They don’t even have water in the room. Room cleaning is not done every day. Maintenance of the facilities is below par.

was close to highway Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed a strong unpleasant odor. I had checked in very late at night and only had a few hours to rest before early morning meetings, yet the room conditions made restful sleep impossible. Later that night, I discovered that a large portion of the carpet, especially near the AC/heater unit, was completely soaked. That part of the room was unusable. Additionally, both the heater and the refrigerator were extremely noisy and woke me up multiple times throughout the night. The bathtub was also not clean upon arrival, which was unacceptable. I have photos documenting all of these issues. I had explicitly requested a quiet and comfortable room, but the room provided did not meet basic standards. To make matters worse, the room was neither the king bed nor the “deluxe” room shown in the photos and description at the time of booking. Separately, I now see additional unexplained charges on my credit card: – $37.19 listed as a breakfast charge??? – Another charge of $61.66??? I never received an invoice despite requesting it several days ago. Please send me an itemized statement immediately and explain the basis for these additional charges. The overall experience fell significantly below reasonable expectations, and the lack of response so far is deeply concerning.

This hotel comes with great service and views. The hotel is also in a great and safe place to stay. Pedro and Gilbert are excellent hotel staff members.

Save your money and just stay at another hotel!! The staff here are so rude and unhelpful! I had to talk to front desk twice to get my Expedia reward honored, then they still charged me for the "complimentary" $15 beverage credit. They make you feel really unwelcome and the manager is the worst of them all. He really should consider a different line of work because your behavior was absolutely embarrassing. There is a different Sonesta down the street from here and it is wonderful, I recommend staying there instead!

Parking is $19/night which seems like every hotel nowadays charges for. I would’ve expected for paid parking, it would’ve been secured rather than wide open. I do remember this when it was the Crown Plaza and it was nice, no parking fees either.

Bathroom tub could have been cleaner in my opinion. Also, don't make it so that people can get locked in the staircase. If those doors are locked on the other side, then put up a sign.

I got a room in 12nd flooring. It is very noisy because there is an electric room or heater on top. I can’t sleep for the whole night. Beside this, the bed is comfortable. Please avoid Rome #1224.

The hotel is nice and the cleaning crew’s excellent. we needed a kettle and called from deal and was always told they will bring one up. It took a cleaning crew to find out Electric Kettles are for upper floors 10&up. Next time take your kettle .

Your staff treated his grieving family members poorly and repeatedly misled them in attempts to prevent access to the third floor, where he died in room 321. We were given excuse after excuse—“we’re fully booked for the next two months,” “come back tomorrow early in the morning maybe,” “wait for a manager another day,” “try booking online and request that room”, “ I’m too busy to help you right now”—all delivered with condescending eye-rolling, dismissive tones, and dishonesty. To make matters worse, his room was booked out within 72 business hours after his death, despite the fact that he had died in that room only hours earlier. Guests are now unknowingly staying in a room where someone had just died. Because of this experience, I will never book another Sonesta in my life, and I will be sharing this unacceptable treatment with others.

The only thing was I didnt see anything about paying to park until we checked in. Definitely not a deal breaker. The hotel was beautiful, staff was very kind,food was good. Drinks wre even better

We didn’t have any information on how to work the tv, and the coffee maker didn’t work, and the noise level was very uncomfortable all night!

Would love to see smart tvs in the room but overall it was a great stay and will be returning very soon!

staff was not very friendly room was not ready and had to pay extra to get into our room cause we had a concert to get to. The bar was not open and food hours are weird so we had to get a uber to get something to eat while we waited for our room.

Tried checking in 3 separate times and each time was told to try back in an hour with the final check in still then being told they do not have our room ready. What is the point of checking in at the start of the allowed check in time if there then is still not a room available. It’s even more frustrating when you see people come in after you and get a room immediately. The attempt to smooth it over was horrible as well. We were not able to get our room until 1am.

Everyone there looks so miserable they don’t even smile or greet you. The only time there was a happy person was at breakfast time. I think her name is Rosa she made you feel welcome and she was very friendly and nice. The room didn’t even have trash bags in the trash cans. Phone was disconnected. Then when they connected it back on, we we’re getting phone calls all day and night.

We booked this hotel for the pool and it was closed the entire time we stayed.

Room is clean. Greatly appreciated Javier’s excellent assistance when i was check-in on 6/25. The location is easy to access highway or nearby destinations. Some great Asian food restaurants are just across street with walking distance. Highly recommended!

Conveniently located, the Sonesta Hotel in Milpitas falls short in comfort and cleanliness. The rooms were dirty, the building and fixtures are noticeably old, and noise levels made restful sleep difficult. Despite its location, the overall experience was disappointing. We recommend opting for a newer, quieter hotel next time.

The hotel was good but their AC systems are completely outdated as they have a unit in each room vs central heat & air. The AC unit was so loud - sounded like a freight train so I could not use at all - it worked well but had to turn it off as I could not sleep with the loud sound.

The property’s pool was not working neither the jacuzzi . The gym was extremely dirty and outdated . The food wasn’t pleasant at all as well as the staff not being very welcoming . I had to go to another hotel in my bathing suit due to the property not having a shuttle as being told to me there was one provided

Very nice hotel. Enjoyed my stay for the week while in the San Jose area.

I was there for an association event. Although I didn't book the room with the block, I was upgraded to a room with the group. I was busy hoating our event in their ballrooms, I didn't get to stay in the room much. When I did, the atmosphere was relaxing and had everything I needed. Too bad I didn't get to experience the restaurant downstairs. Overall, friendly staff and great customer service. I would stay there again.

This property is very convenient for walkable to all the dining restaurants nearby. Very quiet, and my family feel safe to stay here.

The best thing about this hotel is its staff and their customer-focused, friendly service. Shout out to Marco and one of the managers who took care of my issues.

Marco at front desk was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us an upgrade on New Year’s Eve so we can have a great view on the 12th floor. He also was very accommodating to our personal needs in terms of checkout times. Only little issue is that I was able to clearly hear conversations of room next door to us. This would be an issue if it kept us up all night but it didn’t. Just a little word of warning. Room was clean, shower was full blast and had everything we needed for our stay. Would come back again.

Place was ok, service not so good. They door has check out time 12 noon, but just to make sure i called and the "manager " said 11 and i told him the room door said 12 and he said 11 and hang up on me. Also, our room was ready upon arrival but we got charged $40 for early check in? And there jsplentu of parking (we never paid for parling before ) but now we got charged $19 a night. As a big Company is suprising you are taking advantage of your guests, you are not the most affordable option, and still charge ridiculous fees on top of it.

Our stay is so homey & all the staff that we have encountered are wonderful. They are not short on hospitality, kindness and great service. The room is spacious, bed is comfortable same with pillows. Never skimp on clean towels. We are sure to stay on our next visit to our family and friends in SJ & SF area.

Awesome place

This hotel wasn’t very clean, lady bugs in our room, bathroom had little mold specs, towels were extremely thin and cheap.

Great stay overall

It was a great experience. The bed was a little hard and shuttle service was not available a couple times. Friday morning there was a lot of noise outside our room with house keeping and new check ins.

Lower levels are noisy. Staff would try to give you noisy rooms before you complain a few times.

They could not offer me another room as they were fully booked. They offered to clean the room, which should have been done before check in. They offered a 50% discount off of one night. Until they update the hotel, I’d recommend staying away as it is tired and dirty.
