Breakfast was decent, other than that outdated property and rooms. Location is close to restaurants. Gave 2 due to its 2 stars at best.. they didn't change bedsheets when I asked them stayed 3 nights for business trips with family.

I don’t know if it was because summer is upon us and it had been raining for several days, but the room was very humid and muggy. It felt very sticky and even the carpet felt damp. Other than that, our stay was fine.

This is our 3 or 4 Holiday Inn. I love that we can Al stay in 1 room. Saving us money.

Water for shower was only luke warm, no coffee maker in room. Staff was very friendly & efficient.

2. I’ve been booking through Expedia since before 2008, and your hotel was the first that refused to print a receipt at checkout, citing “third-party booking.” This was both inconvenient and surprising. 3. On the morning of checkout, around 5 a.m., I had to change rooms due to PROFUSE leaking from the ceiling. (it was so much that it woke my husband and up from SOUND sleep) While I did not expect a refund, I was disappointed that no staff member acknowledged the inconvenience or offered an apology. I hope you’ll take this feedback into consideration to improve the guest experience going forward.

I went to get ice down the hall and their were cockroaches on the floor dead and bugs also on the first floor.

Upon check in the young lady at the front desk was really nice. There was a foul smell on the 2nd floor when we arrived on the floor.

Overall staff was nice and the property was clean. We had a poor experience with a front desk employee when I reported that our AC unit went out in the middle of the night, and after reporting this first thing in the morning the response of the front counter employee was to question if we let anyone know in the middle of the night about this and she wrote our room number down. No one ever came to fix it that morning, and she had a tone of indifference to the whole situation. Our room was very hot, she acted unmoved. She didn't apologize for the inconvenience or ask what could be done to improve our stay. We were at the hotel another 2.5 hoursand no maintenance person came to fix the unit. She was the employee that worked before 8AM, she had a nose ring. Sorry I didn't get her name. She doesn't need to be in customer service.

There is only 1 elevator which is a serious design flaw. On a Sunday morning between guest and housekeeping it's almost impossible to get on the elevator. You either need to wait because it's constantly full or take the stairs.

The only problem I had was with Expedia check in, it took me an hour to check because Expedia messed up. The check in Process is always like 10 minutes. I sat in the lobby until the hotel staff was able to resolve the problem, very inconvenient for me.

Hotel Clerk was out of line and rude to my Grandkids, she didn’t see my Sister and I coming up behind them and talked to them like crap and when she saw us Adults she tried to make light of it but when I ask for Management she acted horribly bad ~ pointing a tv remote at us and being very loud, Management apologized but could not control her as she continued to run her mouth to other staff members about us ~ never seen such poor hospitality at a Holiday inn before and will choose another brand in the future!

There was no hot water and the room had a wet, musty smell. The breakfast made me sick. However, the staff was very nice and above all, I do appreciate having a room and not having to drive home between my 2-day conference that was held at the hotel.

We did not like when we had to pull the doors so hard that it became noisy. We could tell the building was either old or shifting. There were never enough towels. The breakfast was subaverage

The manager was very rude on multiple occasions. Pool was dirty. Supposed to be only 4 people per room with no food or drink in pool area. There was at least 15 kids in pool plus the parents with food and drink in pool. They were all together. Left it dirty then closed the next day because of it. On all the doors check out said 12. I am a member so late check out was supposed to be 2. We were checked out at 11. Manager said she didn’t mean to be rude but was very rude indeed. When we stayed here 2 years prior it was much better.

The facility was clean and safe.

Staff was still cleaning room an hour after I arrived. Food was left in the refrigerator and refrigerator was dirty. Women bathroom in lobby and pool area was dirty.

We had a great stay at your hotel. The front desk staff were always present but rarely spoke or even made eye contact unless you were checking in or out. This was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have ever slept in. Our only disappointment was that we didn’t have a window with a shade that we could open so we felt like we were in a cave (room 211). The window overlooked the roof so the blinds are rolled down and secured. We would rather look at the roof and have sunlight than be in the dark. All in all a very good stay.

My son wouldn’t swim in it due to the dirtiness. Pros: bed was comfortable & staff was nice! Definitely wasn’t worth $250 a night!!!

One room was fine. The other, however, we were not able to get into despite them making multiple sets of keys, so they had someone change the mechanism on the door - which took quite a bit of time. Once we finally got into the room at almost midnight, it had not been cleaned. One bed had been slept in, trash was in the trash cans, and marijuana seeds and stems were everywhere. We were so tired we asked them to just bring us sheets so we could change the linens and go to bed, which they did. We feel we are owed a refund for this dirty room that we had to wait so long to even get into.

THE HOTEL WAS NICE AND CLEAN. THE ONLY THING I DIDNT CARE FOR WAS THE BREAKFAST WASNT GOOD AND THE VARIETY OF FOOD WASNT UP TO PAR.

The room was nice for the price. Clean sheets and towels. But i found a dirty sock under the heater and a press on nail under the chair. But i do get it things get missed. The rest of my stay was great.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was minimal and we skipped it. The Holiday Inn nationwide is just fair for the most part. The management should send a team to the Drury Hotels to see how a hotel should operate and shine as well as vastly improve customer service. The extra effort to improve to that level would mean paying more for the rooms but it would be well worth it.

I read the reviews before we went. We were so scared to even stay there, but i am so glad we stayed. I am here to let everyone know that alot of the reviews were from un happy people. We had reservations, the hotel was booked, and we did not lose our room, that was from one of the bad reviews, another was about the breakfast, it was a very good breakfast, they kept everything full, nothing was every empty. The staff was very friendly. On another review was about the shampoo, conditioner, and stuff like that not being in the room. Everything was filled, the air conditioner was working. That was another bad review. Bottom line the staff was awesome, the breakfast was awesome, the pool was clean. This is where we are going to be staying everytime we go to millington Tennessee.

We thought the sofa bed would turn into a bed and it was just a sofa. The elevator was not working and we were in the 4th floor. Having to carry our luggage up the stairs was something we did not expect. Next door to us some kids we’re having a birthday party and the music was so loud till 1am. We did not complain to the office. We had our 4 grandkids and they enjoyed the indoor swimming pool.

Overall our stay was pleasant, but with the elevators being out of service during our stay was a huge inconvenience especially since our rooms was on the 4th floor. Not good for a group of 6 with an elderly person over 60 years old going up and down the stairs everyday

No hand soap or shampoo. No daily housekeeping. I can understand the housekeeping deal, but why do I not have a bar of soap or shampoo. I used the body gel from the shower. carpet had spots, breakfast was almost ok, but overall, I expected a lot more from the Holiday Inn Express. I will stay at the Hampton next time.

Breakfast was good. Good location going into Memphis. Our stay was short but enjoyable.

While the room was overall clean, the carpeting is apparently in need of a good cleaning. After walking around the room for a while barefoot, I got in the shower and was amazed at the black dirt coming off the bottom of my feet as I stepped on the wet floor. Also, although the AC unit did cool the room, it appeared to not dehumidify the air. With the AC set at 71 degrees, my wife laid out her 1/2 thyroid pill on the nightstand on a kleenex to take first thing upon waking in the morning. The pill dissolved overnight into a lump on the kleenex. She has done this many places, including aboard cruise ships and never had this happen.

It was roomy. The pool was out of service. Overall decent. Pricey but no bed bugs.

This hotel overbooked Nd did not have a room for us when we got there. We paid for our room before we arrived and did not get to stay here. Bad policy!!!!

Awful absolutely unprofessional. I paid for three hotel rooms and adked to ensure the pool would be opened for my grandbabies before ever checkibg in. They opened the pool the evening I got there and let people swim in a cloudy pool. The day of my sons funeral which was the day after we came in we took the granchildren to go swim after funeral. We were in the pool area 30 minutes befire they sent receptionist to tell me the pool was clised. Went to speak to the manager she was very unprifessional and asked her why they slliwed people the evening before to swim in the pool that looked worse the day before. She was very rude and said they needed to waut for the pool people to come to clear up the pool. When asked why they allowed folks the evening before she was rude. I said to the manager why did they not put a sign up before we were in the pool area. She put sign up after the fact. I have has no problems with Holiday Inn Express before that is why I chose them until here in Millington Tennessee. Do not stay at this hotel they are very unprofessional and ugly to their guests.

The rooms were dirty so they offered to change my room and the room they changed me to was just as bad. This is the second time I have have stayed at this hotel and both times I have had this issue.
