The hotel staff was lovely and very helpful. Breakfast included was nice and the selection was really good. The rooms were ok and left a lot to be desired. Furniture and bathrooms were not what the photos showed. I felt the images didn’t depict the hotel properly. You have to swipe far in the photos to see the hotel doors open to the outside. Overall for one night it was fine but maybe not a hotel I would seek out again.

Nice place near the airport , a short drive away from a mall , 45 min from the city , stuff are very welcoming . Breakfast is simple , but has vegan and gluten free options .

The hotel stay was actually amazing. Though it may be a little outdated it was clean and well kept. The breakfast was not bad at all for it being a grab and go, they had waffles, eggs, toast, fruit, yogurt, coffee, cereal, milk, and the possible necessities to survive the morning. The parking is probably the cheapest you’ll find in the area. I love the area because you’ll find a target, liquor and conscience stores within 10 minutes of driving. Good accessibility for families with kids. Definitely staying here again!

Hotel is affordable and conveniently located near to airport if you have a layover and need to overnight. Staff were also friendly and helpful eg booking taxi in early am to return to airport. There are 2 LA Quinta hotels - Airport North and Airport West - and shuttle from airport dropped me off at wrong one. So I had to pay for an extra taxi. Also shuttle doesn't run from midnight to 4:30am. Room was clean, but could use some TLC.

Nice location, clean rooms and easy access to the airport and food. Mountain Mike’s Pizza is right across Across The Street for after the restaurant closes at nine. I wish breakfast started earlier.

Stayed with my adult children. We loved it. Very clean. Beautiful grounds with fragrant flowers and lots of seating. Really nice pool. Room was large and clean with two queen beds and a full kitchen. Great water pressure in the bathroom and it had body wash, shampoo and lotion dispensers. Free breakfast every morning.(waffles, eggs sausage, potatoes, cold cereal, pastries, juice , coffee and tea(24hrs) lots of local food options near by. I would 100% stay here again. Oh and it’s near Bart/Caltrans and the airport.

Booked this room last minute after our flight was canceled due to weather. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Great location with good food options in walking distance. Hotel provides airport shuttle that arrived on schedule.

This works fine as an airport hotel. You need to take advantage of the shuttle bus because SFO is not accessible on foot! It's very comfortable and clean, and the rooms were quiet even though there clearly is a big turnover of guests staying overnight for flights the next day. Millbrae is probably not the most inspiring location, but you can get in to downtown San Francisco by BART within 40 mins.

The bed size was really nice The “kitchenette” was nothing like the photo advertised online. The tv is extremely outdated / remote didn’t work. The walls are incredibly thin and I could hear the staff radio at full volume really early in the morning. Only one plug/ charger on one side of the bed. Bathroom was kinda gross.

And that was AFTER an extremely long wait outside (>45 mins) to get the ride in the 1st place! I should have known that "free shuttle" meant awfully long added travel! It took only 12 mins to get back by Uber

The front desk staff was warm, welcoming and efficient, kudos! Appreciate the coffee in the lobby, very nice. Full breakfast, staff attentively refilling, keeping dishes fresh. Warm vibe in dining area; singles like myself, enjoying quiet coffee and families planning out the day. My advice to the hotel: take care of your people, they take care of your customers. Respect your facility, its your place of business that serves you, your staff and your clients.

Very nice and clean property, loved the swimming pool as well as seating area outside with nice and comfy chairs and all beatiful flowers, also the gym position is perfect between the pool and sitting area, very nice lobby and breakfast area too. Breakfast was OK, some more variety of bread with more healthy choices and hard boil eggs would be nice addition, coffee and tea selection was awesome as well as juices. Rooms are a bit dated but nice set up and clean. We had a room on second floor with 2 queen beds and full kitchen and loved that the kitchen had its own window . Bathroom was not huge but it was OK and renovated. A lot of reatsuarants selection in like 15 min walking distance, we tried a sushi restaurant right at the hotel and oit was awesome.

Location was excellent but shuttle service very slow. Property & room very well kept but bathroom amenities minimal. Shower room was good with senior bars and shallow tub. Kerrigan machine didn't work.

This hotel was very clean, good breakfast , friendly staff. We had requested lower level room and it was ready for us . There were lovely plants on the short walk to our room and the flowers fragrance was very good. Shuttle service was on time with friendly driver. Everything was good and great value for money

Unfortunately we found out the toilet blocked after the 1st use. Because we’d been travelling for well over 24 hours and were so dog tired we didn’t report the blockage until checking out. Other than that our short stay was ok.

Staff was lovely. It was convenient to have a wonderful restaurant on premises I was deeply frustrated by the fact that I was asked to wait an hour and a half at the airport for the shuttle. I chose this location because it advertised a free airport shuttle and now I was required to pay for an expensive taxi. This felt like switch and bait. Rooms could benefit from bathroom night light. No soap in shower.

Staff were very nice in the location was great The shuttle is very slow one of the slowest shuttles I’ve ever been on for an airport shuttle . The hotel room had stains on the sheet.

Great accommodations for the price. The rooms were decent. In my opinion the carpet needs replaced. But otherwise clean and the bed was very comfortable. More comfortable than higher rated hotels. The bathroom counter, shower and flooring looked recently updated too!

They looked at my expedia reservation and assigned me to a room that is at a corner and dark and has a smell that reminds me of mold or vomit. I was late for my appointment and thus in a hurry to head out, so I did not ask for a change of the room and of course I regretted after I got back to my room that night

The room was spacious and I felt safe there. I used the shuttle from/to Airport. Very friendly staff and I liked the pool and also the house...The only issue I had was with noise. I had earplugs on me and yes, I needed them! So I slept very well indeed! 👍

We literally just slept for 3 hours, we didn't have breakfast either we had to leave at 4am.

I have always booked at this hotel but this time it was actually a bad experience. The room was dirty. The bedsheets inside out I asked for extra bed sheets and they had me waiting for more then 1 hour after that I ended up going downstairs to get the extra sheets and towels I called the front desk clerk as not helpful he told me that he couldn’t bring them up stairs that he just started his shift but the other clerk had me waiting since the beginning he should’ve told me to just go downstairs and get them myself I had a bad experience this time the room wasn’t that clean

Location The room smelled like smoke!!! It had dingy lighting. There were hairs in the toilet and on the bed. The TV was outdated. It is basically a glorified motel, not worth the excessive amount that we paid.

After packing up our apartment we needed to check in early and the front desk accomodated us no problem, at no extra charge. The ultimate reason I chose this hotel was because of the airport shuttle for flights out the following morning. Continental breakfast was typical. Restaurants within walking distance if you don't like the in-house Japanese place. Overall it accomplished exactly what we wanted and we are pleased.

AC didn’t work. People were outside our rooms talking loudly at 1:30 am in courtyard area. Called front desk and it stopped for a while and then started again. Really long shuttle ride from the airport, 20-25 minutes. Arriving late and exhausted, we just dealt with it. Booked another hotel on our return trip and willing to lose our non-refundable fee before ever staying here again.

We had to make a last minute booking and it could not have gone more smoothly. Very pleased with the parking, in particular, but everything was wonderful.

The receptionist recommended a wonderful restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. She was exceptionally helpful and efficient.

everything but the shuttle I heard the driver quit on the job had to wait over 90 minutes for the shuttle.

The only reason I stayed at this hotel was to get to SFO in time for a 6am flight. The front desk lady in the morning gave us accurate information about when the shuttle bus would arrive at SFO, 5:11 a.m. The man at the front desk ordered us a cab at 4:35 a.m. the next morning. He told us and other guests that the La Quinta Hotel that the 4:45 a.m. shuttle bus would go directly to the airport without stopping at any other hotel on the way. Well, at 4:45 a.m. the cab he called had not arrived. So we got on the shuttle. Guess what! It stopped at three more hotels on the way to the airport. We had to run to our plane. We were the last ones on. They were about to close the doors. The clerk lied. The hotel is not where you want to stay for an early flight.

The hotel was good, the morning desk clerk was super friendly. We just were surprised at how many other hotels the shuttle bus stopped at on the way to the airport. You might want to make this known.

We stayed at this hotel for the shuttle and stay overnight. While the amenities were great, and the staff is great the room was extremely dated. The bed was phenomenal. But everything else in the room needs to be updated.

Shuttle from airport was exhausting. Long wait—35 minutes, then many more pickups at airport and long ride because this hotel is the last stop on the drop off rout. So about an hour before I got to the hotel. Hotel is nice, but take a Uber.

The check in person was very friendly and the beds were exceedingly comfortable. We had a very early flight and the front desk already had items for us to eat at 4 am.

The room was not clean

it's a nice property for the price but I had two issues with my stay. One, the shuttle dropped me off at the wrong hotel so I had to take an Uber. But the main issue was that the towels and bed sheets were not washed - pretty disgusting. I had checked in pretty late at night so I reported it the next morning and they apologized and gave me a new set of clean towels and and bed sheets including for the pillows, so I give the staff credit for correcting the error.

I am going to start by complimenting the staff who really get the idea of service. They really go over and above, from the front desk staff to the breakfast staff. I was surprised to see that the rooms are laid out almost like a motel around a courtyard, but the California weather does not make it a problem. Rooms were immaculately cleaned. Ideal location, shuttle does not run 24 hours, so make sure to call the hotel to confirm its times. It runs every 45 mins to/from the airport. Breakfast in the AM was a delightful selection of hot items and cold and gluten free options too. Waffles, eggs, sausages, toast, yogurts, fruits, coffee and juices all included. Anyways, will come back again and stay here.

The WiFi also was poor and sometimes non existent. Food in area was limited to a Asian restaurant next door, take away pizza joint across the road or delivery. liquor store 50 yards away for beer, snacks, and microwave food was our option.

The room was excellent. The only complaint I have is my vehicle was tagged to be towed because the hotel didn’t give me a parking pass when I checked in. Also my deposit I had to put down won’t be reimbursed for 5 to 7 business days. But they take it immediately. I know that’s common practice but I still don’t like it.

The hotel and surrounding area was nice and clean, garage was nicely lit up especially at night which is a good thing! Loved the room and the amenities provided - wish there was dishwasher soap. Overall we would stay here again.

We arrived at 11:00 pm after a long day of travel, to a room that was 59°. When I requested a room that was heated, I was advised that the heat in all the rooms was turned off if unoccupied. They saved a couple of dollars for heating, but lost me as a customer, and everyone I relate my experience to. Additionally, as a post-script, the water in the bathroom sink never drained from the minute we arrived until we left.

The best part about the room is that the beds are comfortable, which is the most important part of a hotel stay. The room itself is somewhat depressing. The lighting is dingy, the bathroom leaves much to be desired. It’s old and outdated. The TV could be bigger. Overall it’s a fair room for a somewhat fair price. Probably wouldn’t stay here again though.

Everything else was fine and most of the staff were great, except that the airport shuttle service is much more limited than at other hotels in the area. I was waiting to be picked up at SFO for 45 minutes and saw shuttles for other hotels come by multiple times as I waited.

This is a motel condition, very small room, the floor carpet is yellow and smelly and muggy. the breakfast is 10 people seating only. will not return. it is a motel one star.

My first time at any La Quinta! Close to the airport, timely Shuttle Service, and overall a pleasant experience.

The breakfast is good. One lady employee is always happy to help but the guy on my last day was not so helpful. I called the front desk around 9am -10am to tell them that someone opened my door while I was sleeping. On my shocked I don't even see clearly the face of the guy who opened my door in room 302 luckily my door was lock with other lock on top of the door that’s why the guy who opened my door dont open it widely. I was half naked on my sleep that is my im very shocked. Then when I go down to talk to the receptionist why this thing happen he just told me that he dont know why then he called the room attendant if there is someone who opened my door. There is no sincere apology for the incident, then what he did is he just gave me a calling card and told me of i have complaint that number. From now on I will never book on this hotel.

Clean and spotless although a little wear and tear were evident.

It was a good experience in a 5-night stay in the hotel. We get a bedroom with a kitchen that has cutleries, plates-- that are good for four persons, 3 cooking pots, 1 frying pan, glassses and cups. Staff were nice especially Anna at the front desk who lend us a rice cooker. I highly recommend this hotel for family and group stay.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, older feel of building, road noise was not bad on the front room we had, toilet kept filling after flushing needed new guts had to lift lid and fiddle each flush, shower tub had slow drain feet were swimming after showers, breakfast had good selections, overall would stay there again.

This is a great place to stay right near the airport. The price is very competitive compared to other places nearby. It’s clean and the bed was comfy. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear your neighbors quite easily but I’d still stay here again.

My room was excellent and the breakfast looked good but I had to leave too early to eat it. Shuttle driver in the morning was professional and not scary and made sure I got to where I was going. Travelers really need compassionate people to give help needed.

We were just having a one-night layover to get home, so we wanted quick, convenient and cost effective. We had a terrible experience with one of the hotels down the road, and we are happy we chose La Quinta. They were friendly, accommodating and very helpful with all of our questions.

The staff tried to get me connected to the internet however; it was late and I gave up trying to connect. The staff tried, even the manager came to my room to try to correct the problem. I had an early flight and was able to get a few pastries and some coffee before getting on the airport shuttle. Great service and very courteous! Thank you.

The one good thing is the staff was very nice. The room felt unsafe. The windows didn't lock in the first room on the ground floor, and I requested a different room. The carpet was dirty and worn, and the furniture scuffed. Crazy given I paid more than $450 per night. Way too expensive for the quality.

We had a one night there before flying out of San Francisco. Was close to airport and had sushi bar next door for dinner which was nice as well. We thought it had shuttle to airport but didn’t start till 4pm which was no good to us being out of our room by 1pm but Uber was cheap so all good

Rooms were spacious and clean. but the TV was small, and the remotes didn't work properly. On requesting, they did provide a different remote, which was somehow manageable. Stayed 3 nights, very close to the airport.

The breakfast bar offered a wide variety of options: a waffle maker, Quaker oats, a cereal rack with multiple choices, and hot items including turkey bacon, scrambled eggs, and seasoned potatoes. There were also yogurts, breads, muffins, and assorted pastries—plenty to suit different tastes and dietary needs. The breakfast area was quite warm (around 80°F), which I personally enjoyed, though my husband preferred the adjacent cooler room. One small issue: the refrigerator storing yogurts and dairy items felt a bit too warm. Our guest room was clean and restful. As a recovering patient, I found the open-air corridors a little chilly to navigate. The in-room air conditioner had a missing bearing, which caused noticeable noise when it ramped up in the afternoon and evening. It made falling asleep slightly challenging, though manageable. On the plus side, the dark roast coffee was exceptional, and the airport shuttle was prompt and convenient. Overall, this hotel offered a supportive and comfortable environment during a vulnerable time. I’d recommend it to anyone needing proximity to Stanford and a smooth, low-stress stay.

Nice property and close to airport

I should have paid $50 more and booked a well known hotel, but I tried to find a place within the airline’s voucher limit. I was shocked… I have not stayed in places like this one since 1995. The walls have been painted and the TV has been updated to a flat screen, but it is basically a motel. The toilet ran all night, no amenities around the vanity whatsoever. Also, the airport shuttle stops at 3 additional locations but this property is by far the farthest. It takes about 30+ minutes to and from SFO. The front desk staff was nice and the free breakfast offered ample varieties. Last but not least, they give you more than enough towels, which is always a plus.

Bed was comfortable and breakfast was okay

Average hotel but not bad. Room was clean but well used. Housekeeping staff was a bit noisy rolling carts around early in the morning and well into evening. Our room was right by an elevator so could get loud with guests and staff coming and going. The plaza was nice and kids enjoyed the pool.

Restaurant in the hotel wasn't what we were looking for and none within walking diatance,so ended up ordering in! The grounds were beautiful and complimentary breakfast was very nice. It was a very comfortable stay.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my husband, child and dog. Good hotel, clean room, beautiful well-kept territory. I liked that our room had a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, you can cook dinner if you bring a frying pan or saucepan with you, there is a capsule coffee machine in the room and all the necessary amenities. We will be happy to return to this hotel again.

Really nice courtyard

Booked this hotel as just needed short layover with 24hr reception. On arrival reception unattended and considerable wait for someone to turn up. Room had dripping tap and no hotwater in shower with little water pressure. Buffet breakfast very basic and uninspiring. Wont stay this chain again.

A LOT of huge pluses for this place. Booked final night before flying home and just wished I had booked on the front end too. High points: Great, safe walkable area with oodles eating options. Secure prkg garage.The center courtyard patio area is exceptional! No photos on the website do it justice. Spent evening and morn sitting there. The pool area and courtyard are separated by a glassed in workout room, which we did not use but how nice to be able to use the equipt with a choice of views, courtyard or watching kids in pool. And this kept any pool noise inaudible in the courtyard area. Both areas contiguous to lobby, breakfast area. Genius layout/design. Our room was great; full kitchen a big plus for a fam of 4 just to spread out. Kitchen window had view looking east to rails, airport. No privacy issues, high enough up, just fun view for a tourist. Beds comfy, everything about the room great, just a little dark for my liking, but almost forgotten given all the positives). Staff at this hotel, scale of 1:5, a 6. That’s how good. Their airport shuttle does not run from 11:30am-@4pm. We had to be to airport at 2pm. That was an unexpected problem. Front desk Sonna (sp?) took care to resolve and ordered a cab for us. Strange to not have shuttle service at checkout time/midday, so best to plan ahead. Safe, walkable area with oodles of eating/carryout options (espec Asian) walking distance. Sooo much better than airport hotels just north of SFO.

Property is old and it shows. Carpet in the room is like a motel 6. Staff very professional but short staffed during breakfast. Almost everything was out, milk, coffee etc. the staff worked hard but not enough people to manage.

The flora and the fauna at the property are intentional and well placed. Honestly, I felt like we had been transported to a little European boutique that tried hard to provide value for the money spent. Especially with the Belgian waffles and extensive breakfast offerings, on that score, they succeeded. The onsite parking was also an unexpected, and reasonable, extra bonus.

Well, you shouldn't have to pay an extra $15 to park in the parking garage of the hotel you rent. And that should be disclosed ahead of time

Room was nice except for the window above the bathroom vanity which let in light early in the morning, waking me up earlier than necessary. There was no curtain to close to block the light, and this is a dealbreaker for taking away several hours of sleep.
