Very clean, basic place. Convenient location.

No microwave or fridge in the room - and the room itself looked nothing like the photos posted. My shoes stuck to the floor (could be leftover cleaning solution) and there were dustballs of hair in the corner of the closet, which didn’t have doors. The person who checked us in at the front desk and got us extra pillows was super friendly and quick! Booked the hotel for price and location - it is what it is.

We had a really good day at this hotel. I would recommend it if you’re in the area.

Clean room and bathroom. Easy to park. Torn net curtains and light coming through the bathroom windows in the morning, which lit the bedroom as bathroom had glass wall tiles. Breakfast pastries were very basic. Just good coffee would be better.

Hotel was Meh…. Not really like pictured. Small rooms. Clean. But sort of a creepy motel feel. Not a hotel where you want to linger in the morning for any reason.

Check in great, premises wonderful. location great,friendly and courteous check in. Bed a little hard to my preference otherwise everything clean and in great shape.

They gave us the section that was still under renovation with some door items laying on the floor. They left the Roomba equipment in front of the door as you open it. After unpacking when I tried to use the sink, it was clogged up so I called the front desk and she said no one was there to help so she moved us to the room across. The carpets were so worn out and the rooms had a bad chemical smell. I really think it is from the cleaning chemicals they used on the carpet over the years. I couldn't sleep the first night. I'm not sure if I would like to go back there again. We've stayed at Travelodge in other cities before and it wasn't this bad.

The staff was amazing. Check-in was easy. The rooms were nice and clean.

The only thing I didn't liked is that there were cucarachas at the room and the bathroom. I had to kill the ones that were visible with toilet paper and flushed them. I couldn't sleep well thinking they could be on my bed.

The continental breakfast is coffee and a package of breakfast snacks (1 option). The place was quiet but over priced for the small room. Shower was very nice, had good pressure. Staff was friendly on check-in but not conversant at all at check-out.

I Always need toilet paper they never put more also only one pillow per person that k but they where thin. The last day our room never got cleaned . I asked for towels and they said I only have 2 . No wash towels or shampoo or soap which would of been nice before going to airport at 11 at night. Employees where nice just didn't do

We spent one night here because it was close to Muir Woods National Monument. We wanted to go from the airport to Sausalito for dinner and then stay somewhere convenient to MWNM. The hotel is old and no frills. It’s clean and everything has fresh paint. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed.

I needed a place to stay for one night. Main requirement was cleanliness. The room was very basic, good enough. Mostly clean, but there was hair on the floor from a previous occupant. The most important thing for me was that there were no bed bugs.

Air conditioning was in the back by the bathroom and blocked by walls, area near beds did not cool off.

Rooms had wear and tear (old bathrooms, paint wear, old AC, discoloration, etc). Staff was nice. One night we didn't get parking because the lot was full which was a little frustrating. It's definitely a "you get what you pay for" situation?

Very good location for access to Mill Valley and Sausalito. Close to several eateries and a grocery store.

I was really impressed with how clean the room was! I also really loved the property view! I got to see all kinds of water birds. There are really great places to eat very close by and on the same side of the highway. There is also a very lovely shopping area up a scenic road near by. There was no kind of refrigerator unit there so I used the ice machine and borrowed a cooler from my friend. I stayed in the jacuzzi tub room and am very happy to report the tub and the jets were clean. There were no stains nor burn marks and I was also happy that they chose to have bare floors over hotel carpet. The bedding was great, however the bed could have been a little more comfortable. Felt only a step up from a fold out couch mattress. I did sleep well on it, but after my third night there, I stayed a week, I was waking up a bit sore. It was a bit loud, to be expected because of the proximity to the highway, but I sleep through anything. I would stay again, though. The downs were not enough to out weigh the ups. There was an actual coffee maker in the room, too which brought me much joy.

Very comfortable bed, good shower, clean and pleasant room. Quiet despite being near the highway, although my room was further back than some others seem to be. It's a highway motel, so you know what you're getting, but a good one. Alleged 'breakfast' of a lukewarm coffee urn and the cheapest possible, factory-made and terrible pastries...not worth putting out to be honest. A block away is a drive in/walk up with good breakfast burritos and coffee, and it's open every day from very early.

The location was very convenient. While it fronts Highway 101, it was pleasantly quiet! The staff was extremely friendly, caring and attentive. They were fully booked but I felt like they cared about me as an individual. Some of the fixtures are worn but obviously being cared for.

Clean room & bathroom. Indian restaurant attached. Gas station, McDonald's nearby, Safeway grocery not far. Very good coffee stand next-door. No real breakfast.

The manager/owner, I am not sure of their title was one of the kindest individuals whom I have ever met when checking into a hotel. It could have been the beautiful sunny day, the reason for visiting the area, I don't know, but the individual could not have been nicer and ingratiating. I would stay here any and every time I wanted to visit the Marin area The room was immaculate. The hallway had a roomba vacuum, so you know the place was legit. Everything looked clean, it was just pleasant to stay there. We had a little deck that looked out onto Mill Valley and the surrounding hills.

There was no breakfast and located next to freeway was a bit noisy. The clerk was friendly and responsive to my needs. I asked for a downstairs room for my father but none were available.

Pros: The staff is very friendly. Our room did not have a remote, someone came and programmed one ASAP. The hotel is clean. The cons any of the rooms that face the highway are very loud, also a restaurant underneath could hear them in the kitchen banging around until they closed. They only give you two tiny pillows for your bed, so bring your own as they did not have any extras. The beds are not very comfortable either. I was driving a large diesel truck and was lucky to find and end spot to park it. Would be a tight squeeze otherwise. Was good enough for an overnight stay.

We were staying there because my husband was dying and we were asked to be close to the hospital. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night. I would not recommend this sketchy place at all.

It had a usb-a plug and outlet plug convenient located on the microwave. Didn’t try the usb plug but tried the outlet plug located on the microwave but it didn’t work so I used a different outlet for my clothes steamer I thought. Hot water worked but turned on and off intermittently a couple of times while I was showering in the morning. Easy to check in and check out. Rooms have updated flooring and furniture. It’s next to the freeway but only heard it of you opened the bathroom window. Rooms were standard motel quiet with slight noise near the door, hearing other doors open during the day. No noise at night. No vent fan in the bathrooms of the rooms we booked. Would book again though for the convenience and the location to easily get on and off the freeway and the updated feel of the room and fridge / microwave.

I love staying there. I find something new everytime I stay, like the amazing Thai resturant behind Safeway. I loove the lagoon, and having a clean room when I return at the end of day. Yes - I do extended stays. sometimes the patrons are loud in the parking lot - yelling and such, but everything else makes up for it

The front desk host, I think his name is Jeff was great, very friendly and checked me in without any issues. I asked for suggestions on where to dine and he provided a few options within walking distance and few driving distances. It was not the best hotel in southern Marin, but unless you are into an expensive boutique hotel, this is a great value. Plus there is one of the better coffee cart situations literally steps away. Nice people, clean room and convenient. What else do you need.

Overall, it was a good experience. It was a problem with some of the electrical outlets. Also the coffee maker did not work. Otherwise the convenience of talking and location, etc. were excellent.

This is a great property for the price. It is conveniently located. Despite being close the highway, I did not notice any road noise. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

The property was located on a frontage road next to the 101 freeway. The room was clean, but the location of the motel made it noisy and susceptible to auto and truck fumes coming off the freeway. I didn’t try the restaurant on the property, as I was just spending the night there on my way to Hollister.

The lodge is right next to hwy 101 and the car/truck noise is evident. Clean and comfortable. Good for one night, but not extended stay unless going for an inexpensive place. Staff is friendly!

Rooms were clean, Comfortable and area around the hotel seemed safe. The ameneties were minimal.

Shower space was tiny and the shower had a constant leak. Toilet would keep on running at times. Bathroom space was tiny TV was set to Spanish when we moved in. Poor channel selection. WiFi connection was atrocious Donut and coffee in the mornings could be improved.

So I stay here a lot as it is a very convenient and low-cost option in Marin county California. The rooms are varying and cleanliness for some reason it's right next to the freeway but you can't hear it which is nice. The staff's always super helpful but sometimes you get a bed that's just busted down in the center

This stay was good for one night and clean. But rooms had very thin walls, could hear the neighbors.

This an older property but rooms were updated, small and clean. Our shower handle was having issues but they sent repair guy to address it asap. Would stay here again.

Shower door was no Handel, there was no place in shower to put shampoo and soap so we had to put on ground the phone in room was not working according to staff none of the room has phone to contact front desk also the phone number for front desk won’t answer. There was approximately nothing for breakfast which they offer room with breakfast just coffee and hot water

The sink was leaking and there were cockroaches in the room. Walls are thin too, you can hear your neighbours very well.

We will always choose this on when we visit

The was quaint but nice the fridge and microwave were there but they did not work.

My stay served my purpose. However, I didn't get my coffee packs replaced. I like coffee daily and did not have a fresh package after the room was remade daily. That's it. Otherwise, room was clean, it was a quiet atmosphere. bed was a little hard, but all was ok.

The front staff was very friendly & helpful. There was problem with some of the outlets either not working or loose fitting.

Standard Travel Lodge, a little noisy, but a clean room with a bed and a shower. Indian Restaurant great food for an affordable price!

Waited quite a while for someone to show up at the receptionist desk went to go. Dinner came back and still no one there had to make a phone call to the office.

The location was easy on/off the main highway. A moderate walk or a short drive will put you in the center of town with its myriad possibilities.

Ice maker did not work but the scenery was very good.

We stay here a lot. We love the location to Stinson Beach, Sausalito, SF and hiking. The only thing I would ask for is to have more bath towels.

There seems to be a strange lack of good, clean places to stay in this part of Marin. This place is clean, with helpful staff, with immediate access to the highway. If you arrive late-ish, it may be difficult to find parking

Travel lodge has easy access into the city and to the freeway.

Location close to Muir Woods was important to us. Very clean. Bed was comfy

I booked a room online a week before. They said they did not have my name or credit card showing. But my bank statement said they charged me. So I bought another room and since there’s no cancellations, they’re trying to charge me twice. Very dog unfriendly. They accused me of smoking in the room, bringing a lady guest up at night, and then dog hair on the sheets. They were just fishing, trying to get my hundred dollar deposit on top of everything else. I just realized they hate white people bye some of the comments they made, calling me a privileged entitled American. It was totally insane. There’s not enough room here to write everything, but they ended up yelling at me all the way out the door and then the man, followed me all the way to my car, screaming and yelling and all the Way to the driveway, exit screaming yelling, and actually put his hand on my arm. He was so irate and out of his mind, it caused two other people to show up and they were all screaming at me. I just wanted to get out of there and then I noticed on my credit card that they had. charged me the initial price I paid, $85. The night that I stayed, $95. And also the hundred dollar deposit. they said they had cameras everywhere so they could see me when I left the room a few times to smoke. If they had cameras, they could see that I did not have any guests. And also it is against the law to charge a cleaning fee for just dog hair. These people are scammers,etc.

I consider this hotel a great find if you are exploring during the day and looking for a place to sleep in comfort at night. Inexpensive relative to other hotels in the area, Coffee and danish included in the morning. 5 minute walk to an ok Italian restaurant for dinner. 10-15 minutes to downtown Sausalito. The bonus find for us was the walkway heading towards the bay. Take the path, then down a trail (not at high tide!) and you come out at Edgewater development on De Silva Island and walk through a Heron sanctuary. It was about a 30 minute pleasant walk in the morning to a McDonalds where we stopped for lunch. If you don't need fancy, this is a great hotel. Some minor nits I will share with the hotel directly.

Their so-called breakfast is a joke!

They are renovating so there are things they are throwing away, but it is extremely unexpectedly nice for the price in the area. The staff was very kind, beds were so comfortable, and the water pressure was pretty good. Would recommend this for your star, especially on a budget.

Though the hotel is right next to the freeway, the rooms are quiet. The beds are very firm. The exterior might not be sparkling, but the rooms are clean, and the towels are softer than found in other, similar hotels. I was disappointed there wasn’t a hot tub accessible by all guests: I felt this wasn’t made clear by the listing.

The ice machine was also convenient.

We have stayed here a few times. This was our best visit. Tho things were clean and safe feeling, there were a couple of problems, but they were taken care of quickly and pleasantly. The desk clerk, I believe his name was Jeff, was very friendly and helpful, and made a difference in our desire to come back. Our stay was April 15, 16, 17.

Restaurant next door was incredible

The telephone did not work. I was unable to reach the front desk or an outside line. If you are having a medical emergency or other emergency, you must have access to an outside line.

The lagoons behind the hotel are really neat. You can see the tide change dramatically.

This was good for the price! Our king bed room had plenty of space. Just a very tight small shower. It’s in the middle of like a swamp, so that wasn’t our favorite. But the staff was fabulous! The like “fixer guy” was soooo kind and helpful! But we’d stay here again!

Never stayed out in Mill Valley so was extremely pleased at the ease of check in as well as the suite itself. The jetted tub was less than what I had hoped for but we made the most of it. Staff was friendly and property was very nice. Recommend this place for short stays & staycations’

I had a ground floor room so I coulf bring my bicycle inside.

Our room was a bit cold when we arrived, and the hot water was limited. Otherwise it was the right place at the right time for an overnight near Mill Valley.

Property was clean. Staff was friendly however, the Wi-Fi never worked during our two nights stay, and we were told that it hasn’t been working for a while. This was a problem since we had counted on working remotely, using Wi-Fi in our room. Also, the fitness center was closed and looked like it has been closed for a while.

In the process for going through renovations. No notice posted of renovation. My room had no telephone, nonworking TV and ants in the room. Additionally, there was no Wi-Fi when online it was specifically listed that there would be free Wi-Fi.

This was definitely a low budget hotel. The internet didn’t work. The phone service was out and the TV reception was absent or poor. The staff advised us on arrival that the internet service was out. No compensation was offered. The room itself was very basic but quite run down.

The electrical for the microwave and refrigerators did not work - they ran an extension cord from the bathroom wall. The internet NEVER worked and the Xfinity membership they said I should buy ($20, and they didn't take it off my bill!) didn't work in my room. The evening clerk was not helpful. The only other rooms were upstairs and I had already brought everthing into the first room. They need to be honest about what they offer and make sure rooms actually function

We stay here often and enjoy cleanliness, size of double queen room, location and quiet. Good places to walk. Will continue to stay here.

Dirty carpet. Loud noise from nearby freeway. Ants in the bathroom. Humming and rattling from nearby machinery all night long.

This was a comfortable, basic hotel with everything we needed for an overnight stay. The member of staff on the desk was friendly and polite.
